Lonestar

A great show held on a horrible night of snow and wind. The band made the trip to the top of Penn's Peak and did not disappoint. They sound just as good as they were 25 years ago. Hope to see the group up north in the future.

Ticketmaster provided a great service. The concert was Amazing 2 hours show! All my favorite songs and new songs, and all the Lonestar fans made the show a festival! Love love it!

I seen quite a few "big" country singers before but this was the best concert ever. The band made it fun and personal with the crowd.

The new lead singer makes Lonestar better then they were before! Great energy and voice. We heard an old Lonestar song on the way home from the concert and there is no comparison. This guy will appeal to the younger generation much more than whats his name. If you're stuck on the old lead singer, go try to find his music somewhere. Good luck.

To keep things short and sweet, we should have looked at the flyer closer to realize that the lead singer was new. The guy did the best he could but it wasn't the "Lonestar" we had grown to love over the past few years. Therefore was a bit of a shock when we got seated and the concert began. Hubby walked out as this was his birthday treat and in fairness would have done a better job himself! Sorry but that's the honest truth!

The tickets were only $15.00 and they put on an amazing show! I hope they come back again soon!

The concert was good. It included all different age groups in the audience. Also it wasn't only country they had a mix of music.

The show was incredible! We even saw them band after the show performing at the bar. I would definitely go again!!

The arena was great, small and intimate, the band was fun, lively and a great evening of entertainment. The only complaint is they are a "new" band. If you want original Lonestar, go see Richie MacDonald....

Lonestar was great. Cheap tickets and good venue not too big every seat was a good seat. They for sure know how to leave you with a party. The encore was soooo fun.

It was a wonderful show and I enjoyed every song they played. Watching the band play their songs was a breathtaking experience and I would love to go to another one of their shows. It was really cool to see the whole band perform at such a close view.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show by Lonestar! I'm glad to see them getting it rolling again with their new lead singer. He is a very talented singer. Can't wait for the new album to come out!

They were AWESOME!!I was wondering how the group would sound like since they have a new lead singer-But I have just put my thoughts to rest!THEY WERE AWESOME!iF we could have purchased tickets to the later time 9:30 pm show that night,we would have watched the 2 nd show too!KUDOS to the band!!they really played just for us!Atleast that is the way the band made us feel.After the show,the guys came to the front of the stage to visit with all the audience if they wished to come forward!!GREAT SHOW!!!!

It was a good show full of energy. They were entertaining even when not singing. They made sure everyone kept having fun, including my 5 year old and it was way past his bedtime! They made him feel as if he were the star of the show. They would not quit waving, smiling, and winking at him. He will remain a Lonestar fan for life. Definately a great show for the entire family.

Great concert. Won a meet & greet before hand which was way too brief, but they guys were very friendly and the music was great. Only wish they would have sung "mr. Mom"!

Show was great - the only complaint with our group is the seating. Like sardines ??

The best music I have heard in ages. I have been a fan of Lonestar for many years and the group put on a fantastic show ! The crowd was rocking for 1 1/2 hours straight. They played their oldies and then some of their new songs coming out in february of 2010. They were consistently entertainig and welcoming. They acted like they were really having a good time as we all were. Lonestar is by far one of the better groups around, they came back for an encore playing a Led Zepplin song which sounded better than led Zepplin themselves, Lonestar rocked !!

Small venue, good music, great group. Would like to see them in a larger venue. Too many old people

We try to go to all of their concerts when they re in our area and we will continue to go! They all truly have talent!

We had a really good time at the concert. The event center provided a close view of the band. They interacted with the audience. Sounded good. Our only complaint was that instead of playing THEIR songs - which they had plenty to choose from - they played 3 Christmas songs, a Beatles song and Wild Fire... that part was ok, they did a nice job. Just a little disappointed we didn't get to hear a few of our favorite songs because they did that instead.

They sound just like they did 25 years ago, I have been a fan since the beginning. My 3 Kids grow up listening to them, in the back seat..

I thoroughly enjoyed the band and the concert. The music was great, and the lead singer was funny. I especially enjoyed at the end of the concert when they brought a young girl with a cowboy hat and a Lonestar T Shirt up on stage to join in their last number. It was a special needs child, and she was in heaven! Obviously their No. 1 fan!

Lone star played all the best and did great job on assortment of cover songs.

Lonestar was fantastic. They played all of their hits. The venue is great as well. It's smaller so there literally isn't a bad seat in the whole place. Highly recommended!

I have to admit that I'm new to Lonestar, but I took my wife to see their "Life As We Know It Tour". I like country and am willing to hear new/different things, but 1/3rd of their playlist was cover tunes and the vast majority was not even close to country: Wildfire (Michael Martin Murphy) Let It Be (Beatles) Another Brick In The Wall (Pink Floyd) Walking in Memphis (Marc Cohn) Rapper's Delight (The Sugarhill Gang) All About That Bass (Meghan Trainor) Come Sail Away (Styx) Life in the Fast Lane (Eagles) I don't know why Lonestar chose to cover so many other artist's songs unless their own material just isn't that good? Take a pass on the show, save the $s, and listen to a 70s radio station instead. You'll hear most of the playlist there.

They played maybe three of their Hits. Weak showing.

Lonestar includes incredibly talented artists, who are fun and personable. Prepare to be awed. This is not your parents country music!

great concert only downfall was how the seats were arrange. we sat on the far right but the bands big speaker blocked the view of the band except for the keyboard and the main singer. but the band is a wonderful band they interact with the audience and they are down to earth and not high and mighty.

Went to valley forge for my birthday weekend. My husband was not sure what to expect. We both absolutely loved Lonestar. Thank you, Just wish I would have caught the teeshirt they threw to me on the balcony, It dropped to the lower lever before I could catch it.

What a great concert. They played all their hits and did it with a great style. They had engaged the audience the whole concert, as well as taking tons of pictures during the songs. Not a bad seat at this venue. So worth the money. I had forgotten how many songs we used to dance to by Lonestar. Awesome night.

Lonestar put on an awesome show. Sang every song that we could think of. Very personable group as they continuously were interacting with fans. You could tell that these guys loved what they do. We recommend their show to anyone. They played almost 2 hours.

I really enjoyed the group. They are such good singers and really involved the audience. I would go see them again for sure.

The best show we've seen yet at the IP Casino. Lots of crowd interaction. They even gave away a guitar to a kid in the audience.

Since it has been more than six years since I saw Lonestar in Lake Charles, LA and good tickets were still available for cheap, this was a no-brainer. I told everyone that the best part of their show was when they played classic rock tributes at the end and the die-hard country fans would get up and angrily walk out. Well, in Biloxi, very few walked out when that happened. This time, they played Pink Floyd, Styx, Beatles, Eagles, and one rap song. It only shows that it takes musicians who can play good rock to become a good country rock band. These are some great musicians, songwriters, and entertainers. The videos also helped this casual fan to understand several of the songs. They made the audience feel at home.

They put on a great concert. So engaging and great music. One the best groups ever!

The performance itself was very good. Well worth the time traveled and money spent.The guys took time to meet and take photos after the show. The only bad side to this show was you could not stand. We had to sit basically the whole show. We go to concerts to have a good time not sit around for 2 hrs! We are at a concert... STAND UP!!!!

It was a good concert. We found it to be to loud for the location. Their voices were muffled and it was hard to understand the songs they were singing. It was also way to hot inside. I know this has nothing to do with Lonestar, but is a Penns Peak issue. Even Lonestar said it was hot and they need to put air on.

I am NOT a country fan but like a few of Lonestar's songs.If you are a country western fan then this is a very good concert.

My husband and I have never been to a concert before so when I saw Lonestar was playing I jumped at the chance to see them live. I have heard that some artists don't sound as good live as on their albums but that is not the case with Lonestar! They sounded great! They interacted awesome with the crowd! It was a real treat to go see them perform!

Lonestar was amazing in concert. .. The music was unbeatable m They played a wide variety of songs and were very interactive with the crowd.

The concert was terrific. It was fully energetic. My only issue was that the venue had a horrible liquor selection.Otherwise, excellent!!!They played all my favorite hits and most memorable was how they saved my favorite lonestar hit, AMAZED, For the last!! Had a great time!!!

The concert was amazing. So personal and up close. Amazed is still my favorite song after all these years. I can't wait to see them again. And.. To top it off! I got a picture with Richie while I was playing the slots after the concert!

Loved the show, they do not get enough credit for their amazing songs. I love the banter between them and how much fun they have. They truly enjoy what they are doing.

We had 6th row seats and we were blown away. The bass was a little to loud at first but by about the second song they had that corrected. Great show and a great venue.

It's been a few years since I've seen Lonestar and even longer since I've seen them with Richie but this show was definitely worth the wait! From the beginning to the end they were amazing! Richie sounded better than ever and his interaction with Dean and the fans was hilarious! They performed most of their hits and treated us with 4 or 5 new songs as well as the rock medley that I loved seeing them do back in the early 2000s. Had everyone on their feet and singing along! Some of the best performances included "Walking in Memphis", "I'm already there", "The countdown" and "The boys are back in town". One highlight was sharing a note from a fan and dedicating "Amazed" to them. The Dean table dancing story was too funny! Overall a great night!

I saw these guys last year and liked them so much that I came back! These guys are amazing!!!!!My friends and I bought the VIP package and it was one of the most awesome experiences we've ever had! We were treated to a private concert for about 30 minutes and we could ask them questions and they could ask us! It was very intimate! They then signed autographs on the huge poster they gave us and took the time for individual pictures! If you get the chance I urge you to take advantage of this!

I would definitely see them over and over. There show man ship was outstanding. they have a lot of class.

This was a great concert. Indian Ranch is a very nice place. The area was so country it all fit in nicely. I would see another concert here anytime. We enjoyed the ride,the food and the gift shop was very reasonable. The beer was very cold!!!! I liked being able to see all the singers when they walk out, they stopped and talked and made time for pictures. I would see Lonestar again, they were great!

I have loved Lonestar's music for about 12 years now and Amazed by You was our wedding dance song! But I had never seen them in concert. I can't believe what I have missed out on. They ROCKED! Besides hearing all my favorites and the great new songs from the new album, the rock medley at the end was incredible. My husband and I talked about how awesome their rockin' voices are. Very impressive. I can't wait to see them again. STEP ASIDE RASCAL FLATTS!! These guys have talent!

I have seen Lonestar several times over the last 12 years. I can honestly say that this is the best that they have sounded as a group in years. New lead singer; Cody Collins, has brought an edge and a renewed level of excitement back to the group (Michael Britt, Dean Sams and Keech Rainwater). The harmonies and the musicianship were incredible. The show was filled will lots of energy that got the crowd going from the get go. There was a great mix of old favorites "No News" and "You Waked In", number 1 songs "Amazed" and "I'm Already There" and new cuts "Your The Reason Why" and "Party Heard Around the World". If you get the chance...LONESTAR is a must see in concert!

"Amazed" was the song we chose for our wedding 3-18-2000. July 11, 1999, exactly 10 years to the day we committed to each other, was the date of the concert at the Skagit Casino. As karma may have it, we lucked out with front row seats, stood up and sang to each other along with the band to "our song".

It was enjoyable seeing the group again. Even though Richie MacDonald was not the lead vocalist, Cody Collins did a nice job singing lead on many of their major hits. Great interaction with the audience. However, their encore was sadly disappointing. It was a rock-only encore. Not one Lonestar song!! They should have played some of their original hits like "Everything's Changed", "Not A Day Goes By", "Smile" and "Mr. Mom". These are the tunes that helped launch their career and what Lonestar fans came to hear.

I brought my family and friends to this show and everyone enjoyed themselves. It can be hard to please a large crowd, but they definately did. The new lead was fantastic and showed great range. We would recomend this show to anyone that wants to have a great time. BRAVO

Lonestar was amazing as always but the stage is a bit too high

The show was good and entertaining. It was nice to hear all the number one hits as well as surprising to hear them cover the Eagles, Pink Floyd and a rap song.

This concert was to be of their greatest hits, and they sang and played them all. One after the other, this was one of the best concerts ever. They were truly great.

Band was awesome! Songs preformed at the end were old time rock and roll.

At first I thought there was going to be a different lead singer. Pleasantly surprised to find that not to be.I would recommend the whole family. Wholesome and inspiring musical event. Thank you Lonestar for a great performance.

Haven't seen Lonestar since the mid nineties at a country club in Charleston, SC. Music still sounds awesome. Orca Ballroom provided an intimate venue for their show. Would return here for another show and recommend to others.

First time to Penn's Peak. Although it was blizzard like conditions the show still went on. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy any of the scenery. But will definitely come back for more concerts. Lonestar put on a nice show.

I'll admit that I was a fan of Lonestar since I first heard "What About Now".... In fact that whole CD was fabulous so I added several more Lonestar CDs to my collection while waiting for them to appear in Vegas for a show or 2. Finally they booked a date at the Golden Nugget - which is a fairly small venue so any show is way more intimate than at many of the other venues. Well, they played most all of their hits but I did have a few critiques that I want to share.....all in the name of improving the audience experience. The singing volume was a bit too low. You could make out some of the words but let's face it, their style of music has the VOCALS as the centerpiece. Although I understand that drama happens amongst bandmates and that Lonestar needed to re-group but I was somewhat disappointed in Richie's overall performance. Perhaps it was just a "Bad Night" or that he wasn't feeling well but he lacked ENTHUSIASM. His expressions and lack of energy made it seem like he wanted to be anywhere BUT on stage that night. He really dampened my experience.... The other bandmates looked like they were having a GREAT time so I spent more time just "Listening" and watching them. That's too bad....I waited several years to see them live.

Lonestar was fun from beginning to end. The musicians were extremely talented and were having a great time performing. They have so many hits that it was a great trip back in time. Excellent concert that left the audience wanting more\u2014and they played almost two hours. The audience waited outside for the shuttle back to the casino in cold weather and everyone was still happy and celebrating a great concert!

I am not a huge fan of Lonestar but I always enjoyed their music so I decided to go to see them since Penn's Peak is a great place to see a concert. I am so glad I did, they put on a great show. They not only sounded great but were very entertaining. They told stories and made jokes and constantly interacted with the crowd. At one point the lead singer had his head hanging off the stage so someone could take a selfie with him. They showed a great appreciating for their fans. I will go to see them again.

Penn's Peak is an awesome place to visit. The views from peak are breathtaking.We arrived early and had dinner. The food was good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking available. Lonestar was the perfect ending to a perfect day. They played for two plus hours and were engaging. The sound fantastic!!! They played our old favorites and sprinkled in some new songs. They are a very down to earth group of men who won our hearts with the lyrics and voices.

Lonestar was amazing!!! I didn't know if my 15 year old son would like it, but he wanted to go. He is not real familiar with too many of their songs. As I thought Lonestar did not disappoint, he loved it! I hope they come back again and again. So glad we went and can't wait to go to the next show.

Excellent show! Lonestar performed all of their hits and a lot of Christmas songs. They were very welcoming and engaging with the audience. The band and the voices were superb. The sound mix was perfect. Very enjoyable show.

This was one of the best concerts that my husband and I have been to in a long, long time. The choice of songs and, of course, the sound were truly wonderful. The entire band interacts with the audience. They not only played all their own wonderful songs, but some of other artists. We are so happy we went.

Lonestar is still truly charismatic, phenominal vocals, can still hold those long notes...great crowd interaction, great music replays not only of those truly loved hits but those cover band songs that bring the crowd to life and off their feet! A must see show, would go again in a heartbeat....Lonestar Thank you for coming back and staying amazing!

Great performance by Lonestar but the venue at Pauma Casino is a one level tent that smells like a smoke filled casino.

These guys put on a 2 hour non-stop show that was filled with their hits. I have never seen a bad with such high energy!!! Nearly a quarter of a century later they are still enjoying what they do.

Lonestar put on one of the best shows I have seen in ages!! The venue was small and they played it LARGE!! Did all their big hits plus new ones coming out in about a month!! I had forgotten what a GREAT group they are and would definitely go see them again!!

The music was too loud it was hard to hear them singing. The drums and bass affected us in a negative way so we left early.

We loved the concert! The interaction with the fans is like nothing I have seen before. We were in 2nd row and watched in amazement as one fan after another came up to take "selfies". Whenever they saw a fan doing that, they would get into the picture. At one point, Ritchie was on his stomach on stage so a mom with a child in a wheelchair could get a picture...and he was still singing!! Cannot say enough about what a breath of fresh air they are! Oh, and they sounded awesome too!

I did love how well Lonestar played to the audience. They stood, stooped and laid on the stage to pose for pictures during the performance. Their encore of songs from other artists was nice but they didn't save at least one of their most popular songs for it. But I would definitely go see them again.

We have seen Lonestar many times now and this show lived up to our high expectations. The band appears to truly have fun on stage and Richie McDonald always goes above and beyond to make the audience feel important. His fan interaction is incredible.

This was a wonderful concert. The tickets were given as a christmas gift and what a gift. They sang new and old. I have no idea how they could sing that much and never miss a note. I would highly recommed anyone to go and see Lonestar. I will go again if they are back in the area.
