Sublime with Rome

The offspring put on a great show while I thought Rome was terrible.

Opening act The Unlikely Candidates was a great choice. They rocked The Offspring to me was a big surprise!! they were amazingly fun.i would definitely see them again.Good sound system Sublime rocked,Rome is a great addition but vocals and guitar got a little lost in the sound system .i would love to see them again Over all a great Show!!!!!

Great lineup, great weather, great venue. Ticket price was reasonable.

was a little skeptical at first b/c i had never seen Rome perform live. But i have to admit i was pretty impressed. he's a great performer and of course the rest of the band rocked as well. they totally rocked the stage and made the audience feel great (at least i did haha). overall, at the end of the night i decided that i definitely want to see this band perform again =)

This was an awesome show! Although Sublime has lost its very special Bradley Nowell, the lovin' lives on with Rome. He is a fantastic singer, and the band is as hot as ever. GREAT SHOW! I can't wait to see them again!

I was amazed at this concert...Sublime played every song that you could possibly want to hear and then some !!!! They seamlessly went from one song to the next without missing a beat !!!! The Dirty Heads opened up and they were awesome as well .....def a great band as well and will buy their cd !!!!

I had a blast. The Dirty heads are a great opener to sublime. Rome is a great replacement.. you can tell he has big shoe to fill but is not trying to let anyone forgot the real legend of sublime :) it was awesome! they put on a great show. They also brought a guy named Phil with them on tour.. an english kid who was OD'ing so they helped him out. Phil was rly good.

Yeah, baby!!!!!!!!!! This show was so much more than we had anticipated!!!!! Got the tickets because we're such devout Sublime/Bradley Nowell fans. We were definitely alittle skeptic about how it would all go down with this new Rome guy taking Brad's place. But, WOW!!!!! He rocked the place the entire show!!! Both his vocals and his playing were definitely what you'd hope for from a guy stepping into such GREAT, BIG shoes for a night. You could sum the whole experience up as a very fitting and worthy memorium to one of rock's greatest: Bradley Nowell!!!!!!!

The show was amazing. I'd do it again for sure. Well worth the money. The Ditry Heads were awesome too! We got there early and they let us have access to the floor. We ended up front row! Can't get any better than that.

First band we couldn't figure out the name. Offspring was on point and kicked ass!!!! Sublime needs a new sound guy or equipment or NOT GET SO STONED YOU SING TO YOURSELF!!! Simple really. We left. Venue should have a handicap gate that's efficient and swift.

My second time seeing Sublime with Roam and it was freaking incredible!!!

I bought these tickets a month out for a surprise for my girlfriend. It was worth the wait they killed it the whole show was great. I would highly recommend it if they come back again.

Sublime with Rome put on a great show for New Years Eve! The band played great. All full of energy keeping the show exciting. Would go see again!

This concert was amazing!! I got the tickets as a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend!! Would definitely see them again! Loved the fact that Rome sounds just like his "radio voice" that shows real talent! Again, it was a great time and would definitely see him again!

I thought all the bands at Canandaigua NY were great but the bass was over powered and distorted. It seemed to wash out the vocals on Rome. Besides that we had a great time with good seats and excellent tunes by all.

Had a blast at this concert....disappointed with the first 2 opening acts (and I was looking forward to one of them)...but Rebelution did not disappoint! Amped up the crowd and got everyone into some "good vibes" for Sublime to come on....can't wait for another show

The meet and greet was horrible. My wife and I both had the VIP package and we only got on picture with the both of us. They did not say more then two words to us and we only had less then a minute with them. The package was a waste of money. The show they put on was just ok.

Rebelution & Sublime with Rome KILLED IT!!! Great atmosphere, good vibes, and even better music..! Rebelytion was everything I thought it would be and more! Sublime, of course, is legendary.. However, Rebeltuion could easily headline this show!!! What a great concert guys!! (Pepper included!) Mikey Avalon's music can suck it....But nevertheless, is a talented weirdo..lol

I have been a fan of Pepper for over ten years and was excited to see they would be opening for Sublime with Rome locally. So, I really only came for Pepper but was pleasantly surprised to hear how amazing Rebelution was. Sublime with Rome were great too -- even doing some new material. It was a great show overall.

The concert was INCREDIBLE!!! My BF and I took my daughter for her 21st birthday. This was our 3rd year in a row and this year the concert happened to land on my daughters birthday so it was extra special. We will be there again next year and every year after as long as they keep playing at Mandalay Bay Beach. Hands down the best place to see a concert.

As a huge fan of Sublime growing up, I was amped to finally get to see a live performance of their music. Even though Eric is the only original member still playing in that lineup now since Bud left, Rome, Eric & Josh put on a stellar show packed with Sublime hits and some of their lesser known songs which was perfect. They also threw in a few SWR new originals, also great music and they should make more of it. There was a live DJ in the group, didn't catch his name but he was scratching the samples for the songs along with the band like a boss. The music and attitude was well represented, Bradley should be proud.

So much fun! Played lots of old sublime. Love this venue as well! Rome does an excellent job!

Went with my daughter... she loved the band... was not impressed with the opening act though... too loud and songs sounded the same for the most part.

Sublime was as its name suggests... SUBLIME! Great music, relaxed security, and the location of Red Rocks does not hurt either! Our only complaint was the headache inducing opener "Descendants" who you couldn't hear one word of what they were saying the entire set, and we were in the FRONT row! On ther other hand, "HD Surround sound" was awesome!!! We will definitely be picking up a CD! Good job RedRocks, Sublime w/ Rome and Morrison Police - who all worked hard to make sure everybody got to have a safe, fun time and enjoy the pleasures of "Colorado life" without worrying about getting hassled. What an experience! You simply must go next time they visit Colorado :)

There is nothing better in this world than to see live music. Watching the crowd grow more intense as the evening goes on is so much fun for me. Also, I looked to see all the next towns Sublime with Rome will be going next and I can't imagine what it's like for the band to be on the road. Has to be exhausting, but you would never know from their performance. I give props to all these amazing musicians who enlighten our world and make it a better place! I can't wait to go to my next concert.

Got there a little late because it was storming and pouring down rain so we missed the first act I believe it was hb sound system .. but it stopped raining right as we got there and Julian Marley was just starting ..he play a great show . We loved it and it got us all in a great mood for the night.. after about 30min Pennywise set up to play .. they played the best show of the night.. but I think they could have played longer. Seems like they're set was also only 30mins long .. then after that it took over a hour for sublime to set up. And then they started about to 2 hours late. Dont get me wrong . We loved them ..best show ever but seems it took a very long time for the show to start. Witch means they ended the show early at around 10pm . So in the end Great show! But like I said they all could have played longer for the money we all had to pay for tickets ... also we loved the st augustine arena and will be attending more show there soon.

Great venue, great weather, the reggae band and Pennywise were incredible openers Nd Sublime with Rome really knows how to host a party! Great crowd! Parking and traffic were not even issues as well, props to the casino for that.

The concert was absolutely amazing! Everyone jammed their heart out. There was very little trouble and the security for the event was just spot on. The Show was a huge success in every way!

CYPRESS HILL DOMINATED THE CONCERT IN GENERAL. Sublime truly rocked the house. Pepper was awesome. BUT Dirty Heads wasn't so great.

Pepper was awesome. They should come back to Philly asap. Rome was dope as hell too. Hemp Heals better be back next year!

This was the best show I have seen ever!!!! I am a concert going guy (been to over 1000) and this was the perfect show!!!! Starting with the venue....Saturday night.....Las Vegas.... Mandalay Beach Resort....Nuff said!!!! We were in the pool about 10 feet from the stage. Cypress Hill came out with sick energy and got the joint fired up immediatly!!!! They played long and loud and could easily been head lining the show themselves!!! Sublime was awesome also!!!! Played a perfect blend of classic jams with just enough good new ones!!! MUST SEE SOW AT MUST SEE VENUE!!!!!

I had the most amazing experience jamming to all of these artists! They really know how to put on a great show. I wish they would come to Corpus Christi more often!

The venue was great and the line up was terrific except that Sublime without Brad was the headliner. The mass exodus after Foster the People must have incensed Sublime.

Everyone who played was freaking amazing! Especially the Shins and Foster the People!

One of the best concerts I have ever been to! This was my second time seeing them live and they exceeded my expectations! Rome is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go again!

A fun show to watch. the venue help out a lot. We saw SUBLIME w/ ROME at Mandalay Bay Beach. Our first time to watch a concert there. We all LOVED it. Sublime ROCKED. It was great weather for late October in Vegas. The stage was set up in the pool off to the side. We watched the show front and center in knee deep of water with 6 inches of waves breaking. the band played for about an hour and forty minutes. I took my youngest son for his first concert ever and he loved it. He loved it as much as playing in the water while listening to the band play. The audiences knew more of their old songs and sang along with it. For $40.oo, great show to watch. Rome w/ Sublime ROCKED!!!!!

My only complaint was that they didn't play Badfish. Other than that I really enjoyed the show. And the Mandalay Bay beach club is a great place for concerts.

From the start, Sublime w/ Rome ROCKED! It was also great watching the band at Mandalay Bay Beach, Las Vegas. More than half the audiences were in the water knee deep with 6 inch waves breaking. Plus the weather was perfect for a late October. The band played for about an hour and forty minutes. The audiences sang along with excitement. Worth seeing them for $40.oo. Not a bad show. Also, I brought my 8 yr. old with us to watch. His very first concert ever! He loved the show as much as playing in the beach/pool.

Concert was amazing overall. I have been a HUGE Sublime fan since before I can remember. Of course, it wasn't the same without Bradley, but Rome did an awesome job. Their classic songs were jammin - especially when they opened with 'Date Rape.' Good stuff!! Their new songs are pretty sweet, too! AND they came out and did a three-song encore!

Loved the whole show! I got to meet them afterwards too....made my life! :)

My group and I got there like an hour before the doors opened and were able to be right in front of the stage the whole night! When Lionize came onto the stage, they took it by storm! The lead singer, Nate, sings right from the soul! I already had seen them live before and knew a lot of their songs, but they surprised me with their new stuff and that was so awesome of them!! They were the perfect opener for Sublime, and my friends and I honestly didn't want them to leave! We were asking if it was okay if an opening band played an encore!?! Sublime came on, and seeing how LIONIZE took charge of the stage, they knew they had to bring it....and they DID! The most amazing thing to see is when you know that the members are having a great time performing their music and that they're doing it for the crowd. They were so pumped the whole time! After the show, my group and I went to Lionize's merch table and got all the member's signatures on our tickets!! The singer Nate talked to all of us for a good ten minutes and even recognized my sister and I from a previous show!! All in all, one of the best experiences I've had, and I cannot wait til Lionize comes back!

If you are a long time fan of Sublime and want to continue to hear their music then i would go see this show. Rome is not some replacement guy, he had a lot of respect even saying R.I.P. to Brad during an encore and definitely keeping the Sublime feeling going. They only played a couple of their new songs but mostly just showed that they still have it. We went two nights in a row and both shows were different and just as great.

Sublime with Rome and the dirty heads both did an Incredible job. Swr played all the old jams as well as rocked some new ones. I wanna personally thank sublime for being the true voice of a generation and holding a mirror up to ugly America saying this is you, this is how you are... and at the same time celebrating it. The concert was the perfect way to ring in my thirtieth birthday. Only way it could have been better is if I could have met them. Rome, you rock... dirty headz following suit....

These two bands rocked the house! A part from seeing them in the 90s they rocked as good now as I imagine they would've back then =)

Loved this show!! The Offspring was killer, played all the classics but Sublime......SUBLIME WAS EXACTLY WHAT I HOPED FOR!!! This is reliving my childhood and I had high expectations. They sounded EXACTLY like the CD's despite it not being the same singer! I was blown away! They of course played all their hits and it was amazing!

Offspring=old Sublime played no new hits at all!!

Outstanding show on point and rocked us out. Loved the opening band Menzingers. Sounded like Mooseblood. Loved the venue can not wait till the next Offspring show 4th time seeing them this year!!!!

Seeing both these bands live was fantastic! My husband and I both loved that it was outdoors and how well it seemed to be coordinated. Th only part that sucked was how long the line was, but that was our fault because of what time we got there.

Music sounded good. Voices were hard to make out at times.

We loved it and had a blast! It would go to another one for sure

Unfortunately Sublime disappointed, felt like their set was rushed and didn t perform enough songs. The Offspring however, definitely made up for it. Line looked long but moved very quickly! Outdoor event was perfect in this weather.

This was the worst show I've been to in a long time. The sound quality was AWFUL. it was not loud (which is one reason I don't enjoy going to the shoreline that much), I understand that on the lawn might not be the best area to sit, but I"ve been going to this venue for a very long time. The Sublime show sound quality was the worst I've ever heard at the shoreline. You could not understand or hear the vocals well, it was super bassy. it just sounded like really bad music and I don't think it was the band. Waste of time.

When I saw "The Offspring" on Ticketmaster I jumped on the ticket!! I LOVE The Offspring!! My ticket said "The Offspring" too, but when I went to the concert Sublime was the head liner. The Offspring played for about 75 minutes which I ROCKED with them, but then Sublime came on. I was SOOOO happy to see the boys of The Offspring rocking it out, but I would have loved it even more if they had been rocking it longer. I think they could pull a stadium full if they head lined. I know I would be there!

I was hopeful to include a review of the Menzingers as well as Sublime with Rome and the Offspring, but thankfully it took better than 45 minutes to get in the venue, so I only somewhat heard them from the parking lot. The Offspring were fantastic (20 year wait to see them and my only regret is not seeing them sooner...). Sublime with Rome is entertaining. I will NEVER pay to see a show at Freedom Hill again though. Piss poor venue cashing in on concert goers.

Bought tickets to see Sublime with Romeo without knowing who else was playing. Like most people I never got to see Sublime with Bradley (he ODed when I was still in high school) so I figured it would be awesome since I wouldn't be comparing the two. I was mistaken. Offspring should have been the headliner and Sublime with Romeo should have opened for them. The Offspring played all of their best and had great charisma and banter with the crowd. Thw whole place was bouncing and singing along with every song. Sublime had horrible sound. You couldn't hear the vocal tracks and the low end was excessive. They looked like they were having fun but that doesn't always make a good show. I understand that most of the songs written by Bradley have a lot of personal references that might not apply to Romeo, but as a replacement singer it kind of limits how many of those great songs he gets to sing. They hardly touched any of the classics and their set was shorter than the Offspring. Still a pretty damn good show and I do like the venue. I would recommend getting seats as the grass general admission is very high and holds about 3000, where as the seating is nice and roomy (with cupholders!) and holds 4500. Almost like the reverse of DTE (or Pine Knob as it will always be to me).

The sound on the main stage was awful. We showed up for Sublime, and couldn't even watch. Please fix the sound. The band seemed good, but the sound was bad.

The venue was great! They were quick to get us in the door. The Offspring and Sublime with Rome killed it!

All of the bands were GREAT! (One exception) Reel Big fish put on a very entertaining show, Golfinger was great! The Urge were energetic and put on a fantastic show. The Offspring were amazing and sounded perfect! Sublime - No comment

I am a BIG Sublime &/W Rome fan. We plunked down big bucks for great seats at Freedom Hill, Sterling Heights, MI. Unfortunately, my wife and I had to leave 4-5 songs into the Sublime set. The Bass guitar was so unpleasantly overpowering and distorted it ruined the show. You couldn't even hear Rome singing. We were so absolutely bummed. My wife and I were among dozens we saw exiting that EARLY in the show, my wife heard ladies complaining in the restroom of same reason. Many were complaining of the same thing on the way out of the venue to me too (on a Saturday night no less!). I go to probably 3-6 Rock concerts a year for the last 20+ years. This is the FIRST time I have EVER left a show early. AGAIN I am a BIG fan of SUBLIME and was jazzed to see them. But that is really all I got to do. The distorted bass was all I could hear or take. They need to fire their sound guy, as he ruined a night I have been looking forward to for years. The Offspring wasn't who I paid to see, but they sounded good (so it wasn't the venue or seats causing the sound issue). The venue was good, the sound sucked! I assume not Freedom Hills fault.

The offspring was awesome. They had great energy and kept the crowd engaged. The Sublime with Rome closed at the show. I wish The Offspring would have closed the show. They had more energy and were more entertaining than Sublime with Rome.

Great show. Both bands were excellent. The lawn was fine, not too crowded.

This was my first visit to this venue and it was pretty decent! Smaller merch area but decent. The show was pretty great! The seating was good and the staff was super helpful! The Meizngers, The offspring and Sublime put on a killer show! Thanks for coming to sterling heights!

Great show, amazing music, love the smaller outdoor venue! The lines were longer than any other show I've been to here, maybe more staff is needed.

The show was awesome, but I wish Sublime had opened for The Offspring instead of the other way around.

We had so much fun at this show. The venue was fantastic and it was a good group of people. Would definitely return for more events here.

Offspring had a great show, Sublime was a sleeper and I have no plans to ever go see them again.

The Offspring were amazing, the sound was great and so was the energy. I don't know if the sound producers changed between bands but when Sublime with Rome came on the music sounded great but you couldn't hear a word of the lyrics. It was muffled and the volume was so low if you didn't know songs by the beat of the music you would have had no idea what he was singing. I was very disappointed with Sublime with Rome. We went with friends that have seen them in the past at Freedom Hill and said it was significantly better other times. We may give it another shot next time they come back, but probably not.

The Offspring was simply awesome. Sublime was simply blah.

Whoever was responsible for Sublime's sound system dropped the ball. The spund was so distorted some songs were barely recognizable. Cringe worthy.

Not a big Sublume fan and went to see the Offspring. The concert was great the only problem was that the vocals for both seemed flat and few times you could not hear them, sound board/speaker issue

Many thought it was not a good concert. However, I loved it going into it with realistic expectations. That why it was titled Sublime with Rome, and not just Sublime. I mean the original singer is deceased so I don't understand what the haters expected. I felt that they rocked!!

Sublime with Rome did an amazing show. It was my first concert ive been to and enjoyed every minute. Would deff go again!
