This was a very pleasant low key evening, a very nice change of pace from loud high energy performances of other artists. Her voice is still very pleasing to the ear.

Dionne looked very nice..But she was very controlling over the audience..Spoke very low so that you had to really pay attention..Music was good ..The show was 1 hour and 15 minutes..15 minutes was her preaching at us to clap louder for her band ..And something about where she lives ..Couldn't hear her

Dionne was absolutely amazing! Everything I ever expected! My mom loved her music! She past away a year ago, in her final hours I sang to her all of her favorite Dionne songs! So there is such a special connection! She brought out her granddaughter and son! Amazing talent in that family!

Ms. Warwick's performance was a wonderful walk down memory lane. Her voice continues to be impressive. Her style is entertaining and charming. It was delightful to view the warmth and playfulness between Ms. Warwick and her son, David Elliott, singer-songwriter. David inherited his Mother's charm, her entertaining style - and, a musically gifted voice. I am impressed, thrilled and delighted to have the opportunity to hear and see Ms. Warwick.

This was one of the best performances ever. The audience was soooo excited and happy, I've never seen so many people smiling. Ms. Warwick is still an amazing singer and her medley of songs was perfect. I want to thank her for introducing us to her son David Elliott and I can't wait to be sitting in the audience at one of his shows. I had the best time ever. Would see her again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Dionne's show was fabulous! She was in great voice, able to reach high notes and sustain them. She sang all her hits and other familiar songs of the same era. I just wished the concert could have lasted longer.

Dionne is such a consummate professional and her sophistication and humanity were evident throughout the interview. I admire her honesty and the pride she takes in her craft. What a privilege to gain insight into such a talented and caring human being. We laughed, we cried, we applauded. Then we were treated to a few songs. Alfie and That's What Friends are For both brought back cherished memories. I will never forget this wonderful evening.

If your expectation was for Dionne Warwick to sing majority of the time - you will be disappointed. She only sang 4 songs for the 1.5- 2 hour show! Grammy Museum should advertise as 'An Evening with Dionne Warwick - Interview by so and so - ' or something that this was an interview !

If someone forewarned me to expect an hour and fifteen minute interview and 20 minutes of singing (three songs), I still would have attended. But without the forewarning, I was very disappointed in the minimal "music" performance.

This event was a very candid, relaxed, intimate evening with music legend Dionne Warwick. The setting was fantastic. With only 200 seats in the Sound Stage, everyone could feel up close and personal to Miss Warwick. The balance of questions from the interviewer and audience, and music from Miss Warwick was perfect. Miss Warwick was personable and engaging in her signature classy and elegant way. She was very gracious with her fans and treated us to 4 wonderful selections accompanied only by piano. A fabulous evening at the Grammy Museum! I look forward to returning to other events like this.

I had the opportunity to sit dead center front row. I have admired her since 1970 when I first came to this country. This gave me a insight to her life and carreer. I wished that the interview was bit shorter which would have allowed her to sing couple of more songs. She is a class ACT !!!

Dionne sauntered onto the Revel stage at Ovation Hall on Friday night last week. She was greeted to mediocre applause by a less than enthusiastic crowd. Maybe they were mourning the sad and untimely closing of Revel. A two billion dollar white elephant joining three other casino shutdowns happening within weeks. One already has closed. Miss Warwick quickly noticed two very rude press people that seemed to think they would stand directly in front of the stage and take pictures. Well Miss Warwick thought otherwise. When finding out that these two annoying underlings did not work for Revel she ordered them to leave the stage and not block the view of those people that paid to see the show. And brusquely told them both to have a seat. One at a time. Priceless moment. But not one that should have surprised since Miss Warwick is a Diva before the word lost it's true meaning. After explaining to the audience that she was vocally compromised due to a vocal polyp she began the show. And despite her medical condition she hit back to back home runs. Each song was delivered on a silver platter. Lyrics were clear and her command of the music and band was outstanding. It was nice to see that Miss Warwick would like to pass the baton to her son and granddaughter who joined Miss Warwick onstage and after showcasing their vocal abilities closed the show accompanying Miss Warwick in singing That's What Friends are For. Unfortunately Miss Warwick should have just had them join in for this one song. She cut short her stellar performance and was in no way in need of any vocal assistance. Her voice is so unique. So smooth and distinctive that she can carry a show accompanied by her three member band. No props needed. An encore or two would really have been nice. But nonetheless Miss Warwick sings live. No enhancements. No back up singers to help hide the imperfections. There were no imperfections. She is a vocalist. Old school. Not shaking her backside and exposing half her bosom. Not necessary. She's a vocalist. And her years of performing have created a self confidence and vocal command that is in a class all by itself. Brava!

Have been a fan of Dionne Warwick for a long long time, particularly late 70's and 80"s. Was so very pleased to have the chance to go see her again. She can still sing and entertain. Her show was excellent and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan or anyone who appreciates the music of our American legends.

Dionne spoke to the audience about her show and then delivered a great show gave everyone something to remember. A trip down memory lane new styles of great hits San Jose , Alfie, What the world needs now , and her great hits done with But Bacharach, . she also did some new numbers with a latin flair Brasil and Wave by Carlos Jobim. Her band was very talented and include her son who was the drummer /percussionist and the surprise of the night was her grandaughter who came out for 30 minutes and sang with Dionne reminding us what a pedigree this family has of great voices and the future is in good hands.Show was well worth the trip would go see her again...!!

Things were going okay until Dionne began to scold her audience. It was totally uncalled for and I think most people felt she was just putting in time as she was getting tired. She probably does the same thing at each concert. I felt it put the audience off.

Dionne Warwick was a disappointment. Her voice lacked color and it was obvious she was feeling her age as she rarely moved away from her stool, either sitting on it or holding onto it when she stood. It was nice to hear many of her standards, but I could do that with my iPod.

The highlight of the show was Dionne's powerful delivery in covering the Jackie DeShannon hit What The World Needs Now Is Love. Lowlight was the 15 minute monologue/lecture to the audience on proper applause levels for the band. If kept to 5 minutes it would have been humorous but the extended length made it seem like sour grapes. Overall, a pleasure seeing Dionne perform live, she was a big part of the soundtrack of the 60's. Glad we went!

The last time I saw Dionne was literally 30 years ago at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. Saw the show last weekend at the Nugget. She received a standing ovation just from walking on the stage. Played all the songs that you would expect. Look she is near 80 years old. Got tired and had to sit down a few times. Her voice is on its way out but the memories she brought back are priceless. Also it was very obvious that she was giving it her all to please the audience. Connected well in her interactions with the audience. Got a standing ovation with "I know i'll never love this way again" and called it quits leaving on a high note with no encore.

Yeah I know she's getting old. I get it, but girl! A little over done on the whole cell phone thing. Be glad people want to take have a memory of the night. Also, we've all been to a lot of concerts. We come to here Dionne sing, not be lectured for 15 minutes on how to respond to the instroduction of her band. I'm not sure what happened to Dionne. Even many of her great songs were left out for some not so great ones. Then the Dionne of the old days would at least have stayed on stage after the last song to shake hands or at least smile for a couple pictures. Maybe an Encore for people paying $100. I'm hoping she was having a really bad night and this is not the way everyone will experience her show. If it is, she should just retire and let us remember the old days when she seemed happy and friendly and we all took pictures. Even with a flash! Not cool Dionne!

Great show, great show, fair concert hall, decent sound. I enjoyed the show, but I would never go back to this venue. Having to walk through the smoke filled casino to go to the concert area literally made my stomach sick, and we were treated very poorly when we stopped to get a bite to eat.

Honestly I did not expect this show to be so good, but Ms. Warwick's voice was in top form and she performed for 90 minutes without any back-up singers. Her band was also top notch. I did not know all of the songs, but regardless I enjoyed the show...a must see in my opinion. I went with my mother, who has been a fan of Ms. Warwick for her entire career, and she also enjoyed the show very much.

The show was fantastic, she preformed all of her greatest hits as she took us down memory lane. She did not sing one of my favorite " Promises Promises" but that's ok. Our seats were very close to the stage so we saw her up close. The show started on time and lasted about an hour and 20 minutes without an intermission and she did a lot of songs. The show was well worth the cost and her four musicians were excellent.

When I first saw that the stage was not set up for a big band type of show ( horn section, percussion and backup singers), I must admit I was a little disappointed BUT! when Dionne came out looking ravishing in a sparkly white jump suit , she looked and sounded amazing! Her 4 piece band, 2 keyboard players ,a drummer and bass player were truly world class. She sang all her hits and a few I wasn't familiar with to perfection. She interacted with the crowd and was very relaxed and loved what she was doing. It was an extremely intimate and enjoyable event. It was an honor and privilege to see such an icon perform and have a chance to give her something back like our appreciation for all her wonderful songs and memories.

As hard as it is to admit it, this was a very disappointing show. She is such a class act and unfortunately the choice of playlist and the poor acoustics degraded from the show significantly. If the engineers had done something so simply as turn up her microphone it would've made a world of difference. She spoke so softly and quietly that it was virtually impossible to understand her dialogue in between the songs, and the songs themselves lacked the quality that her reputation commands in that the acoustics were so poor. Perhaps her two biggest hits "Do you know the Way to San Jose" and "Walk on by" were presented in renditions that were a poor substitute for the original melodies. Of course this is the artists perogative, and clearly her attitude in regards to the historic nature of her music was not as important to her as it is to the listening audience and adoring fans.

Over the past few years I have been trying to see some of the legendary artists that I have never seen in concert (Paul Anka, Tommy James, Diana Ross, to name a few), and on that list was Dionne Warwick. She did not disappoint. At 76 years old she looked wonderful, and she is still a marvelous singer; although she is no longer a soprano, and she sang her hits in much lower keys, her voice is still clear and recognizable and she still has excellent vocal command. She was totally at ease with the audience, joking, telling a few stories (but not a lot of time-wasting epics). Her 4 piece band was tremendous (piano, bass, drums and a synth player doing the strings, horns, flutes, etc.). She covered most of her hits (notably absent was "Heartbreaker", "Deja Vu", & "Trains & Boats & Planes"); 1 downer for me was her tendency to play very clipped versions of some of her hits ("You'll Never Get to Heaven" was about 30 seconds), and I did not like her "21st Century" remake of "I Say a Little Prayer". The classic well-known version of that song is perfect and should have been left alone. I also did not care for her opening act, "The Silver Stars". This vocal trio sang for 1/2 hour and did a bunch of obscure '70s R&B hits, all but the first song slow & tedious & boring. And the worst part of their act was that they sang over tracks - no live music backing them. I have never seen that at a live concert before and I do not approve. But all in all, thanks to Dionne, it was a fine evening.

Had read prior reviews of Ms. Warwick's performances and really wanted to enjoy the show but must admit that the entire show was filled with disappointing, negative moments. Her voice is not what it used to be but that is to be expected and even so, her singing brought back fond memories.....However, the entire experience was riddled with negativity....guests were greeted by large 3'x4' placards in the lobby warning patrons that "no videos must be taken" and to check-in all video equipment. Not a great, positive start to the evening......Throughout the performance, she admonished and scolded the audience for not "clapping" correctly or loud enough and for not following her "singing instructions" correctly.......All the while, the audience was very polite and pleasant.....the audience was very welcoming and gracious.....Ms. Warwick, unfortunately, was not.

My wife and I attended the Dionne Warwick Valentines Day concert in Orlando last night. Ms Warwick took the stage to a loud ovation and during her first song admonished a spectator who was trying to video her performance. She said that she didn't want her performance posted on "Bookface" for all to see and her friends to question what happened to her voice. Her voice was definitely a distant memory, but she performed a medley of her hits and at times one could enjoy just hearing her do her best. After the initial medley, she did several unknown tunes about Brazil and spent a good deal of time talking rather than singing. It was as if she was trying to drag out the performance to justify the price we paid for our tickets. The audience was supportive and applauded each song, but there was little enthusiasm from the audience. She maintained her class throughout the sub-par performance. Time for her to retire.

Dionne did her very best under difficult circumstances. Her voice was pretty weak due to a throat problem and I enjoyed her singing in the beginning especially, however, she was having difficulty physically getting through the performance. My biggest problem was that she brought out her son and grand-daughter to perform and that is not what I paid for. I saw her son perform with her years ago and he just does not have much stage presence or range. I still adore her and am glad that I went but she may need to change the songs or have backup singers to support her or take more breaks all of which would have been fine with me. We were all pulling for her. You could tell from the applause that the crowd was with her.

I feel bad giving the show a poor review, because I am a big Dionne Warwick fan. However, her voice is far from what it was. Add to that a lot of really empty chatter with unnecessary dramatic pauses and I was anxious for it to be over. Dionne didn't set a very positive tone when she embarrassed a couple of photographers who were trying to get pictures for articles they were writing before she even started singing (ordering them to sit down). I'm sure some there were quite happy with the concert. I was just disappointed. Her set list reminded me just how good she was.

The concert venue was literally full to capacity, becoming standing room only due to all the seats being sold out! Dionne took to the stage and opened the show with one of her early hits, "Don't Make Me Over" if I recall correctly. This was followed by many of her many hits such as "Anyone Who Had A Heart", "Message To Michael", "Alfie", "etc. As I expected, Dionne did not perform any of her Arista Record period hits with the exception of "I'll Never Love This Way Again" and "Friends" and two songs from her 1995 album "Aquarela Do Brasil". Both were performed with lively energy which received fabulous feedback from the crowd! Some songs that were originally sung in a high key were sung in a much lower key such as "Do You Know The Way To San Jose", "Anyone Who Had A Heart" and "This Girl's In Love With You" due to the face her upper register has gotten worn down over time. Aside from that songs such as "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" and "You'll Never Get To Heaven If You Break My Heart", "I'll Never Love This Way Again" and "What The World Need Now Is Love" still sounded fabulous live because they still suit her voice very well! The two recent songs she performed "Love Is Still The Answer" and "99 Miles From L.A." from her 2012 album titled "Now" were performed with emotive sophistication and prove Dionne is still a sharp song interpreter. Her granddaughter, Cheyenne Elliott and her son, David Elliott both performed one song each as well as duets with Dionne. They all concluded the concert with a performance of "Friends". Dionne looked fabulous and was warm and gracious to the many appreciative fans. Her witty sense of humour was also a highlight of the concert.

She is effortlessly chic and her music lifts your spirits in a cool calculating style that was born in the 60s when Dionne (along with Burt Bacharach and Hal David) held court in the pop charts. She has been with us for 50 years and her capabilities as a singer proves that good things do get better with age. Dionne sings as if she is savoring a vintage wine which takes us on a musical binge that we become lost in as we become euphoric then later are awakened in Brazil during Carnival. She is a sensual and spiritual Earth Mother who presents her Son and Grand Daughter on stage to embellish the act. The joy of spending the evening with Dionne lasts long after her concert and reverberates in your heart and soul. I am SO glad I went.

Dionne had the audience captured from the moment she walked on to the stage. The good vibes were there and when she sang, it was juat so great. The emotional reaction to her songs and distinctive voice brought cheers, tears and smiles to all. The audience covered a spectrum of ages, and everyone was enjoying the new music as well as the old. Her son and granddaughter joined her on stage briefly and they too sang. It was all good.

Dionne Warwick was great! I wish the show was just a tad longer, say 30 minutes more. I felt she could have slowed her pace down just a bit so we can here each song in its entirety. Otherwise, I enjoyed hearing her son and grand daughter being party of the show. The food needs a little work. I had the Fried Chicken entre and I felt I could have done a better job cooking that chicken. It's in bad form to serve bad food and then on top of it charge and arm and a leg for it. I doubt I would by another meal in there. Debbie.

Dionne was great, but finishing the second half of the show with performances by her pouting, frown faced grand daughter and very kind and likeable son, however good they are as performers, was a bunch of amateur-hour nonsense. Not what we expect from a professional.

Loved hearing all the old songs. But years of smoking has damaged her voice. She was straining to hit some notes. Her son performed with her and he is so talented.

A true American icon and national treasure. Such an honor to bask in the prescence of an entertainer/humanitarian with such prolific talents, personality and class. The aire of confidence was only to be upstaged by the amazing strength of talent that generated it. The spirit of the night reached down into your soul, touched your heart with such a passion, that it brought out a tear of appreciation, knowing, that you were witnessing an event, you would remember for the rest of your life. I could feel how special this night really was, by closing my eyes, and just listening to her voice. I will NEVER forget this evening, for as long as I live. Dionne Warwick was surley blessed to have been given these gifts from above, and I was blessed to have been there. Thank you Dionne, for sharing them with us.

Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharack and Clive Davis all together - wow! And then to be interviewed by the best interviewer around, Bob Santelli, wow! The voice is still there and her musical interpretation is over the top. She is a genuine, caring and loving person that so evident in her presence and words that you just had to fall in love her with her. If you never been to the Grammy Museum to hear one of these interviews and you like music, you need to go.

What a wonderful evening. I think we were the youngest people there by about 20 years -- but so what? Warwick encouraged us to sing along -- and everyone did. So many hits. Such a lovely performer. And the duets she did with her very talented son (who is in training to be a police officer! Please stay on the stage instead) were lovely.

Dionne Warwick was on my 'gotta see' list for more than 25 years. Somehow, during all that time, our paths never crossed. The stars finally aligned for this show, in the very intimate Smothers Theater at Pepperdine University, in the mountains overlooking Malibu. The show was pleasant, but not perfect--her voice was touch-and-go, and she showcased her son David too much. He's a very fine singer with excellent stage presence, but I didn't pay to see him perform. Dionne's setlist was top-heavy with her classics (something Roberta Flack couldn't be bothered with during her poor show last year), and of course some songs were missing, like "Deja Vu", "Promises, Promises" and "Then Came You", her great 1974 duet with the Spinners. That's to be expected, considering that she had a TON of hits. The ones that did make the setlist were a pleasure, and included "Alfie", "I'll Never Love This Way Again", a great jazz arrangement of "Do You Know the Way To San Jose" and of course "Walk On By", which she opened with. She ran through a medley of some of her 60's hits, when I would have preferred the full versions, and the Brazilian section in the middle of the show went on too long, but I still enjoyed seeing her regardless.

The show was great. She sang old and new songs, talked about what she was doing in her life and had 2 very special guests. One special guest was her son, he was so good looking and tall and could sing. The second was a up and coming 13 year old who played backup for her. He was great too and only 13 years old.It was one of the best concerts i have been too. It was about 2 hours with no breaks. We were home before the rain and early enough that we were not tired the next day. I loved it...

Honestly, I have nothing against the lady herself. But, she never showed up. She had a scheduled date here back in 2010 and she canceleled it, then I guess the fans were told she was rescheduling for this year on the same date 9/11/11 and that was cool, so here was my chance to see the lady herself and guess what.......she CANCELED AGAIN!!! So, in essence, we got nothing but a refund 2 years in a row and not even the whole amount, Dionne, my dear, get it right.....

The sound system was great. The performance was well done. She was in excellent voice. She sounds the same as she did years ago. I liked the band especially the key board and piano players. The music in itself was excellent. She was dressed rather casual; I would have preferred to see her in an evening gown representing the class act that her performances show.

While I truly enjoy the Caesar's Windsor venue I wouldn't go see Dionne Warwick again. I'm not a child and don't like being treated like one, as Dionne did to the whole audience. Telling us how to applaud and how to sing along made the event too uncomforatable for me. No wonder so many began to walk out. People pay to be entertained, not reprimanded.

Tho' she was a bit hoarse at first, that legendary voice warmed up and gave the fans a wonderful evening in song. After 50 years in the music business, her voice is deeper and the top of her former range is gone; however the emotion conveyed, the inimitable style, her mastery of melisma, and the navigation of tricky key changes and her ability to modulate are all better than ever. The fact that she could fill the huge Hard Rock Seminole arena on short notice and on a Thursday night is evidence of her undiminished appeal to those of us who fondly recall her many hit songs as the soundtrack of our lives.

What can I say about a concert with a real diva? The show was perfect, the choice of the songs was flawless, Dionne still surprises everybody on stage. It's amazing how a lady (a beautiful lady, I must say) in her seventies can perform such a touching concert. Her voice is wonderful\u2026 The venue was an excellent choice for a singer like her - many seating places, almost all of them occupied. It was a really divine night!

I loved her concert and the homage she made to my home country Brazil. She even sang in portuguese. Her words "If you take a vacation don't think of going to the South of France, to the coast of Italy or to Disneyworld but go to Brazil, if you don't feel the energy and rythm of the music then go see a doctor cause you might be dead already."

Dionne Warwick can still sing every bit as well as she did in her major recording years and her son who accompanies her on a couple of duets has enormous talent that deserves to be professionally directed my his mother. The songs brought back wonderful memories of the most wonderful years in recording history. The performance while lacking Vegas glitz was truly warm and audience directed especially when Dionne would encourage the audience to join her in the harmonies. Our audience that night did such an amazing accompanying job with "Heart Breaker" that I am still humming it. Special cuddos to Kathy who accompanied Dionne on the piano and who directed the other members of the band. She was outstanding. The drummer was easily one of the best I have heard since I saw MaMa Mia live on Broadway. The two men on keyboards were absolutely magical and made their instruments sound like a small orchestra. I am better today for having seen this show than before I had seen it. Thanks for adding value to my life that night!

The Lady is beautiful, elegantly classy and can still sing wondrously in that distinctive voice and style that make her one of a kind. Very formal -- maybe relax and story-tell a bit about her journey through memorable musical eras working with greats such as Burt Bachrach and Carole Bayer Sager.

Dionne didn't seem to have her pipes early on, and it wasn't really up to expectations, but as she went along she started getting into it. She did several of her classics. Then she did a dull section on her new cd about Brazil. We then got another real good song or two, and I was optimistic. After all it was Dionne, and she was real good for a few minutes. But then? Bye Bye. She left just as she was getting warmed up. Seeing her once was ok, but I wouldn't pay her again.

Dionne started on time, maybe even a few minutes early. She sang many of her standards, as well as two songs from her new jazz album. However, I was disappointed when the concert ended just 1 hour and 15 minutes in, with no encore, especially when the ushers said it would be a 2-hour concert. Oh Dionne, why do you have to be a heartbreaker? Suddenly everything I've ever wanted has passed me by...
