Theory of a Deadman

Canadian rockers Theory Of A Deadman are back with another batch of odes to hard partying, hard drinking, beautiful women, and living life like there’s no tomorrow. The band’s music is down-and-dirty rock and roll done right, mixed with some swampy blues riffs and a healthy serving of good-ol’-boy country – and they have concerts to match. With booming bass drums, high-impact guitars and stadiums and arenas packed with Deadman fans who are there to party, this is one of the best rock tickets in town. It’s not all high-energy madness, though.

Although this was the 6th time seeing T.O.A.D. it was certainly a step up from the last time. Tyler Connolly was a great host with the introductions to the songs and the video's in the background were a plus. The crowd was involved in the music as it was a blend of the old songs with about three new songs. It was a sold out concert and when they come back I will be there again.

What a great night! First time seeing all 3 bands, never heard of the first 2 and thought they were great! Theory of a Deadman rocked the house and put on an awesome show! This was my last night of summer fun, am now laid up for the rest of the summer and I have absolutely no regrets spending it rocking out to all 3 bands!!

The band was as great as I heard they would be. They sounded good, played their most popular songs and really rocked Peire's. Too many tickets were sold, overcrowded, a couple of people were knocked down. And Peire's needs to use their airconditioning. I will still see shows there but not sure I would highly recommend Peire's any longer.

Meeting the band was great! I have been a fan for a very long time and had never had the opportunity to go to a concert. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to meet the band! Tyler was even more adorable up close and personal. With the meet and greet passes, I got to take home tons of goodies from meeting the band, pictures with the band, autographs, VIP Lamenet (my first ever), and snagged a pick as well. We were also standing right up front and center next to the stage, which made the performance right up close and personal and even more special. The band was very polite and gracious with their fans, and very appreciative of them, which makes me respect them even more. It was their down to earth personalities with their fans that made me feel comfortable with spending my (very limited spree) money on their show. I would definitely purchase meet and greet passes for another show the next time Theory is back in town, which I hope isn't a long time! I was too chicken to be that "awkward" fan and ask for a hug! Haha... Definitely next time!

I love Theory and have seen/met them countless times. I did not really like the set up of the meet and greet though. People that paid got into the meet and greet after contest winners, the band walked by us and signed a poster & then we got pictures with the band that turned out horribly because they had us in a room with hardly any lights on. I did not think that was worth the extra money. The show was awesome though - Adelita's Way did an excellent show again, also. These are great bands to see live!

The meet and greet was cool. getting to have Tyler and Dave's arms around me was cool, just wish my picture was not blurry (was taken on my phone but the guy didn't know how to use it good). I was able to be right up front on the rail. it was very cool to be that close to the action. I just wish there were not so many drunks. I had beer spilled on my a few times but it was still a good time.

I have loved Theory Of A Deadman since the first time I heard their music. I got to see them live when they opened for 3 Doors Down in Roanoke, Virginia. I went to that show just to see them! They were amazing! I was so blown away by them, that I didn't even stay for 3 Doors Down! I am going to see them again in Cincinnatti, Ohio on July 29th. I can't wait! This time, I hope I can get Meet & Greet tickets! I would love the chance to tell Tyler and the band how their lyrics speak to me!

doing a meet n greet with Theory of a Deadman was amazing! Tyler, Dave, Dean, & Joey were great to chat with and hang out for a bit before the concert started. They are super kool and funny guyz! The concert started with Pop Evil, which I have to admit I had heard about them by name and by songs that I liked without knowing they were the ones that singed them. Gotta admit they blew me away... they are an awesome band!!! I'm a fan! TOADM was incredible... I rocked out to them the whole time, they had a good variety of songs from way back n now... It was just amazingly awesome! Totally recommend ppl go to their concert!

I love to hear Pop Evil live. They have so much energy and play with such conviction. They played around the time Adam Yauch from the Beastie Boys passed away, and to pay their respect, Pop Evil played "Fight for your right to Party", that was the icing on an already incredible set. Theory of a Deadman sounded so flat after Pop Evil. I do love the album versions of many TOAD songs, but they just didn't have it that night I guess.

Stellar Revival opened the show with a 'stellar' performance. This band performed a fun set proving we haven't heard the last of them. Pop Evil followed with an exciting show. The lead singer, Leigh Kakaty, interacted with the crowd by standing on the hands of the audience. Their set was non-stop music that seemed to go by too quick. Theory of a Deadman soon followed both act playing a good mix of the new album, The Truth Is, and Scars & Souvenirs. The band also performed a classic from their debut album, Theory of a Deadman. There were just a few technical flaws that hindered the performance. The bass was so overpowering, that it was difficult to hear Tyler's vocals. Fix the volumes and everything would have been awesome. Overall I would recommend this show.

The ONLY reason that I did not give this a 5 star rating is because TOAD should have NEVER been the headliner. I do like their songs, however their show is not upbeat enough. I wanna give mad props to Stellar Revival!!! Best opening band in a long long time. Great guys and awesome tunes. Stand out of the night was Pop Evil. 3rd time seeing these guys....they should have been the headliner!!!! Always amazing energy from them and the response from the crowd also!!!

Drove 3 hours to see this show,my 3rd Theory show. I love this band and will go see them whenever they are close enough. I park myself right in front of Daves part of the stage. I love Tylers stage presence. Such a great night. Also I loooove Pop Evil and seeing and hearing Stellar Revival for the first time. This was a fantastic show. Always worth it.

I was completely overwhelmed by this concert. It was incredible. Every band rocked their asses off and were awesome. Our concert was originally supposed to be at the Pier Six Pavillion but due to flash flooding it was moved to Rams Head Live. This was the first time I purchased VIP tickets for a concert and it was more than worth it! My girlfriend and I were one of the few that were able to Meet Theory of a Deadman backstage and it awesome. One of the greatest highlights in my life. I always have a great time at Rams Head Live, it's close by and it's a great set up. It's one of my favorite venues. The crowd went wild and began throwing each other up towards the stage. It was hilarious. This was one of the best rock concert experiences I've ever had. I want to thank all the musicians for putting on one hell of show! Rock on!

All of the bands were great for this show. Had never seen the first three but was pleasantly surprised by the talent. Emphatic's vocalist has a great sound and overall liked most of what they played. Absolutely loved AdWay, fantastic guitarist. BSC, another surprise in the lead singer and guitarist. He has like an old bluesy voice that I would definitely see again. Of course AlterBridge was the real reason I was there and as always they were incredible, but I'm always disappointed in the time allotted them. I wish they would headline so they would do some of their more obscure songs. I'd love to hear New Way to Live and Burn it Down. Plus saw that at a show just a few days prior Mysled did Broken Wings. Now why couldn't they do that in Charlotte!?! Theory was great too, but wish they had done more of the songs I like. The venue is definitely one of the best I've ever attended and would definitely go there again. Security was good, layout great. There's not a place 'in the house' that you can't see well. Easy access of 85 and easy to get back out. Great show, great venue!

This was my 20th Alter Bridge concert, and like the 19 before, it didn't disappoint. The only reason I didn't give this show 5 stars was because Alter Bridge didn't play a full set. Theory should have been left off this bill. Because Alter Bridge were "co-headliners" they only played about 50 minutes. Also Black Stone Cherry, who played before Alter Bridge, are a terrific live band, and this show was one of, if not their best live performance I've seen of them.

The show opened with an Orlando local band called Leaving Haven. They did an incredible job and I can t wait to see them grow! Theory of a Deadman did not disappoint. The only reason I give this a 4 star is because I chose to make dinner reservations for the House of Blues restaurant before the concert and they were way delayed...and the food was not great! But other then that, the actual concert and staff for the concert were friendly and amazing! Will go back for more concerts for sure!

Masquerade Heaven is a small venue but it makes for a nice intimate concert which isn't always the case when seeing someone like Theory of a Deadman. We've been to a couple concerts here and really enjoyed them. If a band you like is coming to Masquerade definitely go see them. You won't be disappointed!

It has been a while since I have been to a concert and this was my first time at the Chameleon Club. I absolutely loved my experience! We were at the highest level, right in front and could still see so well!!! It wasn't super crowded. My only two suggestions for the Chameleon Club would be to get air conditioning and to update their sound system!! But it was awesome!

It's so nice to see a band when they're absolutely on top of their game. Theory of a Deadman did a fantastic 90 minutes in King of Prussia, and even attendees that weren't really fans of the band left as fans of the band. First of all, the Mercury Ballroom is an awesome venue. I had never been there before, and it is clean, service is great, parking is across the street and cheap, and there are many restaurants within two blocks. Theory is my favorite band. We're from out of town and saw Theory was in Pitt our last day. Enjoyed the show. 25 bucks for 3 bands (two openers, whether or not you new of them or liked them is irrelevant at that price). Band played indoors, venue was excellent. Didn't wait long for drinks, bathrooms were easy in and out and access to an outdoor area for a breather or quick smoke. Theory sounds great live, and we're jamming. Great night in Pittsburgh overall.

The bands were all amazing, but the venue seemed to be having sound issues. By the last song, the vocals sounded distorted from the speakers. We were also all packed into a small bar like area though there appeared to be an outdoor stage and the weather was great conditions to be outdoors. Other than being cramped for the amount of people, the indoor setup was nice and the decorations on the wall were fantastic.

Concert started at 7 PM, and Theory went on at 9:50, it was Sunday, really not necessary to have two opening acts for 3 hours. Theory of a Deadman was awesome, not sure why in July it was inside and not on summer stage.

Theory Of A Deadman Is one of my favorite bands this was my third time seeing them I've been listening to them since the beginning. I don't know the 2 bands the had open for them but they were pretty good as well

Was really excited about seeing the band, to only see them for less than 30 minutes. The opening bad was on longer than Theory of a Deadman. If all the shows are going to be like that, I won t pay to see anyone else.
