This was one of the best Performance Art shows I've ever been to! SO energetic! Fun audience inclusion! Happy musical numbers! I loved the story line: A tale of Love, Friendship, and Acceptance of Others. Wonderful show for young and old alike!!! I saw it with my 20 year old daughter. She loved it too! Totally a new and different experience. Blending dance, art, music, and illusion. We really enjoyed the show and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys performance type shows. The case met us after the show for a meet and greet and posed for some great pictures.

Wow -- we didnt really know what to expect, but we were thrilled with this show. The music, the visuals, the fantastic cast of performers -- everything was just amazing. We left out of there with a few pieces of silver mylar .... in awe! The show is loud. My daughter has sensitive hearing, so sitting in the 5th row was a bit loud - but she was thrilled to be there once they started throwing out all of the balloons and aluminum! Her dad gave her his ipod ear-plugs to put in her ears, and she was just fine for the rest of the show! Just something to be mindful of if you are close to the speakers.

I didnt know what to expect with this show, but we were not disapointed! The lighting, choreography and music was wonderful. Very imaginative and interactive. As a bonus, some of the cast came out to the lobby with some of the props when the show was over.

My husband and I were looking for something different to do other than seeing a movie or listening to live music. We searched Charleston City Search and found this show. It sounded interesting so we decided to go. Wow! We were amazed by the creativity of the flexible piping!! Adding a story line and interacting with the audience made it even more exciting!!

Excellent dancing and performing, good props, excellent robotics, music well done. Only complaint is the crowd interaction was all on the center and left, the people on the right were basically ignored. Cute story line. Was a good show. Cast interactive afterwards with audiance.

We could afford balcony seats, Do not get balcony seats for this show, the show comes into the audiance and we could not see what was going on in many parts of the show. also we sat so high we could see the puppeteers behind the screens, First show I disliked so much I left before it was over. I hear the people on the floor liked it much more.

If you saw the blue man group and/or stomp you will be very disapointed of the aluminum show. It doesnt match up to nether of the shows. It is more of a dancing with huge slinkys around show. thats it. I mean for the kids it is a perfect entertainment but not worth it if you have no little ones to take with you. really, I sat there and wondered why did I waste so much money for this...

I would love to be inside the designer's head - what creative genius! I was as awestruck as if I were at a magic show! Don't overlook this opportunity for a great show!

The show has trace elements of both STOMP and Blue Man Group, but doesn't really achieve the same level of talent or charm. My kids were entertained, and there were parts that were very good, but overall, the performance was just ok. I'm glad I got the 4 pack for $50, because I'd have been disappointed if I paid the full $30 per ticket.

I was intrigued by the show's description on paper, but I really didn't know what to expect. It was nothing less than amazing, and was truly a cross between Blue Man Group and Stomp! I was captivated from start to finish. I especially loved the interaction with the audience. I wish I could see it again!

The show was too fragmented. I enjoyed some parts but didn't like other parts. The singing with the black screens was so out of place and didn't seem to fit with the rest of the show at all. I think it could've ended with the "baby" being found and been just fine. Everything after that seemed extraneous. The pillows in the audience was fine; but the aluminum "snakes" were too similar to the Blue Man Group toilet paper and a little forced. I would have a hard time recommending this show. My guest really enjoyed it, but she has not see BMG or Cirque, of which I have seen both; much higher quality shows.

The dancers were excellent, however the dance routines were the same througout the entire show. Boring. Mix it up! Also they never changed their costumes. Boring. Then, when they did the pose that is on their advertisement for the show (with the aluminum coil around their body, with only their feet sticking out), about 5 seconds. They should have done a whole dance routine with those costumes. The routine with the two aluminum pipes flirting, was drawn out and boring. I like the concept, but it went on way too long and they did that a couple of times in the show. Boring! Also, when they had the audience participation with the floating balloons, the upper deck didn't get to join in the fun. They easily could have made sure both levels had the balloons. Overall, the show fell short and could be excellent if they put a little more variety in it. This was more like a good high school play, rather than a professional show.

A bit slow starting. Once it revs up, it's entertaining. The finale is a bit confusing, there are a number of times when you think the show is over and it goes on - about three times. Interactive portions are fun. Music, like the story line, becomes more engaging as the show goes on. The use of recycled aluminum is very interesting and unique. Overall it was good.

I was pleasantly surprised at the energy and enthusiasm displayed by the dancers in this show. I did not know what to expect when I bought the tickets. The show was funny, active and attention getting. I commend Symphony Hall staff for bringing a great family show to Springfield. Who would think that ordinary aluminum could bring out emotion in human beings?

Not knowing what to expect, we had a blast!! Theatrics, dance, set dressing, puppetry, music, acrobatics, ....everything was unique!! Not to mention audience interaction and participation. Most of all, at the close of the show, dancers and robotics guys all came out and had folks (esp. kids) try on the puppets, robots, etc. GO and bring the kids. If you don't have any, grab a kid off the street. You'll be glad you did!!! Excellent value.

Very disappointed that I was told my seats were upgraded and I actually had worse seats where their was no audience participation on upper level. All guests on upper balcony felt left out during audience participation parts. Show started off very boring and was hard to sit through. Finally picked up towards the end of the show.

I was excited for this show, but knew as soon as the first 'aluminum' hoses began writhing on stage that I was not in the right place. Although the performers seemed to be having a good time and did well, the content was shallow and base. I was seriously contemplating my get-away during an intermission, but maybe they knew they'd lose audience members if that happened because they went straight through without an intermission. The show lasted 80 minutes and I was ready to leave after ten.

The Aluminum Show was great family entertainment! This event was a disappointment in terms of money spent, a precious hour wasted, and my erosion of confidence in the Broward Center's programming department. The show was unfocused, and dull. If it was supposed to be avant guard, it missed the mark.

A show for kids, but a big disappointment as an adult - very little presentation of the troops gymnastic abilities or dancing skills- lots of rolling on the floor and shaking the tubes. The "river dance" only proved that they had not rehearsed enough - they were not precise in their moves or in time with each other. A show that could have been produced by a college production team. One "act" did stand out more than others - the "tubes" expanding and covering the audience - if added some interaction with the audience and was well done. I would not recommend it especially as having purchased tickets at $70 each when the show first was advertised and then we received emails the day before the event selling tickets at 2 for $20 - which several people we talked to in the lobby had taken advantage of.

Neither my wife nor I liked the Aluminum Show. The special effects, dancing and gymnastics were enjoyable, but the (lack of a) plot was confusing to me. I don't know if this qualifies as "abstract art", but I could not understand the significance of many things that happened on stage. I became bored and irritated over the waste of money for the tickets. I would not recommend this show to anyone, other than a theatre critic.
