San Cisco

SAN CISCO IN CONCERT:San Cisco has been taking the Australian indie rock scene by storm thanks to their hook-filled tunes and  on-point musicianship. The band gets fans fired up during their lively sets and creates upbeat, dance-worthy music as frontman Jordi Davieson croons alongside their singing drummer Scarlett Stevens. San Cisco perform fun tracks like "Fred Astaire" and "Awkward" with an energy that can't be matched, and they always keep ticket buyers singing along to their hook-filled jams on their must-see tours. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Hailing from Down Under, San Cisco was formed in 2009 by high school friends Jordi Davieson (vocals) and Scarlett Stevens (drums).

San cisco put on an AMAZING SHOW. Great, danceable songs from all their albums (including fan favs) plus, Jordi and Scarlett were nice enough to meet fans and sign stuff after the show!!!! Crowd was boring though, and that def affected the show

They were awesome, opener band was good! Only complaint is that there are no food options and you can't leave once you're in the venue.

We came to see San Cisco, and had been awaiting this event for over a month. We were aware that there would be an opening band, but in our experience with other concerts, openers are usually of the same genre as the main artist and also usually don't go on for very long. Mothxr, on the other hand, was terrible. Their style was completely different than San Cisco, and they went on for way longer than the appropriate time. Compared to San Cisco, they were awful. The music was too loud, the lyrics were unintelligible, and the mic kept squeaking but the lead singer seemed too into himself to notice. Despite very clearly indifferent reactions from the audience, Mothxr kept on going and there was no sighting of San Cisco, the reason we paid Bowery Ballroom $20 each, until 10:15. We expected the concert to start at 9, and for the opening act to not go for more than half an hour. Despite all of this, San Cisco was amazing. We sincerely hope that the Bowery Ballroom will continue to support San Cisco as their career unfolds.

The griswolds were co-headliners and they clearly stole the show.

This was my first time seeing San Cisco, and they were great, but the real standout of the night was the second opener, Smallpools. I had never come across them before, and they've only released an EP, but if you get the chance to see them, it's totally worth it.

These bands were well matched. Each had a unique style, and kept the audience rocking and wanting more. They were really friendly and fun after the show, graciously signing autographs and posing for pix with fans. The sound was excellent at the venue, it was well organized, and started on time. An all around great experience!

Loved seeing this up and coming Aussie band! Saw some girls in the crowd singing along and was really surprised they knew ALL of the words! So many fans and the band kept up high energy the whole way through the set. They also stayed for ages after an ENCORE to sign fan posters, take pictures and chat with their fans. I really loved seeing how genuine and sweet the band is. Great new sound and was so happy I finally got to see this band LIVE!!!
