Larry David and David Steinberg, in conversation...what? who might care? Well, I'm glad my friend also had an interest, and it was worth it. David S. lead the discussion gently down a chronological path, and Larry D. filled in the story line with a lot of insight into his history. They were very comfortable together, but made sure the audience didn't get lost in their private jokes. They are both great storytellers, with each story having a great punchline or ending.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. It was so spontaneous. The only part that was strange was the questions/answer session from the audience. These questions should have been screened because the people were so strange. Some even seemed like stalkers of Larry David and the audience was creeped out by them. Poor Larry. He tried to be gracious but some of the people were nuts.

For the price of the tickets, this event should have been at least 2 hours long and it was barely 1 hr, 15 min. All of the other events fr NY comedy week were half the price of this event and twice as long. This show seemed to have no structure or prep and was completely off the cuff. While this sometimes works in comedy, in this case it led to a lot of dead air. The "comedy" didn't really pick up until the q & a and that was poorly organized as well. This was a waste of money. I want a refund.
