John Mulaney

I love John Mulaney with all my being and I am so incredibly glad I got to see him live. He lives up to the hype live and I cannot waaait to see the show on Netflix. Will pay ANY amount to sit front row at the next time he s in town. Totally worth it.

John Mulaney has to be one of the best comic minds of our time. His show was a joy from beginning to end. I was so glad to have been there.

Laughed the entire show, he never hit a dead spot. The 9 month wait when I bought the tickets back in June was dreadful, but well worth it. He came back out with an encore & performed my favorite joke of his, The Salt and Pepper Diner. I can't wait to see him again!

Great show start to finish. He is just as talented as many of the bigger names charging three times as much as him. Definitely worth going to if you have the opportunity.

The show was extremely funny. The MC plus two comedians helped warm up the stage and each was uniquely funny. John started a little slow, but once he got comfortable on stage with the audience, the laughs just kept rolling!

The symphony hall was an amazing venue because it was small enough where every seat had a good view. John Mulaney never disappoints and was excellent as well as his opener. There was a problem with excesssive drinking with the people who sat in front of us. It was distracting to everyone around.

Mulaney is surely one of the best comics out there. His creative, intelligent storytelling and unique delivery make for a hilarious show. Go see him!

I've seen some of the comic greats, and this was one of the top 5 funniest shows I've ever seen. We left rubbing our faces because they hurt after laughing so hard for nearly two hours! Thanks John Mulaney!

John Mulaney was of course hilarious, and even his opener was very entertaining too. The only negative thing was the venue. I d never been to Comerica before, and it was so...cheap? Just not an attractive building.

John Mulaney is hilarious! He has a gift for story telling. His ability to weave in and out is uncanny. His improv was great too. He spent the first 10 minutes coming up with the funniest anecdotes about the Genesee theater. His show ran about 75 minutes and I didn t want it to end. I would go see John Mulaney again in a heartbeat.

Loved listening to his albums and watching him on TV. Also loved him as a writer for SNL. But seeing him live raised my view of him to a higher level - he s not only hilarious, but he is a master performer. He was the most active I ve seen him. Loved his analogy of a horse in the hospital like Trump in the White House - perfect!! And he even had jokes about the theater, which aren t a part of his planned routine. Loooooved this show!!!!

I really enjoy going to comedy shows and John Mulaney s 85 minutes on stage was by far my favorite of any show I ve been to. My sister and I were laughing so hard throughout. Amazing job, John!!

Had an awesome time. The venue was fantastic. Comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. John mulaney is hilarious and put on a great show. Looking forward to seeing him again ASAP. If I had one complaint it would be leaving the theater is not very convienent. Took a while for everyone to file out. It was worth it though.

I'd bought these tickets as soon as I found out he'd be performing in my area, and I don't regret it for a second. None of this man's jokes fell flat. Each story built up until you were crying of laughter, and the segways into the next were pretty smooth too. In all honesty, that night was like a blur of amazing stories, metaphors, and laughs. The opening acts weren't bad either!

The entire venue was packed for the last of 7 sold out shows. The staff was very efficient with the entry as the line was a city block long to get in. We enjoyed the opening acts which lasted a total of 30 minutes. John Mulaney was entertaining throughout - funny, topical, and well paced. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening!

I was not a John Mulaney fan before the show BUT, after watching him perform this time I truly think he's amazing. The tickets were also easier to get here then on other sites. The seats were great and worth the price I paid.

I loved every second of this show. He s truly hilarious and has me scream-laughing the whole time. He also did a phenomenal job picking an opener that matched his style well. Having the musician who composed the music for Magnolia, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Lady Bird there performing in the fantastic Radio City Music Hall was a fabulous touch. He was very talented and made the music funny. I love love loved the entire experience, I would highly recommend him.

I drove 5.5 hours with my daughter to come see John Mullaney..tickets were one of her Christmas presents..completely worth it

This was my first time seeing John Mulaney and seeing a show at the Ryman, both were amazing!!!!

I've seen his stand ups but he is great live. The only thing I would say is that our seater didn't show us to our box seat and there was already someone in our seats (seat 1 and 2). But the venue in itself doesn't have a bad seat. I would definitely go see him again

DAR Constitution Hall was a great venue! John Mulaney and his opener, Max Silvestri, were both hilarious.

Starting with Max Sylvestry and finishing with John Delaney, it was a very entertaining night in a wonderful venue.

jJohn has just gotten better with age. This is the third time I have seen his stand up live. I truly think his Broadway debut has helped him be an even better stand up comic. The delivery is hilarious and enthusiastic. The jokes are... simply put... out of this world. So clever. I love this guy.

John Mulaney is hands down the funniest man alive. He made his performance unique by including things about Idaho and even heckling a lady who had to leave momentarily. His tangents were just as funny as what his scripted comedy to the point where I didn't know what was improvised and what wasn't. His set was absolutely flawless and I could not recommend it more. It was a PERFECT date.

I've loved John Mulaney for a long time & go around quoting him, nearly on a daily basis. I was beyond thrilled when tickets went on sale. The day it happened I literally sat there refreshing my page until tickets were officially for sale then I pounced. It was a small venue, which was perfect to have that intimacy. We were in the 4th row, dead center. I was really expecting a lot of the jokes I'd heard before because every comedian I've seen at least once has had some repeats. Not Mulaney! Not a single joke was one I'd heard on TV! And they were all just as hilarious and perfect! I laughed ridiculously hard the whole time! Money SO well spent.

The Chicago Theater is an amazing facility and the show was great. John Mulaney is a fantastic comedian and I'm glad that we got to sit in on the taped show for his next special. Also, sitting in a box seat (even though it was the highest box) made our group feel special for our big night out.

John was hysterical! He was very interactive with the croud. He had high energy the entire time. He talked about marriage, buying his first home and temporary jobs. All of his jokes were delivered his is classic style with voices and movements. Even his opener Joe was a perfect fit. I loved every minute of it and I can only hope he will be back. If you can see him do it you will NOT be disappointed.

Excellent from beginning to end. Great story teller. Wonderful stage presence. My teenager loved it (16yo) as did my husband and I...in our late 40's. Good stuff...I'd go see him again!

My son is a fan and I had not heard of John Mulaney prior to this event, but he was hilarious! I laughed so much my abs were sore the next day! I am an instant fan!

I love this guy. Always hard to believe he's over 30. He has a baby face. And all the good jokes.

He was impeccable! I laughed throughout the whole show. I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard a couple times. I've seen and heard a lot of his stuff and this was all, new never repeats his past work. Overall hilarious and presents himself well. Really captivates his audience. Was able to see him after the show and he is a sweetheart and gentleman. My favorite comedian at the moment.

I had front row tickets to John Mulaney. My friend and I did not stop laughing throughout the entire performance (even when he wasn't talking we were still laughing). This was probably his best special so far and everyone should watch it on Netflix (out now)!!!! My friend and I were laughing so hard at one joke that John started to laugh. He was actually interacting with the audience a lot so don't be an asshole and show up late or leave in the middle of it. I will definitely be back to see his next tour whenever it comes out. This show was the best hour and a half in my life because it was so unbelievably funny. By the end of the show I couldn't even laugh anymore--I started wheezing. John is amazing and everyone should watch his specials on Netflix.

He lacked enthusiasm. Complained a lot about people getting up during performance and using the bathroom. People tend to drink during a night out, not sure if he knows that. Both he and his opener had a bit about body changing as we get older, so I thought it was hypocritical to dog people for getting up to take a leak as the bladder changes quite a bit from the teenage years to the 30's and beyond. He clearly was frustrated about that, but the rate was really not out of the ordinary. The more he talked about it though, the more I felt I had to go myself, which I did. Anyway, the show was toward the end of the tour so maybe he was just sick of saying the same jokes, I don't know, but I wouldn't bother seeing him again. His presence on stage was the same as it has been on all the shows he's been on promoting "Kid Gorgeous". He gave away half his material on SNL and other shows, so basically exposure overload. I'd rather go in fresh than be able to know where he is going with the material. He made a joke about Florida and its people but didn't hit home. Clearly didn't know the current demographics of Florida today (South America). He seemed to go off of what the population consisted of in the '70's really, old retired folk and I think he threw Alligators in there too (Ya, OK). The comedian who opened was unwatchable and awkward, and the way he spoke was way too close to Mulaney (both in style and speech), I don't know if by design, but that's a bad call. Mulaneyesq overload by the time the comic I went to see actually got on stage.

The wait for John M to swing by South Florida was well worth the wait. If you've seen any of his special or are a fan of his, or comedy in general, I highly recommend seeing him live.

The show was so much fun. I laughed until my cheeks hurt. His commentary about the audience really highlighted how funny he was on the spot. Some of the jokes were used on SNL or other talk show interviews, so they were not "new" but they were still funny the second time around. His opener was also great. Would see him a third time!

While I didn't love the opening act (I can't remember the comedian's name) I was very happy with John Mulaney's performance. It was everything I expected and I would recommend this event. I think even someone who wasn't familiar with Mulaney's brand of comedy would still enjoy it!

Venue was great. Performance was great. Everyone in the audience was clearly a longtime John Mulaney fan, which was a lot of fun to be a part of. On top of that all, ticket prices were so cheap (granted I bought them six months ago)! What an amazing experience!

Chicago theater as always a beauty. Lines weren't too bad. Thankfully opened a side door when it got close to show time and outside line was still very long. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Most seats you can see very well. Parking is expensive though. Both comedians were very funny and entertaining.

John Mulaney was awesome and so was his opener - definitely worth purchasing tickets!! I'm not big into stand up comedy, so I had never heard of John Mulaney; however, he is my boyfriend's favorite comedian so I bought him tickets back in August as a present - not only was it his favorite Christmas present but he loved the show! I also loved it and I would definitely purchase tickets again. Again, TOTALLY worth it!!!

Mulaney is by far my favorite comedian! All his material is so relatable, fresh, and hilarious. I had the best night seeing him perform. A must see!

John Mulaney's demeanor is still that of the "boy next door". His stories...are your stories...or that of someone you know. Which makes it even funnier! Not only can you imagine him in the scenarios he has created ...but you can see yourself or others in similar situations. He even managed to touch taboo subjects without offending anyone! Not an easy thing to do! His opening act was funny and definitely warmed up the audience and John left the audience wanting more at the end from both him and his friend after the encore. GREAT SHOW!

Hands down one of the best comedy shows I've seen! John Mulaney's combination of awkward family truths and pokes at the current president are OUTSTANDING. 100% will be quoting this show for the next month!

John Mulaney was hilarious (as we expected). He delivered some great jokes with his kind of awkward style, heckled a crowd member (very mildly) who was a bit awkward and overzealous in their cheering as well, and just all around gave a great show. The opener, Max Silvestri, was very entertaining and really fit in with Mulaney's style, so I think it was a great match (I'm looking forward to seeing more from him). Mulaney did a great encore with a local drummer that included one of my favorite bits of his. Overall, it was an amazing show that exceeded expectations, and I would definitely see him again on his next tour!

Laughed harder than I have in longer than I can remember. The humor was smart and funny and the delivery was exceptional.

This is the 2nd time seeing him in person. However, I've been following him for a few years after finding him on Comedy Radio on Pandora. He does NOT disappoint! I will definitely see him again!

John Mulaney was awesome! The Chicago Theater is awesome! My daughter and I enjoyed it tremendously! Comeback Kid was more relate-able for my daughter and this show was more fun for me. Wish he talked more about Petunia (we love Petunia!) but over all it was a great show. He did an encore with his friend, the drummer (I forgot his name), who is an amazing musician. Would have loved it if he did a ten minute drum solo. But was sweet to include his buddy and it added to the hometown, down to earth feel that you get with John Mulaney.

I'm always afraid of the opening act, because the headliner never wants the opening act to b better. The opening act was very good, very funny. I had bought these tickets for my Husband and was not very familiar with John. He made a new fan that night. Great show!!

We were worried the show would stink with a not so funny warm-up comedian and - yes, it's true - an organ player that preceded John Mulaney. Thankfully, they were not indicators of the show. John Mulaney did a great job. He maintained high energy throughout the show and his timing was impeccable. We would definitely see him again.

What can I say??!! He was gorgeous and hilarious!!

I believe I've seen Mulaney every time he's been around the New York area since 2013, and I have to say he keeps going from strength to strength. His content may be getting slightly edgier, if that's even the right word for it, but his charm and delivery have it come at the same hilarious level his fans will be used to. His bits about his dad have only gotten stronger, his stories from childhood and college continue to delight, and if I had to complain about anything it would be no mention of his first communion suit, but it's totally possible I may have missed it if it was there because I was laughing so hard.

I was visiting NYC for a birthday trip and lucked out in the planning process when I saw Mulaney would be doing a show at Radio City. It was an incredible and iconic venue and a wonderful program. Mulaney did not disappoint. Love his humor and ability to deliver to the audience. A M A Z I N G!
