They're so much fun live. I saw them at the Williamsburg Waterfront for free over the summer and it was a little underwhelming...but this BLEW ME AWAY. An amazing night to start off my holiday break!

Melanie brings a from-the-Midwest-but-lives-elsewhere perspective in her songs. She certainly has shown talent as a songwriter and musician.

First time I saw C&C they had the full live band with their actual instruments (drums were the best part). This time around only one of the guys showed up and was behind a barrier with no instruments. Although MC Rage showed up and was great, just wasn't the same. I was kinda disappointed just because I knew how amazing they were when I saw them in 2011 at the Music Box in LA

I enjoyed the whole show overall but thought Dirty Deeds sounded a little better than the Motley Crüe tribute band. Wish they would have played some more Crüe songs!

i actually thought Ariel Pink's was the opening act till i got there (duh!), so i kinda did expect a longer show, but that was my fault and the hour itself was well-enjoyed. webster hall's sound is always great and the live band accompanying Ariel gave his rather lo-fi-sounding CD tracks a new texture taking them to a new / fresh direction. in my opinion, all live performances should depart from the studio sound on the record and give us something specially memorable to take home from the encounter. the main act was a brazilian band called "Os Mutantes". since i didn't really care for them i left the venue immediately after APHG's set, so i can't comment on that. sorry. but, i have to add though, that by judging from the hearty / enthusiastic round of applause they gave APHG, if they weren't already fans they'd definitely become after that night, which is a good thing. the faster their popularity grows the sooner they get "main course" status. though for now i confess, the sold me at the appetizer!

My sister, my best friend and myself decided to attend the Ultimate Elvis Tribute concert at Harrahs Cherokee Casino. We didn't know what to expect however we were not disappointed at all. The seven finalist were amazing. Some looked like Elvis, some sounded like him and several would have made Elvis proud. Our pick Ryan ending up winning the contest and will be representing Harrahs Cherokee in Memphis in August during Elvis week. We had such a great time that we will be attending this event next year.
