Great original voice of the '70s band, Foreigner! I have seen Foreigner after Lou left the band. They were just another tribute band without the original voice of Lou, Sorry. He doesn't look the same after the battle with his illness of endocrine system. But he is still in a good shape. Amazing! My favorite song is "Dirty White boy" not because I am not white, I just like the beats melody. I used to sing that song with my other white friends all the time when I was a kid. We never talked about the "race" back then. This song was never political. Lou and Foreigner (not like the name of the band) are never political or anti or pro immigration activity. Now, this in political environment, I can't imagine anybody makes that kind of song. It's sad. After the show, Lou came out signed on my old Circus magazine of 1979. I joked him to make it big to cover the face of Mick Jones but he said he couldn't because Mick was still his friend. I told him he was a nice white boy. Other younger band members were all talented and were nice. They put autographs on Lou's solo CD even they didn't record on that music.

When I heard Lou Gramm was playing locally a year ago it was unfortunately the day after his show. I was more than bummed that I had missed it. I love Foreigner and have been reluctant to see them with a different singer. Lou made it what it was for me so I knew I had to see him someday. Concerned that maybe he would not be at his best due to past medical reasons, those worries were quickly washed away when he sounded like the singer I had hoped for. He is not much of a showman nowadays but he still sings great and I was more than happy to have finally seen him. I recommend his concert of all hits to any fan.

His voice is not the same as twenty five years ago (of course) but he is still outstanding. Energetic band that plays the Foreigner songs perfectly.

disappointed in the show for a few reasons. the ticket said that the show was to start at 930pm. It didn't start until 12midnight. This was due to the club showing a cable boxing match that never ended. no too happy that I had to stand and watch boxing for 2.5 hours...that's not warm-up band. as far as lou, i am sorry to say that i now realize why he truly is not in foreigner anymore. he has lost that incredible voice...very weak compared to how he used to sing. the musicians he had playing for him were marginal at best. the weakest link was the guitar who quite honestly did play foreigner songs very well. unfortunately, i think you have want to hear old foreigner songs played well, you'll have to see the new foreigner.

Lou Gramm did his best to deliver the Foriegner classics, and listening to them was like running into an old friend. Graham was not nearly what he used to be, but his love for the fans shines through. It was fun to sing along and remember the good ole days.

After sitting thru 2 otherwise forgetable bands, Lou Gramm made the wait worth while. The first couple songs were a bit rough, but things tightened up nicely and turned out to be a very good show. Lou played a couple of his solo tunes, but the balance of the show was exclusively the Foriegner hits we all love. The band (which included 2 brothers) were very good, although the drummer was obscured behind a dirty glass screen. I would love to see Lou Gramm tour with Foriegner.

Awesome! Lou still has it and better then ever. Many do not realize that Lou had to drop out of the lead in Foreigner due to life threatening brain tumor. 16 years later Lou had to learn to sing all over again, his story made it all the more special to us to hear his awesome one of a kind voice ring out again. As he signed my t-shirt and my girlfriend Judy's book (for the second time) with a smile, we told him that we were his "senior groupies". Great man, great voice....we will follow him again and again.

Lou Gramm and his band put on a fantastic show at Andiamo's, with a mix of Foreinger hits and Lou's solo hits they Rocked the house! The band sounded great and Lou sounded great. one thing for sure is "the man can sing" and he gives it his all!!! Would have loved to have heard Lou sing one of the songs from his new CD, but hopefully he will add one soon! All and all a great show and I would highly recomend it!

The concert was great. Had front row seats to the left. Great view until people with too much to drink were coming to the front standing in front of everyone with no regard to others. Screaming and acting out, ignoring security who kept telling them to get back. Right from the start security did not take control and the crashers knew it so they kept pushing closer and closer to the front. Totally unacceptable. This spoiled an other wise good time.

Lou still has it!! I love his voice and the emotion he puts into his songs. I have been a big fan of his music and of Foreigner since I first heard their songs on the radio in 1977. He sang all my favorites from Foreigner and a few from his solo albums from the early 80's. He needs to keep on rockin"!! You can bet your bottom dollar I will be one of the first to buy tickets to his next venue in my area. He is the true voice of Foreigner. Penn's Peak is such a great venue too - big enough for great sound, but small enough for a more intimate experience. After the show, fans were lined up to meet Lou and have him sign books and t-shirts. Not many artists are willing to spend time with their fans like that - it was a special moment to meet one of my music idols. My son and I even got to chat with the other band members. You can tell they love what they do and appreciate the fans. This was a concet experience I will remember for a long time to come. Lou - you are definitely my Jukebox Hero!!

after seeing lou in concert again for the first time in almost 36 years, and knowing all about him almost dying from a brain tumor, i was quite unsure whether he was still able to sing like the lou i remember. i can tell you he absolutely still can! he may not be 100 percent as good as he was 36 years ago, but he is at least 99.9 percent as good! i have seen a few u-tube videos of him over the last couple of years, and i saw him struggling to be able to present the songs like they needed to be presented(stole that from mick) but i was blown away by his performance at biloxi on 11-5-16. if anyone that was at that same show and doesn't agree with me, they must have been drunk, or just weren't paying attention. lou gramm was, and still is, in my opinion, one of the 3 best rock vocalists of all time. the other 2 being freddy mercury and steve perry. they are all tied for first in my book. one is dead and the other no longer performs, so that leaves lou on top. just my call. loved the show!

What a much needed soul filler. As I get older and I am going to sound old but they just don't make music like they used to. It was inspiring hearing and feeling the real deal. Lou Gramm and the music of Foreigner are timeless. I personally, am grateful that Lou still comes out to treat us with his voice and his music. This was my first concert at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, and Lou Gramm did not disappoint, nor did the staff. We arrived early and found the event center was well staffed and very helpful. It is a nice venue, we will try to see more shows there. first off lou's background band was the best he has had in years, and they were spot on, their vocals/harmonies were tight and on pitch. as a fan of foreigner who has seen both the kelly hanson version of foreigner that mick jones has put together and lou solo. i have to say i enjoyed lou more. kelly sings the notes high pitched but they don't have the gravel that lou has...lou's voice is the way i first heard these songs...he started off really strong after about 6 or 7 songs he needed a break...a little water break, but is the best i have heard him in years...my wife danced all night..after the concert he signed shirts and books in the lobby, we had a nice conversation, not rushed, lou comes off as really good guy...who just happened to sing some of the songs that were the background music my younger life..if you want a really good copy band taht sounds like a relaly good tribute band go see kelly hanson's foreigner...but for the real deal, it has to be lou for me.

We all know that Lou is touring and the band he used to be a part of is touring as well. You should ask yourself one question. Do I want to see / hear THE VOICE of "that" band sing the favorites or do I want to see what is basically a cover band perform the favorites? It was the easiest 1/2 second decision I've ever made. Not only does Lou himself still deliver but his band is outstanding as well. I had the time of my life jamming out and singing along! GREAT TIME for the audience. His book was available at the merch table and guess what, Lou came out to sign the book, poster, photos not more than 10 minutes after he got off stage. He is one of the most genuine and kind human beings I've ever met. I've been a fan since the ripe old age of 10 and I am now 48.....I was in HEAVEN!

Having seen both Lou Gramm and the current Foreigner, Lou is better by far. Lou's voice is as good as ever and had much more excitement than the tribute band that is called "Foreigner". Mick Jones was not in Beaumont last year and therefore, it was no more than a tribute band. If you have the opportunity to see Lou and his band, GO! With Lou, there was much more substance to the music as opposed to gimmicks from the tribute band. They played close to 90 minutes and because they were as good as they were, it was too short and the time flew by. The only drawback was the drum solo because they could have played Dirty White Boy for example.

Caught Lou Gramm in Biloxi, MS and he sounded great as he ever has. His band was comprised of some excellent musicians who had great stage presence as well. Setlist featured mostly Foreigner classics but also included his solo hits "Midnight Blue" and "Just between you and me". Got to meet him after the show and Lou is one genuine soul. Being a huge fan of Foreigner and Lou, I was saddened when he became ill. I really didn't expect much of his comeback as I assumed that a brain tumor would probably end any singer's career. I'm glad I was wrong. Lou's voice, while still a bit shaky, was much better than I anticipated. We were teated to most of the old favorites with one notable exception, 'waiting for girl like you'. Oh well, can't have it all. I hear he's still recovering and improving which gives me an idea. What will happen when Mick Jones finally retires? There'll be no one original left to Foreigner...unless...

I feel sad that Lou's illnesses in the late 1990's robbed him of the voice range he used to have. Consequently at this concert the song people blare the music, especially the drum and bass to drowned out the notes Lou can no longer hit, nor even get close to. He was able to pull off a couple of songs in the lower range but overall he should retire and quit trying to fool himself and the audience that they are getting what they came to hear......it is long gone. Good luck to Lou in the future, I just hope it does not involve singing.

Who doesn't love old Foreigner songs? Right? Me too! The truth is Lou Gramm really struggled to get the vocals out smoothly. He spoke the lyrics more than he sang them. I think his age and the fact that he could stand to loose a few pounds might have been a factor. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the show and the playlist. His guitar and bass player were solid energy and I have to say they were awesome to watch. Now, let me tell you about Starship, OH MY GOD! They were amazing! Every single note hit and pitch was perfect, Mickey Thomas was outstanding along with his co-singer Stephanie Calvert. Got to give her credit for filling some big shoes, and she did a wonderful job. What a great night of reliving some of Americas great Rock and Roll History.

The reason I gave this 4 stars is because Starship just blew me away! They were so good better than I remember from back in the day. Lou Gramm was just ok. Seemed like he could not draw out the long notes anymore, everything seemed chopped. He could still hit the high notes though. But Starship is what we left talking about, and was not even looking that forward to them.

I ve loved Foreigner for years and Lou Gramm is still one of my all time favorite singers. But I never, ever thought I d have to chance to hear him sing live, because of all his medical issues, and I thought he had lost his singing voice forever. So I was just super excited to find out he was touring again and singing Foreigner songs! I had seen Foreigner last year with the new singer, and it was great to see Mick Jones and the band, they sound great, and the new singer is actually really good but nobody can truly replace Lou Gramm! So anyway, he was amazing! It s true what I ve heard some say, that his voice doesn t sound quite the same as it used to maybe not as deep but still a great voice. I loved that he sung all the songs as we re used to them I know some bands like to switch it up and do different versions, probably to keep themselves from being bored from singing the same songs over and over but I personally prefer keeping it to the classics. And he did that, so it was so much fun to sing along! I can t believe how much energy he had. He was so personable and fun. There was a full orchestra behind him for the entire show, which was really cool. His band was there too, of course, and his brother is an absolutely outstanding drummer! I really loved it! It was a rather low key crowd at first, but he had everyone up on their feet by the end especially during Hot Blooded. Man, he was so great! He sang all the hits the only one he didn t was Waiting For a Girl Like You, and I was okay with that because last year at the Foreigner show, some of the couples got up and slow danced and it got just a little too sappy, ha ha. But overall, I m so impressed with Lou, and I hope he ll come back to Atlanta again! Chastain is a fantastic place for a concert! My first time there, and I loved it!

The Atlanta Symphony opened up with queen and pink floyd songs which must have been the "C" side of records (if there was such). That part stunk and almost put the crowd to sleep! ASO backed up Lou's Band. This time ASO delivered. Lou's voice seems to have a higher pitch now and some songs were a bit off, but not all of them. Songs like " I want to know what love is" , cold as ice, juke box hero and that was yesterday were spot on. I have never seen Chaistain on 1/3 full, now I have. Although there were just a few of us we had a good time singing along.

Die-Hard Lou Gramm fans were all together in one great place tonight! Not just Foreigner fans, but more specifically, fans of one of the most recognizable voices! Along with all the famous Foreigner songs, Lou Gramm sang two of his famous solo songs Lou Gramm is more than all of this...he is a brain tumor survivor. He teaches us all that amongst serious life obstacles, we can overcome and be successful. No, he can no longer hit all of those power vocal chords that he used to, but he rocks hard! My only complaint was that Lou and the band did not perform "Dirty White Boy".

Went to see Foreigner a few years ago and was very disapointed that not one original member was on stage. They are just a cover band and Mick shows up only if its a big gig, like on TV. Seeing Lou was always on my bucket list, not only because he is one of the best vocalists in the business but also because he is a native New Yorker like myself. When you see Lou Gramm and his brother Ben, you are seeing Foreignor. The cover band that calls themselves foreignor is not the real thing. Even though Lou has been through some tough years getting through brain surgery for a tumor, he still is "the Voice". It was great to meet Lou at the end of the show, get his autograph on his book, talk and shake his hand.

The venue was great. Lou Gramm was not. The volume was way too high and Lou's voice is shot. The lead singer of Foreigner now sound more like Lou Gramm when he was with the band. We left early ears ringing and disappointed that we wasted a Friday night..
