Ive been listening to rooney since 2005 so gettig to see them was conpletely life changing. The new members were all so nice and they stayed to meet everyone after. Not to mention, we got to hang out with the opening band, Swimming with bears, who were absolutely insane! It such an unforgettable night. To make it even better, I drove to gainesville and saw the show all over again, making this band the ultimate "need to see"! 10/10 would definitely do it again

I missed part of Rooney's performance, but even so I saw all three of the opening bands preform. All three were phenomenal and I got a chance to talk to some of the band members. However the Skybombers stand out in the crowd as being truly incredible. Their infectious sound and awesome band chemistry set them apart. Id watch them because I could easily see them makin it big time.

Tally Hall and Rooney are two of my favorite bands so I was stoked when I found out they were playing in LA. Tally Hall was fantastic and I was able to meet a few band members after they played which was really cool. Rooney sounded amazing live, almost better than the recordings! Great performers! Great music! Awesome night!

The band was great. They seemed to be enjoying themselves and were really fan-friendly. After the show they were all very open to signing autographs, taking photos, and just chatting in general. They had two opening acts. Disco Curtis only had one member present, and he played an acoustic set. It wasn't really the type of music I'm into, but I can't complain. The singer, Tanner, was extremely kind. He even stayed to play some more songs for fans after the show. Jokersdeck was awesome! You can hear their recordings online but it really does them no justice. Their live performance is much, much better and really high energy. Overall a great show and really enjoyable.

I've loved this band for most of my conscious life. They had an incredible energy. You could tell this was from a long time coming. The transitions between the songs were mind boggling. you could tell instantly that these men are artists. i can't wait until they come again.

I've seen Rooney at least 5 times in the past (circa 2003-04) and they were my favorite band in the entire world. I was so excited to see them finally come back to town. So the venue was fantastic, small and intimate. The opening bands were fantastic, same general type of music from all over the place. Rooney, however, was disappointing. I didn't realize that everyone but Robert were different. It made it sound like a completely different band. Robert talked A LOT which killed the vibe a little bit. He kept talking to specific people in the audience about events that happened years ago. Unfortunately, maybe I'm too old now for this kind of stuff but my buzz was killed halfway through them.

The opening bands were amazing and fun. Sadly it was their last show with Rooney. The wait for Rooney to set up and appear was LONG. Kinda low energy for the "home" show of the "welcome home" tour. Still fun and worth the price.

I have been a fan of Rooney since 2003 and have been to approximately 14 shows. I was super stoked when I saw that they were going to have a record release show. I immediately bought my tickets and searched the sites for more information. The show was amazing, the new songs are also amazing. I would recommend this show to any and all new Rooney fans. I was very sad and disappointed that the band had been replaced, with the exception of Robert of course. I do believe he is what makes Rooney... But I liked the vibe and was used to Ned, Taylor, Louie, and Matt. I continue to support the group, but I think my show attendance has come to an end. Wish you all the best.

Ive always loved seeing Rooney, I've seen them 4 times in concert now and they did not disappoint! They were awesome! The Teragram ballroom was all right, parking was expensive and a little shady walking around the area. The warm-up acts were ok too.

I've been a fan of Rooney since their first album but have never gotten the chance to see them until now. I'm so happy I went! I was in the front and it was pretty awesome. They played songs from every album. I had a great time. If you get the chance, you should go!

Rooney lived up to my expectations. I haven't seen them for a few years, but they played a nice mix of old classics and new songs that made the show perfect for a longtime fan like me. Openers Maniac were a pleasant surprise, but Voxhaul Broadcast was a bit underwhelming. Just a personal preference. I would definitely see Rooney again on this tour if I had the cash ;)

I've been a fan of Rooney for years and have been lucky enough to see them at least 4 times in concert, and they never disappoint! Besides being talented artists, they are great live performers and always make sure the crowd is happy. Plus, they choose great bands to open for them. I just saw them at the House of Blues in Anaheim where Maniac and Voxhaul Broadcast opened, and their sets were really awesome too! I just hope they'll start playing more shows too! Overall, another great concert!

I'm a new fan of Rooney. I had heard some of their music on youtube and liked it, but didn't know how the show would be since I didn't know all of the lyrics. It was great! They have a great sound and Robert is an excellent singer with a beautiful voice. The venue wasn't very full, which was great for the audience and not as desirable for the band. I missed the 1st opening act (Voxhaul Broadcast), but really enjoyed the 2nd opening act, Skybomber from Melbourne, Australia. Their music was really enjoyable and well done.

So, I was new to the actual music of Rooney despite being aware of their fanfare. I had a blast and they really put the energy out there for us! The audience size was smaller than expected, but that just meant more room to dance!

Rooney was amazing, I had been wanting to see them for years, although the lead guitarist was super stoic throughout the entire performance, Robert loosey goosey attitude and pink guitar made up for it. The real highlight was the opening bands, Voxhaul Broadcast (get their free Discovery download on iTunes right now) was really exiciting to get the energy up, and Skybombers is a hilarious group of guys from Australia that have awesome Rock music, and are now one of my favorite new bands, there songs were super catchy and relatable, and they have adorable accents. Didn't get to catch Rooney afterwards, but a few guys from the lead singer from VB and lead singer and guitarist from Skybombers were out front afterwards to sign and sell stuff.

The band was superb. They did not have the volume cracked to ear drum shattering levels like the opening acts did. They also kept a clear relationship between the audience and them, as they reached out often to touch the girls standing in front of us.

Rooney put on an awesome, rocking show! I have been a Rooney fan since their first album and I am always impressed when i see them live. i had never heard Eisley before but I felt their songs all sounded the same. Jessi Teich had a great voice and also put on a great show! As for the venue, The TLA is one of my favorite places to see a concert. I was able to get a different view of the stage this time around by standing in the bar area to the left of the stage. What a great view! Overall a great show! hope to be back to the TLA soon!

I was actually surprised to see how small their audience was because they've been around for awhile and are still heard over the radio and Internet. I thought overall, they played an excellent show starting with their classic hit, "Blueside" and ending with an awesome encore performance. All of the members in the band were full of energy, had amazing chemistry, and overall put on a great show. It was great hearing a lot of songs off of their first album again, but I was excited to hear brand new tracks off their recent album "Eureka." I loved their solos from each individual member during some of the songs. I can't wait until they come back to Philly and having another slice of Larenzos Pizza with them afterwords again! Yes, I was lucky enough to meet them afterwords and I'm still in shock about that. They were so sweet!

Rooney played the altar bar in pgh, pa... finally a headling show after opening for hanson last august. Lead singer Robert Schwartzman was full of energy and was playing off the crowd . Which i loved. it all worked well. Singing along, and just have lots of fun dancing, and watching the boy of Rooney work the stage for us... The sound get better was the night went on. The opeing acts dissapointed me but.. it all payed off by the end of the night. It was also a pleasure to meet Robert Schwartzman after the show :) .. I'm hoping they return and i'll be back for sure. Loved the new record EURKA which i bought that night at the show.

Rooney was excellent, as always. They really know how to rock! The Altar Bar isn't my favorite venue, and at this particular event, I don't think they were prepared for the amount of people who wanted to stand on the under 21 side. And the opening acts lasted forever!

I had never been to see Rooney before, and I didn't know what to expect. The Intersection in Grand Rapids isn't a large venue, so I didn't think it would be that crazy. It wasn't too packed, which gave me mixed feelings. A) I was happy about it because I don't like feeling I'm in a pack of sardines. B) I was a little unhappy about it because I feel like everyone in Grand Rapids should be in on how amazing Rooney is. They have been my favorite band since 2003, they are still really amazing. They played a mix of songs from all of their albums, and that made me really happy because I was a little bummed that I missed out on past concerts... but they quickly remedied that for me. The crowd was hype and very into all of the songs. Robert has a really great stage presence and I was so happy to get this show crossed of my to-do-before-I-die list. I met several girls there and now we are good friends. After the show, we waited in the very cold Michigan weather with the hopes that the band will come outside. It was only me and the group of girls waiting, but I don't know what it was like inside. If you weren't buying merch, you had to get out. Eventually Robert came outside. He was nice, and sweet, and seemed pleased to have a new face in the crowd. He was seemed nice enough to take a picture with me, which I was excited about but try not to show I was too geeked. I would have loved to chat longer with him, but it was really, really cold outside so we all said our goodbyes and departed. It was the best night of my life so far... More Rooney shows to come! I hope he remembers me. :D

Rooney...what can I say about the gig? a) it was a lot of fun b) the guys in the band are just like everyone else (albeit, in a world famous band) c) the songs flowed together to form a great set list, and they pretty much nailed the tonality of it all d) from the little interaction had after the show at the after partying, the boys seem like they could get along just fine whether in L.A. or Monaco. good show, great time, just be careful to steer clear of all the chaperons!!

The only thing that kept this show from receiving five stars was the middle band. The two bands on the original bill were Disco Curtis and Rooney. They added a middle band called Jokersdeck, which wasn't terribly impressive. Disco Curtis only played about 6 songs (acoustic set) and failed to get to their single "Ashley" due to time constraints. Because the show was billed for DC and Rooney, any other band should have opened for them, giving those two the longer and longest set. Though the middle band wasn't terrible, they were the least strong of the three and should not have been attempting ANY Rage Against the Machine covers. (Especially not the one that requires you to sing "the eff word") All in all a great show. I'd love to see DC and Rooney play again.

Best show ever... the impromptu sing-a-long due to the PA system failing was the most beautiful thing i've ever been a part of. It was my first time seeing them though I've been a fan since their debut album came out. I missed the 1st the opener but The Young Veins was really good as well. I hadn't realized that 2 members from Panic! were in the band so that was a pleasant surprise. All in all a great show! The venue on the other hand was a little disappointing. I went to The School of Rock South Hackensack show and for being part of the School of Rock i expected a better area. The room where the show was put on was sweltering hot. it's good there wasn't too many people there otherwise i'm sure people would have passed out that's how hot it was. They were however giving out free waters to people in the pit so that was cool. Still not going back there for a show.

I was there with my son to see The Young Veins. It was GREAT. Got to meet Nick the Keyboardist walking past a Pizza Place where we were eating. Worst Pizza Great experience. The venue was too Hot!!! No fans Blowing and no upper level airconditoning by the feel of things. We didnt stay for Rooney as did not others. We can't wait for Young Veins to return but hope they are at another Venue. Maybe Electric Factory or somewhere in Delaware at an under 21 location. Going to try and get them for a school concert.

My daughters and theiur friends had the time of their lives last night. These were amazing, young, talented, energetic, committed bands who gave star quality performances. The crowd was small and intimiate - and you would have thought they were playing to a crowd of 10,000 people.

As always Rooney does not disappoint, but this time their openers are who caught my eye. If you are undecided as to whether to go, go. Rooney's set was great, I loved it. BlackGold, who are the first band to come out, get the crowd pumped and moving, then The Young Veins come out and dazzle with spectacular 60's rock sounds, the perfect intro to Rooney's 70's leaning new tracks. My only downside was that they barely sang any of those new tracks, the crowd didn't seem to know any of the new stuff.

Even though I mostly went for The Young Veins, who did really well (their "Security" cover has to be youtubed to be believed), I really fell in love with Rooney, deeply. Now I want to go see them again, because even though theirs isn't a show based on theatrics, they have amazing music that's really fun to wiggle around to. I was looking for something fun to do in housston while home from college and found out about the concert on accident. I listened to their music years ago so I wanted to see them live. They come out at around 11 even though it said the show started at 630 (they didn't start letting people in until 730). Also, the fanbase is pretty young. Lots of moms and dads were there to chaperone Still, they were great as were the opening acts. And I picked up Wild One - they're new CD - and had it autographed by all 5 members of the band. Thanks guys!
