This was the second show I've seen with RRN this year, and they continue to blow me away with their talent. I liked the set they played in Columbus better than the set in Nashville--they included two B sides and a Killers cover, then did an encore of "Growing Up" with Lighthouse and the Whaler. I will make a point of seeing RRN any time they are close to where I live and hope to hear them on the radio more and more.

Poor, poor, poor show. Was not fun at all. Sound was bad, artists were boring, better just listening to the original.

I went to the Baconfest for one reason only, to hear the Bacon Brothers play. I am a big fan of their music. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole event. It was well organized and the food was great too. Only thing that could be improved was the admittance. We had to wait in line for an hour to get in. That sucked.

I loved the venue the short lines free cold water and the restrooms. The music was all great but I think for this type of event/ crowd we needed some more vocals instead of just awesome beats! Hopefully next year there's more options for everyone's taste :-)

Flyleaf & Drowning Pool

We were unable to get there in time to fully see the first opener ("Stars in Stereo") but the tiny bit we were able to catch was really good. Not a huge fan of Drowning Pool so only familar with a few of their songs. But they put on a good show, interact with the crowd, etc. Saw them many years ago in MN (with Seether) and their sound tech was off their game.. horrible. Whomever was in charge of their sound tech did a good job at the Fillmore. I'm sure many were/are concerned with the change of lead singer in Flyleaf. As a diehard fan of Flyleaf it was hard to see Lacy leave, and I was hesitant about Kristen. HOWEVER, she rocked the stage. As my friend pointed out Kristen seemed to interact with the crowd more and she did an awesome job!

SOS Band was the best!!! They should have been allowed to play longer. Cameo was good too but what was wrong with Larry??? He looked like he was hurting. The Dazz Band, LTD, and the Ohio Players were ok. Klymaxx should not perform anymore. They were the worst. Their time could have been used for the SOS Band. Had that happened, I would have given this show more stars.

For Dave Grohl; Founder of "The Foo Fighters", to put together a group of unbelievably talented group of musicians from his new Movie; such as John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks, Lee Vang, Rick Springfield, and of course his boys, "The Foo Fighters" was a show that will be on the list of, "Damn I am glad I went to New York City to see a group of Musicians that was a one time shot"! Dave Grohl played Lead Guitar, Rhythm, Lead Vocals, Backup Vocals, wailed on the Drums, but was so humble, and really let each featured Musician take their moment in the spotlight! I thought it was very cool that although, all the members of The Foo Fighters were on stage all night, not a single Foo Fighter song played; even though The Foo's are one of my all time favorite bands. The Venue was electric, and as I anticipated, John Fogerty brought the House down with His Hits! I was pleasantly surprised to see Rick Springfield rip it up as well as He did back in the early 80's! Stevie Nicks closed out the show with the various Musicians, and sang with true passion. In closing, "Wow what a Killer Show" Kudo's to the mastermind, "Dave Grohl!
