every year it s a great show! i go every year. orchestra seats are great and someday i ll be in the pit!

Absolutely loved it! Already planning to go back next year!

Seats were perfect, crowd was awesome. We danced all night. Second year going was better than last year!!!

This is the 3rd Freestyle concert that I've been to. All three were great. It is non-stop dancing, the crowd really gets into it. There are a lot of acts that perform each time. What I will say about this last one is that I enjoyed all the artists but it may be time to change it up a bit. Everyone loves Stevie B including myself but he says and does the same exact things at every concert. He is always the last act and rightfully so. Let's end the night with one of the best but man, he sounded like a has been at a Vegas Show. "OK, that's it for me, have a good night." He must have said that 3 times before he finished up with what the crowd was waiting for, Spring Love. His act needs changing up. The concert went for 4 hours straight, act after act with no intermission. Maybe one intermission in the middle in the future would be good. Overall, I would definitely recommend. Its a big, non stop party. You get your monies worth.

Can't wait til the next one.... hope the next one is an old school hip hop event

I went to this concert a couple years back and had a great time seeing all the old freestyle groups. This time was horrible!!!! It was called freestyle concert and they decide to put biz mark kee or what ever his name is and also vanilla ice give me a break. Talk about a buzz kill. I went from dancing in my seat to the bass and vocals of the song bad of the heart by George Lamond and Cynthia and johnny o dream boy dream girl to sitting down blocking my ears when that biz markee guy came out and started just wording u got what i need or something like that . Don't call it a freestyle concert then throw in rappers just because there from the same era. I will make sure to look at the lineup nxt time and make sure that when its a freestyle concert that they promote that it is all freestyle performers.

It was great to hear these singers live. I have listened to freestyle since the early 90's and always wanted to see the singers live. To have the cover girls come out singing wishing on a star and end with show me was freaking amazing. Love TKA/K7. It was a long concert though but I would recommend it.

On Saturday June 23rd we were extremely excited to attend the Freestyle Extravaganza. We were seated at 7:00 and the show didnt start for at least another 40 minutes. The show supposedly started but for the next half an hour or so there was still crew moving about on stage. Again when the show supposedly started it would start and stop between performers for extremely long peroids of time. As for the sound, HORRIBLE doesnt even describe the sound and quality, it was actually sickening. It seemed as if us the audience was bothering the DJ, that he had better thing to do, leaving the stage and talking to various people on stage. This isn't even the half of it, the speakers were constantly squeaking. The lighting was completely intrusive, multiple times during each performance lights were beamed directly into our eyes for no apperent reason. As for the performers out of key would be a complement to their poor performance. Also there were many performers that had no reason being there and the ones advertised on the radio as headliners most were not there; the 3 performers that did come 2 of them did 2 songs and Biz markie came out sang his chorus 4 times than walked off stage!! I am in shock that this was such a cut rate low end performance. There are better performances at my local elementary school!

Overall the show was much better than I anticipated.

Was a great time but not as great as I expected. Some of the artists were played and shouldn't have been there! Vanilla Ice and Biz Markie were great! I wish the DJ would have played a lot of the songs all the way through.

Concert was great as usual. I look forward to it each year. It was great to see Vanilla Ice. I always look forward to see who they would add to the lineup each year. The usual artists did great as well. Mohegan is always a great place. Even the seats at the top are good seats.

Being a big fan since the late 80's I must say I was very excited to attend the concert. It was great to see all the artists and the music brought me back in time. However the acoustics were horrendous.

I truely think ..some artist should change their act..the concert was good..but no offense to all my true freestyle artist..after watching the concert for many years... its gets a little boring... i truely think maybe changing some songs .. for example David should do some micmac songs no regreats... cythina also do some different songs or longer songs... for true freestle fans like my self the concert was good..just really need to change the acts or longer songs or stage seetings..something to bring back that true freestyle... noel.. no offense..needs to stop all that krate kid stuff..

Had the best time ever! 2nd yeAr going and it's a new tradition fort hubby and our friends. We plan on going with more Nd more people every year! Awesome performances! Lisa Lisa was amazing as always! Corp did his thang! Bobby brown busted a move! Mc hammer was off the chain like he didn't even age!! Judy Torres beautiful voice! Raquel awesome performance!! Tka was off the hook! Just a great show!!!!

Very good show, but there was some sound and mic issues. We couldn' t hear all of the artists at different times.

Let me tell you...I was so excited to be going to see so many good acts, TKA, Bobby Brown, Crystal Waters etc...but it was just 3 and half hours of awful...not because of the lineup...but because of the accoustics and the background DJ etc. The sound system was screwed up....the music was so loud that it drowned out the singers and all of the words were garbled at best.....when the DJ announced who was coming out it was unintelligable and we didn't know who we were even listening too...I was dying to hear "Maria" and when it was finally sung I couldn't even recognize it. I said to my 3 other friends who also paid $93 a head I think they just sang Maria...and they said they didnt know that was what was sung....Then Bobby Brown, who I love, came out and must have been so high or something...he coudnt remember the words to his own song and cut it short. We left before MC Hammer, about 3 hours into it, but heard people saying he was terrible.....It was billed as dance music from the 80's and 90's but was like 1/2 rap and not dance music!.....So all in all I was embarrassed that I had 3 other friends dish out the money for such a crappy show and felt bad in such a bad economy where money is tight that they had for this!....

It was a house party. I will not miss the next one.

I was sooooo very disappointed it was not at all what I expected. I've been to several freestyle concerts in Atlantic City & have always had a blast with a fantastic freestyle lineup. Where was the queen of freestyle - Judy Torres????? How do Bobby Brown & even worse MC Hammer qualify as Freestyle??????? JUST TERRIBLE!!!! Needless to say I will not be attending this event again & even worse you can't even get in the bars / clubs @ 1am when the drinking cut off should be 2am which is still way too early for a New Yorker.........lol

I had a blast! Definitely doing this again. My experience was better than ever since I got to go backstage! I got to see all the singers up close and got some pics too!

This four hour concert was great with a few criticisms. The freestyle music was quite entertaining, which was why we were there. However, the added House and Hip Hop was not needed, and for the most part, not particularly appreciated or wanted by the audience. My favorites were Lisa Lisa, Coro, and Stevie B. Sadly, Color Me Badd was "Bad" and Bobby Brown was hard to take seriously when all that came to mind was his ex-wife's problems due to him. I love these concerts, but more Freestyle singers are needed instead of fill-ins for them.

I thought the r&b artist would be on longer than they were.

Reliving the freestyle era is always fun. The great George Lamond ("Bad of the Heart," "Without You"), the fabulous Judy Torres ("Love You, Will You Love Me," "No Reason to Cry"), the fun TKA ("Louder Than Love," "Tears May Fall, "Maria"), the seductive Noel ("Silent Morning") and so many more. Back to back hits. It's a guaranteed good time, and you WILL move your body -- whether you're standing or seated.

I loved the energy! I had great seats and the price was decent. I was in Orh6 Row E seat 601

It was a nice venue but you can't even dance. Every other concert I've been too people are allowed to dance. The guards were constantly reprimanding you. Who doesn't get the urge to dance. Hard not too noone goes just for the music.

The show was just over 4 hrs and felt nothing like it. It was non stop fun awesome acts great music. Best yet.

The show was super dope and super awesome Lisette Melendez was gorgeous and sexy as hell rob base killed their performance judy Torres was phenomenal at her stage performance , tka lit up the stage on fire overall seating was great pricing was good and i would definitely recommend any future freestyle show to any freestyle fanatic out there trust and believe it was An amazing experience my first going

I enjoyed the show, it gave great memories of my high school years. I just think some artist such as Bobby brown and maybe nice and smooth did not mesh well with the audience. They should be booked for r&b and hip hop shows were the audience would really appreciate seeing them perform. Some of the performers made too many comments regarding Latinos as if they were the only race who paid good money to see them perform. Overall as a black / Latina I enjoyed the show.

The concert was so amazing that it kept everyone on their feet. All the freestyle artists were fantastic. My favorite part of the evening was listening to the audience sing every word of every song as I sang along. What a wonderful experience!

Well, once again, I thoroughly enjoyed myself at this Year's Free Style Concert. It was great to listen to those old jams.

This freestyle concert was one of the best I have attended for awhile. The music was great. The audience sang along and I stood up for the whole concert dancing. The concert started on time and lasted over three hours. Was worth the money I paid. I will attend this concert again.

This concert was amazing , all the artist were fantastic and truly were trying to give thier fans the best possible perfomance TKA AND CORO where the best acts , but all were great cant wait till next one ill be there!!!! Freestylehead for life!!!!!!

This show was so amazing it took me back to my H.S.days I hope they do it again next year!

My boyfriend and I went to high school together. We played freestyle music at my Sweet 16 & we danced all night. Years later we reconnected and started dating. The concert brought back great memories for us & we danced together at our seats. We said when we get married, we're going to make sure the D.J. plays all the music.

Awesome show.. Definitely took me back to the day. The artists came one after the other, no waiting in between singers. The Venue was perfect, the audience were respectful and all into the music.

This concert was by far the best concert I have ever been to. They had all the best acts and brought me back to the 80s, the best years of my life. My only complaint was that they played too many hip hop songs when the Hip Hop concert was the night before. The next time let's keep it Freestyle there were so many other acts they could have added to fill in Nyasia, Safire, Noel, Jungle Brothers etc etc.

Great compilation of Freestyle artists singing the songs we all know and love. Wasn't too crazy about the Hip Hip, but that's just not my thing. There were people in the audience that loved it! When we first got to our seats we were excited because we were in the first row. But that excitement went away when all but two performers stayed in the center and stage right. The only two performers that even came near us were Lisette Melendez and George Lamond. You would think first row, no need to look at the screen, but we did for almost the whole concert.

HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME! LOVED ALL THE PERFORMERS, BROUGHT BACK SO MANY MEMORIES!! WOULD DEF DO THIS AGAIN!

This was an amazing show! Brought back so many memories! I came all the way from NC to see this show. I left with no voice from all of the screaming and singing and the DJ was great! I hope they do this again next year!

Had a blast! The music was great the seats where great! Nice people and got to see a lot of Artist that was out when I was younger!

The only thing I was disappointed with was the performance by Lil Susy who was one of the main attractions only sang 2 song, one of which most didn't know.Most all other acts sang at least 3.

Opening act was great ready to party. Old school was great. And the DJs kept the house rocking. Going next year as well.

Freestyle music is awesome and the performers are still amazing.

I loved the concert. The venue is beautiful. It was nice seeing it decorated for the Christmas holiday season. I loved Lisa Lisa, TKA and all of the artists that performed.

My review on the concert was incredible, wished several more artists were present...The location, The New Jersey Performing Art Center, The Prudential Hall, Section - Orchestra, Row - B, was just perfect...My family, n friends, that attended were all impressed...Parking was great, across the street, can't get any better then that...Will recommend to all...

It was such a awesome night with my friends. Hearing the music really brought us back to some good times!! Can't wait to go again. The only Thing sometimes you couldn't understand what they were saying on the mic. But really great time!!

The event was exceptional. From the moment it began, the venue turned into a dance hall. Everyone was on their feet dancing and singing. Judy Torres and TKA stole the show...... Looking forward to next time.

The performers were great! The tix were a little pricey but NJ PAC is a pretty good venue.

Awesome show. Danced nonstop. Dj is great. Performers sounded terrific.

The big liner was Lisa Lisa and she really appeared to appreciate her fans. Sound was a little muttled and loud. Not a fan however I attended for my wife who has fond memories to yester year. I did enjoy the Sugarhill Gang. I realized the genre connection to todays music and it clearly comes from them. They performed like no tomorrow. Some artists didn't make it however the concert was enjoyed by many as evidenced by the roaring applause with the loudest coming from my section!!!! The DJ deserves kudos for respectfully playing with the audience.

The concert was good but I was disappointed when one of the artist Doug E Fresh that was supposed to be there did not show. There was no explanation of why. Artists like DAS EFX and Coolio performances could have been better. My wife and I expected more of a big show considering this was for a 10th year anniversary.

I love the whole set. The dj was good..although, he kept cutting off some of the best songs!!! It was like a night at the club!!! Great time!!

What a show! The most fun I have ever had at a concert. I would recommend this to anybody who loves Freestyle music. The fans and these great artists will never let this genre die. We were on our feet all night long singing and dancing. Cynthia is my favorite artist and as soon as her music hit it literally sent chills through my body...beautiful voice with great beats. The list of artists was a who's who of Freestyle...Cynthia, Judy Torres, Rockell, Johnny O, Coro, Noel, Shannon, Lisa Lisa., George Lamond and more.....WOW.!

the equipment was breaking down, some of the artist were lip-syncing, and the lead performer stevie b absolutely was terrible.

The DJ/host was terrible. Did not have music ready several time. Rockell walked off stage in the middle of her song, then came back later. No announcement or apology was provided.

Really enjoyed this show and glad to finally see Stevie B performing all of his big hits. Also loved seeing Shannon and Lisa Lisa. So much fun to dance and sing along just like back in the day. Love the 80's!!!
