The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones, one of rock's most revered and influential bands, formed in London in 1962. Known for their rebellious spirit and blues-based rock 'n' roll, the Rolling Stones defined themselves as the dark, pessimistic band of the '60s British Invasion. The band is also widely admired for their live shows, due in large part to the entertaining stage performances of lead singer Mick Jagger. Some of the band's hit songs include "Wild Horses," "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Start Me Up.

The Rolling Stones are like fine wine. They only get better with age. Mere words can not describe the life altering experience of seeing them live. The show was phenomenal! Mick Jagger may be turning 72 in just a few days (July 26th) but one would never guess. He still has more energy and vitality than men in their early twenties. Keith, Ronnie, Charlie, and Darryl were on fire too. Bernard Fowler and Lisa Fischer were amazing as always. The 2+ hour show left me wanting more. I will be at the front of the line to buy tickets when they announce their next tour.

The Stones played one fine show at The Ralph. Did the 50th Anniversary in 13 and they played exceptional for the amount of touring they have since the 50th. We baby psychedelic boomers have matured to the Grey ocean as The Stones! Enjoy the boyz' while we still have them. Their is no equal toady to pure Raw rock. They are one of the Best bands ever equal to The Dead, as I am a Tru Deadhead at heart. They just continue to amaze me circa same age for their unstoppable energy and persona. Buffalo U are one lucky town to see a street fighten' band!! Oldskool!!

These guys still got it! They just played all the standards which is what this tour is all about. Start Me Up, Bitch, and Happy were my favorite songs of the set. Also liked Honky Tonk Women and Brown Sugar! Mick entertains not only with his singing, but also with his humor. He hinted that while at Disney World, he had a fling with Cinderella! I don't know how long they can go on, but as long as they can play, I'm there!

I saw the Stones front row at Churchill Downs during their last gig a few years ago. Then I liked them so much that I saw them again in Toronto and in London O2 Arena same tour. I also saw them when I was age 22 several decades ago. They Mick for sure are better now, due to being seasoned and the chemistry he holds with the crowd is magic.

Saw them last time at Garden which was a few years ago thinking it would be their last concert because it was taped for HBO and they were getttin on in years (sorry). Have to say they were amazing - didn't miss a beat. Best concert I have even seen. And they played like they were twenty something and they were (I think) late 60's. How they have the energy - I have no idea and they sounded perfect! Like I said amazing and the fact they are still playing together after all these years is fabulous! Come back to NY soon!!!!!!! Love!!!!!!

EPIC. The Rolling Stones keep on rolling! I have seen the Rolling Stones over 15 times in more than 34 years of touring, and have to say, the band sounded the best I have heard in over 20 years! Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie were in top form, and the energy was fantastic. They genuinely looked like they were having FUN, with their chemistry obvious. Laughing and interacting with each other all night long, they looked at ease and youthful.. yes, youthful! From the 1st notes of the opening Jumping Jack Flash, energy was pulsing through the stadium. Mick's vocals were spot on and hit all the notes, while Charlie and Keith pounded through relentless and powerful rhythm riffs. Ronnie Wood's lead guitar solo's were excellent, providing an extra punch to each song! The back up singers and supporting cast as always were killer. The Duke University Vesper Choir provided a flawless lead in to the classic "You can't always get what you want". as the first encore. Other highlights (beyond the standard classics) were: Out of Control, Shine a Light, Moonlight Mile, Before they make me run, and Midnight Rambler were outstanding fresh renditions as well. Thanks for the memories boys! Hoping to see you again soon.

They just keep "rolling" 2 and half hours of great great music. We can only hope to be able to rock like Mick, Keith, and the gang when we are in our 70s. Brown Sugar took me back to my cousins home in memory as my first rock and roll song.

Drove for 4 hours to get there, took us 2 plus hours to get parked, missed the opening act... And the Stones were just not that great...only played like 19 songs and for what we paid for those tickets... forget it.... never going to see them again and not going back to this venue either.... most mismanaged concert we have ever been to... and we go to a lot of concerts.. a total disappointment , waste of time and money

I can say without a doubt that this was the best concert I've ever attended. I was actually by myself but still enjoyed it entirely. Right when the boys came out the crowd went wild and I did the same. Mick did his classic moves and of course sounded incredible, Keith made me want to learn how to play the guitar and brilliantly covered two songs, Ronnie had me constantly admiring and smiling (he just makes you happy), and Charlie just looked so so cool, the drumming was effortless. I am seriously grateful that I was able to attend this event considering it was in Raleigh, NC and I'm from Miami, FL. It was outstanding to witness one of my favourite bands and since I'm only 20, I was freaking out. And rightfully so. Bottom line: there's a reason TheRollingStones are timeless, they're it.

I couldn't help but squeal and scream as well as I was experiencing the talents of an iconic band. One of my favourite bands to be clear. I'm 20 years old so I was freaking out. Mick did his classic moves and of course sounded great, Keith made me wish I knew how to play the guitar AND covered two songs with lead vocals, Ronnie had me constantly smiling and admiring, and Charlie was just so so cool. What force do the Glimmer Twins tap into that gives them more energy as the night goes on? The power of rock and roll. This was my 7th show and they were all at the top of their game. They all were having fun and Keith and Ron have never sounded better playing off each other. I also appreciated them trying something they hadn't played at other venues (Out of Control). My favorites were Bitch, Honky Tonk Women, Midnight Rambler, Gimme Shelter and You Can't Always Get What You Want and, even though they've played Satisfaction a gazillion times, I've never heard it played with that much energy. It was a musical orgasm!

Hands down (and I've been to many concerts over the years), the Rolling Stones gave the best performance I've EVER experienced. They've been on my bucket list for years. Being in their 70s hasn't stopped them at all. I would go to their concert again tomorrow if possible. Because I gave my tickets to my daughter and her husband as one of their summer birthday presents, I purchased my ticket separately and had to sit alone. Alone? Not hardly. Everyone around me was having a blast and I felt part of every stranger's excitement. We all rocked out. Most fun I've had in ages.

The Rolling Stones gave an unbelievable performance, and not just for their age, they could have been all in their 20s up there. They rocked it with high energy and quality vocals and play through to the end. I would not hesitate to see them again, or 10 more times if I had the opportunity.

While Mick is no longer a "jumping" Jack Flash, he still struts better than anyone ! Keith still has the attitude and the chops ! Ronnie still has the time of his life onstage ! From Ed Sheeran opening to Mick and the boys finishing out the night, the evening at Arrowhead was truly fantastic. This was my 3rd time seeing the Stones and it was, by far, the best of the 3. My only complaint was the massive speakers being in the way of the onstage screens, but their performance more than made up for it. Truly was an unforgettable experience and, if indeed this is their last tour, I'm sooooo happy to have been there "live". Love the Stones!!

Hell yes, the Stones can still deliver & better than ever! Like they are trying to prove themselves, still! Saw them on Voodoo Lounge in Atlanta 1994 & I think they were way more energetic & rocked way harder now than 20 yrs ago. Keith even performed 2 numbers & was smiling all throughout the show! Wild Horses was the only slow song performed & they kept the show hopping all the way thru. Fast paced, fun & exciting feel good show. If you are even hesitating for a second, just know that this could be last time & it is totally worth it!

The Stones were good at my first concert of there's back on 06/22/72 in Kansas City..They're great now. What an incredible concert and show they put on at Arrowhead Stadium on 06/27/15. The sound was excellent. The 3 huge video screens projected images in crystal clear, colorful and sharp HD. It really added to the experience. The group is timeless, I don't know where Mick J. gets his energy. He didn't let up once in over 2 hours. Ron W. and Keith R. seemed to really be enjoying themselves trading guitar licks back and forth. Charlie W. is so laid back and makes it look so easy. It was one of the best concerts I've been to in over 50 years. The Stones show no indications of slowing down one bit. Don't pass up a chance to see them!

AMAZING! This was my 8th time seeing the Stones since starting in the 70's & it was the best! Many of the previous concerts were in Buffalo too! It was very special for me to see them again, I think we have all aged well. I don't know many performers with that much jam! I took my 22 year old daughter with me for the Zip Code tour & she was very impressed, she said it was the best concert ever! Thank you to everyone who helped create the show!!!!!! Because everyone (the crowd and the Stones) knows the window of time is closing, nobody took even a minute for granted. This was my 6th time seeing the Rolling Stones, and it was the absolute best. The weather was perfect. We got there about 5PM and enjoyed food and drinks in the parking lot. We entered the gates about 7PM and went to our seats that were on the floor of the stadium. Finally, the stones arrived and the way they display the show on the huge screens, made you feel like you were in front of the stage. Every set was amazing and so glad that I attended this event. The Stones rocked as I expected them to and then some. Mick has not slowed down one iota, and Keith still has the charm. The rest of the band is just as fantastic. If you have not seen the stones live in concert or think they are too old you have no idea what you're missing. I think they may have a few more U.S. tours left in them if this show was any indication. If not then they definitely have gone out on top and I saw the last show in the U.S. Thanks for the memories with family and friends at the Ralph Orchard Park N.Y. outside Buffalo N.Y. The general admission concept with different price levels was great as we were able to get in when the gates opened at 4 pm and secure an area in the first row to stand in. The Stones were AMAZING! Their show was among the best shows I've seen. Perfect audio mix, and the band really seemed to be having a good time. Stones get 6 stars out of five. The Speedway did a terrible job with the logistics. I can't think of another group I'd be willing to go through the hassles to see. Premier parking was so bad they should refund people's money. They know how to handle big crowds for racing but sure dropped the ball on this show.

The Stones were amazing! Their energy and enthusiasm would rival that of any 20-something. However, the venue gets a grade of zero. Traffic management was non existent. The only helpful personnel were the rickshaw drivers. Knowing that it was festival seating, I didn't have high expectations about the view so no surprise that we could only see the screens. At least we were in the section with grass. Some areas were gravel. Still happy that I went and I enjoyed their performance thoroughly. I had my daughter, son-in-law and three year old granddaughter with me. My granddaughter's assessment: I like Mick Jagers' face. How can you top that?

As always, the Stones delivered. Awesome stage with 3 massive screens for those of us not fortunate enough to actually see them on the stage, lol. Seventeen songs with two finale songs. Sound was great. Even though I would've stood during their entire set anyway, it would've been nice to have actual seats prior to them taking the stage. I'm not a big fan of festival seating. I like having an assigned seat that I know will be mine no matter what time I arrive. Kind of sucks to pay $77 (59.50 + taxes and fees) to stand on rocks. Regrets? Nope. I love the Stones and will endure whatever is necessary to see them.

The venue was setup well, lots of port-o-lets and good concessions. The festival like atmosphere was Ok but would be better on a hill looking down toward the stage than flat ground where you can't actually see the stage only the big screens.

This was my 7th time seeing them & they did not disappoint. The standing-room-only format was different for me but everyone was respectful of our space.

I expected a good performance but everything started being different since the first minute we touch down the location. We tent camping there, we saw a variety of people we two common denominators: to enjoy the Rolling Stones and to celebrate our Independende Day. The Rolling Stones performed at their unique level, they gave all they had. The amazed me with their strength and energy. I cannot wait to have the chance to see th again. If you have the chance, do not hesitate and get your tix.

Still the greatest rock n roll band in the world. Their songs are the music of my life. The 5th time to see them, starting in 1972, and clearly the best. Took my wife and kids, which made it more special, a night they will always remember. Swaying with wife to Tumbling Dice and singing along when Keith did Happy, are classic moments in life. Great night.

The Stones haven't lost anything despite their age. They hit everything right on cue. The venue was orderly and exciting. The only thing I can ask is, "When are they coming back?" Oh, I forgot to mention that the song list was great!

This was my third time seeing The Stones: 1994 in Dallas, 1997 in Albuquerque and 2015 in Raleigh. This was the best of those three shows. I did, however, have the best seat of the three venues in Raleigh. Mick was phenomenal! He ran and jumped around like a person in his 20's. I didn't realize Charlie was shy. Ronnie and Keith are looking a bit ragged but those two can sure play the guitar. I forget the sax player's name but he can wail! And the back up singer during Gimme Shelter was amazing! They played all the best Stones songs! If they could play all their songs would be one hell of a concert!

On our feet for the entire 2 hour show. The songs seem fresh with the extended versions for solos that included guitar, french horn, flute, etc. The band appeared to be happy, healthy, and having fun.

I love the Rolling Stones and I've seen them now 4 times. They never disappoint. The setlist was phenomenal. Played such good hits. Mick has the energy of a twenty year old. The guys keep on strumming. It's magic to see them live. I hope they never stop, never stop!!!

Great show. Great job of paying tribute largely to the Sticky Fingers album, plus a few others. Would have loved to hear Get Off My Cloud in the mix, but everything was great! Tons of energy and You Get What You Need was amazing with the UTA choir accompanying them.

This was my first time watching them live and they were worth every penny...Mick Jagger danced the whole time. His voice is so unique and what you listen in their records is what you get in concerts. The Heinz stadium was great, good crowd...can't ask for more.

What can I say? It was the Stones and they were absolutely amazing as I knew they would be. They are still high energy and Mick still has a great voice. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys are the ultimate rock stars and we'll never see anything like them ever again. They rocked the house for 21/2 hours.

The Rolling Stones brought the house down at Heinz Field. They didn't hit all the notes or cords just right but they are the masters of rock and they pulled it off. The crowd was into the concert from the first minute.

Yes, yes, this was my first time--amazing but true. Have been busy with my life and raising a family. Here I am, 63 years old. The first time I heard "Satisfaction" I was 13. I can remember the exact moment that I heard it--50 years ago. So, now I have the time and money to finally see these incredible artists and poets that have given me so MANY, MANY hours of enjoyment throughout my entire lifetime. Thank you, Mick and Keith, Charlie, and Ronnie---here's to you! The venue was great--it had been drizzling off and on all day. Right after the gates opened at 6:00 and we got inside, it poured for about an hour. After it stopped, we went to our seats (I thought we didn't have very good seats, but they were the only ones under a roof!) We sat down and watched the stage crews dry off the platform where Mick would be running around and dancing. The sun came out and we had a rainbow right before the concert started. It didn't rain again that evening, so when all 55,000 of us left, we didn't get drenched. The people who came to the concert were super--very kind, considerate, thoughtful, patient. I had a very good time! I'm changed--will never be the same again--I'm better, I can feel it! Thanks again, BOYS!

I often hear people say Jagger and Keith Richards aren't going to be around much longer. They have yet to see them in concert. I'm not even really a Rolling Stones fan. I just wanted to see them live to say I had. Because they are living legends. The night of our concert was so hot. I was so impressed with all of their energy on stage. I'm 40 years younger than them and no way do I have that much gusto! For people who love the Stones, they'd love this concert.

#9 time for seeing the Stones and this was a very poor concert due to the sound quality in LP Field. We got Lucky Dip tickets and they were from, I suppose, the Bad Luck box. One row down from the highest row in the stadium and about mid-field, they were only a place to sit. The sound from the stage bounced off a giant jumbo-tron in the rear of the field making for a horrendous, sound echo. Brad Paisley's set was unlistenable due to the stadium acoustics. You could not tell what song he was playing unless you really tried hard, and with trying, it just sounded bad. Sound was better during the Stones set, but still very poor. Any slow song was heard twice. Just poor sound throughout. Not worth it. The traffic after the show was horrible. High parking prices and high beer prices. I should have stayed home and played my old vinyl copy of Undercover. Stadium show>Never again. This list below says my seats were in Row G21, Seats 29 and 30. They were in row HH. Bad view. Couldn't see Charlie or the horn players.

I could not believe how great the Stones were. At 72 years of age you'd think they would have lost some of their vitality. ..not so. Their voices especially were great and they danced around that stage like teenagers. Mick looked fantastic. Acoustics and sound system were good too. It was one of the best nights of my life!

The Rolling Stones are the Grestest Rock and Roll Band of all time, they are Ultimate professionals and seem to just keep getting better. They all appear to be in great shape, especially Mick. They played for a good 2 & 1/2 hours & he never quit dancing the whole time. Brad Paisley was excellent, I always liked his music now I am a big fan, Je can PLAY the guitar. An added bonus was when Joe Walsh & Carrie Underwood joined Brad on stage and sang a few songs. A++++ Show

Venue was great at the LP. Great service and nice people in Nashville. It seemed that the entire town was taken over by The Rolling Stones. They were the talk of the town! Mick Jagger is a great entertainer. There were fireworks along with vibrant back drop lightening to go with the show. Sympathy for the Devil was especially exciting to watch the back drop. Brad Paisley was opening act with guest Joe Walsh and Carrie Underwood. Would do it all over again! Worth the money.

This was my 13th Rolling Stones concert going back to 1975. The one thing that keeps me coming back is that every show is consistently great. So many classic rock bands that I've seen take 2 or 3 songs to get themselves (and the crowd) into the groove. Not the Stones! Whether it's "Start Me Up", which they've used as an opener several times, or "Jumpin' Jack Flash", which was Wednesday's opener, the high energy tone is set from the start and stays there. Mick Jagger was in great voice and gave a clinic on how to engage the nosebleed seats just as well as the front row. Much of the energy comes from him, ageless and thin and nimble as he dances and jives all over the stage. The other engine driving the band is the rhythm section of Charlie Watts and bassist Darryl Jones. They provide a groove that guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood lay those classic riffs on top of. With a canon of songs that play like a history of rock radio, the Rolling Stones never disappoint, and didn't at LP Field. It is not by accident that a band whose members are in their 70's can sell out a stadium on a hot, sticky night in the place known as Music City. If you love rock and roll and have never seen the Rolling Stones, or if you've seen them before but it's been awhile, run, don't walk to one of the remaining shows on this tour. You'll be "Happy" that you did!
