NCAA Men's Hockey Frozen Four

It was a lot of fun seeing the championship games for the 4 best teams in college hockey. Viewing is good from anywhere but seating is pretty tight for leg room and hip room especially since many big guys. Drinks were very high priced. Staff was all friendly and helpful.

The games were excellent, except for the play of the "Minne-so-cold gophers". They were flat from the drop of the puck and never got moving except for # 7 Rau...he hustled but his line mates never were a factor as contributors except for their lack luster play....Union looked like an up ands coming young team....I think Ferris State just wore them down in the end......Boston was superior to the gophers in every aspect of play, especially in the nets and their defensive zone.

It was a great event but the tickets were overpriced... and you could not leave the arena between games on Thursday which was bad... they need to change that!

$175 for three college hockey tickets is steep. No two ways about it, but the games were good. All decided by one goal. Access was easy. The fan fair around the game added to the experience but had some issues. The Championship experience which is the park outside the stadium with food, drink, games and entertainment was less than impressive. Lines were long and prices high. Also, a larger number of corporate sites pushing their respective products. The light show before the game and the videos shown during all the TV timeouts were entertaining. Overall, we'd go to another frozen four, but the price may be a bit more than what the experience is worth.

Championship college hockey makes skilled veteran hockey player coaches jump up and cheer for their teams. Even the most dispassionate, are passionate at these games.

The Frozen Four 2018 was full of awesome hockey, great sportsmanship in a top notch facility and town.

Can never complain. Always fun! Great place to watch hockey. Should be in St. Paul more often

The event was outstanding. The pregame festivities and outside "kids zone" was a great hit with my son. All the activities, challenges and refreshments were a win. Only feed back to United Center is to restrict more on fans going to seats during play. Also tickets may have been overpriced for lots of lower bowl seats were empty.

As a huge hockey fan living in Illinois, I was really happy when the Frozen Four came to Chicago....but I never knew how big of an event it was! From the festival outside to the games itself. There were so many people across this country and worldwide visiting and all of them said how much it meant to them to attend. Some people went every year, too. So I really had a great feel for what a cool hockey tournament this was. The games itself were fantastic....every game was a must-win and you could see the passion, energy and heart in each player as they took the ice. From seeing NHL, US/Canadian juniors and college hockey, this ranks as one of the best three games I've ever seen.

Game was great. Tickets were great. Will call was a breeze.

Outstanding event. Consol looked great. Games were exciting.

I am tired of the NCAA's policy of not serving beer during their events. I drink responsibly & enjoy having a beer at a game. The vendors ask for identification at all other events at Consol, so underage drinking should not be a concern. Consol doesn't even have Pepsi or Coke. They have RC Cola. RC?! Really?! I thought that company went out of business decades ago. On the bright side, the hockey was good.

Great event to attend, crowd and environment is enthralling

It was fun. Tampa did a nice job hosting and the college fan atmosphere was great. The Championship game was great!

The Frozen Four was a great experience for me and the thousands of others who participated. The city of Tampa and the organizers should be proud of the great job they did in hosting the event. It would be nice to have it there again.

Orignally thought it would not feel like a hockey event being held in Florida but the facilities and the surrounding amenities were outstanding. Couldn't beat the weather either. Also, was able to watch in standing area on first level rather than sit in my seats (3rd level)

Tampa was great! The event seemed well run and seamless. Would highly recommend & would definitely attend an event there again!

I've been there many times for hockey and other events. Parking is affordable and plentiful. Area restaurants are great with something for everyone.

This was the first time I attended a Frozen Four event where my seats were closer to the sealing than the ice. Very disappointed this year.

An awesome venue, the Tampa Bay Times Forum. The tesla coils were phenomenal! The hockey was clean, fast and excellent. The energy of the individual schools fans was contagious. Remember to wear your own schools colors -- no matter if they made it this far or not!

Fun event. Great hockey. However, Tampa Bay Forum was very disappointing. Food and drink was overpriced and food staff were extremely rude.

Event was spectacular for college hockey fans. Even if your horse is not in the race it doesn't matter the games are quality. Not to mention there are fans from all over the country talking stats, changes in rules, and other college hockey topics. It is educational as well as fun.

The Frozen Four event was amazing this year. We are seriously considering making this a yearly event. Although next year's finals in Tampa does not necessarily excite us as a great locale for hockey. The semis and the finals were extremely close and very exciting. It was great to see the spirit of fans from around the country for hockey and college hockey in particular. We were disappointed in the schedule for the Friday night events and did not go, when I have gone previously. No skills competition to accompany to Hobey Baker award. The advertising for the Friday Night Event made it sound very boring and not very interacting or exciting. The games themselves were wonderful. They could have served better food items though at the Xcel Energy Center. We had to eat elsewhere first. Would recommend the Frozen Four in general. Very similar to the experience of the Olympics.
