Jo Koy worked the audience like a pro. Sure, he loves playing on race and gender, occupation and even orientation, but he did it non-offensively and was downright hilarious when he did. He even topped off the show with some on-stage singing that completely brought the entire house down. I've only been to two shows where my ears rattled from the sheer amount of applause, and this was one of them. The other was on 311 day in New Orleans, and that show was completely amazing. If you haven't seen Jo Koy live, you need to.

I'll Keep it short and simple. I've been to 3 other comedians at the Wilbur in the past year (Aziz Ansari, Joe Rogan and Louis CK). All of the shows were great and would recommend them to anyone, but Jo Koy blew them all out of the water. Was laughing the entire time. He messed with the crowd and was hilarious. I went with 4 people and we all agreed that it was the best show we have ever been to. Would recommend it to anyone who wants some laughs and to have a good time. The opener was great too.

Jo Koy had us laughing throughout the show. This was my first chance to see Jo headline and he did not disappoint. There is no other way to see him! He had a great mix of new material, a couple old jokes/stories and a lot of improv. This guy is an incredible stand up talent! He gave us about 80 mins after his opener and he got a well deserved standing ovation after the show. Can't wait to see what will be on this guy's plate next and will definitely try to see him again next time he comes to Boston. More Jo!

Jo Koy was great. I had seen him as a opening act before when he was with Carlos Mencia a few years ago. This show was so good. He had I believe 2 opening comics and music act. The comedy was great and of course he was in a good mood as it was on the day of a manny paciao fight. I really was blown away at how the show closed with music and I didnt know Jo could sing. I mean it was a unique end to a comedy show and really put the mood in the right place for everyone leaving for the party at the clubs. I was amazed at how good he sang and if u just saw the singing part you would think that was his day job. Highly recommend the show.

I've seen standups and skits, and YouTube videos for each of the these performers and was already psyched to see their show. But the show itself (first time seeing them live) was above and beyond! I forget the name of the opener, but he was also very polished and funny. Alone, they each shine brightly but together Jo Koy's and Angelah's chemistry is AMAZING. Then I had the pleasure of winning a meet & greet and Jo Koy can take great selfies! It was worth every penny and I paid for floor seats!

This was my 3rd time seeing Jo Koy preform (Tampa 2009 & NYC 2012) and I was not disappointed. He is an excellent comic who uses events in his life, which are oddly relatable, in his performance which makes the bits that much more funny. I hope to see him again, but since I am now permanently in one place (Alaska) it most likely won't happen any time soon (unless Jo Koy adds Anchorage as a regular event city wink wink). He takes the time after his show to interact with his fans too. I was able to show him a photo from his 2009 show in Tampa I attended and he seemed genially greatful that I came to see him for the 3rd time in 3 different states.

I have been following Jo Koy and his comedy for close to 15 or 16 years. His show at the Warner theater was my first opportunity to see him live. I knew I would have fun and would be in pain the next day from nonstop laughter, but Jo Koy Live was more than I could've ever asked for! He has a true gift and talent for standup comedy. He was on stage for over two hours just vibing off the crowd... And afterwards stayed to sign autographs, take selfie's and give out hugs to anyone who waited to see him. Went to the 9:30 show on 11/19 my friend and I waited patiently to get in. The line started to move and we were in. When JoKoy finally came on it was none stop laughing from beginning to end. He hit so many areas about our island being a melting pot and making fun of all the ethnic groups that make up this island of Oahu. I can t even pin point what his best jokes were because they were all to funny. I have never laughed so hard in my life tonight besides watching him on Netflix when he had me laughing so loud that my mom s care giver could hear me through a closed door. I would definitely see him again if he ever comes back to Hawaii. This night was definitely a night I will never ever forget. He is incredible. Thank you JoKoy for putting on 11 shows and making it possible for the entire island to be entertained by you for a night we will truly never forget.

The venue was so-so, tickets were a pain to get, hotel sends a flyer but no tickets available the day I get it, eventually got seats while on a waiting list - Jo Koy and his intro guy were great, we really enjoyed them !

First time at this theater and I love the size, as it s not too large. It s far but easy to get to with a parking garage just across the street. Regarding Jo Koy, the show was hilarious! I m Filipino so i obviously can relate. My boyfriend isn t and Jo Koy still had him dying from laughter. I also went with my brother and mom - this is going to be an annual family event. Please please book Koy EVERY year!!

Jokoy was phenomenal! The venue could have been at a larger place or additional show dates or times promoted. I knew a lot of people interested in it but was so disappointed that the event sold out quick. Jokoy was very crowd friendly and took selfies on his way out regardless of VIP status of event attendees. This was definitely a larger venue than last performance I saw at Improv in September but even that had additional show times and not just 1 evening.
