Loved the atmosphere and this style of music at the beach! In between bands we could go swim in the ocean or eat and drink. We were able to get very close to the stage and could relax on blankets! Shovels and Ropes were extremely impressive with their multiple instrument abilities. They also had an amazing connection between them and performed with great passion. All the bands we saw were very good, but Need To Breathe is our FAVORITE! They manage to perform with excellence, fun and humility at the same time. They obviously enjoy what they do and love to watch their fans enjoy it too. We saw them in Raleigh, NC last year...it was a fantastic show, but we prefer this "pace" at the beach! As one of their songs goes: Let's have a great night, on the dance floor.....I'll be swimming' to shore.... That we did...swam...and danced to some dynamic music! Thank you for bringing this show to us!

Silent Planet

The show itself was phenomenal! Silent Planet is very engaging to the audience, displays amazing energy from all band members, and the other bands were awesome too! Only problem is The Shelter....it s easily crowded, the pit has support poles right in the middle of it, and the stage is pretty small. Also, all bands had sound issues which interrupted the flow between bands. The sound crew worked diligently to resolve them quickly, but it was a fairly constant issue. That said, will I go back to the Shelter? Yup! Would O recommend someone else going to see their favorites bring down the House? Absolutely!

This was the third w00tstock I'e attended and as usual it was an awesome show! The Randy Newman movie soundtrack bits by Paul & Storm were my favorite part of the show, although the "Feelin groovy" singalong that closed out the show was great too.

It was a great show, only thing is I had VIP seating and just anyone was coming into the first row blocking my view. They should have lamanets card for VIP seating, BUT otherwise a great show

While the first opening band wasn't great, the noodles and the pillows were awesome! The venue was too hot which made it worse when all the people crammed to the small front space on the first floor. The sound level was too high overall so it was harder to hear the actual singing and music. the noodles were down their drummer so the pillows drummer filled in and their set was really fun. Lead singer had a bunch of energy. I have seen the pillows live two other times. They do a great show. They play and sing well and their music has a lot of fun energy. They played several FLCL hits along with a couple ones that were from other albums. They played two extra songs after leaving the stage and returning. After the show, the noodles had a signing in the lobby. I got a photograph autographed and a picture taken. We were told to leave by security shortly after the concert ending. I was sad not to get to meet the pillows again like I had done previously. My wife had her photo taken with Sawao many years back and I wanted to do the same, plus I brought a cd booklet to get signed. Overall it was an excellent concert and a great memory.

Kool Keith

DJ Slipwax opened up the show displacing his skills on the turntables which was nice. There were over 5 opening acts, I didn't enjoy any of their music to remember names. Kool Keith hit the stage around 11:00 to Ease Back and ran through snippets of songs through most of his performance. He only performed for about hour, but I met some ladies which made up for the night. I might check him out again

What an amazing show and a great venue. We had absolutely no problems seeing the stage and were even able to get up close. The show was amazing and I really hope they consider coming back again next year for another reunion tour.

This is my 5th time seeing Snow Patrol (yes, I'm a devoted polar bear). I remember seeing them in Houston in 2005 when they had no special effects (lights, strobes, screens with images) and they rocked anyway. Seven years later they still are hot and their music relatable and diverse. They play a great show and a LONG show! They really enjoy what they do and love sharing it with their fans (they played about 2 hours). Plus, the guys are just easy on the eyes! And Gary is great at entertaining the crowd with his self-deprecating humor and outgoing ways. He is not afraid to go out of the box for a laugh and it works every time.
