The music and location was awesome. They had good beer stands and a water mist for cooling off. I sat on a park bench by the water and it was beautiful. All of the groups that played sounded so nice.I'm glad I purchased tickets to this event. I will always go to see this group.

The venue A&R Music Bar is one I've been to without a show going on, so this was my first show there. Promo west hadn't put an opening act on the ticket until maybe 3 days prior, but that's besides the point. I found out about Personal Public a day before the show, found a YouTube video and just so happened to be their last set song, "Home", it was a great performance. The Arkells were filled with energy, played some of their new stuff, some of their older stuff but overall were mind blowing good and their interaction with the audience was something I've never seen. Their post show meet and greet was more than I've seen a lot of bands do.

At first skeptical, then amazed, then thoroughly rocked to the bone! Totally going to another show when they come within "girls night out" distance.

We were really impressed by this performance. We felt a bit odd as we were probably the only 40-year olds in the young, almost all-girl crowd, but the guys really rocked it. It was great to hear a less pop-y sound in the live performance and despite a small audience, the guys delivered with great energy (including clean vocals, precise drumming and driving modulating guitar work). Sound and light were well thought out and the group's synergy made the performance both fun and energizing. Even my husband, an avid conoisseur of alternative/indie music, was impressed. For the sake of exposure, we'd love to see these guys at the Coke Stage during Stampede.....They have lots of great songs and are definitely worth a listen. We predict great things for this group!

My wife and I try to hit several shows a year at the Tivoli in Chattanooga. We're more of a 'classic rock' couple, but we enjoy listening live to different types of music. Bottom line: we really enjoyed Dave Rawlings! Toe tapping Americana folk! Fantasic harmonies and lyrics. Will definitly see him again next time he rolls into town!

The evening started with Amy Helm and The Handsome Strangers. Amy has a wonderful singing style and her band is very professional. I enjoyed them very much. Then came The Word. I love Robert Randolph's music and this band was excellent! We were a little surprised that no songs were sung until the encore with Amy Helm. Robert had some issues with his instrument, which in no way took away from the concert. He is just fantastic! What a talent. John Medeski on the keyboards was also really great. The North Mississippi Allstars were so talented, I really liked seeing them. I would highly recommend this concert to people who love Blues, R&B, Gospel and Rock.
