The show was fine. Underwhelming, but fine. The opening acts were tolerable, but not what we would consider "worthy" of opening for Richard Lewis. I mean, Richard Lewis has been a comedy icon for decades, and to have a comedian talk about being a French woman for 20 minutes, and a comedian of advanced years talk about his relationships for a while, was just not funny. We supposed she was there for diversity and the other guy was picked because he was older. But we were there for Richard Lewis. We went because we liked his comedy, we actually watched his show with Jamie Lee Curtis in the late 80's and early 90's, we saw him at Cobb's years ago, and we love his performance on Curb Your Enthusiasm. We were ready for a good time. What we got was a guy that complained about his age, his burst blood vessel in his eye, and seemingly had no set material. He even said he knew this set was a bit "scattelogical", but he did not care. He got us to laugh a bit, but because the setup comedians were not funny, the need for him to be on point was there. We know he is 70 and doesn't give a f_ _ _, because he said it so many times. Bottom line, is maybe we set our expectations to high. If we had gone in thinking he was an over the hill hack trying to recapture some magic from the 80's, maybe it would have been better. Oh well.

For me Cobb's is a 5 star because of how close you can get to the act, feels much more connected. Richard Lewis is always a killer, and on this night did not disappoint. Shot from the hip and really just told it like it is for his whole set, exactly what I bought the tickets hoping to see.

Many fans know Richard Lewis from Curb Your Enthusiasm. I am old enough to remember him from the Johnny Carson days. Though Richards persona is always the same, most of his act reminded me of those older days. Enjoyed it so much that we were tempted to go again the next night.

We were disappointed in this show. J.B. Smoove was offensive and not at all funny. I hate this kind of humor -- swearing every other word, repetitive jokes and simulated sexual acts on stage. This is juvenile, junior high age humor and has no place in a show intended to entertain intelligent adults. Richard Lewis was definitely funnier and I enjoyed him more. However, his performance could have been longer --only on for a little under an hour. Given how much we didn't enjoy the opening act, we would have appreciated more from Mr. Lewis. Also, the venue itself was annoying. Since the Wilbur Theatre serves alcohol, there was a huge back up at the front door with people being carded and then "stamped" to allow them it -- give me a break! And then, when it was time to leave, I was not allowed to take my unfinished, $4 bottle of water out with me because "it might contain alcohol'. What a "Mickey Mouse" operation! We won't be back.

Why do comics insist on using swearing/sex for their routines. and seem to have nothing else to grasp. Just not my cup of tea.

J.B Smoove is funny, he was as great as he has been on Curb. 1st time i saw Richard Lewis live, he is no doubt an elderstates man, he is funny, and its remarkable how he is all over the place with his act and seems like a psychopath, but none the less hes worth seeing.

My wife and I both liked the show very much. JB and Richard were both very good. It was a funny show and a very enjoyable evening. We liked the venue and plan on returning in the near future. My only complaint is that there is not much leg room in the mezzanine.

JB had some funny moments, the best being his interpretation of what a stage coach driver would do if accompanied by a hip hop song on the radio. But he repeated a lot of his lines, and really needs seasoning to make his stand-up as funny as his riffs on CURB. Lewis was brilliant from start to finish. His "stream of consciousness" approach to comedy is his trademark, and now that he's added, at 62, the notion that his short term memory is gone, it just makes his machine gun asides that much funnier. What a pleasure to watch a pro who is able to use his years of experience to relate to a very young audience, and get booming laughs along the way. Just a superb hour of comedy from Lewis.

Having only seen J.B. Smoove from Curb Your Enthusiasm, I wasn't sure what his stand-up act would be like, and he turned out to be hysterically funny. I enjoyed the physical elements of his routine (using the microphone stand, chair and stool as props). Sure, it was for mature audiences only, but he was wonderful. It was great to see Richard Lewis live for the first time, as I've always enjoyed his performances. However, I did find his act (which he claimed he didn't have) a bit tedious (though that may have been because I was tired at that point, who knows?) Still, it was great to see a comedy great do what he does best.

The show was fabulous. Susie Essman had the audience laughing throughout the entire performance. Richard Lewis as well. They are wonderful performers. She did a Q & A that was fun. Length of performace was good. Would definitely come to this venue again. Price great too!

Show began on time! Susie Essman was fantastic - the crowd loved her, many loyal "Curb" fans. She was personable, I could relate to her comedy, and had hearty laugh out loud's. She invovled the audience and concluded with an Q&A period. Would see her again. RIchard Lewis - was interesting, at first very hard to follow, all over the place in his thoughts. You need to listen closely and pay attention - a little work for me to stay with him and get the jokes. Would not see him again. venue - Hilton- easy to pick up the tickets- that's a plus, seats were not comfortable, big room, no problem seeing the artists.

Bob Rivers & gang did not disappoint. What amazing guitar players. Bob son had the honors of being the opening act. Very funny. I enjoyed him much more than Richard Lewis, whom I found to be too odd. My husband enjoyed the night and said he wants to go again next year. I was expecting a few twisted songs. That was even in the title. Kinda disappointed about that. Really the young guitarist was awesome though.

This is the first time I have gone to a Bob Rivers event, and it certainly will not be the last. The show was started off by up and coming comedian Andrew Rivers, then followed by the wonderful Richard Lewis, whom I swear was speaking to only me during much of the show! He still has it. What a treat. Then to be entertained by the awesome music of Spike & the Impalers with all the different guest was just great. Fantastic. Also what a magical thing to do at Christmas time, but sponser less fortunate children through World Vision. This was truly the best show I've seen in a long long time.

If it wasn't for Bob River's son opening for Richard there would'nt be a comedy act. First time to see Spike and the Impalers. I brought a veteran friend of mine who is recovering from cancer and he and I really enjoyed the rock concert. Joe had me in tears....Great job to Bob Rivers, Spike, Joe and the rest of the cast.

Andrew Rivers did an outstanding job of getting the crowd laughing and then Richard Lewis started to bring the house down with his insightful comedy. Spike and the rest of the local rock and rollers brought the house down with their versions of the "best of". This is a show that will not soon be surpassed................until their next one!!!

We have been several times to see Spike and/or Twisted Christmas. this was truly enjoyable. A few things were not. Honestly, the show would have been better without Richard Lewis...just not my type of comedian. Andrew was refreshing and wonderful and would have been a better headliner. Did not come for Richard Lewis, came for Spike and the Impalers. Although the band and all its members were so entertaining and immensely talented (love music), I was looking forward to some Twisted Christmas songs...but there were none. Kaci is a great performer, but could someone find her a new outfit and new moves?!! Hey, just had to throw that in!

Richard Lewis gave a funny and off beat performance. He is a little hard to follow, but I enjoyed him. Bob River's son did a great job, and I think he has a great career ahead of him. Spike and the Impalers and their many guests were great. I could tell all the musicians really loved what they were doing. I was in the second section of seating and the sound was a little garbled at times, I couldn't tell if it was the mix or the acoustics in the room. Overall a great night out for a good cause. Count me in for next year!

I've been to a lot of their shows, and this one was not one of their best. I think they really miss Dudley and the girl from Hell's Belle's. Love Lynn, but White Wedding didn't work. I do wish they'd give up their Boss stuff, but I know that'll never happen. Would have loved more VanHalen and for the love of all that's holy, play Kashmere(sp)! Lewis started slowly but ended up very funny. I have never seen him perform before so I didn't know what to expect from a live show.

JB opened the show with non stop f'bombs that lasted throughout the entire show. I think he threw more f'bombs in 45 minutes than the movie Casino had in 3 hours. To put in into 2 words, he "f'bomb sucked" Richard on the other hand is a seasoned comic. He's brilliant. He brought me to tears from laughing so hard. He has such a unique style that can only be enjoyed by chosen few. I hope the next time Richard goes on tour, JB isn't with him.

I love to laugh but was hard with JB using the F bomb for every other word in his performance. I don't mind a swear every now and then but it's hard to laugh at only that word. It set a negative tone for the entire evening.

JB Smoove did the same routine he did last year at the Wilbur, so what was so funny about that? Not much. He could have done better. Richard Lewis was pretty funny...much better than last year when he completely drew a blank about 3/4 of the way through the routine. Much more lucid this year...good effort by RL.

Apparently, JB Smoove went on immediately @ 7:30 (overall show start time) and performed for about 25 mins. Showed up @ 8pm to see he was already done. Very disappointing, as there are always openers and for a Friday show getting home from work, etc....it sort of ruined the experience

I enjoyed the show, JB Smoove came on before him and he was very funny. Richard Lewis came on and he had a hard time focusing, which was actually funny. He would start one story, go off on a tangent, and then return to the story he was telling. I liked the show.

Horrible. During one sketch the guy simulated humping a chair for at least 3-5 minutes. That followed by about 30 minutes of old people jokes. I usually don't post reviews or am even this critical, because I can imagine it is hard for people do perform in front of an audience. It sucked so bad.

Not FUNNY! JB Smoove, instead of using comedic stories or one-liners, relied on non-stop cursing. He was difficult to understand and between positioning the microphone too close and being too loud, many of his non-humorous phases were unintelligible. Richard Lewis was slightly better, but seemed to just perform without any preparation and without continuity. A far better, more comfortable & a much less expensive idea would be to watch reruns of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Richard was rather good; I do like his style of comedy. The show was only one hour in duration and we were expecting a longer show than that. He tries to relate to the crowd in his performance, but this crowd was hard to read. They were not super into it! He does have some clever techniques in his delivery.

Either you get Lewis' humor or you don't. That said, he can have off nights, or even off years. I'm not a fanboy and I saw him bomb about 10 years ago. But with his career in high gear again thanks to his "Curb" success he is firing right again. Saw him Saturday (12/2/17) at Cobb's in San Francisco. The large room was packed and he killed it. You hang on every word, wondering what will come next. He can improvise too..."I thought it was Jack Ruby' kid" when an employee suddenly appeared onstage to give him a diet Coke. He earned a rare standing ovation as he left the stage. The man is a legend, don't miss him!

Lewis started off with his typical delivery and spaciness, but it quickly went to a planet far, far away. To the point where it stopped making any sense. It was just sad that he isn't able to deliver anymore. This was the first comedy show I'd been at where I saw so many people leave. People started leaving halfway through. We stuck it out almost to the end. We would have left earlier, but the waitress who was holding onto our credit card and taking her sweet time returning it to us. It was truly a disappointment (a waste of our time, a waste of our money, and sad to see).

Even a two drink minimum could not get me to laugh at his "jokes". Horrible and worst comedy show I ever went to! It wasn't even comedy, it was an hour long rant about himself. Awful. Never again.

Went to see the show on Saturday 17th. Was really excited to see a celebrity veteran performer. Opening acts were very funny, working to a 1/2 filled room is not easy. Unfortunately, was a little disapointed in Richard Lewis. He seemed a little scatter brained, jumping from one topic to the next without coming to the punch line on most of his tales...even when reminded to go back on topic, most "stories" lacked any real humor. He mentioned a few times that he really had no "act", but had so many pieces of skits in his brain from all the years performing, he would just recant those. I think he would be better off if he has some direction planned before hand so he can keep more ontrack. Left the theatre a little confused and disappointed.

There were 3 comedians. The 1st was not funny. He was a better singer than a comedian. The 2nd was very good and made me laugh. But Richard Lewis was absolutely hysterical. It is a great venue at Mohegan Cabaret for comics. Richard Lewis did not disappoint. I like the Impalers band, and the cover songs they do. Always fun to listen to. The opening act was Richard Lewis who is very accomplished but not for everyone. He was gracious enough to perform for the benefit also. Kudos to Andrew Rivers, who is a rising comedian! The venue at Snoqualimie Casino leaves a lot to desired. We have gone to concerts at the Tulalip Casino(the Best), and have eaten before shows. I must say the Snoqualimie pales in comparison. I felt the buffet prices were too expensive for here. Don't charge Las Vegas prices when you cannot deliver the same or better experience. You other choices for food are a small Sushi bar, and a cafeteria (take a number) like cafe. Underwelming at best. It is unlikely that I will take friends to Snoqualimie again.

Loved the musical portion but Richard Lewis was a bit of a disappointment. Had his rablings only gone on for a shorter time it might have been funnier but he lost the audience after a while.
