Jeff Ross
Jeff Ross is an actor, writer, director, producer, and comedian originally from Newark, New Jersey. He created and starred on "The Burn With Jeff Ross" on Comedy Central and continues to produce and star in their wildly popular celebrity roast franchise. He will next be seen on the big screen in Jeremy Garrelick’s “The Wedding Ringer” with Kevin Hart and Josh Gad as well as “Flock of Dudes” with Chris D’Elia. He also starred on ABC’s multi camera comedy pilot “Keep It Together", produced by Kevin Hart.

Jeff & Dave we re great together. Riffing off eachothef on every topic & when there was a real good one they bumped mic s..(hence the Bumping Mic s tour.) The show lasted about an hour. I was hoping for more time-mainly because we were all laughing & wanted more.. also, ushers frowned upon photos so only at the end did I get a photo.. Opening guy was pretty funny too.

Here's the rub. Jeff Ross is an insult comic. He has no more range than he shows off during his 10-minute sets on Comedy Central Roasts. Sure, it's funny, but how long can you take an insult comic? This show taught me my limit--45 minutes and I was ready to go. I didn't. Instead, I watched him blather on for another 45-minutes calling random people ridiculous things -- Ryan Seacrest's retarded nephew, for one.

I don't know why Live Nation suggested that title for my review. But they're smarter than me, so I guess they know what they're doing. My favorite thing about a live Jeff Ross event is that he uses the audience in his act. He invites members on stage to participate. Even if they have no pubic hair. I had the chance to see either Jeff Ross or that Hot Pocket Homo, GafFAGin the same night. No contest. Too soon?

I was looking forward to seeing Jeff Ross perform when he came to Portland. He did not disappoint. His act was not only funny, he is a genuinely nice guy. The only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 was because it didn't change my life, but it was a blast! My boyfriend and I sat in the balcony seating and had a couple beers while watching the show. It was a blast. Jeff was a lot of fun and he even did a mini roast on about 9 audience members who volunteered to be roasted. It was a lot of fun. His opening act was Anthony Something and he did a good job too. The Aladdin isn't over the top fancy by any means but it was a good venue for a night of laughs and beers. I would definitely see him again at the Aladdin.

If you re a fan of Jeff Ross and his style of comedy you will love this show. He and Dave Attell were witty and sharp for the majority of the show. Then Dave thoroughly distracted me with his antisocial behavior when patrons were brought up on stage. For a guy who spent the biggest part of his career interviewing people in the middle of the night he certainly looked terribly uncomfortable dealing with the audience members they brought on stage. It was extremely obvious. And his absence on stage after the show, when Jeff and their opening act came out for pictures and handshakes, was even more telling.

I had to go to see Jeff! Wrangled up a couple of family members too. One of them had to see Dave Attell, so good balance. In a perfect world, I'dda bought a whole row of tickets and had a few police officers up in there but...some of them are allergic to laughter. All in all it was great. Entertaining. not dragged down with politics. It was a love and laugh fest! When Jeff Ross is around, you get what you expect! Dave Attell seems like he'd be fun to have a smoke break with. P.S. Sam Morril was great too. His idgaf Morril's morals was a breath of fresh air.

Bought the tickets to see Attell and basically got Attell playing along with Ross roasting people in the audience. Attell and Ross did about an hour on stage together. Fans would have been much better served had they each done a 20-30 minute solo set and then 20-30 minutes together, as opposed to the melting pot of "whatever comes to mind" and riffing off each other that we got. If you like either of these comics, see them separately.

Jeff was surprisingly the most humble and respectful person in real life. He sure knows how to make people laugh and "roast" individuals. But in a way he still does it positively. He showed appreciation for everyone that came out, and even waited in the lobby to take pictures with EVERYONE THAT CAME! He gave autographs also. We drove 8 hours to see him and he couldn't believe we did that! He told us how much he appreciated that. If you want to have a great time, get out to see this guy. He should be selling out Madison Square Garden -- not Kevin Hart (who has a team of 4 writers). Let's get real, people!

I didn't know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised--my wife and I had such a good time. I only knew of Jeff Ross from Comedy Central Roasts-- and he was even funnier in person. The place was only about 75% full which is surprising considering he has some name recognition. But that was fine because the people who were there were a great crowd. He brought like 15 volunteers from the crowd onstage and went down the line roasting them and it was so funny we were crying. Jeff was kind enough to come out after the show and meet people and we got some photos with him. Seems like a good guy. Highly recommend his show.

Jeff Ross has long been one of my top comedians, but this was the first time I've seen him live. He was just as great as I had hoped. His roasting on the stage and in the audience was so professional...not subtle yet not taking advantage of obvious joke points for each specific person. Everyone was entertained and no feelings were hurt as far as I can tell. I will definitely see him again.

Jeff Ross is a true comedian! He had the whole crowd laughing from beginning to end. He did a Speed Roast of any audience member that wanted to come on stage. I would say the highlight of the whole night was when he did a meet and greet at the end and we were able to take a picture with him. Entertainers have no idea how much it means to the fan when they take the time to do that with the fans. I would definitely go see him again!!!!

Both openers (Morgan Murphy and Tony Hinchcliffe) were short & sweet and very funny. They got the crowd amped up for the headliners. Jeff and Dave performed and played off each other really well. You can tell they've probably been friends for a long time. They went back and forth playing off all kinds of topics and of course, you can't have Jeff Ross in the house without a little roasting. So they invited volunteer members from the audience to get roasted by Jeff and Dave. Very funny stuff. They did not hold back at all. Would definitely highly recommend and I can't wait to see either of them again.

Both these guys were trying something new by being out there together and I think for the most part it went off pretty well. These two make me laugh and they are very quick witted with whatever comes up. Jeff always brings people up to get roasted, but this time there were too many idiots that were drunk and this segment went on way too long as most of the guys and girls that go up there are basically the same. It's funny if there are about 10 bit there were close to 20 and it really buzz killed the end of what could have been a great show. Have a roadie select a certain number live so every idiot in the world doesn't just jump on stage.Would see these guys anywhere though!!

This was a solid show lasting just about 2 hours, which I was expecting 90 minutes top. The jokes were funny and Dave and Jeff were feeding off of each other well. The only down side was a crowd behind us who kept talking in the start of the show so it was hard to hear the jokes, but these are the same people who shout out stupid comments during the entire show. The roasting of audience members was funny and they did it to people who were young all the way up to a 60 years old man, no one was off limit. Had a great time.

The shared stage didn't work. Both are very funny normally but the format of trying to bounce jokes back and forth felt forced. In the end only every few jokes worked. The roasting of audience members was ill conceived. They didn't want to be too mean to people paying to be there but then couldn't think of how to make it funny. Relied too much on swearing and vulgar jokes to fill the time. Overall I didn't laugh like I expected at a Vegas comedy show and felt a bit cheated.

I was really looking forward to my first NY Comedy Festival and Jeff Ross/Roast Battle was highly recommended by Time Out and Interrobang. We were really looking forward to this event, but in the end it was so-so. Many of the comedians didn't seem prepared and the first 2 battles were really weak - especially disappointing since Jesse Joyce is a prior winner. The crowd wasn't warmed up beforehand and stayed cold throughout the entire lackluster show. Bonnie McFarlane was awesome though, and should have won her battle vs Mike Lawrence (who, to be fair, was also funny). Ari Sheffir was also really funny. Also, there was a group of 4 "background dancers" (dubbed The Negro Wave) who would react to the zings with crazy dances, etc, who made the awkwardness more palatable.

This was one of the worst wastes of money in my life. I paid $88 for two tickets after the fees, and it was worth maybe $30. It was completely half-assed. Jeff Ross, the "host", did about 2 minutes of material up front and then sat on the side as a judge. The comics didn't understand the format, they were all too rushed by the obnoxious emcee, and there were barely any big laughs. Terrible.

Jeff Ross really did not bring it Saturday night. The crowd was lukewarm and he never really seemed into the scene. I was very surprised when he recycled a joke I had heard on South Park more than two years old.

I expected more from this show. It started almost an hour late then when Jeff Ross came to the stage he seemed really high or drunk. He talked slow and repeated a lot of jokes he has done on his show.

Jeff's comedy with the lazy roasts and guitar left much to be desired. The non-gay gay boy from down south was pretty funny. The quiet mexican was weird, I don't know if that's just his appeal or whatever.

Jeff combines keen intelligence with a creative comic style that works wonderfully. The only constructive comment--and I am betting in hindsight he will agree--was the length of the impromptu "speed roasting" segment of his bit. It is a very impressive part of the show, but he had too many volunteers on stage, which diluted the impact and extended the bit too long. Otherwise, he entertained hysterically.

Both comics were hilarious and the person who introduced them was also very funny! I always try to sit the center section just because it's easier to see the stage. My only regret was not sitting in the front row!!

It took a few minutes for Jeff to warm up to the room, but once he got going, the jokes and laughter flowed. He handled hecklers and rude participants well without missing a beat. Natasha was downright hilarious.

All 3 comedians were hilarious. The show was almost 3 hours long so you definitely got your monies worth. Second time I have gone to the Tulalip to a show and the venue is great too.

I took my husband for our first anniversary to see Jeff Ross at the Kirby Center. I did order balcony seats and was way bummed out that enough people did not buy tickets so we had to move to the ground level....why people didn't buy tickets I'm not sure because the show was hilarious. Not sure what the name of his opening act was but he was Australian and hilarious as well! I would totally buy a ticket for one of his shows too!

The show exceeded expectations. Both Jeff and the opening act were hilarious, interactive and well worth the experience. The smaller venue made it feel very personal. Would definitely recommend Jeff Ross and any acts working with Ross to others. Great show!

I saw Jeff Ross almost two years ago and the material barely changed since that show. he is still funny but I was definately disappointed in the show. He was still telling jokes about the US Airways flight that landed in the Hudson almost four years earler. If the poems he told weren't exctly the same, they were close eough that I couldn't tell. Update your material Jeff!
