Peaches

PEACHES IN CONCERT: Electronic pop provocateur Peaches blends undeniably catchy hooks with performance art at her thrilling live concerts. Pitched halfway between Lady Gaga’s art pop perfection and Suicide’s confrontational synthpunk, Peaches’ intense dance beats and shocking stage show treat ticket buyers to an edgy spectacle they won’t be able to look away from. Peaches rewards her audience’s curiosity with elaborate costume changes and choreography on tour. All her style is matched by some serious substance, and she shows off rock star pipes on fan favorites like “Why Don’t You Talk to Me”, “Serpentine”, and “I Feel Cream”.

The show was cool, Peaches really knows how to take a crowd on a journey.... I was expecting a much bluer/raunchier version of the Artist known as Peaches, but she tore the roof off, and then stuck around onstage and signed an endless stream of tshirts, posters, or whatever was tossed up on stage. Peaches Rocks. She is truly a breed apart and a REAL artist.

She's loveable even when she's ballsy. She's everybody's kid sister doing the BIG strong rock star stuff full tilt boogie with considerable power and charm. Her costumes are great. Her band is tight, her showmanship is high energy. Laser light encore was cool. "Fuck the Pain Away" remains one of the greatest electro-pop songs ever written.

This was hands down the best concert I have ever been to! Her opener was awesome and had a great vibe. I will definitely be listening to their music in the future. Peaches was nothing short of incredible! She started with Mud, which I thought was a strange choice, but it really worked in getting everybody worked up. She was on GO thru the whole performance, jumping into and standing on the crowd, jumping off of equipment, lots of costume changes, playing with her band, getting the audience to take their shirts off, spitting blood on people, and just being a total sexy badass about everything. She pretty much went through all of I Feel Cream, and some songs from her other albums as well, including Fuck the Pain Away. She did TWO encores which blew my mind. This was my first time seeing her in concert. I live two hours from the concert venue, it was a Monday night, and I had work the next day, but she was so awesome I would gladly make the trip again if she returns to Atlanta! If you get a chance to she her show, I highly recommend it!

I had never been to a concert in a small venue with moshpits and crowdsurfing before. Peaches sure knows how to have fun! She was throwing herself all over the audience and hanging from water pipes! I am very short and it was sort of uncomfortable flighting with ppl who were bigger than me but the moshpit actually threw me to the very front row! I've never felt that sort of energy before. I'll make sure to wear less next time I go to one because she gets going and we got pumpin!

Peaches is a show that can throw you over board. She demands attention, she gets your blood pumping and she will pull you in! I have seen her twice this year and I have to say the Loft at center stage is not the place to see Peaches. For show like Peaches you don't want to miss a thing. Peaches must be seen by all at a show. Veriaty and the Masquerade are so far the best places to see Peaches.

Peaches didn't go on until nearly midnight. It was worth it though because she put on an amazing show. The singing was great, she did lots of interesting costume changes, used special effects in interesting ways, and included the audience. This was the most creative show I've ever seen. She spit champagne on us and let the crowd surf her and hold her up during songs. It was amazing. The merch was cool but it was cash only which sucked. The venue was ok...no seating which would have been nice for the 3 hour wait. She didn't play the songs I expected her to play.

I love live music and I love Peaches. I have seen her tour with each album and this one made me buy her last two albums that night. It is really unusual to actually enjoy songs you don't know beyond maybe bobbing your head a little, but she rocked it out. I was REALLY dancing to songs I had never heard before and her flair for drama never took a break. By far, one the top shows in my 16 year concert going career. Great energy and sound quality.

Peaches is one of the best performer that I have ever seen in all time. she so theatrical on stage and knows how to get the crowd going. When she first came on stage she was wearing this elaborate costume and every time she would sing the next song. Her outfit would change. Now that's a performer! My favorite moment was when she was singing "show stoppers." She was crawling on top of the crowd during her song. I couldn't believe it! I would defiantly go see here again in November at The Wiltern in LA and bring new comers to her show. Cause I know that they would get hooked... If you want to see a good live show that will make your mind say WOW this is the show to go see.

Peaches had a great stage presence with her back up dancers. Her energy was contagious and there was always something strange to look up at on stage- be it costume changes, dancers, inflatable phallic tube, etc. The venue was tight and the crowd was a little aggressive.

I never even heard of Peaches before the night of the concert. Called the House of Blues to see who was playing. They said "Peaches, she's kinda like punk rock" I said OK cool, I got nothing better to do. Went and was blown away. Awesome LIVE show. I bought a couple of CDs there but they do her and her show no justice. GO SEE HER LIVE. You won't regret it.

Peaches is an excellent live performer! She started out in this funky feathered monster costume and changed wardrobe between most songs. She crowd surfed during a few of her songs including walking on hands in the pit, a very cool move in itself! I love this quote "IF you drop me Seattle the show is over!" Every walk of life was there getting their groove on from businessmen doing the head nodding, a kid dancing like Chunk from the Goonies, to people just thrashing in the pit. Everyone enjoyed themselves and gave a rats ass about the people next to the them. Good times!

peaches was phenomenal. from creepy, hairy, ginormous costumes, to walking on the crowd and spraying champagne all over us, to a blinking white light on her crotch it was literally a show within a show within a show. her voice was even more amazing in person and the energy she exuded pretty much made me forget how much my feet hurt in my heels. i'm so happy to have had this peaches experience.

Let me start off with the cover. Amanda Blank did a phenomenal job warming up the crowd and getting them in the mood. I had never heard her stuff before, and now I'm inclined to check out her music. She's got the moves and the mojo, and she worked it really well. In my opinion, it is rare the a cover really shines, and she shined bright. The stage crew took a pretty long time inbetween Amanda and Peaches, and I wondered why that was. Well that's because Peaches brings one hell of a show to the stage. A very impressive show with lots of technomagic and spunk. She brought out lots of her latest hits with some classic returns, and her stage presence is something to behold. She gets the crowd swept up in her charismatic and sexual prowess and takes them to the moon. If anyone ever involved the crowd in a concert, Peaches has done it to the max. It was beyond enjoyable, and worth much more than what I paid to get in. This is a show that would be a shame to miss. This was on Thanksgiving too, so I think Peaches delivered a little more to her crowd that day.

If you know Peaches, then you know what she's like- and the night's show saw Peaches the artist, Peaches the entertainer, and Peaches the sexual revolutionist at their very best: champagne thrown into the crowd, crowd walking and surfing through Terminal 5, the works. Great opening acts too, I'm glad Jessica 6 are finally putting their genius out there. A fantastic show.

She was amazing...Multiple costume changes, video trickery, crowd surfing (she performed two tracks while being held upright out in the audience!) lasers programmed like theremins. She hit all the classics, and threw in a well considered group of trracks she didn't perform last time around at Webster Hall ("Slippery Dick", "Fatherf*cker"). Two multi-track encores. Fans will leave happy, and newbies converted. Leave the kids at home! ;-)

I was not familiar with any of the artists on the bill--the tickets were a gift for a friend. I really enjoyed all three performers but Amanda Blank really stood out for me. Her stage presence was fun and her music & rap was original and kicking. I became an instant fan and will definitely keep an eye out for her in the future. The headliner, Peaches, was good and her look/act/persona reminds me very much of those fab, over-the-top, arty German acts from the 80's. She was fun. This was also my first time at this venue, Terminal 5, and it was fantastic!

i love peaches! she is always awesome!! my only complaint was that she kept on making us believe that she was performing her last song when that was not the case. her 'encore' was 6-7 songs... as i was leaving she went back on stage and i wound up with a crap view of the performance.
