The WILD FEATHERS self titled debut album dropped in August of 2013. I loved the album - it's solid from start to finish. Then it was off to You Tube for some visuals. Many times the new bands don't have a lot of vids up yet which can be challenging as far as circulating their work via social networking. If your a band and you don't have at least a couple of good vids up your missing out on a massive tool to grow your fan base. They don't have to be fancy- the band playing live or in a radio station studio are great. Many times these are better than fancy- artsy- official videos. SOUND QUALITY IS HUGE when posting a vid. Anyway- the WILD FEATHERS had a bunch of great vids in place so good for them. Next- see them live! Conveniently they were opening for ZZ WARD a month away so I got tickets. The IRVING PLAZA besides being an iconic club is also one of my favorites. It's a medium size club around 750 capacity. First rate club! Never had a bad club experience there. The WILD FEATHERS put on a great show especially for a supporting act. I was a little disappointed that RICKY YOUNG did not join the band for the meet and greet after their set. I kinda got the impression from his aforementioned absence and body language that his ego needs some adjusting. Just my perception! Originally it was the FEATHERS that drew me to this show. But by showtime I had developed a real liking for the work of ZZ WARD as well. Needless to say we stayed for her set and she was outstanding! I love it when I can see two up and coming talents in one show!

The opportunity to be at Lawson's first show in New York city was one of those "once in a lifetime" kind of things and I'm so excited I can say I was there. Not to mention the chance to see Kevin Jonas and the rest of the Married to Jonas crew, who attended to support one of their own, Mikey DeLeasa (the opening act). The show was amazing. After waiting in the cold and rain for four hours, I was blessed with a front row spot. I touched the stage the entire show. The venue was well controlled (once we actually got inside) and the music was amazing. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Venue Sucked, we were treated like cattle, searched and many fans thrown out within minutes of entering. We were told we had to check out jackets even though we smoke and it was pouring. But the show was fun, all 3 acts were awesome. Lots of hald naked young rave scene with glow sticks and animal hats. Most of the people were chill and the music was energetic and had almost everyone moving. Was dispapointed to see it end so soon at 2.30 since everyone was still rollin pretty hard.

This was my 5th Landau concert. I first heard Landau live shortly after he won America's Got Talent in 2011. We drove over 2 hours to attend the concert in Morgantown. We have NEVER been disappointed. If you have not been to one of Landau s concert, you must go!

Sharon Corr is a multi-talented musician with an angelic voice. To go along with her beautiful voice, she is an expert violinist and plays the piano as well. To top it all off, she is gorgeous. Why so few people know who she is or even who The Corrs are is a mystery. This show is well done, with a variety of music and includes a few of the old Corrs songs. The sound quality is excellent and balanced. Her backup band complements her very well. This show is a real treat... worth every penny.

Lyle's first performance at The Pageant was everything I hoped for: a wide-ranging review of 30 years of the insightful tunes with his unique urbane cowpoke perspective, always holding on to his Western Swing roots. I enjoyed watching/listening to Russ Kunkel play his magic drum kit. His chops, always tasty, have become more austere since his Jackson Browne days. Every percussive strike was precise and perfectly executed. Guitar and fiddle sidemen, Keith Sewell and Luke Bulla, both born to sing tenor provided the depth needed to give texture to Lyle's songs. The surprise of the evening was bassist Viktor Krauss (sibling of Alison Krause) who blazed up and down the fretboard of his doghouse bass without so much as a glance; a true artist.

Happened to catch this EDM trio opening for Porter Robinson on his Spitfire tour. For an artist who had very little material at the time, they managed to make their set not only interesting, but memorable! The M Machine's stage was backlit by an enormous M (their logo) composed of a few dozen square panels. This provided a nice respite from the usual wall of LEDs that most artists use. The visuals were simple but captivating, including one part where they used the panels as blocks and simulated a Tetris game. The music itself was wonderful, they stretched and cut the songs "Promise Me a Rose Garden" and "Glow" to extend throughout their entire set while throwing in other material that I couldn't name at the time including a single released recently "No Fun Intended". In short, I'd say my initial feeling from The M Machine was one of Modest Mouse blended seamlessly with modern EDM elements. They had a very refined look in formal clothing (vests, collared shirts) and generally had a unique feel about them. With the recent release of their "Metropolis Pt.1" EP on OWSLA Records, I'd definitely suggest keeping an eye on these guys in the very near future.

I have seen Wayne with Static-X and solo as well, and he puts on an energetic show everytime. I like that he plays classic hits from Static-X even though he is no longer with them, much as Rob Zombie plays White Zombie songs. I would easily recommend him to anyone and have done so many times and have brought friends and had them listen to his music and none have been dissappointed. His wife Tara Wrey Static dances onstage as well and puts on a good show, I haven't been to any other rock show that had girls dancing around onstage other than Rob Zombie :) Keep it up Wayne and we will be there everytime you come through town!

I first discovered their album in a bin at work and instantly fall in love. Every track is great! Then I saw them live at Culture Collide back in October and they blew me away, their performance left me wanting more. When I saw they were playing at the El Rey I bought my tickets right away and sure enough they did NOT disappoint. Their energy was amazing and they put on such a great live show! can't wait to see them again!
