Never in my life did I think I would have a chance to see Alan Parsons perform live. He once again put together a group of musicians who were true to the music I have enjoyed for so many years. It was a celebration of many instruments and voices. Moving performances, especially by the lead singer. Parsons himself was at peak performance and was very witty, eliciting not only cheers but laughter from the crowd. A night to be remembered!

Great venue and beautiful night; outstanding musicians and singers! Enjoyed some of my favorites...but really came to here more of my all-time favorite album, "Turn of a Friendly Card". They focused on another album...forget which. But still enjoyed!

This was one of the best performances I have seen for a very long time. Some of the microphones were a little distorted and need looked at but other than that, it was a fantastic show. I would return to see another performance when touring again! Thanks for the party!

The evening with Alan Parsons was a truly wonderful and memorable experience,in such a very intimate and relaxed venue. Scott Goldman was fantastic and made it both entertaining and enlightening. Having my twenty-six year old nehew share the experience was a testimonial of music's transcending power and influence, a very uplifting time. Looking forward to the next event, hopefully soon! P.S. Is there a way to receive text messages on upcoming events or future evenings with ... ?

We are huge fans of Alan Parsons and have seen him many times. It was great to hear his history in the music business and the Alan Parsons sound. We are definately going to another event at the Grammy museum.

Alan Parsons is a genius! He is the master of the lost art of audio engineering and production. I was privileged enough to sit at the first row in front of the stage and listen Alan Parsons' insights and comments about recording, "listening" and producing. We also watched a little excerpt from his new DVD-set on audio recording -- very informative. The venue was great too -- it accomodated a total of 200 people and even the last row was very close to the stage. It felt very intimate. You have to see Alan Parsons if you get the chance. His words are full of wisdom and his songs act as a soundtrack to many people's lives.

I have been an Alan Parsons all my life. Since I was in my native country of El Salvador, I was first introduced to AP when I heard I Robot. He has created amazing music; being in front of him in person and hearing his stories was absolutely unreal; it was an amazing experience.

Alan Parsons presented a good overview of his recording career, Interviewed by Scott ???. He performed 3 songs live, and David Pack (Ambrosia) performed one song... it was certainly lacking on the live musical performance quantity side. The "meet and greet" was limited to 1 item only for autographs... and it was encouraged that that 1 item should be the discounted $129 DVD set that Parsons was promoting. Mr. Parsons was kind enough to sign 4 items for me (I am an avid collector), much to the chagrin of the Grammy Museum staff... who wanted to restrict it to 1 item only. If I knew that there was such an un-fan friendly 1 item limit, I would not have bothered to go to the event...

An outstanding evening with great weather and even better music and performance from the Alan Parsons Project. This was one of my "bucket list" MUST SEE groups and I was not disappointed. From the first note to the final this was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I would definitely see the Alan Parsons Project again ..... and again, and again.

My third time seeing Alan Parsons live in the last three years and this one was the best yet. Solid, tight band, new additions, true to original music without being rote or canned, lively, beautiful vocals, and great camaraderie among the members. The drummer was crazy good, and the electric violinist added a real element of surprise to the stage. I will attend any time he's in my area!!!

This show exceeded all our expectations. The perfect playlist performed by 9 incredibly talented musicians. The 5 strong lead vocals led the pack with the masterful production by Parsons to achieve their infamous, unique and familiar sound. We hadn't seen them in 22 years so this was a much anticipated concert for us. They sounded as fresh and on point as years ago. It was definitley "feel good" taking us back and bringing us forward all at one time. If they'd played an encore the next night, we would have been there to enjoy it all over again. If you've never had the experience, APP is a "must see" event! If they come to your town, don't miss them!

Usually stuck in bed while I"m being consumed by various degenerative bone diseases that's killing me in a most painful way. But I have to roll out on occasion, such was the case that Sunday when I saw the new electronic sign flashing THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT LIVE TONIGHT! I thought I had slipped into a dream with in a dream for a bit there. Suddenly my day was changed. Wow! Had 3.5 Hours notice that APP was in Town. DECISIONS ya know? I'm on a budget WHAT TO DO? Medications or A voice in my head told me to go for it, so for once I listened and quickly bought a Ticketmaster.com ticket in faith. Quickly finding myself in my power chair w/out helper, playin' APP for the nice folks in line. Doors opened folks had me in 1st. So I had the guys seat me quickly so I'd be out of the way and they have to pull a seat 4 seats in. Soon the other 3 claimed their seats next to me & dang if one wasn't the bereavement councilor for the the hospice across the street from me we talk & I tell her how I thought I'd never see APP Live before I'd pass and how special and important the night was that I didn't even try to get a helper and was doing it all on faith cause I love the band so much. Lights went down, show came up and it was INCREDIBLE! The Man The Band the MUSIC...The Alan Parsons Project LIVE! went off like a mind bomb the current group of players so full of talent and timing with Mr. Parsons way above it all leading with his usual cool aplomb. First outstanding half of the show is mostly stuff from the later part of the APP's Catalog and a new track from a upcoming album. Again the BAND AND LEADER are just kickin butt all over the place, playin so tight that It almost hurt (n the best way) Mr. Parsons then announced it the band would be taking a break then returning to play PYRAMID in it's entirety. Again, WOW! As I patiently waited the Hospice Lady and the guy who takes care of seating came up and asked "WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THE REST OF THE SHOW FROM THE FRONT ROW" I said yes and just started blubbering as they rolled me RIGHT up to the front stage thanking them both so much thru tears of joy and amazement. ROAR! Lets get this party started! Again the lights go down and up comes PYRAMID (June 1978) in it's entirety live! And me stage front! Not only do we have the Project itself but new voices within... a percussionist/saxist/excellent singer and a Soy-Free Violinist that totally tore it up. Take it from me, get your APP tickets TODAY! Don't wait and be sure to pick "BEST AVAILABLE" it's gonna be worth every penny with some of the best seats in the house. The Hospice Angel said I should start planning my next ADVENTURE right away! It would be a great thing to get to see JOURNEY/DEF LEPPARD @ the Sprint Center on 6/25/2018. But the finances are tight for the dyin guy on disability. I'm gonna pray hard and lord willin It will happen as Def Leppard ARE my band some of the band members were my age at the time when they released their first Album and then I realized there's nothing to hold us kids back and threw everything into creative life. Keep me in your positive thoughts that I have the time to make it and resources in time to get a decent ticket. Bless y'all thanks for reading, and as always ROCK ON WITH TICKETMASTER!!!

I don't know where to begin. We have been fans for years,,, and years. This was a small, outdoor venue in Denver. The sound was crystal clear. They may be old(er), but these guys still know how to rock. Alan is the witty, English gent on stage, so much fun. And did I mention the music? This was absolutely the BEST concert I have ever seen (and over the years I've seen quite a few). Kudos to Alan Parsons and the band, and thank you, for a wonderful evening

This was the first concert I have attended at Levitt Pavilion in Denver and the first time I had seen Alan Parsons Project live. They did not disappoint, After a few new and old songs, and a brief intermission they played "I Robot" from start to finish. One of the few times that a band actually replicates the album without long solos or attempting to make the songs sound different from the original album. I Robot stands on its own as one of the few albums in the 70's that doesn't have a bad song on it. Highly recommend seeing this show. Chemistry with this band is amazing.

Levitt Pavilion is a new venue in Denver at Ruby Hill Park. This was a fee concert, they do have many free concerts which is nice. Seating is a bit close and they're folding chairs. I thought that the concert started too early as the sun was still brightly shining and in the band's eyes. I wondered how they would prevent people outside the "concert" area from seeing the show for free - security guards were making people move. There are many close by places to eat, our 1st time at Pasquini's, yummy! They also had many varieties to choose from at Levitt and plenty of beverages. We had a good time and will come back for more shows.

Great Venue, with a lot of space on the lawn for seating. Large number of seating areas with great views of the stage. Convenient and free parking. The only issue was the concert had a bit of a sound problem at the beginning. Seems like they could have figured that out during sound check, but it got better as the concert went on.

It's amazing that this group is still relevant after 40 years. First got hooked in college when they released "Tales of Mystery and Imagination." To this day, their music is still unique. The band is full of excellent musicians who can sing, with many playing multiple instruments. Sound is full without being overpowering, which was good for all us 50/60 somethings in the audience who appreciate quality over volume. The venue is great. Actually would have preferred to have sat on the lawn in more comfortable lawn chairs, but a minor issue. I have never attended a concert before where the band played an entire album (I ROBOT). What a treat. Overall a great evening. This is the last group on my concert bucket list, so I am a happy man.

This was definitely the place to enjoy Alan Parsons. Levitt Pavilion was easy to get to. GPS of course , coming down from Fort Collins. The park was very nice, clean and parking was great and close. Big enough for a nice crowd but small enough not to get out of hand. Another great Denver Venue worth checking out. War and Yes will be there this summer and this is the place to check them out.

Once the overheating issue with some equipment was resolved (getting baked in the setting sun), from the opening measures of "May Be a Price to Pay" to the final notes of the encore, "Games People Play" the performance was epic. The only discernible difference in songs from this performance from their studio counterparts was the sound of the appreciation of the crowd and the well executed improvisations of the individual solo jams. Each of those jams was inserted so flawlessly into the context of the original studio release that one could almost imagine the version being experienced was just another take at Abby Road, Mayfair, or any of the other studios the Project used through the years. Absolutely epic performance and if you have a chance to see them, do so.

To me, Alan Parsons is a must see artist. His solo work and moreover, his work with AP Project were so trend-setting and unlike anything else of the era. His music is rich with many instruments and happily, with many musicians, he was able to provide song after song of classic AP Project music.

This was my third time to catch the latest incarnation of the Alan Parsons Live Project, and it was no less thrilling as the first two shows. The band was spot on and tight, with a real sense of fun and camaraderie between the members being displayed. Afterward, it was a delight to visit with the band beyond the normal meet-and-greet opportunity. Alan and crew are very approachable and willing to share their talent and time with fans.

Once again Alan Parsons and the band nail it. We have seen him many times but this was the first with the latest band members. Best show to date. These artists are fabulous. We have had the opportunity to meet with Alan on a few occasions and I must say he is one of the most gracious, humble and friendly musicians period. His wife even recognized us at a show in Vegas from a show in KC the previous year! I can't say enough about how his passion and talent come together on the stage. As long as he continues to tour, we will continue to attend the shows. The only way to improve is to see a live concert with an orchestra behind him but I will enjoy the DVD of the one in Columbia. OMG if only we were there. See you next year. Thank you so much for the memories.

As I expected, Alan has put together a very talented group of musicians that did not disappoint. I've now been to two music shows at Majestic Theatre in Dallas and really like that venue. I think all on stage, expect perhaps the drummer, sang--and sang very well, and they played for about 2 hours, pretty much non-stop.

As usual an incredible show showcasing 6 lead singers and doing the entire Turn of a Friendly Card Suite. Cannot wait to see him again, just not at a casino! My only complaint is that 3 - 4 songs were dropped from the set list, this is why I stay away from casino shows. They are expensive and you get short cheated most of the time on the length of the show. Very unfair to the fans and artists.

My oldest sister Karen turned me onto APP in 1977 with I Robot. I was hooked. I have always picked up the new albums as they were released. I've enjoyed the Alan Parsons Project for most of my life. This was my first opportunity to see them live. The Florida Theater in Jacksonville, a historic room for music lovers, never fails to impress. Alans crew did a great job of setting up the room and it really came through with outstanding sound. Only complaint would be that Alan chose to stand well behind the others and remain in the back of the stage for most of the show. The bass player stood directly between my seat and Alan, so my view was somewhat blocked. We all had a great time which turned into singing and dancing during the last couple songs and the encore. The talent touring with Alan is amazing, each and every one of them were outstanding musicians and great vocalist. A show you shouldn't miss...

I've been listening to Alan Parsons since my teen years in the late 70's. Because of the venue, I knew it was going to have a "cozy" feeling, and it did. The woman next to me may hate me because I was singing (hopefully not too loud) many of his songs. Just the fact I was witnessing their performance, made this event awesome. The "older crowd" was not rowdy and chose to be sitting 99% of the time (nice!) maybe too mellow at some points, :P. Overall, they sounded pretty good and acoustics on the place were also good. I thought they may have been off-key a couple times, and mildly noticeable. Even when most of the original musicians/ talents have been replaced. Had the opportunity to shake hands with Alan Parson himself and saw a nice guy in there. Not a PRIMA-DONNA. The same goes for the keyboard player.

This is the third or fourth time we have enjoyed APP. Once at the Aladdin and three times here at the Railhead. We are extremely blessed to have the APP team come all the way from SoCal to perform for just the 150 of us here in Vegas. Of all their concerts, this is my favorite. In fact, I put this one right up there with the Pink Floyd Tour of '94. Yes it was that great! I actually had tears rolling down my face as I sang along with the songs. I have always found the APP songs to be deeply spiritual in a way. The playlist from this concert focused on the much earlier APP albums. They did a four song set from Turn of a Friendly Card that was incredible. The guitarist (Alastair) really rocked the place with a couple songs. Todd on saxophone added a nice touch to the songs as well. And we always enjoy PJ! The entire group performed well and sounded great. After the concert we sat in the nearby lounge waiting for Alan Parsons himself to show up for a meet and greet. He actually walked by right in front of us just a few feet when he showed up. My wife got her watch signed by Alan again for a second time. We got to talk to Alistair a bit and Todd a lot. Then as we were heading out about midnight we ran into PJ Olsson and my wife and I talked with him for about 10 minutes. All in all a most memorable event and an excellent evening.

Because the APP was painful. Dude climbs up on an altar like he's a priest surrounded by his eight little altar boys. Or maybe Robin Hood with his eight men in tights. Know your audience Alan! This was a mature crowd that can't hang past midnight on a weekday work night. APP did not come onstage until after 9pm and we were out the door around 10:15 during the first set - 5:30 am and a work day was approaching. The musicians are professionals but we ended up leaving having not heard the songs we came to hear. I Robot was reserved for a second set. That said, the billing indicated Carl Palmer and we assumed he was just sitting in with APP. He had a young guitar and bass player with him and that trio ROCKED!!! Best drummer on the planet next to Neil Peart.

ALan Parsons Project was good, but the opening act was awful. The drummer from Emerson, Lake and Palmer, essentially played a solo for more than an hour. Drums, lead guitar and bass - no vocals. I was pretty bored. I think Alan Parson could do better for an opening act. Last time I saw them perform, the opening act was Electric Light Orchestra and they were great. I was disappointed in the concert.

Carl Palmer was the opening act for the concert. He still played the drums very well after all these years. He honored his original band-mates, Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. Unfortunately, he played too short a time. I would have liked the concert more if Carl Palmer had played longer. As an aside, Carl Palmer, after he finished his part of the concert, was very gracious to his fans. From the time that he finished his set until the lobby was ready to close he signed merchandise, took pictures, and talked to his fans. This was, indeed, a great gesture. He did this for over two hours. He really enjoyed being with his fans. The Alan Parsons Project was excellent. The entire band, except the drummer, sang lead vocals. The sound of all these lead singers worked very well. I do miss Colin Blunstone singing lead on some of the songs, the other band members did a very good job substituting for Colin. Another great feature, was that the band played their popular songs for the first part of the concert then played the entire Eye in the Sky album. The band was celebrating the 35th anniversary of the album. I enjoyed the three hours of the concert. If Carl Palmer had more time to play some more of the ELP catalogue of songs it would have been an extraordinary concert.

Carl Palmer's band was amazing with the sounds they were able to create from the string instruments that imitated Emerson's keyboards and Lake's vocals. Very innovative. Especially impactful were their renditions of Trilogy and 21st Century Schizoid Man. Carl Palmer has not lost a beat, is in better shape than any 68 year old I know of and has more energy than my 5 year old grandson. All that being said, with his resources, it would only make sense to audition vocalists to find one whose voice resembles Greg Lakes' and get a keyboard player. He could really make the show a true LEGACY!! Now, the only thing positive about Alan Parsons was that I was surprised how many of their songs were recognizable from the late 70s, early 80s. I did not realize their catalog was so extensive. Their show had it's moments of excellence when they would go into instrumentals, but it was mostly top 40 pop songs that put me to sleep. I would never go see Alan Parsons again, but I would see Carl Palmer at every opportunity!!

The concert opening act was the Carl Palmer s band which was EXCELLENT. Outstanding musicians! They truly blew me away with their performance of Emerson, Lake & Palmer s music presenting an innovative format mostly using no keyboards nor using lead vocals. They performed ELP s music with just drums, bass/stick and guitar. Very impressive, very neat. Very disappointed with the headliner: the Alan Parsons Project: band featured lead singers with serious pitch intonation problems plus a loose rhythm section where the drummer at this show seemed to have consistent problems to keep the beat in tempo affecting the entire band s tightness.

They played the best songs including My favorite, old and wise. If I have to criticize something was the lead voices. And the volume of the drums, too loud and sometimes cover the guitars or voices. In general I really enjoyed it vert much.

Alan Parsons was fantastic! He always gives a great show and we are never disappointed. I have a few quibbles with the set list and wonder how they could exclude Amonia Avenue, Step by Step, and a few other favorites, but it was a terrific show and the audience really loved him. Carl Palmer was a real treat, too, although I wished he'd have had a singer so that some of those songs could have been performed. All in all, a 5 star evening! Thank you!

Great performers, all new. Guitarist was great, just wish I could of heard his voice more clearly. Plenty of harmony, which was great, but again I wish he had been up front, closer to the crowd. he was back by the drums up on a smaller stage. I wanted to hear more solos from him, but I understand how the group must click together to be a great band, with his leader ship. Wish it had been a bit longer, after all bands around here play a 4 hour set, to get your money's worth. (Even Bruce Springstein plays a 4 hour set)

Alan Parsons has put together an incredible tour band, producing remarkable sound similar to the original 70's. What a fantastic show, even moreso in the small venue of River City Ampitheatre St. Louis, Mo. The show started about 10 minutes late, and lasted only an hour and twenty minutes, but delivered what I'd hoped it would.

What an outstanding show this was!! Alan and seven quality musicians, all of which had vocal parts throughout the show, kept the audience engaged for the evening. Being there brought back memories of why I have been appreciating Alan's genius since the early seventies. His creativity has moved me for decades. If you're a Pandora listener do yourself a favor and set up an Alan Parsons radio station.

Have been a fan since the first LP. I always thought of them as a studio band as opposed to a live act. From the first song to the last every song was a good one and not a snoozer in the bunch. I heard every song I'd want to and the musicians were all top notch. The music was tight and the light show entertaining. I was impressed with the venue. Good sightlines as well as sound. The capacity was around 1500 and it looked full. The crowd was into it from the start.

This was the best Alan Parsons concert I've been to! They moved a couple of songs around in the line up which was interesting. They came on stage a couple of minutes late and rocked the show for about 1:45 hours. Very high energy!

An eight-piece band filled a casino venue with the most of the albums "Turn of a Friendly Card" and "I Robot". It is the 40th anniversary of the latter. This music got played a lot in the 80's on my stereo. It combines the crystal clearness of expertly recorded studio music with heartfelt lyrics creating a machine with soul. The live experience brought all that back with several singers taking turns on leads including Parsons. They also kept the volume to a realistic level with those iconic lead guitar parts just above the mix rather than in-your-face loud- We're not teenagers anymore and we don't need high sound levels to enjoy such great music. The band mingled with patient patrons after the show and Alan signed various items for fans. I would see this show again and you should too!

I really enjoyed the concert, as did my wife and cousin that attended as well. I've seen them 3 times now and this was by far the best sound of the three. I was worried that I'd need to use ear plugs, especially with my Tinnitis, but they levels were just right. The music was loud when needed, but not so loud as to distort. Every detail was heard. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that afterwards, Mr. Parsons was autographing items purchased at the concert for no additional charge. He even signed our ticket stubbs. He also said that he plans to release more Blu-ray Pure Audio editions of his albums in the future. What fantastic news. If you haven't heard Tales Of Mystery And Imagination in that format, you really need to do so.
