If you worry about whether The Commodores still have what it takes to command your interest, attention, and attendance, DON'T. I saw the band back in their hey-day with the original line-up when they were tearing up the charts with every single release. Now more than thirty years later, those songs still sound fresh has The Commodores roll on with two original members and the unbelievable catalog of hits that will have you dancing in the aisle while jogging down memory lane. And having the original voice behind "Brick House" at the party didn't hurt! And speaking of party, the Beau Rivage was the perfect place for us to enjoy an intimate yet electric evening with this legendary group. The Commodores brought an A game that made revisiting so many songs from the soundtrack of my life the perfect way to not only spend an evening, but celebrate my 50th birthday. It's good to see these guys still on the road, something I remain inspired to do myself!!!

During some of the announcements, they stated that a few of the group were original members and have been performing together for 48 years. Truly amazing! They danced and played on stage in what was a truly memorable night. They played so many great songs. Such a fun evening. Venue was excellent. Sound was fantastic.

Took my wife for a romantic weekend getaway to Las Vegas and let's just say it was a complete blast. The Commodores concert was the icing on the cake for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and really appreciated that they kept the jams comin from start to finish. And the finale (Brick House) blew the roof off the house. First time we've ever saw them live and I know we will see them again. Believe That :)

I thought the concert was fairly good. Considering that I had not seen them since Lionel Ritchie left the group. I was really not interested in attending once he left. But I am really glad that I went. It was pretty good. I was just a little disappointed that they didn't sing my all time favorite Commodores song "ZOOM". But outside of that the concert was good.

It's really impressive of the quality of performance that these guys provide. My wife and I first saw them (our first date) back in October 17, 1981 in Tucson Az, and to see them again after all the years, plus the performance is unbelivable... very energetic and entertaining as well as the great music and songs that we have heard through out the years. I would deffinitely see them again.

Not a thing was missing from this show. Great Songs by Amazing Artists. My 10 year old daughter even shook King and Nicholis's hands :) and danced her butt off to Lady and of course Brickhouse. I've always wanted to see these guys and was sooo looking forward to this show. Catch them at the NYS Fair later this summer if you missed this show. They were "MIGHTY MIGHTY"! Also the MEAN MACHINE ROCKED!!!

What a night! The Commodores are just amazing musicians and performers. They engage with their fans, tell great stories, and brilliantly play their memorable music. Only drawback was that the venue - which is a great one - is a pain about recording with phones. Their constant nagging was a distraction and a nuisance.

The sound was not the best, in part due the the band was not complete. There was no horn section. The Commodores sound is unique and without the horn section I thought they were not what I know what they sound like. I think the band knew that and tried to entertain us as best they could knowing the band was not complete. I expected a better sound. To me I think the mailed this show in.

I was very disappointed with the Commadores concert. Instead of just singing their songs they spent a lot of their time either getting the audience to participate or talking to the audience thru the song therefore stretching the song. They started late & ended 1 & 1/2 hrs later. They may have played 10 songs in that time frame which lasted much longer due to all the adlibing they did. I recommend you not waste your money seeing them.

We did not like this concert. We left early. The music was very electric, and was very loud. We went to hear a 60's band type music, and were sorely disappointed. As one of the Commadores said at the concert...."you can't go back to the 60's, so we are going to introduce you a new style..... (or something like that)...... At that point, we left. We went to hear the music that had made them famous, and they played everything but that....

Really, really good. All singers were excellent. Audience enjoyed group. They personalized the experience by having people great their own neighbors in their seats. They invited people up to the front near the stage. Wish they had done Brick House earlier. I would have listened to it twice, once in the beginning and once at the end.

Left after six songs. Had heard of only one of the six. Was expecting all-time good songs and got nothing. Will not believe promotion again which touts one thing and delivers something completely different. The show was great. Disappointing was the length of the show and the fill jamming by the band. Show last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It started late and was shocked that it ended so early. They did the best songs early in the show but they performed well. Seating was tight but view was good at most seats.

We splurged for the VIP tickets in the 3rd row, which is what really made the difference in our level of enjoyment. People on the floor in the back would have had a hard time seeing, especially with some fans standing all the time. The Commodores are entertaining because they're old guys in sparkly outfits who interact with the crowd and (incredibly) adoring fans. However, they sang very few of the great hits that we all remember. It was very disappointing that they had a long lead-in to "Sail On" and then, when they finally got around to singing it, the guy talked part of the way thru it. Just sing the song and let us enjoy it! Not sure what the story is with the two guys who are the remaining original Commodores, but one must have been the former drummer because he kept going over to an extra set of drums and playing like a crazy man. It was a little strange, but entertaining for 90 minutes.

Terrible! The music was good...what there was of it! The seats were fine. It was in a small room at a casino that held maybe 1000. It was INCREDIBLY loud for that room. They started a little late, and only played for MAYBE 1 hour and 15 minutes then left. The mixing was TERRIBLE. Couldn't hear the leads, vocals overpowered by instruments etc. Instead of playing a whole lot of their songs, they maybe played 6 or 8. The rest was all vamping and drawing out the music to fill time. Who ever heard a 20 minute version of Brick House? Not the Commodores of yesteryear! They probably spent 20 minutes of the time vamping while doing band introductions. No opening music, The continually kept miss-pronouncing the name of the county and casino, and making fun of it which many commented was disrespectful. They were good in their day, but now they're a couple of old has-beens trying to eek out a living without working at it. Never again! I've lost all respect for these musicians.

The Commodores can definitely still bring it, and they sounded GREAT! I wish, however, that they would have simply just performed their songs and not had so many "audience participation"moments. I came here to see and hear THEM, not the crowd. It kind of ruins the songs a bit when they do that. Also, the overall seating was kind of odd for a concert event, and took away from the experience as well. They performed in the casino bingo hall, so all of the seats are on the same flat/level plane, and you look up to a slightly raised stage. I prefer when the seating is "stadium" style. Finally, WAY too long of an intermission between the opening act and The Commodores- at least a half hour. The set crew had everything switched over in no more than 10-15 minutes.

I enjoyed watching the Commodores perform Friday night at the IP Casino. It was my first time seeing them perform in person after listening to them all these years. Walter (Clyde) Orange and William King are still the master stage showman. Seem like J.D. Nicholas has gotten more sexier than ever over the years. The mean machine band was great. These guys aren't youngsters--nor are we--but they're more alive than a lot of newer acts. This show was in Mississippi, where old social tensions are still strong. The Commodores sweep that racial divide away. Great music. Great sound.

Lovely evening but surprised how short the first "half" was with the CSO. Only 4 songs. Commodores were entertaining and some of the old standbys were great to hear. But truly missing was that sweet soulful Lionel Ritchie voice.
