It was a great show! I've seen about eight different Cirque du Soleil shows in the last six years, this was definitely in the top three. Enjoyed the props and the acrobats interaction with the crowd. Also ran into a couple celebrities while at the show.

The genre was so now, if you like the current themes like vamipires, werewolves and Edgar Allan Poe this is the show for you. Not only is the genre happening but then you have the performances that were mind boggling and spectacular. So much fun.

The man doing the opening act, i literally felt embarrassed for him. Was not funny when supposed to be and at most times was awkward for audience. The host of the show sounded scripted the whole time. There was at one point some technical difficulties which is understandable, but when stopping in middle of an act bring out some dancers or play some orchestra music until problem is solved and show resumes. The finale was weak and when the house lights went on the whole audience sat for a moment not knowing if it was even over.

Cirque Berzerk is a dark, playful, twisted, ticklish spectacle of a show. It's as though Cirque du Soleil and Marilyn Manson had a glorious love child intent on seeding your soul. Worth every penny and wll leave you with the most fantastic nightmares for weeks to come........ ;D

The finale didn't work. The audience didn't arrive until 20 minutes into the performance. This show has so much potential but was not ready to be in a theater. The humor at the beginning was missed by loud people who didn't know the pre show had already started. Please club nokia. Get your ushers trained. Hold the show and pre show until the audience is in the house. Cirque please get your show together. Opening weekend is way too late to fix technical problems.

If you're gonna go to this show, make sure to pay sit down seatings. Don't pay the premium since view is pretty close anywhere you sit. Don't expect a spectacular choreography. The dancing was awful! Other than that, the stunt is great to watch.

This show was so much more than we expected. My finance and I were out on Date night and this truly made the night perfect. I didn't know what to expect or exactly what type of show this was but in a few words I would say this was a play, circus and concert all in one. This was awesome. I would recommend to everyone. It's a little strange and a whole lot of cool. This is definitely must do again next year.

Cirque Berzerk is a must see... My Girlfriend and I really enjoyed the show. There was a lot of amazing things going on and the story line was great. Only problem is we were up on the mezzenie row cc and they no not control the way people enter and the were walking by interuptng the show for the first 15 mins or so... Other then that... It was great. They even had a waitress bringing drinks ...

This event was recommended by a friend who had seen it a few years ago. I couldnt wait to see it. I think if you had never seen any of the cirque du soliel shows you might enjoy it but the quality of the production was poor. There was nothing new in the show. The venue is to cramped to put that many people on the floor on folding chairs.i was really bummed that I spent 150 bucks and hours LA traffic for this.

Cirque Berserk has a Cirque du Soleil under-tone, but it is presented with "attitude". We were delighted with the story line, the costumes, and the FUN from start to finish. The small club-like venue added to the over-all ambiance of the show.

We loved the show! If you saw Cirque Berzerk in the tents downtown, understand the show is a little different... It's still a wonderful show however there are not as many crazy "stunts"! If you have not seen the show before I highly recommend it, it's not for children as there several "adult themed" situations throughout. The performers are incredibly talented and their performances are mind blowing. The music is fantastic and in our opinion, an integral part of the entire show! Highly recommend!

It an amazing dark rabbit hole when you enter. The stage is filled with tiers and twisty levels accented with white bulbs. The show is mesmerizing, erotic and funny. The acrobatics and stage presence of all the cast members transport you to an underworld of macabre. Truly an event worth visiting again and again.

While the show itself was average, being overconceived for such a small venue and relatively unimpressive performance, the seating was terrible. We bought lower price tickets due to the uncertainty of the quality, having heard mixed reviews from friends. We bought the tickets based on the seating chart given at time of purchase and by the venue. We arrived to discover that the seating area was in fact not a seating area, but rather a standing space. Moreover, even though we had the best possible standing spot, the view of the performance was largely obscured by the balcony. We saw something like 1/3-1/2 of the performance, something that would have been anticipated by the production. While there were monitors displaying what we missed, these were small and far away. If we had wanted to watch tv, we could have stayed home and had a better view of our own set, perhaps with something better on it. Finally, I have to say, the whole goth theme could have been interesting if it hadn't taken the worst aesthetic elements and highlighted them. Don't waste your money. We left feeling cheated, and, if we hadn't been in such a hurry to leave, we would have demanded our money back.

It was good , but I went in with mixed feelings. Would it be as good as it was year prior?? How could they top what was done by havingit inside a club. It was good, but fell short of the original time watching. It needs to be in a big top tent, bring it back to the Cornfield!

I was really excited to see this show at the Nokia. The theatre was great, the set was great, the costumes were great, but that was about it. They had all this potential to put on a great show, but it ended there. The storyline was ridiculous and very slow. At one point there was some weird gay love triangle story going on. I couldn't figure it out. The songs were disappointing. And there wasn't much circus involved. The best part were the hot trampoline guys. Other than that a total snooze. Sorry Cirque Berzerk.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. As others have said in reviewing the show, the first half is better than the second half. But really, how can you beat the trampoline act that ended the first half? The aerialists were quite good - both the male/female pair and male/male pair were delightful to watch. The biggest problem was the seating. We were close to the stage but because the flooring/seating is not banked, it's difficult to see when a taller person or wider person, or even worse, a taller and wider person sits in front of you.

Cirque Berzerk was an incredible, surreal experience. Having missed it the previous year, it was nice to know they were back in town with a more polished act in a new venue. It was held at Club Nokia in an intimate setting, so pretty much every seat was a great seat. The perfomers were top notch with their cringing acrobatings, and the dancers, both male and female were sultry and playful. All in all, and most would agree, Cirque Berzerk has definitely matured in one year, from it's grungy location and motif, moving on to a polished, innovative theme. This show has incredible potential.

When you get past the overacting, the dreadful script and out of tune singing, you are left with some talented acrobatics and Cirque-like performances that are dazzling. The first act is really all you need. The second act is supposed to be the grand finale with a resolve to the inner conflict of the recently departed "girl in red," but it fails miserably as her performance is by far the weakest of the show (except for "Dr. Death??"). Great trampoline, outstanding ring floor performers and some good strength performers. The hefty web performer makes everything look hard. It's an amateur show with a great set and some, just some, great performers. I'd give it three thumbs down.

We saw it the second night when they opened (floor seats) and wanted to go back and get a different angle (lower balcony) and the show was still fantastic, and a little different from first time but in a good way. But come on people, have your seats when the show starts. And leave your hats at home or take them off so people can see the show who may be sitting behind you.

It's a "small-time" performance really. Some interesting acts...seemed to throw in the men kissing for just shock value. There was not anything really new that I have not seen. Plus I think what is key with these type of Cirque shows is the music. The wailing of those singers honestly was getting annoying or putting me to sleep.

I'm sure the show Cirque Bezerk at Club Nokie was very good, but my $60 seat BEHIND a huge pillar wasn't worth $60. This is the second time I've seen a show at Club Nokia (the first being the Pee Wee Herman Show) where the sight-lines to the stage SUCKED. I suggest that if you see a live show at this venue, you get a balcony ticket or you won't see the show you are paying for. Hey Club Nokia, ever heard of raking the audience on platforms so they call see? Why would you sell a seat hehind a frickin pillar?

I went to see this show with a friend, and while we really enjoyed it, there were a few drawbacks. Most notably, the venue is not great for this particular show. As far as 'vibe' it's perfect, but we were sitting a bit off to the side and maybe six rows back, and so it was a very limited view of the stage. Even if we had seats close to the front and in the middle, there's a low overhang and the stage is deep and high rather than wide, so it was difficult to see a lot of what was going on. It feels like the show was designed for a larger space than club nokia. Mostly the show was really enjoyable. As with other shows like it, it's a vague premise used to tie together various acts. The whole Welcome-to-Death thing was a little on-the-nose, but generally fun, and the majority of the acts were really wonderful to watch. It was also nice to see a show that combined dance with music with 'circus' acts. The performers all seemed very talented and committed to the style of the project, and the production design was very high quality.

This has to be the greatest show of anything I have ever been to. I was expecting to be filled with all kinds of "ooh" and "ahh"....but it was more along the lines of simply amazing. The trapeze acts were spectacular, the couple from the closet was amazing, and I cant believe the tone and definition of the two guys who swung around the ropes. I didnt know there were back muscles that could have such tone. Plainly put, this is the greatest show of the new millenium. It cant be catagorized as any one particular kind of show because it is all over the place. To fully understand the level of amazement that is Cirque Berzerk, one must see Cirque Berzerk for themselves.

Cirque Bizerk was an amazing performance. It is right up there in quality with the permanent Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas- Ka, Love, Mystere and O. And I thought it sexier than the somewhat cheesy Zumanity, which is also in Vegas. I am recommending it to everyone to see.

This was the first time I went to Cirque Berzerk. I was with friends who had seen it the last time it was in LA when it was actually in a field with tents and a real circus vibe. This year it should be called Cirque Berzerk, LLC. It smells very strong now of corporate. Look, I'm happy for the performers and managers of Cirque, because there's nothing wrong with making money from what you love to do. BUT, when making money jeopardizes the quality of your show to the point of complete lack of common sense in the functionality of the design, there's a problem. What am I talking about? The entire draw of the show is the acrobatic feats high in the air. Who in the world decided to have the event in a small venue with a low ceiling which covered the upper half view of the stage for the majority of the people in attendance? It was a half ass solution to add screens for live streaming of the air performances for anyone after the fourth row of seating so that they could see the show but I wanted to see a live performance. It felt like I was watching it on PBS. This venue made absolutely no sense. The only reason to choose a venue like this is $$$. It offered nothing to the atmosphere or spirit of the show, in fact it took most of the spirit of the show away. In summation, I loved the performers, they were really giving it their all, but worst location for an event like Cirque Berzerk. Please, next time around, get away from the concert venues. I suggest taking over the LA River and doing a post-apocalyptic theme.

Cirque Berzerk was a very original sensually erotic and exotic show! I wish they had a longer run at a larger location. I was cautious about spending the money and taking the time to come see the show based on past reviews that I had read, and I am very glad we went. This is an amazing show. The performers are truly enjoying what they do, not just "performing". The venue is small and the cast interacts with the crowd quite a bit. The performances were fantastic and the length of the show was perfect. The only thing that really bummed me out was that I would have liked to pick up a CD of the music from the show but there nothing like that - not even a DVD. We will go again.

The show had very talented performers, but lacked a complex storyline. The main character was boring. The only costume changes done was the main actress stripping off clothing. The music was annoying and repetitive. The alcoholic drinks at the bar were very over priced. After the show I was taking pictures with the cast and was scolded for touching an actor on the back.

While I wouldn't pay top dollar for this performance, it was a lot of fun! Kinda' circus-ee and kinda' dark. Some of the acts were incredible - the man and woman balancing act, some were mediocre but fun - the trampoline act, and some were simply unremarkable - the cirque du soleil-ish act with the curtain. Some of the singing was a bit off-key, but the music was cool. Plot? What plot? There were some heavy sexual overtones that I didn't mind, but in some cases were a little over the top. We sat in the balcony. As long as everyone sat with their backs against their seat, the view was fine. This show is not appropriate for kids.

Not that many people there and we pretty much sat where ever we wanted. Show was more like a Tim Burton production dark at times but very Cirque de Sol as far as a scale from 1-10, I would give it an 8. I remember the first time I went to a Cirque Berzerk event. It was held on a field on the outskirts of Downtown LA. They had tents and a band playing outside. There were entertainers outside showing off some of their skills. The show was amazing and you can see everything wherever you were seated. The show was longer and the acts were definitely better. And, afterward, the band kept playing outside for us to dance and drink and be merry. This time around, Cirque Berzerk has become just a show. It was less than 2 hours and the acts were not as spectacular. I'm really glad, though, that the trampoline act was still amazing.

I agree having this show at the nokia is a bad idea, to small of a space and a lot of blind spots for viewers. Aside from that i really enjoyed the show. My husband actually liked it, which surprised me . The dancers and acrobats were great . It does remind you of a dark circus act, if tim burton had a circus this would be it. Park a few blocks away and walk...way cheaper. Grab a couple of cocktails before and enjoy yourself. It was a fun fantasy to watch.

This was our first time to Cirque Berzerk - so we had nothing to compare it to. It was amazing - like Cirque du Solei with attitude. We had excellent seats (second row) and it was like the performers were performing just for us. VIP lounge not that impressive - but everything else was breathtaking!!!

It's worth the price of admission to see Tavi and his partner, Neil, fly on the straps. Amazing performance!

An interesting story line the music was good, but for a show that calls itself "Berzerk" they need to step it up. Save your money and go see Cirque du Soleil, the acrobatics of this show are nothing in comparison. Not to mention Club Nokia is a great venue to go see a concert but not well suited for this show. The general admission tickets had a great view of the stage but you were forced to watch the tv screens in order to see the stuff in the air and if you paid for balcony you had a good view of the air but not the stage. I think the concept of this show is wonderful but the final result seemed to be a cheap knock off of Cirque du Soleil.

Amazing! The atmosphere before and at intermission added to the feel of the show. There were vendors that represented the feel of the show. Being a former dancer it was difficult to experience the show at face value, there were so many technical elements that blew me away. I will definatly see it again to see things that I missed.

The show was good, but doesn't measure up to any of the Cirque du Soleil shows that I have seen. While the acts were entertaining and well performed, they were strikingly unoriginal. It was like renegade Cirque du Soleil performers had raided Hot Topic in 2004 and developed a show around their loot. We sat in the "Best Available" 3rd row center. Unfortunately, $200 bucks bought us two plastic chairs zip tied together well below the stage. I won't be wasting my money on anything with seats at Club Nokia ever again.

It was cool to watch but felt as if something was missing to give it more of a wow factor to it. A nice organized story plot could have helped cause at times it seemed confusing and a little lost as to what was going on. Having it at the club nokia kind of sucked since the stage was super small and cramped. Also seating was bad. Half of the show was under the balcony so the people on the balcony didn't see what went on below them.

I enjoyed the story line of the show. However, I thought it lacked as far as acts. At intermission I was left thinking, "that's it?" The trampoline wall act was FABULOUS and there was another great act in the second half. It was an enjoyable night out, but I'm glad I got my tickets half price.

Not to sound like a snob, but after watching many Cirque du Soleil shows, it just doesn't compare. Many of the stunts and aerials have been done 15 years ago and some you can watch for free at Venice beach. The trampoline was the most entertaining tho! Also, most of the balcony seating provided a poor view even though I was seated in the lower section. They need to back up on stage by at least 5 feet. What happened was that if someone in front leaned forward to get a better view, he or she would be blocking those behind. Oh yeah, I almost forgot..there is one act that strobe lights you to the point that I had to literally cover my eyes cause it was sooo intense! I went cause I heard good things about it last year, and plus I wanted to see what Nokia Live was all about. It was ok for the price I paid for the tickets, but would I go again? A weak maybe.

My wife has been wanting to see Cirque Berzerk for a long time now so I surprised her with tickets for our anniversary. I'm glad I did because we had a great time and laughed a lot. There was a high level of energy among the performers which extended out into the crowd as we cheered them along! It was amazing and proved to be a fun evening.

This was my second time seeing Cirque Berzerk. It was a great show - lots of drama. In comparison to the first one I saw about 2 years ago, however, it lacked some of the daring acrobatics & fire stunts I loved. The stage was significantly smaller and the overall atmosphere was lessened by the venue being at a club as opposed to in a real circus tent. That said, if you've never seen it before and have no previous experience to compare to, it's definitely worth seeing. Costumes are amazing, the aesthetic is unlike any other theatre performance out there - burlesque meets vaudeville meets Cirque du Soleil meets steampunk meets goth. Quite a unique look.

The show was great! The only reason for the 4 stars is the seating in Club Nokia sucks. Basically they are metal chairs, and if you get stucjk behind someone tall, you won't be able to see much! Other than location, the performers and show was excellent!!

The performances were almost perfect. The performers were themselves very diversified... not all were thin, wiry, "you have to be 20 to do this"-looking. My lady friend grabbed my arm so tight sometimes when it looked like someone is going to fall or a shoulder is going to pop. Apparently I was grabbing her arm back ;) My only issue was with the venue.. or seating to be more precise. Those in the back could not see when the performers came to the front of the stage. We went a few seats forward, almost to the start of the balcony.. but no luck :( We still have to half-get-up from our seats to see what's going on.

I really liked it. It was my first time. It was 2 hours long and it keeps you entertained. I don't recommend it for little ones. Teenagers ok. I sat in the center upper balcony and I couldn't see the costumes and make up that well. Next time I will purchase tickets on the lower balcony or bring binoculars. Other than that you can see the whole show very well.

Good concept, bad execution. Set was well done. Cast was just okay. Performance felt secondary to making money at the bar. Attendees were roaming around during performance. We lost interest before intermission.
