Dear Superstar

Traveled to Montreal (4 hr drive) just to see Ane Brun with Linnea Olsson at L'Astral. It was worth every mile. A magical acoustic concert that I was lucky to witness, she is just amazing, one of the best I've ever seen. I loved the venue -- intimate, but not claustrophobic -- classy and well run, excellent sound. And what a terrific crowd, respectful but with great enthusiasm. The GA cabaret seating was comfortable, we got there early enough to choose a spot.

Aref was great. His beautiful original songs with his unique voice along with his noble and sincere character made it worthy to be there. Sound control was poor and the drummer wasn't as good as the keyboard player. But overall I am very happy to made a trip to torento to see Aref.

The Remains remain the one surviving 60's group (they must be one of the longest-surviving groups with the same personel in rock history) that filled that niche between the British invasion and full-blown psychedlia and folk rock. Their catchy, short, perfectly played tunes really captured that brief era in rock history.

I'm sorry I've waited so long to write this review. I go to about 12-20 shows a year. Finding the best new and rising musical talent is a passion for me. I heard AOIFE O' DONOVAN'S debut solo album FOSSILS in June 2013. I was not familiar with the artist but I was blown away by the album and immediately sought to see her live. I had missed the MERCURY LOUNGE (one of my favorite 250cap clubs in NYC) show by a couple of days and the only opportunity in my area was THE LONGWOOD GARDENS near Philly. First off- the gardens were amazing. If I were a tree I would want to live there. The outdoor music venue was impressive as well- but the most amazing experience that day was AOIFE herself. She is a world class singer- songwriter and the musicians accompanying her where first rate as well. She had amazing stage presence and did a masterful job playing all my favorites from the FOSSILS album. The wheels of music success can turn slowly but I want to go on record and say that AOIFE O' DONOVAN will be a household name within a few years. You can still catch her at intimate clubs but that window will close soon- don't miss out!

This was a great gig from start to finish! Loved the music and venue (first time at Bowery Ballroom). Natasha Kmeto was fabulous too - pleasee have her back again for a longer set!

The breakdown: -her voice is out of this world, amazing. -the lights and visual effects created a mood within a moment. -guitar rifts to keep it fresh during the melodic ride. -overall, such an experience to be sure, that I got lost down the rabbit hole several times. -go.

The concert was amazing. Buena Fe are a great band. I have experienced many things in life that can be seen reflected in many of his songs.

SHEA ROSE IS AMAZING! I Recommend going to this show. I went to two of her shows already and her stage presence and the way she works the stage is very entertaining! I truly recommend you seeing her live! You won't regret it!..Her music is awesome.

If you don't know Melodime, you must go see them. I'm very suprised they are not more well known but I suspect that will eventually change.

I'm not going to lie, I honestly thought this was going to suck just because people were telling me it was. Boy were they wrong! The second I got through VIP, it started bumping like no other. Starting out with Wolfgang gartner, then seeing flosstradomuss, followed by Krewella, then ending my amazing night with Zeds Dead and wow, what a perfect ending. Sooooo much to talk about this amazing night, but my favorite was being with my friends for the countdown in the dance arena. As my friends are huddled together, hugging and whatnot waiting for the countdown, it finally hit zero. We all kissed, hugged and danced like there was no tomorrow. Again, so much to talk about, but you'll have to be there next year to see it for yourself instead of hearing it from some guy on a review.
