Outstanding show. It was far superior than anything I have seen recently. I wish they would have done a few more songs, Spellbound and Fountain of Life and Fenses and Barriers. Yes I am a real fan for 30 years. Be there when they come back.

Incogniton was great,! However, MAYSA was the "cherry on top of the sundae"!!! Just wish she could have sung more of her solo songs. Also, really enjoyed the opening act Khari featuring India Arie. This was a great surprise. As always, Incognito brings out the "FUNK" in the world of JAZZ! Thnaks for doing what you do - Incognito family....

I enjoyed the entire concert by these talented performers. They seemed to enjoy performing as much as the audience enjoyed them. It was like sitting in on a jam session. Maysa, as well as the other singers were great. My only concern was that the musical sound could have been turned down a bit. It seemed to slightly drown out the vocalists.

Outstanding. I have seen a lot of concerts these last 3 years, but without a doubt this was the best. Terrific performances, wonderful venue, and the best acoustics ever. I have seen Maysa before without Incognito, but she was fantastic as well as the other vocalists. Great musicians throughout, but the keyboard player may be the best I've seen this side of Chick Corea.

I finally got to see my favorite band again, and it was, well, WOW!! Bluey was great, the band was awesome, and it was fabulous to see Maysa back with the group, if only for one night. My only criticism is that while the Cobb Energy Centre is a great venue, Incognito brings so much vibe, energy, and passion to a concert that a different venue that allowed the audience to get up and dance/get swept up by the music would've been better. Maybe someplace like The Tabernacle here in Atlanta. I only hoped that the band was able to feel and feed off of our energy as we were properly restrained by dignity in our seats :( (At one point, I just HAD to get up and move. I walked to the back aisle so I wouldn't block anyone's view and just did my thing :) Thank you for coming to us in the ATL, Incognito! :)

I have been listening to Incognito since the late 80s and have never had the opportunity to see them until now. What a magnificent band. Their music is jazzy, funky, rocky, everything I expected it to be. Come back Bluey, you will always be welcomed in Atlanta.

Great show as usual. The name Incognito is very suitable for this group. It has a coolness about it and that is exactly what this band is -- cool. Maysa was absolutely amazing, Vanessa and the other female vocalist were simply outstanding -- very powerful voices. Everyone in this group is so talented. They all were amazing.

OMG! I have been waiting to see Bluey and the band for over ten plus years now and it was SO WORTH THE WAIT! They definitely did not disappoint! First of all it was good to see and hear Indie Arie but then Incognito featuring Maysa came on stage and it was ELECTRIFYING. Two hours of listening and dancing to REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS. OMG! How have we allowed public schools to take music away from our children? Music saved so many people and to see the diverse crowd at the Cobb Centre was truly a blessing. Maysa, Vanessa and the other vocals were powerful and just wonderful. The entire band, horns, keyboards, percussion, bass, guitar, etc. was just amazing. I was in heaven the whole night. I hope I don't have to wait another ten years before they return to Atlanta. We need to keep REAL MUSIC ALIVE!!!! This is/was the show for 2011!!!!

I've listened to Incognito since I was a child. A few years back, I looked at their concert tours and saw they mainly perform overseas. When CAU announced they would be performing, I totally was on board to seeing them live. It truly was a dream come true. The opening act was great. Incognito was awesome. They performed for 2+ hours with no break. Bluey is the most humble sweet musician I've ever witnessed. The music was genuine, the band was great and the back-up singers were hillarious. I truly enjoyed myself. I would love to see them again. :)

This gig was one of the very best Incognito concerts I've been to (I've been to about 25 all over Europe) and the fact that I saw Chris Ballin on vocals for only the second time was a big part of that. As per usual the band was tight and of course Maysa never ceases to amaze the audience with her voice and grace. With age it seems that Bluey is getting better and funnier in his introductions to the songs. (Loved how he explained Labour Of Love ... yes, Chris is a MAN!). I was also pleasantly surprised by the Cogs playing Parisienne Girl and I think Expresso Madureira could be a new Colibri, where the individual band members can shine. And there is still a lot of shine in the band, between respectably aged performers like Bluey himself, Julian Crampton, keys-muppet Matt Cooper (wicked intense as always) and relative newcomers like Pete Ray (a worthy replacement for, in my mind the best drummer of all time, Richard Bailey) and Lorraine Cato. Vanessa Haynes is really promising to be the next Joy Rose (paging Sting!) and the brass was spectacular and funny (the nerd shuffle always cracks me up). The venue, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, is nice, very nice actually, but doesn't really invite to dancing because the space between the rows of seats are not all that big, but the (some in the) audience tried. This concert was part of a fundraiser for the only Jazz station in Atlanta and it was their biggest event yet! I really hope it was successful and, of course, we will become members of WCLK as well, since it is the only station we have a chance of hearing Incognito on the radio.

Have seen Incognito 4 times at the Berks Jazz Festival over the past 6 years. This concert this past Saturday, April 14th, at the Doubletree Hotel, with Maysa, was the best I have heard them play. Just an excellent concert from start to finish with Chris Ballin, Imaani, and Joy Rose handling the vocals. Great selection of some of their best songs in the set list, which featured the strengths of all players in the band. Highlight of the concert was Bluey singing a duet with Maysa on " Sunrise ". This is one of the best bands in the business, folks. If you get the chance to see them live, highly recommend it.

This was the first live show of INCOGNITO for me, which I was dreaming about going. It was just great, much more than I expected. The lighting of the stage was horrible (couldn't see the faces of the front persons), unfortunately, but the music and performance were great. I hope they come to NYC even they experienced the tough situation this time. Bluey was a person with full of love and great sense of music. He conveyed a great message of unification and love to the people all over the work in the show, quoting the devastating terrorism happened in London after they departed there. I am very much resonated. It was just great. You shouldn't miss their show next time.

As a long time fan of Bluey and Incognito, I knew that I would not be disappointed by anything the band played. They welcomed the audience with a positive vibe and continued to nurse that feeling throughout the night. We heard a few of the favorites; Still a Friend, N.O.T., Nights Over Egypt, Always There, and of course, Deep Waters, then the band showcased Incognito's newest release entitled "In Search of Better Days". This collection reinforces my belief in the band and its message of positivity. Some of my favorites from the night include Everyday Grind, Love's Revival, Love Born in Flames, and Racing Through the Bends. Actually, the entire disc (I bought it after the show) is stellar and I've had it on repeat since I left the show on Sunday. Maysa was not in attendance for the performance, however, Vanessa Haynes and Imaani more than made up for it with their stunning vocals. Of course, Tony Momrelle wowed the audience with his smooth and sexy sound. Overall, a stellar performance from Incognito!

I love this group -- have loved them since I first heard them in the 80's. They have so many classic hits its amazing! I have seen Incognito at least once every year for the last four years. Twice Maysa was on the ticket, twice she wasn't. My comments are a reflection of this most recent show in comparison to the previous ones. To a seasoned fan, the March 2015 show was "average". Here's why: Vocals were muffled for much of the show, except when Maysa sang The musical lineup was just "ok". I would prefer more of their classic songs, even a few more obscure ones. Since they have a new CD, they played a number of the new cuts. I would prefer they take a few of those out and defer to the tried and true numbers that we all know and love. I wish they had arranged the concert a little better and let one song flow into the next. On many occasions, they would play a song, let us applaud, then stop to chit chat or share an anecdote. I have no problem with that, but I think they erred on doing this a little bit too much. Let the music play! Save the chit chat for the autograph line.

Good Friday's gig really was a Good Friday! This concert made my top 3 of Incognito shows I have seen, out of about 30. Avery Sunshine opened the show with a fun and spirited set. All Incognito band members brought their A game and laid down a fantastic show comprised of a musical journey starting in 1980 to now. Of course, Maysa was radiant as ever. This time, Bluey brought Tony Momrelle (good thing Sade isn't touring!), Vanessa Haynes and Natalie Williams as the main singers and they were great. The rhythm section had a great solo, the horn section was tight as ever, the MD Matt Cooper seemed the play a different gig (as usual) and Bluey clearly was enjoying himself. The introductions were followed by a first encore where Avery Sunshine joined Incognito on stage for Always There. They closed out an unforgettable night with Deep Waters and left the stage with Bob Marley's One Love.

BANANAS (in a good way)! Chris Ballin showed up as the male vocalist and rocked the signature "Labor of Love". This band of top-notch artist showed why they are #1 in the acid jazz genre. With Incognito and Maysa, it almost doesn't matter where they play, they elevate any venue they're in. But Birchmere needed no elevation, it's the perfect setting for this group. Fairly large but still intimate, and no bad seats in the house for proximity to the band; because of the tables, some seating may be uncomfortable for eating and facing band at the same time they're playing. So come at least one hour before the show, partake in food (good, reasonably priced and plentiful) and drink, so the eating doesn't deprive you of the artists' full attention - and take in the entire atmosphere. The later you arrive the longer it takes to get served so be mindful. A great night with one of the world's leading musical experiences!

Never been to Birchmere before but was surprised at how orderly they were in getting everyone into the show. Incognito was absolutely awesome and their special guest Maysa brought the house down with her smooth and melodic voice.

I LOVED THE SHOW. FROM THE OPENING ACT. I NEVER SEEN HIROSHIMA IN PERSON AND BOB JAMES. BOTH BLEW ME AWAY. AS FOR INCOGNITO NO WORDS ARE NECESSARY. JUST GREAT !!!

I enjoyed this concert so much, and they really did their thing. From beginning to end every Act was incredible. This show is worth every dime.

Traveled to this show to see incognito however the opening acts performed better. Hiroshima and bob James were great. Incognito not so good. I'm sure if incognito performed alone they would have played more songs.

The concert was amazing!!! All the Acts were truly 5 Star. I do wish that Hiroshima played a few more songs as they are Incredible!!! If Incognito with Maysa, Bob James with his classics and Hiroshima are coming to your town, please get tickets. It is worth the money.

All artists were exceptional!!! I would have liked to have heard Hiroshima a little longer. I also noticed there was something going on with Incognito's sound. As a fan who has seen Incognito out of state, I found the sound quality distorted. Bob James & his Detroit Quartet were excellent!

The concert was outstanding. I loved every minute. The only sad part was when Incognito said they would return in a couple of years. The venue was perfect and the performers were top notch. Thanks for a beautiful evening.

It was a good night for jazz. The opening act Hiroshima even though extremely brief was excellent, seems like their time was limited in order to allow the Bob James Quintet who always puts on a good performance too much time ( he and this quartet all being locals from the Detroit area). Incognito was as expected great. My only issue was that a band as notable and unique as Incognito whose U.S.A. appearances are not frequent to say the least should have been allotted more time to showcase their extensive repertoire. Overall I enjoyed the experience and hope to catch Incognito when they as Bluey put it "In a couple of years" return to the Midwest area.

It was a great concert! All of the groups sounded wonderful! The only problem is it started too late. Most people there were over 40 and not used to being up until almost midnight. Instead of starting at 8:00 maybe start at 6:00 or 7:00. People were falling asleep, including myself. Trying to find parking was awful too.

Been waiting a long time to see Incognito in concert, it was MORE than I expected! My only issue was I wanted to hear Bluey sing some of his solo songs/hits.

Incognito never disappoints. They always give you a little bit of their 35 "years in the game. Jam session with the horn section and of course the awesome lead singers.

The whole group was extremely talented. My husband and I enjoyed every minute BUT the show was a little long by about 30 minutes. People were leaving because it was getting so late and it was a week night. We stayed until the end and it was great! Maysa was especially wonderful and soulful.
