When Neil was in Hawaii, in the 70's, I was babysitting for a couple who were lucky enough to get tickets!! I'm thrilled that I had the opportunity to see Neil perform in Hawaii, on 16 Feb 2012!! He is still an excellent performer! I highly recommend seeing Neil and his great band if you get the chance, I am sure you won't regret it!!

Years ago as a single mom -- I was thinking of quitting my job and going on State Assistance -- my boss gave me a Neil Diamond CD and said to listen to the song "I am I said" -- he then gave me tickets to Neil's concert to go with his wife, I listened to the song and started believing in myself -- the guys that I worked with helped me get my college degree and I went on to become a manager, Years later, when Neil had back surgery, a friend of mine was his nurse. She told him my story and he ensured her that we would have tickets to his sold out concert. I picked up the tickets from will call and was told to sit in Seat 5 (front row) -- when Neil came on stage and sang "I am I Said" -- he bent over and sang to me. I love Neil and his concerts -- he changed my life

This past summer I experienced my first trip to Europe and it was awesome, but the memory that will stick with me forever is getting to attend a Neil Diamond concert in London with two good friends! I haven't been to one of Neil's concerts for several years and the man just gets better and better! You'd never believe he's 70 yrs old! The songs are the same but now sung with more feeling if that's even possible. His song, "Hell Yeah" brought tears to my eyes. I hope to catch at least one concert during his summer 2012 tour. I hope he continues to tour for many years to come!!

The first time I saw Neil Diamond was my first real live concert with the lighters and swaying back and forth. I couldn't believe he was real, he had just released Beautiful Noise and sat on the edge of the stage with his guitar to 'sing us some new songs' The old convention center in San Antonio ROCKED and I just couldn't believe he was on stage for 2 hours. I have seen him in good seats and not so good seats; just being there is enough, he plays to you regardless of where you are in the arena. What a great entertainer. fav song: Play Me plus a million others, especially America when the flag opens.

I grew up with Neil Diamond music playing in our house, and last time he came to our area I dragged my husband to see him. What an amazing concert. From start to finish it was electrifying. We were lucky enough to get seats fairly close to the stage. There were women in their 70s acting like teenagers. His stage presence and interaction with the audience is unbelievable. Plus, it's just great, timeless music. If your on the fence on whether to go, GO. You won't regret it.

The best entertainer by far. I've (we've) seen Neil in concert THIRTY EIGHT times - mostly in MI at The Palace & Pine Knob (now DTE Energy MusicTheatre). Going to see him at DTE this coming July. The first time we saw him in concert was at Pine Knob the year it opened (1972 I think). If you can believe it the seats were (at the most) half full. How far he's come. I'll bet that I was one of his first fans (maybe even THE first) - since he started in the mid-60's. How many entertainers can say that they've lasted close to 50 years. I can't begin to say how many hours I (we) have stood in line to get tickets to his concerts. By the way - I'm a 74 year old male. Geez - Neil will be 71 in Jan. - but he hasn't slowed down. I think my favorite song is "I Am I Said", his autobiography - followed up by "Hell Yeah".

Even if your a just casual Neil Diamond listener or have sung "Sweet Caroline" in a bar a couple times....see him live! My wife and I were expecting a mellow night of soft rock. It turned out to be an amazing show. He played every popular classic we could have asked for and completely engaged the audience. It went from an excuse to get out one night to one of our favorite concerts! You can't go wrong and would not be disappointed.

Although its been some years since we've seen him (can't remember the date but took the chance to write a review since it was offered), we loved it! If you like Neil Diamond...let me say that he is great. The tickets are a bit pricey, but he does a great show. He sings all the songs we love him so much for and you will walk away with a smile and want that special someone nearby. lol. Don't miss out on this gem!

I have been to several of his concerts and long for more! The last one, CBB in Ontario, CA, was a straight 2 hours without intermission. He rules the venue. There is no small talk, no attempts at stand-up comedy, etc. that so many of the others use -- just straight singing by Neil Diamond -- what we came for. I hope that he comes back in 2011 but understand that he may need a rest.

I was fortunate to see Neil at Madison Square Garden in August about a year or so ago. I crave for him to cme back to New York. My seats were not front row or anywhere near but just to be in the arena and have his voice cascading throughout, really had me at one of my most thrilling times in my life. I adore his music. He is insanely captivating. Pease bring him back to NY.

I saw Neil perform in Austin a few years ago. What an amazing show! I don't know how he does it, but he truly fills up the entire stage, the entire venue, with his presence. I wish I had bought better seats. As rarely as I get to see someone of his caliber, I should have ponied up for the best seats available, as this is an amazing life experience. And let's face it, how much longer is he going to be performing??

I throughly enjoyed the concert. It was amazing to finally see him live. I am in my late 30's, and grew up listening to his music and seeing his concerts on TV via VHS and DVD. My Mom recently passed away and attending the concert meant a lot to me. She was OBSESSED with him. I was there for my Mom, and knew that she was enjoying the show up in heaven. Neil is 76 years old, but he's still got it. His voice is amazing as usual and his love for his work and his fans shine through. You can tell he LOVES his job. 50 years is a long time to be in the business. He is a true artist in every sense of the word.

Saw his opening performance 41 years ago at the Aladdin. An unforgettable night with my two sisters and brother, RIP, in 1976. My sisters and I repeated that night in Sacramento Aug 2. It was amazing to see Neil Diamond again. Surprised at how strong his voice was for 76 years old. He sang for 2+ hours. Hit after hit filling us with tears of joy and memories. I can't begin to express how wonderful the show was. Neil is amazing. To be up there at his age doing what he loves to do is just unbelievable. In all probability this is his last tour, but you never know. This is what he lives for. The voice is amazing and even if he moves a little slower, you can tell he is where he wants to be. I just wish he had done 'Hell Yeah' to close the show but that might be a premature 'good bye' that he didn't want to say just yet. Love you Neil. If you can't tour again, we hope to get some new music down the road.

Neil put on a great show, singing all his favorites, giving a little back ground and surrounding himself with some great talent. Did not realize his loyalty as some of his talent has been with him for 40 years. The videos that played in the back ground were pretty cool as it was like he was sharing himself and his life with you as he sang his songs. We are glad we got to see him as this he is my wife's favorite entertainer and as this is his 50th Anniversary tour, not sure if he is going to retire.

This is my first time seeing Neil Diamond Live, although almost everyone I met had seen him multiple times. The vocals were incredible you would not know he is 76 years old. Neil Diamond's energy & ability to work a crowd is admirable. Audience participation is a gimmie, and everyone had a great time. Biggest issue was exiting the arena with some escalators not working very difficult you get to the first floor if you couldn't take the stairs (which one of our party could not) . The seating & stairs are steep on the 300 level! We saw many people needing help navigating the stairs. Viewing screens on either side of the stage do not benefit for sitting at the side you really can't see them

We have seen him often and he never has disappointed us. He belted out our favorites bringing us to our feet and singing along. Romantic ballads and we hugged and sneaked in a kiss! This concert he remembered our troops and those who were victims of terror, thoughts on out minds and in our prayers.........Neil we love you and will see you in your next concert:) For now we'll listen to your CD in the house and in our cars remembering all the moments that touched us in the concert

Although Neil Diamond is aging, he has NOT lost a note! The show was truly memorable from the opening song to the closing wave good-bye. His band remains truly remarkable in both their talent and obvious devotion to the star. Neil and the band played almost 3 hours without intermission and covered all the great ones. The entertainment of the evening was money well spent!

The performance was terrific. Neil Diamond is such a great musician and performer. He totally relates to his audience. By the last 45 minutes of the show, he had the house rocking. Everyone was going wild and singing along with him. We sang the first chorus of Sweet Caroline at least 4 times. Neil must have performed at least 25 songs that evening. The show went more than 2 hours with no intermission. We saw the show Friday night in Charlotte, NC Song after song is still going through my head. It isn't hard to see why his music has lasted over 50 years.

Neil Diamond sounds better now than he did 25 years ago. I really enjoyed his song selection. I heard songs that I've never heard him do in concert. His back up singers and band were excellent. The sound system was great and every word he sang was very clear. Go see him while you get a chance. At 76 years old he is definitely still a fabulous performer.

It has been a while since I had seen Neil Diamond live. He is moving a lot slower now..but his vocals are as great as ever. And he gave an amazing two hour concert. He moved from side to side on the stage so everyone could see him. It was a great concert. Our seats were a bit disappointing. We were in section 104 on the aisle and these were the expensive seats....yet right across the aisle was section 103...and they paid a whole lot less for their tickets. SO that was kind of upsetting since we could not even see the screen since it was over our heads. But that is not Neil Diamond's fault...and we were close enough that at one point he actually waved to me. HE is an amazing performer with an amazing voice...and very humble and wonderful to see in person.

Bought tickets two days before the concert because they released seats behind the stage. The tickets were $30 each including the fees. The seats were great but we moved down to the second row from the stage! Neil was all over the stage and he spent lots of time right in front of us. His voice sounded just like it did 40 years ago! I'll begin by saying Neil Diamond is legendary. And at 76 years young, is still in great voice and spirit. The band was tight and commanding. The only downside was song choice. With a career spanning 50 years, Mr. Diamond had more than enough hits to fill an entire 2 hour show that had no intermissions. Instead, there were much lesser known (at least to our part of four) ballads and fillers that dragged down the show. The show rebounded with a fan favorite Sweet Carolina finale, complete with audience participation that seemed to drag on forever. Congrats to a stellar career and thank you for an enjoyable concert.

This was the first time that I went to a concert that it was a one man show with no intermissions. Neal was AMAZING! His voice hasn't changed at all. He would sing one song after another without talking in between each song. All I can say is, there are not enough words to describe how AMAZING the concert was! NEAL WAS OFF THE CHARTS!!!

I have been a fan of Neil Diamond since I can remember but have never been to one of his concerts. This was the BEST concert I have EVER been to! Over two hours of all of my favorite songs! I didn't want the night to end.

Hubby and I went to the Neil Diamond 50th Anniversary Tour as he is a big fan and I also like his music. He is an unbelieveable showman, as I'm sure true thru the years. We have been trying to see the Singers/Bands we grew up with as none of us are getting any younger and while they are still touring. He sang so many favorites and some new, that we didn't know. His encouragement to have the audience participate with him was definitely a notch above. His slide presentations that he shared were so meaningful to see him with his immigrant family and him growing up, starting as just a little boy. When he came back for his encore, he sang 4-more songs! One man without an intermission at "74" years old still "has it" and certainly "performans and gives all that he has" in his time on stage. We thoroughly enjoyed it so very much; yes, beyond words!

I'm 53 and I've enjoyed Neil since I was 8. I didn't know he toured. I found out and jumped on it. I travelled across two states. It was the best weekend of my life. Neil was awesome!!! Sounded as good as ever!!

Neil sang almost 30 songs over two hours, including two reprises of "Sweet Caroline." He was energetic. Sometimes he spoke more than sang, as he has done in recent years, but his energy seemed very good for a 50th anniversary concert. He gave the audience what they wanted to hear. I am very glad I got to hear him once more.

I absolutely had the best time at this concert that I've had in a very long time. Neil still sounds just great. I have seen him in concert 4 times now and he never fails to put on a whale of a good show. He is a fantastic musician, performer and songwriter. You should try to see him if you possibly can get to one of the tour dates.

This was the tenth Neil Diamond show I have seen and it is the best one. In my opinion, he just got better with age. I had front row center seats and he kept me on my feet the whole show. It had to be some feat for him to be onstage for the entire show.

This was my 70th Neil Diamond concert attendance since 1983. My Son went with me. He had seen ND last in 2001 when he opened American Airlines Center, my last show was in 2005 in San Antonio. I told my Son on the way to the venue that things might be a lot different since Neil now is 74, and to expect a slower pace but still we were eager to see him again. NOT SO! Neil came on stage around 8:20 pm and did a nonstop two full hour show, stamina like a 45 year old, and I personally even think the show was better than back in 2005. His voice was amazingly rich, and better than ever! This was a fantastic show, and I can count myself lucky to have been able to see him again in Dallas, and I even have the honor to see him again in a couple of weeks in Germany, cause I'm there due to my job anyways. So watch out Cologne, one more time "Hello again, hello!"
