I have been to a lot of concerts in my 45 years on this Earth & I can honestly say that EODM is by far one of the best I have ever seen. I've seen them once before when they were touring in support of "Heart On" & I felt the same way then. They are high energy, engaging & genuine fun to see & you will be sad when they take their farewell bows. You can definitely tell they love what they do & their fans. I will go out of my way to see them again & again when they come to Boston. Peace, Love Death Metal. \\m/

This was my first time seeing the Eagles of Death Metal live. They were amazing! They sounded incredible! Of course, they were at the Pageant, the best concert venue in St. Louis. They had this amazing energy onstage that was infectious! You just couldn't hold still with Jesse Hughes up there singing, playing and dancing his heart out! I love him! He has such a great big personality, it came across so well live! I would love to see them play again!

Great venue, awesome sound and the band, always entertaining...great interaction with the audience, unlimited energy from Jesse and the boys....phenomenal show! And their opening act, "Thelma and the Sleaze"...these girls kick major butt! If you have a chance to see them, and you love to dance and have a great time, this is the show for you! Do yourself a favor and seek them out! one of the best live shows I've ever seen!

What a show!!! These guys are all about having a ball with the music they play and the audience going insane as they spread out the energy through their performance. And they do it, they deliver the rock'n'roll as well as everything the crowd needs to feel entertained. Webster Hall is my favorite venue for these kind of concerts, the band is right there for you, the sound is good too. Again, what a great concert it was!

he's that dirtbag friend of your older brother that every girl had a crush on when she was 10 years old. and it's good time rock and roll. no pretensions, just FUN along the lines of van halen pre-sammy. there were as many women in the audience as men.

They put on a rockin show. 'Can you dig it'? Jesse is such a lover. He really knows how to engage the audience and make it a personal experience. In attendance were his mother, his son and Gibby Haynes, of the Butthole Surfers who Jesse claimed are his heroes. There was an on stage proposal during the encore. Over all, Big Fun!

Fantastic showmen. Just godd ol' rock n roll riffs that ended with "I really want you" which proceeded after a roadie (?) proposed to his GF on stage. She said yes. They brought the house down with an extended "Speaking in Tongues" that built to an amazing crescendo. Bravo!

One of the highest energy rock shows in a long time. Jesse was having the time of his life, and the music showed his enthusiasm! The show started like it was shot out of a cannon, and the pace never slowed. Fantastic!

The House of Blues was stunned last night as everyone in the audience was sentenced to "death by sexy" from Eagles of Death Metal after a solid opening by Rival Schools. If you are unfamiliar with Eagles of Death Metal, let me give you a little heads up to what is in store for you at a live show. Now, Eagles of Death Metal, by name alone, can be misleading. They aren't quite metal, death metal, or any one genre of music in particular. They are just pure rock n roll fueled by the charisma and "voodoo magic" of Jesse Hughes' onstage antics and lyrical style. The very presence of J Devil on the stage was enough to direct the attention of all eyes in the room upon him as he blew kisses to girls, took personal requests for songs from audience members, and played a flawless solo rendition of Taking Care of Business, which he "played a lot in Canada" but wanted "to claim the song, right here in Boston" (seeing as it was their first show back in the USA in a long time) during the "encore" which was more like Part 2 of the night since it went on for nearly another hour, but I'm getting ahead of myself. All crowd pleasers were played while Jesse, quite literally, pleased the crowd (and offered to please one woman in the audience by saying he would buy her a cherry cola then played the song of the same name). I don't need to list the songs they played because they played every single and hit they've had which EoDM fans know of without my list. I will review some highlights though. Miss Alissa seemed to spark new energy (if it was even really needed) in the crowd as more people began to dance and chant along with J Devil. A voluptuous woman nicknamed " Miss Coco Bubbles" came onstage for a duet rendition of Prissy Prancin'. Jesse managed to break guitar strings twice and never miss a step or lyric during the mishaps. "The Devil" never lost his cool even when, on four occasions, intoxicated people jumped onstage. Guitarist Dave Catching kept composure and his rock character when a beer was chucked at him mid-song. He appeared startled at first, picked up the beer, and proceeded to chug down what was left of it, throwing the can behind him afterward. This was not the only occasion where an item was thrown onstage. I heard, but did not witness, that J Devil picked up panties, that were sacrificed to him as a gift to "Boots Electric", and sniffed them. Other highlights include J Devil singing a certain profanity laden song, (see first album) then refusing to swear between songs due to his "momma" being at the show, (she was literally there up in the balcony area behind the stage) the amazing second half of the show which consisted of a flawless cover of Brown Sugar, and finally the extended version of Speaking In Tongues which had the beat dropped out of it for a long time before completely exploding at the end to which audience responded by jumping up in the air as if the floor was on fire. All this said, I hope I have given those with no background with this band a good gist of what to expect from such a high energy band. Two conclusions come to me from this show in the end; Eagles of Death Metal are the purest and most entertaining rock act out there right now and J Devil is quite possibly - no, scratch that - is MOST DEFINITELY the greatest frontman of our generation. Period.

If anyone has been to a show in a club in Boston, then you know how stubborn the crowds are. If a band can get even a head bobbing or a toe tapping, they are doing something right. How about when a band can get a crowd so fired up, that members of the audience begin running on stage and flashing the devil horns sign for rock and roll!! That is how the EofDM get it dun. With a lot of booze, tatoos and loud roaring guitars, this band rocked the House of Blues and brought even a Boston crowd to its feet and wanting more. Covers of the Rolling Stone's 'Brown Sugar' and BTO's "Taking Care of Business' as encore's only proved to the crowd that the EofDM can take rock and roll out of any era and bring it into the now!! Thanks for rocking us right boys!!

Eagles of Death Metal is a pure fun rock show that will make you move like you are a dancing machine. The lead singer, Jesse Hughes is so charismatic and sexy. I love the way he sings and dances when he's playing the guitar. Dave Catching the lead guitarist is AMAZING! Actually all the musicians in the band are outrageous. If you are lucky enough to get to see Josh Homme play the drums with them it will be one heavenly night to remember. Although, he did not play with them for this show. Don't miss your chance to see them as it is always a guaranteed good time.

This show ROCKED!!! I went in with an open mind and got blown away!!! The Gutter Twins w/ Duff McKagen were awesome. Kinda subdued bluesy rock with a punk edge to it, SOLD! Josh Homme was acoustic AND A BLAST. Who knew he was a comedian as well. His whole energy that night is what makes an evening like this memorable to begin with. LOVED IT!!! Finally E.O.D.M. came out and had more fun than Dave Grohl on his birthday. They kicked butt and really rocked the house. The energy was superb as well as the show itself. GO IF YOU CAN!!!!

absolutely fantastic show. eodm never disappoints.. however the house of blues is the worst venue in dallas. too expensive, inconvenient location, most hard ass awful security that looks like they're itching for a fight and to top it off after standing for three to four hours you get to exit the building by walking up two flights of stairs. come on, hob. just turn into planet Hollywood and be a restaurant.

Never been to the Chameleon club but there was a parking garage directly across the street. It looked like a hole in the wall and it was but it ended up being a great place.Small but that is a plus. The Eagles of Death Metal kicked a=÷! Jesse Hughes is a great front man and you can tell he loves rock and roll and the opportunity to play it.He seemed very grateful to be there and loved the crowd. The whole band was great and sounded really good. The show was FUN! Worth every penny. If I didn't have to work the next night I would have went to the show in Md.

This event was sold out. Probably because Josh is a member of this band. A prominent member. Of course, he wasn't there. There was a stand-in, and just the other singer, Jesse Hughes. Jesse was OK. But there was no Josh to hit the high notes. The concert went on for too long, too, with two guitar solos, then a bass solo. We finally left. Won't be attending anymore EODM concerts, or buying any of their CDs. Note that the promos for their tour included pics of BOTH prominent band members. Bullcrap.

What a great venue and a great way for Eagles of Death Metal to end their tour. Ramshead Live in Baltimore is an intimate venue where you can smell the sweat of the performers up on stage no matter where you stand. And last night's show featured pleanty of sweat. Eagles of Death Metal blazed their way on stage and proceeded to prance and grunt and shake their money makers for a solid hour and a half for all they were worth. After a short intermission, they retook the stage and spent the next half hour to forty-five minutes blowing the doors off the place. They came to Baltimore to do one thing: Rock with a capital R. And they did just that. Peace. Love. Death Metal. What more needs to be said?
