Saw them open for Senses Fail a few months ago and I really liked them. I have pretty picky taste in music and don't put bands on my ipod that I won't wanna listen to a few times over, but I actually downloaded a few Balance and Composure songs when I got home. They put on a really good show and were really into performing their songs for the crowd. A wonderful suprise to say the least. I would totally see them again if they were playing nearby :]

Balance and composure never seem to disappoint. Every one in the band plays with so much emotion and makes it an enjoyable experience for all. My favorite is when Jon Simmons dances around the stage just moving with the music. If you like their music, a live performance is even better.

I had never heard Foreign Tongues, or Ovlov before, and despite some tech issues, they were both really good. The venue is pretty small and intimate and all of the bands were really interactive with the crowd, and Ovlov was even taking requests. I was right in front of the stage, and at the Port City Music Hall, there are not barriers, which is awesome. Everyone was extremely excited for Balance and Composure and it showed as soon as they came on stage. They were so good, I really hope I get to see them again in the future.

They sounded great live, and the opening bands did a phenomenal job. Overall, I hope they come back to Maine asap, cause I would go see them everytime.

They were incredible live! Along with Seahaven, who I had never heard before. I loved the whole show and the venue was small, but you could stand anywhere and have a decent view.

Ive seen Balance and Composure 3+times now and they NEVER disappoint. One of the best alternative bands out in my opinion, and they are even better live. Ive never seen Seahaven before but after seeing them I will go to every show I can. Highly recommend seeing these two bands live.

I saw these guys open for Coheed & Cambria a few months ago. They weren't bad, but they were kind of forgettable. I honestly can't remember any standout song; they all seemed to sound the same. They didn't have a lot of energy, and my friends and I were on the verge of falling asleep. The rest of the venue seemed to have the same reaction. I guess I'm going to have to give them a second chance; they're opening for Manchester Orchestra in May. Hopefully I'll be able to give them a better review.

Daylight was absolutely amazing, they killed it! Balance and Composure was also incredible and the venue was pretty sweet. Such a good time.

I went to the show and I was super excited cause I was at the front of the crowd for the opening bands, kind of securing my spot for when Balance and Composure came on. And when they did, I didn't really expect it to be as brutal as I thought.. People were stage diving and crowd surfing the entire time, so it was kind of bothersome to have to be looking behind me and preparing so I wouldn't be squished. I hadn't been to a show as rough as this one, and someone landed on my face so my glasses broke, but maybe it was my fault that I wore them to the show in the first place. It was overall an amazing show but I wouldn't recommend it for the younger teens since if you're short, you WILL be pushed and kicked around more than usual. And you should be pretty strong to push away the people bumping into and all that. idk it was really fun

Great NEW venue. Lots of standing room with easy view of the stage, and a balcony for when being on the floor gets too crazy. The opening bands went on a bit long, but all in all really good. Sound was great. A few beers on tap, all beer about $5 each.
