I missed seeing the Doobies in the 70's and regretted it ever since. The guys can still rock and the voices of Tom and Patrick still got it going on! The Eagles are second only to the Beatles in my book so this concert was an experience I will never forget! I have always respected bands with multiples lead vocals, multiple writers, and multiples front men...and the boys did not let me down in any of those areas. Harmonies extraordinaire...right up there with Brian Wilson arrangements and of course the Beatles. Don...one day I'd like to sing a duet with you.....maybe If I Fell....I'll take John's part, thank you!

The Doobie Brothers were amazing, we used to listen to them when we went cruising. I thought it was a little bit slow in the beginning but, man, they rocked. The Eagles are my all time favourite. This was #5, but who would have thought Vince Gill? He was fantastic and totally fit right in, and Deacon, was every bit his father's son. His Daddy would have been so proud. I just wanted to give him a hug. Don Henley, Timothy B., and Joe Walsh are just so totally amazing. We came from New Mexico and would go further to see them. There's no words to describe how great they are.

It was like listening to the old albums. It took me back to being a young child, riding in the car with my mom as she listened to the Doobie Brothers and the Eagles on the radio. I would highly recommend this show if you are a fan of either of these bands. Well worth the money spent!

What a tremendous night; our seats were great, the sound was unbelievable and the Eagles were phenomenal! I enjoyed the Doobie bros although some of their tunes were a little rough as the band has gotten older.... The Eagles did such a fantastic job with the additions of Deacon Frey, who absolutely did a fantastic rendition of his Fathers music and to have Vince Gil as the vocalist on numerous other "Glen-led" tunes was crazy awesome!!

Very enjoyable concert. Both the Doobie Brothers and Eagles put on great shows. They played all the songs that I wanted to hear. Sound was good. Doobies played for about 75 to 80 minutes. Eagles played for ~135 minutes. The venue was well prepared for the packed house. The good seats were expensive but worth it in the end.

The Eagles and the Doobie Brothers have been my husbands favorite band since their first recordings. He s played their music for years and our children have grown up with that music. Now they have teens who also have heard the music. At the urging of my daughter we all went and had a blast. The music was sensational. We heard all of our favorites. Safeco was a perfect venue sitting there looking at the huge stage and seeing the beautiful skyline of Seattle behind. Both bands can still rock it! What a night!

This show was an amazing experience. I have been to many concerts in my life but never got a chance to see the Eagles before. What an incredible experience! It was like a tribute, a memorial and a showcase of each individual members talents. Vince Gill and Deacon Frye did amazing at filling in for the recently passed Glenn Frye. This will go down as one of those unforgettable experiences for me. I cheered, I cried, I sang my heart out with the crowd. Thank you Eagles for coming to the NW! Doobie Brothers we're great too!

Eagles were awesome. Venue was really good, with only the distance from the stage a little hard, but not a surprise. Played a great representation of their hits, plus some Joe Walsh numbers he lead. Son of Glen Frey was great to see, and Vince Gill fit in well. Closing of Hotel California and Desperado was an awesome send off.

The Doobie Brothers and Eagles were amazing. What was so moving for me was that I spent most of the concert reliving so many wonderful experiences as only bands like the Doobies and Eagles can resurrect for us. It was so touching to have Glenn Frey's son part of the mix and Vince Gill was an extremely pleasant addition to the band. I found myself often times during the night breaking into an uncontrollable smile - but one that only I could personally experience as each song touched my inner core. That was true for both bands. On a more emotional note, the personal impact of the concert was still fresh when I awoke the next day to the horrors of the Las Vegas attacks. What I will always try and do is to remind myself that the joys of a classic rock concert and the people who attended it, are clearly the way people truly are. While we can't understate the horrors that some people seem to want to use to define our world, we must remember that so much of society and so much of what we are is good. Bless all those who have been impacted by the tragedies of Las Vegas and bless those who constantly rise to the occasion to help and support their fellow humans; whether it be for floods, hurricanes, wildfires, disasters and yes...classic rock concerts.

The Doobie Brothers put on a great show. The guitar plays were amazing. I didn't listen to the band's music when they were at their top of popularity and didn't know most of the songs. But I still enjoyed their performance. Eagles were amazing with the singing and guitars. They knew how to put on a live show. Glenn Frey's son, Deacon, did an fantastic job. Vince Gill was an added surprise. Both performed like they played with band for decades. Don Henley was great! As were all the members. I did find the light show and video on the huge screens distracting. Quite often it overwhelmed the performers. Overall, it was an amazing show in a great venue.

Excellent concert. The Classic Northwest featuring Eagles and Doobie Brothers. Love a concert where you can sing every song of the Eagles and most every song from the Doobie Brothers. Purchased 2 Eagles t-shirts and the Hoodie. Purchased the Doobie Brothers t-shirt but didn't notice until I got home it was their 2017 Tour shirt and does not have Seattle on it, so I'll try and sell it on ebay. I'll pay better attention next time. Over all had a great time took my Son with me.

Safeco Field was a great venue for this concert. The roof was open on both ends so there was a slight breeze to keep us cool as we danced to the sounds of Angles for 4 glorious hours!. Thank you Doobie Bros. and Eagles for including us on your tour. We traveled from Alaska to see you-a lifelong dream come true and a week later, I'm still singing:) Deacon and Vince did a marvelous job of gifting voice to Glenn's songs, bringing tears to my eyes. It was surreal to see the greatest band on earth. I so enjoyed singing along in person and watching the band feel their own sounds-Joe Walsh's expressions were priceless-he really knows how to wow a crowd. I love you all and will keep you in my prayers as you keep on keep'in on. I will make an effort to see you againI!! 've decided Deacon needs to meet my daughter-they'd make the cutest couple! lol

Great music from both Eagles (although surprisingly Joe Walsh solo efforts-heavy) and the Doobie Brothers (great set list!). The venue was great. But the ushers in our sections on the floor had little to no knowledge of where the closest food was, etc. They pointed out the porta-potties, but they were also in plain view. I recognize that many of these workers are spending their first time on the job, but I expected them to be better prepped. Otherwise, great show!

The Doobie Brothers were great warm ups, but this night belonged to the Eagles. They churned hit after hit. The crowd singing along to each song. Glenn Frey's son Deacon did a fantastic job on his father's songs. Made the hair on my neck stand up. Vince Gill is also a great add to this band. He fits perfectly. I highly recommend this show if it makes it to your town. It's worth every penny. Hands down one of the best concerts I've been to in my life

I was really looking forward to this concert and was not disappointed. I was completely taken by surprise when the Eagles announced that Vince Gill was performing with them (I was watching from the 300 level so didn't see him on stage at first), and Vince knocked it out of the park on every song he was lead on. Glenn Frey's son was also excellent, he sounded just like his dad. I was completely blown away when Joe Walsh came out and slayed the lead guitar part on one song. The music went another direction after that and it got even more awesome! It was the concert of the year in my opinion.

Loved the Doobie Brothers! Tom Johnston's powerhouse vocals perfectly pitched, and his energy was contagious with the almost too perfect backing harmonies. We sat in the front so the sound was great, felt the drums vibrating in my chest, and it was awesome to see all the details I miss from sitting so far away, like the band banter and changing of guitars. This is my fifth Eagles concert since they got back together, and I must say this is the freshest I've seen them. As much as I love Glen Frey, I've always felt they played too safe, too perfect. The addition of Vince Gill and Deacon Frey gave the Eagles much need levity. Although, their voices are all aging, they still sound amazing. And seeing Joe Walsh wearing his old iconic 70's mustache was cool. At first, I was blown away with the power of Joe's vocals, and wondered how a guy in his 70's could still sing that good, that is until heard his voice singing before he made it back the mike. I think the Eagles may be guilty of using backing tracks and mike enhancements like the younger bands do. I don't fault them for it, since they're getting older, but I think they're hypocrites for calling other musicians out on it.

Both the Doobie Brothers and the Eagles played great and it was a fantastic show. BUT, the PA was terrible. The low end was very muddy. Vocals were very hard to understand. Some instruments were not in the mix or at such a low level, they hardly could be heard. The musician's played their hearts out and the sound crew ruined it. We saw Tom Petty (RIP) just 5 weeks ago and Tom's PA was album perfect - clear as a bell - so it was not the venue, just a bad sound crew/PA equipment.

The Doobie Brothers was so much fun to watch and listen to. With the passing of Glen Fry of the Eagles it was so emotional to have his son sing a few songs, which he did great and at times you could hear some of his fathers voice. The Eagles band was spot on with everything, "Singing, Playing, Horn and String sections". Our 17yr old brought a friend and it was so neat for them to see and the different instruments and style of songs (Ballards, Hard Rock, Soft Rock, etc). The only issue I have is we wished that they would have displayed the Eagles band playing on the Big Screens more, instead of misc. pictures/videos. When your in a large stadium it allows everyone to view the band, because at one time when they showed the band on the big screen playing again the crowd cheered, but unfortunately the person(s) in charge didn't recognize the reaction. Should have done what Tom Petty and the Doobie Brothers did.

I was shocked that the concert actually started on time. Kudos to The Doobie Brothers! Both they and The Eagles put on a fantastic show, playing most of the tunes that we wanted to hear. The effects, laser lights and video for the Eagles were excellent; though the sound was marginal...very muddy lows, so band member's dialog and spoken words were nearly impossible to understand. The sound for the Paul McCartney show a few years ago was far better. Our seats were great...even up in the third deck. We'll likely return for another concert, but the sound really needs to improve. And finally...don't you come to a concert to hear the band or bands? Yes? Then SHUT UP and (as the Doobie Brothers said) "Listen To The Music". "The Music Is The Doctor". The folks behind us talked their way through half the show! Singing along is fine; talking is not!

Good Concert. I would have like to hear the Doobie Brothers play South City Midnight Lady, but otherwise all good. Eagles were well blended, and all the usual hits but very well done Vince Gill was a great addition along with Deacon. Overall, the singing was on key, and the instruments were on time (musician myself) and I very much enjoyed the show. I liked "taking it to the streets" as it applies today as it did years ago. A little rough on the sax timing for coming in, but when it was the sax's time. All are in good shape for being just a few years older than me and for doing what they did for the entire concert - well done! Would I see the show again, yes. Part for the music, part for it was just very well played.

Although we thought we had really great seats we were a bit dismayed how far back we were from the stage. However, the technical professionals did a great job in creating a fanatastic job in the video magnification and made one feel so much closer and therefore more into the performance. Although. Both groups i.e. Doobie Brothers and Eagles were really good, I believe the Eagles stole the show. Deacon Frey did and amazing job and I think his Daady would be proud. Vince Gill is always amazing and I think he melded well and brought a slightly different melodic contribution to the group. Rock on Eagles!!! JTK

It was awesome to see the Eagles once again after the death of Glenn Frey. (We miss him so much!) We've been fans of the Eagles since the early 70's. It was great to be among others with the same dedication. Vince Gil and Deacon Frey are both incredible additions to the Eagles. Don Henley, Timothy Schmidt & Joe Walsh were "on point" as usual. Enjoyed this show very much. The Eagles never disappoint their fans. The whole stadium sang along to every song. Vince Gill & Deacon Frey did a great job filling in for Glenn. The band sounded fantastic !! Don, Joe & Timothy along with a stage full of talented musicians including Steuart Smith on guitar. Set list (23 songs) was spot on spanning the catalog of songs everybody knows & loves. A night to remember for sure......................

Doobie Brothers were great, loved hearing them. Eagles are by far one of the best performing bands EVER. They sound as good now as they did back in the day. Deacon Frey is amazing and a wonderful tribute to his dad and the band. The addition of Vince Gill as well, what an honor, and both Vince and Deacon add amazing talent to the group. I hope they all keep playing as long as they can. They bring joy to so many people.

The bands were great - they played all the good songs. However, being to the left of the stage (lower section down left field line), there was a stage column blocking the center of the right video screen, the center video screen was set a little too far back as it was partially blocked by the left video screen, and the left video screen was set so the screens weren't even with each other so we couldn't get a good view of that screen either. The main complaint is that all info found online said still cameras would be allowed (I have a small point-and-shoot). However when we entered the gate security said no still cameras were allowed. I had to walk the 1-1/2 miles round trip back to the car to leave the camera in the car. All cellphones were allowed, and generally all of the new ones have better zoom and more pixels than my point-and-shoot, so what was the point of not allowing cameras? So my cellphone pictures aren't good enough to upload, and no video to upload either...

Venue was nearly sold out (40k people), but WAY TOO BIG to be able to actually see either group. Paid quite a bit for tickets, view of ant sized performers blocked by towers for speakers. Was able to get down on the floor to get closer. Much better. Deacon Frye and Vince Gill are great additions, recovering from the loss of Glenn Frye. Music was good, but Doobie Bros didn't really wake up the crowd - no great, outstanding "extras" given the guitar talent on stage, but still good. Audience sang along for the entire show.

Was really excited for this concert, but they should have had someone smaller open for the Doobie Brothers, the crowd was not ready and the acoustics were terrible. The acoustics were a little better for the Eagles but not by much. There were NO BEER vendors going through the aisles, only churro vendors really Safeco Field? This was an adult event why were there no beer guys? Probably as a result the concourse was more packed than I've ever seen it for a Mariners game and beer lines were super long yet the stadium wasn't that full and there was constantly people going up and down the aisles. I would see the Eagles again but I do not think I'll ever see a concert at Safeco Field again.

The show was awesome, great stage presents and amazing songs. I loved the celebrity stand ins and Glen Frye's son. My only complaint was the sound quality was not superb and it was hard to get alcoholic drinks.

Sound quality for Doobie Brothers was fair to poor. Better for the Eagles, but still hard to distinguish individual instruments. Roof being closed may have contributed. Don Henley and Timothy B Schmidt not in best voice. Vince Gill vocals amazing, Joe Walsh ageless and in great form both vocally and on guitar. Deacon Frey a solid addition and sang well. Great visuals, new arrangement for Witchy Woman awesome, personal favorite was Those Shoes-band and vocal top notch. Still a world-class band with an AMAZING song category. Might be better in a smaller/indoor venue.

I have no idea who decided to pair up the Doobie Brothers with the Eagles (without Glen Frey) because there was a real disconnect between the Doobies and their 70's Pop with the venerable and classic music that comes from the album after album of hit songs by the Eagles. Even though I'm not a big Doobie Bros fan, they truly did their famous songs with enthusiasm and precision and were better than you'd expect from a 70's band that kinda stopped... The Eagles were fantastic (of course), but Glen's son Deacon is NOT his father, and will take years to learn just how hard it is to fill the shoes left behind by his dad. He did good versions of several songs and he did them well...but Glen's voice and harmonies were missed. The first half of their set seemed to be phoned in until Joe Walsh did a set of 3-4 songs that absolutely rocked. After that, the band picked up and they ended with a rousing version of Hotel Cali and then Desperado... This is the 15th time I've seen them over the years, and they are truly a class act, with the best music out of the 70's I can think of...

I'm a big Eagles fan and the addition of Vince Gill to fill in for Glenn Frey was a great idea. Deacon Frey was good but not as comfortable as the rest of the band. They've been at it for a long time. Biggest regret--going to Safeco Field for a concert. It's a baseball stadium and is a poor venue for a concert.

Doobie's rocked; Eagles sounded awesome with Deacon and Vince. Deacon looks SO MUCH like Glenn at that age! Everyone's vocals were strong and music was great! Can't wait to see them in Louisville this month!

It was my first time to see the Doobie Bros. and second time to see Eagles. Have been a HUGE fan of Eagles since the 70's....would definitely go see them again! Nobody can ever replace Glenn Frey, but Deacon Frey and Vince Gill did a great job!!! The Doobie Bros. put on a really good show, too!

The Eagles put on a great show ! The sound system for the Doobie Brothers however was flat out bad. The sound from our seats was garbled throughout their set and fortunately was much better for The Eagles. I am no audio expert and not sure what happened, but the sound was not clear and painful at times to listen to the Doobie Brothers. I realize that the acoustics at the Safeco Field are not ideal, but the sound for The Eagles was so much clearer than the Doobies. It was a shame because the Doobie's played with great effort & enthusiasm. Seats were in lower bowl section 144 row 15.

I highly recommend you see the Eagles should you ever get the chance to. Put them on your bucket list and enjoy a night on the town. One of my best concert events ever. They played all the hits and then some.

It was bittersweet without Glenn Frey but he had to be smiling from the Heavens that his boy Deacon has filled his shoes so perfectly!!! What a show... I need a repeat!! Don, Joe, Tim & Vince sounded great... Glenn will forever be missed but these guys together, pretty close to amazing!!!

The Eagles were awesome. They gave a great 2 hour performance with the audience singing along and dancing in the isles. The Doobie Brothers not so much. The audio was awful!!! Most of the songs sounded the same with loud noise blanking out the melody and voice of the singer. The drummer was all that came through.
