First time at the Arden Theatre! (not the last!)... good venue, and good restaurants nearby the free and easy parking! Lots of energy and enthusiasm from the band - good music, and good musicians!

Fun to see the official Blues Brothers Review. The music was excellent and the musicians were technically outstanding. The only suggestion I would offer to some of the performers is to smile more and look more excited when performing.

While there was a lot of talent onstage, it was as if they were all doing their own show. Excellent musicians all, but weirdly disjointed. Sound was so ear-splitting, all that came through the speakers was garbled noise. Big red-flag. I needed liquid fortification so I went to the bar. While there I asked the house manager if they could please lower the sound which they did. In the meantime however, we saw many couples leave and we would have too if the decibel level wasn't turned down as it was physically painful to the ear and of course, we couldn't understand a thing being sung or played. And we're not THAT old. Interestingly enough while leaving, the sound factor seemed to be the topic of conversation among the crowds. As for the actual duo of the Blues Brothers. Was Dan Akroyd having an off-night? He faced the drums upstage more than he did the audience. He sang a couple of solos but mainly wandered the stage doing his little BB two-step and seemingly disconnected from what was going on around him. The saving grace was Jim Belushi who worked like a DOG to make this show work. He did it with terrific flair and a great sense of fun but at least to me, it was as if he was working overtime to compensate for a show that was not tight and lacked chemistry. Maybe in a smaller venue this would have worked but not in the huge theater at the Long Center. Ultimately, we walked out of there extremely disappointed. Kudos to Jim Belushi for his journeyman work ethic and showmanship. He gained a few new fans in us that night.

Wonderful venue, love the Uptown Theatre. The show was entertaining and they played all the favorites from the Blues Brothers movies. Engaged the audience several times, which made it even more fun for everyone. Great band, great music and a wonderful evening. by the end of the evening I forgot they weren't the original Blue''s Brothers. They asked everyone to not record and turn off all electronics and yet some people of course, went ahead and used their phones. It was distracting and no personnel even made an attempt to have them put them down, although they were obvious. Otherwise a very great evening.

We left at intermission. Very amateur and way, way, way too loud! Except for heavy metal bands, I've always thought that an excessively loud sound level is used to mask a not very good performance, and that was the case here. Makes me appreciate just how wonderful the genuine Blues Brothers really were!

I m very easy to please when it comes to live entertainment, but I was discouraged by the performance on Tuesday night. The sound was not mixed well, the energy was below average by the band members. This show was not a bad show but it wasn t a good one either. On a scale of 1-10 I d give it a 5. The musicians were very talented but the sound and or person running the sound board or possibly the Heymann center s sound system was bad. Not what I expected from a professional show.

Cain Park was a great venue for this concert. If I didn't know better, I'd say I was listening to Dan Akroyd and John Belushi. The crowd really responded to their showmanship and were on their feet quite a bit. The music was solid and they played for about two hours. I would come to this show again!

Guys taking the place of Jake & Elwood were better than Belushi & Akroid. Better vocals & better harmonica player.

The concert started right on time with the band coming on stage and playing the theme to Peter Gunn. Off stage Kieron Lafferty (Elwood Blues) was talking on the microphone as a video was shown depicting the Blues Brothers problems getting to the show, great fun. Then Lafferty and Wayne Catania (Jake Blues) came on stage with Catania doing a Belushi like cartwheel! They then went into the song Can't Turn You Loose. The show was approx. 2:20 minutes long including a 15 minute intermission. The backup band of Gordon Aeichele on saxophone, Charlie Cooley on drums, James Faherty on keyboard, David Herron on trumpet, Garrett Jones on bass, Kory Montgomery on guitar and backup singer Arnae Batson was very good. Lafferty and Catania along with the band captured the essence of the original Blues Brothers. Close your eyes and you see Dan Aykroyd every time that Lafferty talked, he had the tone and accent down perfect. His harmonica playing was very good. Catania's act on stage was Belushi, from the crazy dancing to the attitude. They would perform some songs, throw in a story then back to the music. The look was right, the sound was right and the show was very good and entertaining. It was very much appreciated by the responsive audience.

The Official Blues Brothers Revue was very good. It was official right down to Elwood's white socks. They were very true to the way John and Dan performed on the albums. The band was very good. Each member was a true musician with excellent credentials. The only comment to make it sound more like the original Blues Brothers Band would be to plus up the band with an additional sax or trombone player and another guitar and bass! An additional back-up singer would be great as well to make it sound like the original band. Overall, a fun experience with great music.

this was the best show I ever seen..I loved it from beginning to end...I didnt want to see it end....was having the very best time ever. It is a fantastic show..very entertaining and classy. It was great to pay tribute to John Belushi...he was a super fun guy to see on stage and in movies..I was thrilled to see Tom "Bones" Malone, Blue Lou Marini and the super talented Matt "Guitar" Murphy..all in all it was the best show I ever seen at Rialto..I hope they will bring the show back there again as I would love for all my friends to see it too. I will recommend it to everyone. Loved Otis Day and wanted to hear him sing more..he didnt get to sing as much as I would have liked. Everyone in the show was super good..very talented and professional.

Great show from beginning to end held at the Beautiful Rialto theatre. Awesome to open with Jane Belushi, sorry Dan Ackroid was not able to be present, however loved the additional Special guests, Energy & video clips. Seriously a fun filled night as I had expected, hands down. Or is that up for More applause!

This band is smokin' hot! Kory, who is their guitar player is unbelievable....seriously...he kills! It was phenomenal seeing Paul Shaffer, Blue Lou, Bones Malone, Matt Guitar Muphy, and OTIS DAY!! What a trip! My man, Otis was up there!!! It was fun fun fun. My wife and I want to become groupies. The only downside is that the humor in the show falls a bit flat at times, but it's about the music, not the jokes, and that band delivers a punch, and definitely carries the show. The guy who plays Elwood is a pretty fantastic harp player, too. We loved Elwood!

The performance surpassed my expectations. They were truly entertaining. They really knew how to work the audience. Only complaint is that seat E-5 needs repair - kept getting poked by a broken spring.

We really wanted to love this show, but it was just OK for us. The two stars looked the part, but neither of them had a great singing voice, and I just don't think they connected that well with audience. Some of the band members were very musically talented but they looked almost bored at times. I know there were some audience members who were really into it so we may have been in the minority.

The music was ear-splitting loud---so loud that you couldn't understand what they were saying. I had to keep my fingers in my ears. We left before the intermission. A complete waste of money.

This show was excellent. The music was fabulous and the musicians in the band all top rate. The performance by the lead singers was absolutely outstanding, and they channeled the original Blues Brothers perfectly. I could 'see and hear' both Dan Akroyd and John Belushi through their wonderful performances. My only complaint is that the show did not continue for another hour ...or all night!
