Rodney Atkins

Fantastic-not a good weekend (Memorial Day Holiday) so I hope Rodney knows he is, by God's Grace, loved by his Momma, family and fans!!!!!!!

This was my first time attending a show at Grand Casino Mille Lacs. Big casino and the event center was very nice. The place we ate in the casino had really good food! Only suggestion that I didn't like was the waiter rarely came to check on us and ask how our meal was. I understand with it being busy but that was the only downfall I had. Rodney Atkins did a great performance! He forgot the words to a few songs but it was the best concert I've been to of his! And this was my third time seeing him live

We had a great time and it seemed everybody around us enjoyed themselves as well. I wish I would have worn my cowboy hat! Next time!

Rodney is excellent to listen to - very entertaining to watch - and is also very humorous! We got nothing but EXCELLENT nonstop listening out of him. If given the chance - I would have taken the whole family with me to watch and listen to him as an early Xmas gift.

Rodney Atkins put on a great show. He was so funny that I think he should do stand up. Had a great time, I would love to see him again. Julianne Hough was good, but I had a hard time understanding what she was singing. (but she is new to it so give her some time)

Rodney came onto the stage from on an elevated platform behind the drummer singing "It's America". He spoke often to the crowd like a friend. He sang a couple of songs all by himself, sitting on a stool and playing his guitar. He really got the crowd going towards the end and also during the encore - singing "Going Through Hell". After the song ended, the lights came up and the band walked offstage. Except Rodney....he stayed and stayed and stayed - signing all kinds of things for the crowd gathered around. Hats, shirts, pictures, stuffed animals, drumsticks, etc. He strikes me as a guy you'd meet in a bar and have a beer with. I wish my neighbors were like him. Thanks for the great show, Rodney.

What and awesome talent...........he involved the audience in almost every song and he is the real deal

Both Rodney & Julianna worked the crowd. You felt like they enjoyed you as much as you were enjoying them. It's been awhile since we have been to a concert that had the energy and feelings that these two brought to the stage. Loved the show.

Watching Rodney Atkins last night felt like we were in a small theater watching him play only for us. He gives out a vibe like you're the only people out there and he could really be your nextdoor neighbor. He seemed completely genunine and was absolutely hilarious. My husband and I will definately go to another concert! At the end of the show, Rodney was signing autographs for tons of people arounnd the stage. . .what star does that anymore? It left me with a WOW because most singers leave the stage and their money was made for the night. What a nice guy Rodney is!

Julianne Hough needs to return to "Dancing with the Stars". Totally unimpressed, maybe she is just a much better recording studio star than live performer. All her songs sounded like one long continuous song with little variety and the music overpowered her voice which also doesn't have much depth to it. She sounds more like a little top 40 star for teeny boppers than a country music star. Rodney Atkins on the other hand put on a top-notch show playing a variety of his hits and adding his own comic relief to the show in between songs. A definite would go see him again if ever in the area. A real down to earth type guy with an incredible voice, songs with great lyrics and meaning, and a band that can really play and motivate a crowd!

Julianne is so beautiful and so sweet, my daughters got to shake her hand, they were called from the audience, so cool. Rodney took time to sign autograghs so special, more people need to take the time for fans.. way to go

Julianne hough kick off the show with a bang. she is a great singer and smokin hott. Rodney atkins came out after her and he put on an amazing show.

This was an excellent concert. He played a lot of songs and everyone sang along.

Both Julianne and Rodney did phenominal. I would recommend this concert to anyone who is looking into it. Easily the best concert I have been to.

We went to see Julieanne Hough ( knowing her from Dancing with the stars) not knowing how much we would enjoy Rodney Atkins, He is amazing and will go see him the next time he is in town. It was a great show and well worth going to.

Julianne Hough, Whats not to love about the 21 year old Julianne. 1. She is beautiful. 2.Great personality. 3. She has found her true calling. Reasons for not awarding a 5 Star.. 1.MUSIC was too LOUD. I could hardley understand the words to her songs as the band played like a HARD ROCK BAND. 2. She was overdressed. She could lose those KneeHigh Boots. Her eye make-up made her eyes look spooky on the big screens.. OVERALL...I will always love her. RODNEY AKINS, I liked him a lot and he did a 5 Star job. I had never heard of him but now I know about him and he Is GOOD. Buy his music. It is not overbearing like Juliannes. I could understand him.

Rodney is now on my fav list. His show was awesome

WE TOOK OUR 7 YEAR OLD SON WHO IS A HUGE RODNEY FAN TO HIS FIRST CONCERT! GREAT ENVIROMENT FOR KIDS. PUYALLUP STAFF DID A GREAT JOB OF KEEPING THE DRUNKS REMOVED AND EVERYONE WAS GREAT! RODNEY SOUNDED TERRIFIC! GREAT PERFORMER AND AMAZING VENUE!

A wonderful show (even though our seats were horrible...a big beam in front of us..thank goodness for the big screen). Rodney is so talented and made the show really fun. Would definately enjoy seeing him again.

Rodney Atkins was sooooo good. Pendleton is a ranching/ farming town, so we could really relate to his songs, like 'I Got Friends With Tractors', 'Still Cleaning This Gun, 'A Man On A Tractor'... I am really glad we were able to get tickets... ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!! Would definatley go see him in concert again..

Atkins really got the crowd involved.. was an over all bad ass concert!!

Reckless Kelly was boring. Rodney Atkins on the other hand was the best. He interacts with the crowd very well and is extremely funny.

Rodney Atkins show was very good. He is a great performer and his band is awesome. It was a particularly appropriate show for Memorial Day weekend due to the nature of his songs.

What a great concert! Even better it was for a great cause.

I loved every minute of this event. Playing a concert to support our fallen officers is testament to the amazing country music commitment to our nation. .I was sadden to see so many empty seats, next year I hope Back The Badge does this event again and find a way to increase the publicity, I only ran across this event when I was looking for a concert to take my daughter for her birthday. I listen to country music everyday on the "other" radio station in town, I would think for a special event like this both stations could have worked together to get the word out on supporting our fallen officers.

This is the third time I have Rodney Atkins and he never disappoints me.

From the opening song to the closing song it was such a fun concert!! Rodney was so laid back like he was just another one of the boys in the band rather than the lead star and not to mention that he has some really talented band members!! Made it feel so real with all of his songs that are about life-such as A little dust on the bottle, At home cleaning my gun, My little buckaroo, etc. We even got to hear a new love song that he will be releasing soon and it was fantastic just like everything else he sings!! I can't say enough good things about such an amazing concert in such a great venue as Diamond Jacks where there's not a bad seat anywhere in the room and the price was very reasonable for such a talented star!

Awesome show! Super energy! Made me want to dance in the isles!! Very disappointed with the length of the show. You would think he would have performed for more than 1 hour.

The chair seating at the Golden Nugget Casino didn't have the same affect as his concert at the Hard Rock Casino. The Hard Rock concert was standing only in a bar enviroment. The crowd was dull and the singer didn't perform as well. I guess singers do feed off of their fans energy..

Rodney put on a really good show. Only issue i had was with the venue itself. I bought front row tickets so that no one would be in my way and they allowed people to walk up to the stage and take pictures and block the show. It was a real disappointment but Rodney did his best by walking the whole stage to keep people from just standing there. I will definitely go watch him play again.

Rodney Atkins and his band were awesome. Had a great time. Saw him before and this one was just as good as the last one.

Took my daughter to see Rodney at the Starland Ballroom --- had no idea the night that was in store for us!! LOVED the Starland Ballroom - we were first row - Rodney was amazing - his wife was great too!!! Can't wait to see him again!!! and then I won the Twitter contest "photographer of the night" --- very cool !! :)

Rodney Atkins and his band put on an energetic performance, keeping the audience thoroughly entertained the whole night.

Praise, that from me, a concert goer of over 200 concerts, is not lightly given. But truly, we were in the front row, and the band was awesome. Every song was perfect, and the band and Rodney had so much fun interacting with the audience! Loved the House of Blues intimate vibe, the crowd was excellent and so was the concert! Will definitely see Rodney Atkins again!

Terrible set up at the event - had people standing in front of the people who paid premium prices for seats. The volume was way too high - bass was so percussive that you could feel the pounding in your chest. The bands were set up to play in an outdoor forum rather than a small convention centre. The instruments were so unbalance that the vocalist (Rodney, himself) was singing totally out of tune to his band. It was the worst concert I have ever been to and I walked out after 15 minutes\u2026. glad to be away from the incredible noise.

The show was amazing. The sound wasn't all that great, but the fact that I was so close to the stage while having "moderate" seats was pretty cool. I love Rodney Atkin's music so seeing his live was such a rush :)

The venue was first class. Lots of room and well laid out seating. The opening act, Roy Torres, was very good. Torres was energetic, personable, and has a fine voice. The fact we are both from Donna just is icing on a very good cake. This was my first concert in several years and the main act, Rodney Atkins, did not disappoint. His voice (though not at the elite Geoge Strait level) still remains as one of the best in country music today. In addition to playing his hits (the fan participation during Watching You was especially enjoyable and telling as to how much people connect with that song) he sang a number of easily recognizable songs from T. G. Shepard, Charlie Daniels, and Bon Jovi. He involved the fans throughout the show from the aforementioned Watching You to at one pont jumping off the stage and walking through the crowd and letting them sing a line from If You are Going Through Hell with his mic.

We expected to see and hear from some baseball players. There were none...other than Albert P. My son is a huge baseball fan and this was part of his Christmas present. It was very disappointing. The Nelsons were great. I didn't know what to expect but they had so much energy that they just lite up the whole place. I would enjoy seeing them anywhere. Rodney Adkins was really good too. Overall though, we didn't get what we expected from the night.

They played all of their best songs! Very interactive with the audience.

Our seats and the venue were unbelievable! My only complaint was the uncontrollable drunks. I don't have a problem with people enjoying a few drinks, but when they are served to many and become nasty drunks, it interfered with me being able to enjoy myself for them falling all over me.

Very good show except that we did not know there was going to be two other acts before Rodney. There was also too long of a wait before Rodney came on.(40 minutes). Everything was all set up we were just sitting & waiting with no explanation. I like it better when there isn't an intermission.

He interacted with the crowd so well! And everyone around me was very nice!! Such an overall amazing show! And defenitly my new favorite venue.

I have a few things to say about this concert 1st Rodney was great you could here him over the music made sure he played to the entire crowd showed off his band members was awesome 2nd he took the time to pick out people that counted took a 5 yr old up on stage to sing with him come off the stage to let some handicapped people sing with him 3rd he wasn't drunk like a few performers I have seen lately that I love very nice clean cut home town man THUMBS UP to Rodney

The concert was absolutely fabulous. Rodney was so fan friendly and genuine. He performed all his hits plus some new hits wonderfully. The most impressive was his willingness to stay after the show and sign autographs for quite a long time. I really like the intimacy of the Blue Chip. This will rank as one of my all time favorite shows.

Uncle Kracker, Craig Morgan, and Rodney Atkins all sang their hearts out, showed emotions, and mostly just had a fun time performing. I must admit the three together turned out to give one of the most memorable concerts I've ever been to. Uncle Kracker is one of the most down to earth normal guys I've ever met. Craig Morgan is a total sweetheart and pretty much wears his heart on his sleeve. He even got emotional with tears and all after singing a song after telling us he had lost a loved one earlier in the year. It was definitely such a heartfelt moment that touched everyone in the audience. Rodney Atkins has such high energy and interacts with the crowd making you feel like you are right on stage with him. I was actually lucky enough to stand up next to the stage and watch him perform at times just 2 feet from him. Again, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Thanks to all the men and KNCI for putting the concert together. I hope it turns into a tradition!

Rodney was AWESOME! He brought my 11 year old daughter up on stage to sing with him. Hope Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ has more COUNTRY concerts.

THis to me was like an intimate concert and a way to get to know Rodney as an entertainer and artist and even personally! I enjoyed this venue very much. I was in the 4th row front and center. Great view..It was great to get some amazing pictures... When things were silent it was fun to see what people came up with or the band, we could kinda of yell and talk with him and he listened. That woud never happen at a big concert venue..

I am a huge Rodney Atkins fan, and was thrilled to hear he'd be playing in Auburn. What a wonderful, intimate venue! WIth such a small crowd, no seat was a bad seat, and you felt like he was really "watching you" ;-) Not only would I recommend Rodney's show but a big thanks and congratulations to the Auburn Rotary for putting on such an excellent show.

This concert was absolutely amazing! I love Rodney. The Grizzly Rose was an excellent location and the crowd was exceptional and very responsive to Rodney's performance. I cannot wait to see Rodney again!

The Rodney Atkins concert was awesome, although we were very disappointed that Julianne Hough only performed for 20 minutes, which she is the main reason we went to the concert, Rodney made up for that with his awesome performance. We had a very good time at the concert and look forward to hear more of his music in the future, I am now a fan of his as well. It was a very enjoyable evening, Thanks Rodney and Julianne

OMG, he was great to watch. Great show, even my husband who doesn't like country liked the show and a few of Rodney's songs got my husband all teary eyed! I will see Rodney again when he comes back to phoenix!

This was a really good concert and both Rodney and Julianne really outdid themselves! I only wish that Julianne was on the stage longer than she was. Was just really getting into it and then she was gone. She was the one that I really went to see in the first place. I have been a fan from the first time I saw her dance on DWTS and she really poured her heart into her show tonight. Rodney brought the house down with all the crowd favorites and I found out that I am now a fan. All in all, it was a GREAT concert!!!

Rodney Atkins put on a GREAT show! He started the concert rocking with "It's America" and he kept the energy high all night all the way through to his encore song "If You're Going Through Hell". I will see Rodney next time he comes to town. He even stayed late signing autographs for his fans. How many artists do that anymore!

First Julianne hough came on stage and gave us a great performance. After her set there was enough break between her set and Rodney Atkins set to get food and other things. Rodney also gave us a stiller perfromance. it was not a sold out concert but it should have been

Rodney Atkins was great!! He sang both of our favorite songs..."He's Mine" & "Watching You". He sang a beautiful song with his wife!! The VIP tickets were not worth it. Shame on Stereo Garden for advertising waitress service and better viewing when people stand in front of the railing. Would've been equally fine seeing him from the back. Either way would totally see Rodney Atkins again anytime, anywhere but as for spending the $90 vs $25 for VIP seating in Stereo Garden...save your money.

Rodney Atkins captures the heart of America so skillfully... not just capturing our hearts, but describing it so skillfully in his words and songs! Phenomenal performance!

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous concert at Penns Peak on Friday night. The venue was clean, cozy and tasteful. The concert was amazing. Rodney sounded awesome and his band was tremendous. It was the first country concert my husband had ever been to and he download Rodney's greatest hits the next day from itunes.

Event was excellent, great seats, no matter where you were located in the hall. Unfortunately, there was a group of girls there that apparently were part of a bachelorette party, were very drunk, and LOUD. They not only tried to get on stage, but throughout the concert, they carried on so bad, they disrupted the area of the hall were they were, and no one from the venue tried to quiet them down. It was so bad at times, you couldn't hear the act on stage.

Atkins was fantastic, however the guests for the most part were rude and ignorant. I will think twice before attending another country venue. They actually began to leave so there was no encore!

Rodney Atkins and Drew Baldridge put on a great show. The energy they put out was amazing. I love the venue Penns Peak and seeing concerts there is always memorable!

What a Special Evening at the Penn's Peak once again with Rodney Atkins as he not only gave all of us a wonderful performance with his music, but his wife and he shared their little newborn during the Buckaroo Song. Penn's Peak, thank you for having such a beautiful venue for us here in the Pocono's can go to and see outstanding performances.

wE REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME, MUSIC WAS A LITTLE TO LOUD FOR US TO HEAR THE WORDS THAT WELL BUT RODNEY WAS FANTASTIC. HIS WIFE BROUGHT THEIR NEW SON OUT ONTO THE STAGE WHEN HE WAS SINGING "I WANT TO BE LIKE YOU" AND HE WAS BEAUTIFUL.

The venue is the perfect size to see a concert. Not to big not to small. The audio guys do a heck of a job. Music sounded good. To often you see a concert and the amps are way to high and all you hear is distortion. Drew Baldridge put on a good show. Maybe think about getting a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. I don t think the kitchen is up to the demand that they get right before a show. Myself and the people next to us waited over an hr and we only got half our order. My fiancé was done with her meal for 20 minutes before I cancelled mine in order get into the concert on time.

Penns peak is always a great place to see a show. There is not a bad seat in the house. We saw Rodney Atkins and Drew Brawdrige and it was a great show. Would highly recommend going to see them if you get the chance.

The concert lasted 1 hr and 10 minutes. Took 90 minutes to get there, then 70 minutes later we drive 90 minutes back home.

Meet & greet was great! Rodney took the time to speak with everyone in line. We couldn't have asked for a better concert!! We will definitely return to Hinckley and would love to Rodney in action again.

The concert itself was amazing!!! I love Rodney Atkins!! I also got a Meet & Greet which was unexpected but my daughter and I had a blast!! My only problem was not the concert itself just that I think for concerts \u2014especially in smaller venues such as the casinos there should be a separate section for people to stand and not block the view of others. I can take care of myself, but sitting next to us were elderly people who could not stand for the whole show and the people in front of them stood the whole time. I understand they have the right but why should they also have the ability to stop other people who also paid for their tickets not to be able to see. Just seems all too unfair to me. Just an observation from a concerned fan!!! But once again I had a great time at the concert and would love to go see him again!!!!

Rodney Atkins was very good. My mother who is 93 had wanted to see him as she had read about him in Guideposts. However sitting thru the first two acts, she almost left but I convinced her to stay and she enjoyed him..

This man is incredible! His music is realistic & genuine, and connects with the heart. His values come through to emphasize the intended message of the song. His humor, talent, compassion, and faith present a good example for others to see. He made the audience feel like part of the "get-together;" and the opportunity for audience participation was an unusual aspect to be considered. The venue selection was a definite factor in creating the intimate atmosphere shared by both performers and audience. All-in-all, a five-star experience!

I don't know if it was the theatre or what, but the bands were so loud you could not hear any of the acts singing. I was disappointed since I love Rodney's songs. I wish he had turned down the music so I could have heard the words.

I paid extra money for the VIP experience ..all we got was a lasagna dinner..we could have ate supper and had a few drinks before we came and saved money..very disappointed..however Rodney was great!

I enjoyed seeing Rodney Atkins & his opening act, but the show should've started at 07:00 pm instead of 08:00 pm.

The show was really good. Who ever opened up for the two of them was great but I didn't catch his name. I am a real fan of josh and he did not disappoint

Rodney Atkins was great . I really enjoyed his music and knew almost every song. The sound was perfect. I thought Josh Thompson was too loud and when Rodney came on, you were able to sit back and sing, hear the lyrics and enjoy the music. I wanted to make a personal comment though about Tyler Farr. I really enjoyed his music. I had a problem with a comment he made. Someone in the audience cursed and he threw out a comment about the person having tourette's. He meant this as a joke, but he should not joke about real disabilities that people live with on a daily basis. I was with my family and one of my children who was with me has tourettes. To be in the audience, knowing you are supporting this artist by coming to his event, and have him make fun of a challenge you were born with, can be quite a bit upsetting. By the way, there are very few people with tourettes who actually scream out curses. But that is a sterotype that will never go away as long as people continue to make that joke. I just wanted him to know that jokes about disabilities are not usually appreciated and what would be a better use of his popularity would be to stand up for people with challenges and then more people would do the same.

It was an amazing show!! It was definitely worth going to!! The hall was amazing and so was Rodney Adkins!!

Rodney Atkins was absolutely amazing, as was the first performer (Farr) but josh Thompson was a bit of a let down. Maybe just not my type of country, but his performance seemed a bit off

Tyler Farr was a fun and entertaining opener. Not a big fan, but Josh Thompson was great. Rodney was freaking awesome! Been waiting a long time to see Rodney in NY. Almost traveled to see him 2 yrs ago, but airfare was prohibitive. Love him to pieces ans his show did not disappoint.
