Two-time Emmy award winner Louie Anderson is one of the country's most recognized and adored comics and was named by Comedy Central as "One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time."Currently he is headlining in his own show, "Louie-Larger Than Life" at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on the famed Las Vegas Strip.Anderson began his career at a comedy club in his native Minneapolis, when on a dare from friends; he got up on stage and performed.His big break came in 1984 when he appeared on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" who was so impressed with the comic; he called him out for a rare and coveted "second bow.

Louie Anderson gave a stellar performance on New Year's Eve at the Ames Center in Burnsville, MN, to the delight of the full house. The laughter was deafening and contagious. Louie has never been in better form and does not need to resort to profanity to be hilarious. His heartfelt thanks to the hometown, Minnesota crowd at the close of his performance was genuine and appreciated. There is no better comedian out there!!

He was a laugh for every joke. No four letter words. His jokes come from every day life experiences, which we all have had. But, he reminds you of them in such a funny manner, that you will not stop laughing. And, this is from the show beginning to the show end. You never get to rest from laughing. The audience was roaring with constant laughter. You will remember some of his jokes for years to come. Then you will start laughing to yourself until you have tears running down your face. I will check out his podcasts, just so I can hear some more Louie Anderson. FIVE stars is not a high enough rating for this first class, "one of a kind", BRILLIANT comedienne.

We see many shows in Atlantic City and many comedy acts as well. To us this probably was one of the most boring shows ever. It's not easy to deliver 1 hour and 15 minutes of comedy, but we think that he used to be better at it in the past ( we have seen him on TV and You Tube). He needs to put a lot more spice in his lines.

Louie Anderson can still make people laugh without resorting to crude/profane humor. One of his greatest gifts is using everyday events in such a humorous way that everyone finds them funny. We've been fans of his for a long time and still find him to be as talented as ever. His show at Trump did not disappoint.

I saw Louie two years ago while here in Vegas and brought a friend this time who had not seen him live before. My cheeks still hurt this morning, as do hers from laughing consistently for nearly 90 minutes. I just love his everyday events humour and his reflection of things gone by. I would higly recommend this very funny fellow. Worth every dime!!

Parents, aging, and food addictions- something we all have to deal with in our lives,,, and Louie Anderson brings it all home while stealing our hearts with his larger than life personality. By turns sarcastic and sweet, he reminisces about his frugal mother and grouchy dad, growing up poor in a large family and all the alarming changes we experience as we age. We laughed and laughed and relived some of his best lines on the way home. Anyone would enjoy this show, it is not x-rated, but not exactly G-rated either. Lots of fun!

If you like Louie you have to see him live. He kept the audience laughing the entire time he was on stage. I thought it was a great show!!! We saw Bill Cosby last year, I'm a huge Cosby fan, he's a legend and Louie definitely ranks up there with him.

Very funny, very engaging with the audience. Such a natural comedic talent. The opening acts were very good. The whole evening was great fun. Wait staff were great and the food was good. I highly recommend going to the venue. The size of the room is perfect from any vantage point. Louie was so much fun to listen to and we all throughly enjoyed ourselves.

MY TICKETS ARRIVED AS PROMISED AND THE SETS WE OKEY. LOUIE WAS WONDERFUL AND VERY FUNNY. I'VE WATCH HIM ON TV AND SEEN HIS CARTOON BUT SEEING HIM IN PERSON WAS VERY EXCITING FOR ME. THE CASINO PUT US IN THE BINGO HALL. I DON'T KNOW, I JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE ROOM THEY STUCK US IN. THE REST WAS VERY NICE. I WOULD GO AGAIN. I HAD A GOOD TIME.

I went to this show with my sister who LOVES Louie. It is her favorite comic. I was pleasantly surprised at his show. Very funny and incorporated his standard material with current and new material. It was very entertaining and I enjoyed the show. I just wish more people had shown up.

I saw Louie ANderson years ago in Las Vegas & again last night and I am happy to report that he remains as good as ever. His act is such that anyone in their teens and above would not only get but enjoy. I would highly reccomend Louie Anderson to anyone looking for an enjoyable night out. You will laugh & have a good time and you cannot ask much more than that from a comedian.

Louie Anderson is fabulous! I laughed from the time he started talking until he walked off the stage. His whole act is so true to life. I love the way he talks about his parents, and how he jokes about his weight. I talked about his show for days afterward. My husband and I are still using lines from it. "I looked down, and I was going 7 mph!"

I will admit that when we planned going to this event, I wasnt sure if I was going to like it or not. Well...... after 2 minutes into the show, I was so thankful I went. Louie has to be one the funniest people around. So much of his material just hits home, no matter what he has to say. I laughed, I cried and sighed...... It is a show for ALL to attend. My husband and I took my parents and this is the first time EVER I got to see both Mom and Dad laugh their butts off. I want to thank Louie for one of the greatest times Ive had in a long time. A MUST SEE!!

Louie is like your favorite uncle at a family reunion. He tells it like it is about family and causes a few eyebrows to be raised. He must be seen with someone so that you can glance over for eye contact and nod your head in recognition of his truth.

I had seen Louie in LV about 20 yrs ago & thought he was the funniest guy ever. He didn't disappoint this time. His laid back style, his delivery & just a great set. The audience was w/him & it seemed those around me were having a blast. Saw him at The Rose, a newer venue in Pasadena, which I would go back to again.
