I bought my husband tickets for his birthday. We both had a great time. Jon's voice is still amazing and Jean Leuc was mesmerizing on the violin. Together they made an awesome performance. I bought the CD/DVD set and have already listened to it several times. I would recommend anyone going to see The Anderson Ponty Band!!

This was a great show. An interesting pairing of Anderson and Ponty. If they were to come back through town again this year I wo go. Also - the Pageant is a great venue.

Incredible concert Tuesday night in Minnesota... APB- Anderson Ponty Band. I've been a 40+ year fan of, and have seen Jon Anderson in concert many, many times (as a member of YES), but was never able to see a Jean Luc Ponty concert, (also a very longtime fan of). These two exceptional talents fused together was nothing short of exceptional. The Ponty band members were equally sharp and impressive. If anybody has the opportunity to catch this tour in the short time remaining, do it! You will definitly not regret it.

Started out slow and awkward, but definitely improved throughout the evening. Would have liked to have heard more original Yes and JLP solo songs.

We had seen them in Detroit six months ago. This was far better. Jon seemed happier than he did then and the audience seemed more receptive. Jean Luc was in fine form. They are a wonderful combination. The "backing" band is incredible too. It works so well because they all respect each other. I like the words Jon has added to some of Jean Luc's music. But one of the most beautiful pieces was Jon's new version of "Long Distance Runaround." Very moving tribute to Chris Squire. Thanks guys.

My wife and I enjoyed the show very much. Jon Anderson is my favorite "Rock" performer and regardless of any technical issues or the age of the musicians the show was great and the music was magical. Yes it could have been mixed better, and my seats were not optimal (see below), but we always love seeing Jon sing. With Jean-Luc, it was wonderful and special and the music they created was magical. But for the bad news: I am disabled and I was very disappointed in the seating locations that are available to us PEOPLE in wheelchairs. Not only was I located at the farthest table to the right side on the 3rd tier, but I was given a "seat" at one corner and my companion was given the seat at the complete opposite corner of the table ( She was seat 1 and I was seat 6). To all venues and artists: Please remember that us disabled would like to 'be in the middle' just as much as anyone else.

Fantastic combination of star power and musicianship. I initially made the investment to see Jon Anderson sing some Yes, which was great . However, the Anderson Ponty original collaboration has become some of my favorite material. Jean Luc's violin was splendid and Jonny A's voice is timeless, their combination makes for a unique blend of jazz, new age, and progressive rock. I could not get enough and I hope they do another album and tour.

This was our first time at the Ames Center. A very enjoyable evening. AndersonPonty Band did not disappoint. Sound levels were appropriate. The musicians were top notch. We especially liked to ease of locating the venue & the close parking. We will return for future events.

I was able to see the AndersonPonty band at the Ames Center in Burnsville MN. Very Very tight band - they were having a lot of fun and it showed in the performance. The Drum solo by Rayford Griffin was worthy of the lengthy standing ovation it received. Fantastic. Jon Anderson is in fine voice and seemed to relish the fresh take on some classic material.

As a small venue such as the Ames Center was really a great place to see them at. To see Jon Anderson up close (3rd row seats!) and see his true enjoyment of performing was fantastic. Have seen Yes a half dozen times over the years and still wish he was a part of that group. He always will be in my eyes and ears.

Saw APB late last November at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, and had so much fun that I decided to treat myself and see them behind the Orange Curtain. So glad I did...another amazing, magical evening. Jon's voice is still in fine form, and Jean Luc's band is incredible. There were several transcendent moments, where the band just took you to a different atmosphere (longtime Yes fans know what I'm talking about)... Cases in point -- State of Independence & And You and I. The set list was essentially the same as that from the Beverly Hills show, and covered a great variety of both artists' catalogues. Pure bliss. My only (very very minor) complaint was the drum solo -- way too long. To think that Jon may be joining forces with Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman soon is very exciting, but I certainly hope he keeps collaborating with the Ponty Band -- they really click as a group.

Jean Luc Ponty was the highlight for me: He is simply amazing live. Jon Anderson still has it and the rest of the band were all first rate musicians. Fantastic show!

The place wasn't that crowded because I think no one knew who they were.....if they knew it would've been packed!! It was totally awesome!! Loved the Yes songs with the added electric violin of Ponty..... not to mention he was awesome all on his own!!

I hate to give only 3 stars to a concert that truly had many awesome moments. Jon Anderson sounded great - hard to believe his voice still sounds the same as earlier 'Yes' days. He still has that 'delightful', 'love is all there is' stage presence with short ramblings full of utter nonsense, but that's what we love about him. I had not seen Jean Luc Ponty prior to this so was quite impressed with him and his approach to all the songs. The band members were all experts at their craft and also visibly enjoying their performance. The problems were in the sound and some of the song selections. The bass player was excellent, but the sound of the bass really was bad any time it was out in front. I'm thinking this had to be the sound system or the guys managing the sound. It just wasn't dialed in correctly. The same thing any time the guitarist switched to acoustic guitar where it was out in front of the mix. Clickety clackety sound of the strings behind the notes. That was the problem with the bass sound too - this clicking sound behind the actual notes. The drummer was an obvious wizard, but they chose to use that 'tuned' drum sound which can really sound interesting and perfect, but takes away the sense of live music. It sort of worked but I just don't really like it - sounds so 'recorded'. They did some very innovative versions of several 'Yes' songs and many were definitely awesome. I liked all the non-yes songs since I hadn't heard them before so I assume they belong to Ponty. I think they tried too hard to please hard core Yes fans by playing some hits that weren't really good for this configuration. That was really apparent at the end where to me the concert descended into a kind of best-hits bash to give Yes fans a reason to stand up and cheer. I truly would go and see this same concert again just for the awesome moments it did have but I can't give it higher than a 3 because of the negatives.

Great musicianship as expected from the members in the band. Jon and Jean Luc have put together a fantastic group of players, touching on the Yes material traditional as well as new arrangements. Jon is a true gentleman for paying tribute to Chris Squire and dedicating "and you and I " to him. Also it was great hearing the band doing "soon"...never thought I would hear that live again. If you can go....GO!

The group has been doing this long enough that they sound like a tight, established band. The songs are now more well played than they were on the album, with all of the instruments meshing perfectly. It was great to hear new music that is as good as the old Yes songs, but with a new direction. The musicianship was incredible all around. Jon Anderson's vocals were spot on and he sounded as good as ever. Jean Luc Ponty was absolutely amazing with jaw dropping solos on almost every song. The band members were each incredible players, and the instrumental songs and solos were a real highlight of the show as these musicians were able to let loose. I also enjoyed the more acoustic songs, played with a cajon instead of a drum kit. The Yes songs were all new arrangements, which made them a lot more interesting than if they had instead just copied the originals. This band easily had the talent to do that, but they chose the better path. This gave the Yes songs new life, rather than just eliciting nostalgia. However, and despite being a long time Yes fan, I actually enjoyed the new songs more. Although I had listened to the album many times, seeing them played live really highlighted how well written they are, and how musically complex they are. Only a band with this level of talent could pull off these songs. There were a few mistakes, such as Jon confusing the words on LDR, but that just lent a bit of humanity to the show. Overall, a fantastic show and I hope to see this band again.

First, fantastic show. Both artists were amazing and showed no signs of slowing down. Their two styles meshed well. Spend the money and go. There are aspects of the show that are somewhat amateurish. Lighting and effects were weak, but I wasn't there for a lighting show so not a big deal. However, there was one roadie that felt the need to get on stage during the performance about every 30 seconds to 1 minute to move a cord or adjust something, all of which was completely unnecessary. I found it a huge distraction.

Great show! Jon Anderson still has it, great singer and Jean-Luc Ponty is excellent musician as ever. Definitely need to see this show if you like either artist or are a YES fan. Love Jon's attitude and he talks of a time in the near future where everything is going to be Cool and we all get to see it! New Age Prophet, BELIEVE and SOON it will be!

Well worth it. 1st show of tour. First set took a while to get going, sound was a bit distorted, some of the songs were weak (newer ones just written). But the 2nd set was excellent - there was an acoustic portion that was sweet. A lot of Yes songs. JLP was outstanding. Very good backing band, nice guitar and drums. Jon's voice was spot on as well.

Jon has succeeded as a singer and performer on his own. This was definitely a great performance. His band complements him well and Jean Luc on the violin adds such a classic twist!

I was thrilled to see Jean Luk Ponty who rarely have tours small cities of US. It's my forst ti,e to see him. With Jon Anderson, he played yes music on his jazz style. It was more than 2 hours and 45 minute show including intermission. Jon had the same jacket as he had for Anderson and Wakeman show of 2011 in the second part of the show. They played Ponty;s old jazz music which sounds different because of Jon's vocal. It was enjoyable. Ponty's solo blue electric violin play was amazing. the very last soon 'soon' of yes which was played rock, not jazz style was the best. 'round about' was played rock style of yes also.

Anderson and Ponty sounded Fantastic together. If you have a chance, go see them before they leave your area. If you can't attend one of their shows, at least buy their new album, "Better Late Than Never." I certainly hope that they stay together and put out some more of their wonderful music. By the way, Anderson looks, and sounds, very healthy!

First show on the tour and it was excellent. I heard about the show on a SiriusXM Jim Ladd interview with Jon Anderson about 3 weeks before the concert and checked on ticket availability the next morning. Tour date must have just been scheduled because it didn't even show up on APB's website. Persistence turned up Great seats for a Great price! Jon Anderson still has "it" and Ponty was amazing! Highly recommended! Show started at 8:20 and ended at 10:59, with a 15-20 minute intermission.
