Rutgers Scarlet Knights College Football

I wanted to bring my son to the NEW MEADOWLANDS STADIUM as a gift!! He plays for POP WARNER Football! I wanted to reward him because his TEAM is going to the playoffs and he has worked so hard. I surprised him on Friday night with the tickets to the game!!! What an AWESOME STADIUM!! Our seats were SUPERB!!! We had such an AWESOME time together!!!

Fans were very respectful & the stadium was nice. They do need more hot chocolate stands though now that the weather is getting colder.

It was great to watch a college football game at Meadowlands stadium. First time there for all 4 of us.

Sanu was awesome he had a lot of good plays. He is very fast on his feet.

The New Meadowlands Stadium is a tremendous facility to watch an event but I have two criticisms. I do not understand why they erected 4 giant replay screens and then they don't show replays. Also, there is a need for ushers to perform the role of ushers. Late comers should have to wait for stoppage of play to be seated. They should not be allowed to stand in the aisles obstructing views while they try to decide where their seats might be. I missed at least 6 of the first 15 plays. The game itself was not well played but overtime is always exciting. As a Rutgers grad I was relieved that RU was able to get a W but Army outplayed them. It is good to see Army's program back on the right track. Best of luck to the Army team. Finally and most importantly, please keep Eric LeGrand and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Wow. What a disappointment! Not the game, the venue. I was so looking forward to a high-tech luxurious football stadium but instead, stumbled upon this industrial looking 1/2 finished mess in the meadowlands with absolutely no character or charisma at all. The seats were so tight that you can't lift your cup to your mouth without asking the person next to you to move their arm out of the way! Bathrooms were gross and the concessions stands were outrageously expensive and depressingly ugly like the entire stadium. Considering this was a game between NJ's Team and the Military - there wasn't anything vaguely NJ about the venue and there wasn't even a flag for the National Anthem at a military game! Are you kidding me???

Great game until the final score was posted. I'm a major Army fan and they did everything right until the 4th quarter. I think they got tight and maybe a little tired. I give Ruthers credit, they didn't panic and did what it took to get back in the game and win in OT. **Note: the horrific collision during the Army kickoff run back was very tragic. I've heard the Rutgers kid is in bad shape. Our family is praying for him and his family.

Nicest, most comfortable seats I have sat in at an outdoor arena. Rutgers and Army played a great game. We had great seats in the New Meadowlands Stadium. I am proud MetLife is a corporate sponsor. Loved the big sreens throughout the stadium. Even a TV in the elevator! Surprised and disappointed that the Army players were not announced and the Army band did not perform on the field. Could have used some more replays on those big screens too.

It was fun to be attending the 1st College football game in the New Giant's Stadium. It took about a quarter of the game for them to get their act together with instant replay and play by play, but that was decent after they got it going. Would have liked to see a real American Flag for the Natl. Anthem. Parking of $25 is outrageous. Seats are small and we had to stand every time someone wanted to pass. Game was good and we are praying for LeGrand!

I enjoyed this game due to the fact that I had great seats at the 50 yard line front row seats. Ticketmaster was great on delivery.

Rutgers-Army was a great game but the New Meadowlands Stadium is a joke. The seats on the 50 yard line were small with no leg room at all. I'm all of 5'10" and I have bruises on my knees from the seat in front of me. EVERYONE was complaining about it.

Good football game....Rutgers a little shaky in the first half..........they should do a better job at clock management.......too many falsse start penalities with that offense changing plays at the last minute. But hats off to RU for winning in OT. Thoughts and prayers go out to Eric LeGrand for a full recovery .........

Terrible job admitting people into the stadium. It took us 35 minutes to enter the gates due to only one person scanning the customers. After many people expressed their displeasure, another person was sent to help and this helped a bit, but it was still way too long!

What a great performance by the Scarlet Knights especially with Dodd at quarterback replacing the injured Savage. Perfect weather and great seats for a college football game.

The game was great. Traveling to the meadowlands was nerve racking and stressful. The prices for food and beverages seemed very high for a college game, not to mention the hot dogs were not near as good as they are in Piscataway. This was my first visit to the new stadium so I was happy to get a chance to experience it. Very sterile environment, but I guess that is necessary to be able to change the look overnight from Giants, to Jets, to Scarlet Knights. I hope transportation was provided for students, after all it is about them, and education. I can't stop thinking about about Eric, however, God bless him! I would definetly do this again.

Perfect day wonderful stadium a most of all. Way to go Rutgers!

It looked like 40,000 of the 41,292 that attended the game were Rutgers fans !

Seats were great game was great .I only wish Eric LaGrand didn't get hurt, our prayers go out to him and his family.

Having access to this Club makes the expense totally worth it. Luckily my employeer is one fo the gate sponsors so I got a great deal but getting to experience it will surely make me purchase this same option for NFL games. There is almost no concession line and I could see this being perfect for those late season Giants/Jets games when its freezing and you need to warm up for a minute. I imagine its much busier during NFL games but its still recommended to try.

The event itself was okay. Stadium was half empty, but you can't really expect anything else when two .500 teams are playing. Biggest pet peeve was that tickets were sold at half price the day before the game. Those of us who bought in advance ended up paying double. I'm certainly not happy with this, and this will likely be my last RU event at the Meadowlands.

Great seats. Very close to field. Concession and bathroom lines were very long, but moved ok. Big drawback - getting out of stadium parking lot after the game. No traffic movement - took almost 1 hour to exit!!! Absolute gridlock. Need traffic guards to stop traffic on service roads around stadium and let cars in rows exit parking lot and enter the traffic flow on service roads. Also, stadium speakers weren't as clear - or announcer mumbled. Hard to understand what was being said.

Rutgers was able to win a very sloppy game via an exciting finish. The win was diminished by the severe C-3, C-4 spinal injury suffered by Rutgers Eric LeGrand. He remains paralyzed. Please remember him, his family and the RU "FAMILY" in your thoughts and prayers.

great game, unfortunately marred by a serious injury to a Rutgers kid. Disappointed by the stadium. No personality like Citifield.

The new stadium was great! The one draw back was the cost of a bottled beer which was 9.75. The price of all food and drink items were extremely high.

My husband and I had a great time the seats were great! Spent a great evening with great friends.

What a great experience! Kids had a ball. Ticket reps were very friendly when I had to move my seats to get an extra for my kid. Thanks would go again.

Had a great time at this game and thought it was fantastic that ticketmaster offered tickets at 50% off when the game got closer.

Took way too long just to park when most of the people were already tailgating? What happens when a superbowl is played there?? They were slow and not enough staff to help with the lines, even worst the day was windy and yet no coffee and if you want hot chocolate you needed to stand in another line.

The New Meadowlands stadium is awesome. The game was great!
