Pierce The Veil

Pierce The Veil

Growing out of the San Diego, California punk scene, Pierce the Veil was founded by brothers Mike and Vic Fuentes in 2007 after the demise of their previous band and furthered praise for their emo post-hardcore sound. After signing with Fearless Records in 2011, their third album Collide with the Sky was released in July 2012, peaking at No. 12 on the U.S.

I went to the show to see Pierce The Veil not knowing about I Prevail and Neck Deep, and I left wanting to listen to them. Pierce The Veil was remarkable as I expected, though beyond how good I imagined. I was blown away by the whole performance and definitely want to see it again and again. A friend of mine got pulled on stage and Vic sang Bulletproof Love to her, so I'm sure her experience was a trillion times better than mine, but the show was remarkable.

I would recommend going to a show at Culture Room. These bands were amazing! The only issue I had, was the amount of people there under 18. It was like a middle school field trip. I also wish Woe, Is Me had some more playing time, but AWESOME show none the less!

I saw them along with several others on This Is A Family Tour. Out of all five bands, they amazed me. They sounded great live and knew how to get the crowd pumped. I love Vic's voice and Jaime kept the energy alive all night, which was hard, seeing as they were the third set, everyone was pretty tired. They were amazing and afterwards the friend I went with -who is a huge Attack Attack fan and claimed no one could be better than them- agreed with me the Pierce the Veil was the BEST band that played that night. I'd definitely recommend going to see them! I'll probably go again, they're just that fantastic.

PTV and SWS. IN CONCERT. TOGETHER. This was definitely a concert to remember. Even though I LOVE This Wild Life, their acoustic vibes were soothing and made it difficult for me to get my energy up for Beartooth and of course SWS and PTV. Besides that, this was a great show. I attended with my two friends and boyfriend and we absolutely loved this show.

I thought this concert was amazing! the venue was perfect for this event. The opening act You ME At Six were great! They are so much better live. Mayday Parade definitely pumped it up. All Time Low kept the crowd up and going, they sounded terrific. Finally and definitely worth the wait and the reason I went to this incredible show, Pierce The Veil..how do I begin by describing the energy of their performance is like no other. They give it their absolute ALL! Their stage presence is unlike any others and they make sure to put on a show worth more than what you paid for. They are incredible performers. Their stage background was so weird yet so unique. They sing perfectly clear and make sure you're enjoying yourself. They jump around and make sure you're having the time of your life. Best show I've seen thus so far in 2013. A definitely must see band.

The lineup for this show was Issues, letlive., Memphis May Fire, and Pierce The Veil! For Issues, the moshpit was small, but crazy. It really sucked to take pictures because everyone was pushing and everything and ugh. They played a great show regardless. They played a new song, Hooligans, which was really good and everyone was going crazy during that song I was checking out merch during letlive., so I didn't watch much, but Jason was INSANE and he did a backflip off of one of the walls, which was awesome :D The whole set was awesome, you should check them out! Memphis May Fire played an AMAZING set, even though I saw a person who busted their lip and someone passed out :\\ they made the crowd go nuts before PTV! The whole band was awesome and put on a great show, I'll try to check them out again at Warped this summer! When Pierce The Veil came out, the crowd (and myself) went nuts! The crowd was so loud, it was sometimes hard to hear Vic, they were that crazy! Before they played Bulls In The Bronx, Vic asked how many people could say that music saved their lives, and some many hands went up, it was amazing :') Vic came back on after Bulls In The Bronx and played I'm Low On Gas acoustic, and when he got to the interlude (I think is what it is, before the last chorus), he stopped singing and we all kept going and his reaction was adorable and aw c: After the song was over, they came out and played King For A Day, which was awesome! My friend and I both waited behind the venue until about 1:15 to find out they weren't coming out, but we still met Tyler Carter, Michael Bohn, Case Snedecor, and Skyler Acord from Issues along with Jason Butler from letlive.! We almost met Levi Benton (he came out during Caraphernelia), Matty Mullins, and Scout (Tyler Acord from Issues), but either way, it was great! I'll definitely go see all of those bands again!

It says something about a performance when you will wait in line for two hours with the sun beating down on your neck and head in humid St. Pete Florida while on a vacation with your family, to go inside and have it be even hotter only with more people and bugs, and still call this tour one of the best concerts you have been to. All bands were very clear with their sound and all had great showmanship no matter how small or big. Both headliners were great (although ptv should have gone before Atl) I most deffinetly would and AM going to see this tour again in Lowell just a bit closer to home. I would recommend this tour to ANYONE because of it's wide variety of talent and fans. (WARNING: you will be shoved and probably see a few people without clothes but that's just the nature of an all time low concert)

I really enjoyed the concert and the fact it was my first concert made it an even better thing. The first four bands were eh, but as soon as PVT appeared that all changed! Not to mention that I was able to get three of their picks! The moment Vic through himself on the crowd to be carried to the stage all the girls and guys were all over him, I was only able to touch his smooth silky hair and that was more than enough :)

I really loved this tour. I am a long time time Sum 41 fan, they were exactly what I had expected and have seen from them. Both bands really brought the energy and are very talented musicians. PTV gave an awesome performance! It was an unforgettable experience! They interacted with the fans and gave it all they got! I loved their visual and light effects. My daughter and I had been looking forward to having them come down to the Valley and as soon as we heard they were coming, we jumped and bought our tickets. Just to be there in person with PTV was incredible! Their music is totally awesome and rocks! I was thrilled when they announced in the middle of their performance that they were celebrating 10 years as a band. This was my daughter's and I first concert and we are so glad our first concert was to see Pierce the Veil. We haven't stopped listening to their music. I told my coworkers what an awesome band they are. We hope they come visit the Valley again! Thanks! Blessings! and Until Then!

First up was I Prevail. From an old punk/heavy metal guy they where ok, the daughter and friend loved them. After them was Neck Deep I actually enjoyed them kind of reminded me of the old days, daughter of course didn't like them. Third band sucked so much known of us remember their names. They tried to mix new punk with a calli style? It didn't work. Last band Peirce the Veil, fan girls went crazy, light show was decent, only gripe? They waited till the end to play their highest energy songs, back in the day the bands would play high energy through the whole set so you could work out your anger/aggression at the show.

The concert was amazing. Perfect songs, great bands. Only one problem. THE VENUE WAS TOO SMALL FOR THE HEADLINER. Pierce the Veil is ridiculously popular, able to sell out amphitheatres. The masquerade is way too small, causing me personally to get pushed, shoved, nearly pushed to the floor, and stepped on. I waited for hours outside and ended up going to the back anyways. Other than the whole "too many people for the venue" thing, it was an amazing show.

Whole show was amazingly loud, which I love in a concert. Great sense of being a family in the whole crowd. The openings acts were great, and pierce the veil really closed the whole show off perfectly. Played all the songs everyone wanted to hear, stopped several times to allow the crowd to sing instead, and had tons of confetti and smoke to make the show look more awesome. Over all, very glad I went and would definitely do it again.

I was the designated parent to 3 teens. I loved PVRIS and loved, loved Mallory Knox the opening bands. I would pay just to see them again. The kids said it was the best show ever. This was their first general admission show, first body surfing and first "circle" which I will call the polite way to mosh.It bothered me that Kellen? looked down the entire show. I don't think I saw his face once and since all I keep hearing about is how beautiful he is, I would have liked to get a look. His moves on stage were great. PTV were amazing at singing, jumping, flipping, and playing all at the same time. They were polished, professional, but super fun and really gave an "all in" performance.

It was Awesome! The only problem we had was that the people were pushing and shoving in so tight in front of the stage that we had to stand by the bar but we could see the show better from there anyway. And it wasn't because there was no room it was BC the people were trying to get closer if they would have spread out there would have been plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the show. The staff was very friendly and would definitely go back to see another concert.

I've been a fan of pierce the veil for a while now but unfortunately i wasn't able to go to house party tour last year so let's just say I has unrealistically high expectations for this concert. Surprisingly this concert was everything I thought it would be and more. The openers were amazing (seriously if you've never herd of Mallory Knox or Pvris you have to check them out!). sleeping with sirens was incredible and they were so full of energy! You could just tel the second night was better than the first. When pierce the veil came on I'm ashamed to say I lost my shit and the tears did make an appearance which I NEVER do but hey I was super close and these are my idols here. So overall the concert was probably one of the best I've been to in a while! Everyone was so nice (except for a few guys who were trying to start a mosh pit INBETWEEN sets??) seriously one of the best nights of my entire life!! (*sad story: I'm low on gas is my favorite song ever so I figured I'd get a video of it for when post concert depression sets in so I took this great video and it was in such good focus and I got the whole thing but after the concert I realized I took one photo :( so I was holding my arm in the air for like 3 minutes and didn't even get it plus I feel like I didn't even get to enjoy the song bc I was so concerned about the video! Moral of the story is that when your at concerts, videos are a great thing to have for afterwards but it kinda ruins the experience if your just watching through your phone screen the whole time! So actually watch the concert and I guarantee you'll enjoy that more than watching it on a screen the next day!!:)

Overall, good concert. I'm short, so it sucks when people try to get closer and stop right in front of you. So I couldn't see most of the time. But the big screens they have helped a lot. Also, I saw a lot of parents there with kids under 10....... These bands are constantly using vulgar language and phrases, definitely not a place to bring a kid. There should be an age limit!!!

First big concert for the band from San Diego, CA. I love Pierce The Veil, since 5 years ago, yeah not that much time, but I've been to two shows before this one, and they were in small venues. But now, seeing them in a big venue, it was marvelous. They played for a whole straight hour, they played their hits and my favorite song, Props & Mayhem. I wish I could see them again in this tour, cause it was amazing!

This concert was the most amazing experience of my life. This Wild Life and Beartooth did a great job opening up the show and getting the crowd going. Sws did an amazing job, I was screaming my lungs out. AND JACK LITERALLY WALKED PAST ME CAUSE i was on the balcony and he was with a crew member getting something . omg. But when PTV came out I cried and freaked out. Their setlist was great, I wished they would've performed some other songs too, not just the ones that everyone knows the best, like Props & Mayhem or Southern Constellations/ The Boy Who Could Fly. I think I should've bought a general admission ticket instead of a loge ticket cause the crowd looked like they were really enjoying themselves. By the end of the night I was pooped and things just felt so surreal. I wanna go see them in In February again when they come to New York City.

Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens on The World Tour was one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my entire life. Seeing my heroes only a few feet away from me was crazy. They played old and new songs and all of my favorites. If you have the chance to see them on the world tour definitely go. You will not regret it.

This was the first concert I went to that was at such a small venue, and it was fantastic. The opening bands were a lot of fun, and Pierce the Veil's show was amazing, as expected. We had one issue with a family of four that decided to come, that wanted a whole area to themselves. The dad was pushing other people in order to make space for his wife and daughter, and the wife was pushing people away from the barrier. The son also pushed a lot of people in order for them to keep their spot. However, my friend and I eventually got past them and got to join the pit, where people were moshing. It was my first time moshing, and the people were so kind and friendly. Overall an amazing time.

I've seen these guys 4 times now and they never fail to disappoint. They always bring something new to the experience. Not to mention how much they try to engage the crowd. They scream, sing, play instruments perfectly, and laugh with us a whole lot. They're absolutely amazing. And if you happen to wait around after the show long enough, you just might meet them! After about an hour and a half, Vic came out and met everyone. He let us take pictures, get signatures, hugs, and even wrote a few lyrics for me so I could get them tattooed. He's amazing, the band as a whole is amazing, and you should totally see them.

This was a really great show for me because I'm a fan of all three bands. I had seen Pierce The Veil a couple of times before, but never got a chance to see Movements and I The Mighty. The show was Sold Out, so there were a lot of people ready for Movements when they started the show, which was cool. They played around 6 songs and connected well with the fresh crowd. Movements are post-hardcore/emo/punk/melodic similar to a band like Rarity. Very good live and the vocalist is very powerful. Well worth making the effort to see them live. I The Mighty were next and they also did very well connecting with the hot crowd. I The Mighty are post-hardcore/alt rock in the similar vein of Hands Like Houses. Well worth seeing live for sure! Then it was time for Pierce The Veil! They are absolute rock stars! It was pretty gutsy to play the entire Misadventures album like 4 weeks after it came out (and it's their 4th album), but they more than pulled it off and their risk paid off because almost everyone in the crowd knew every word to every song. They're obviously extremely talented and the guitar-driven breakdowns really translate well live. After Misadventures they came back out and did two more of their most popular songs. I would definitely recommend this show and if you want to hear more about this show or others, I have a podcast called Ian Hates Music that you can find on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play Music, and any of your other favorite podcast listening apps!

Wow! the band was great. Amazing energy. The only negative was that I had several hundred dollars to spend on merchandise and couldn't get to the table...because there was only ONE GUY manning the table...they missed out on a HUGE $$$ windfall....feel bad for them. Would definitly see them again. And the House of Blues is a great venue!

And that is certainly what it was. I came in to this show with baseline expectations; I hadn't heard much of Sleeping with SIrens or Pierce the Veil, and had gotten the tickets for my girlfriend for her birthday. So when the first band came on, Mallory Knox, I was pleasantly surprised; not knowing much about the band, watching their musicianship and caring for the fans was nice to see. Further, the second opener of Pvris definitely made a fan of me. Then, the main acts came along, with Sleeping with Sirens beginning. They play amazingly, given the genre isn't normally one I care for, I'd say that goes far for the sake of compliments. The lead singer came down and shook my girlfriend's hand later, so to me they were very friendly, talented, and wonderful to watch overall. Pierce the Veil came next, and I had ulterior plans to their being on. From the opening, I was impressed with their stage presence, and listening to the lyrics for the first time struck me now and again; they do very well. Once they came to "Hold On Til May", I had previously planned to give my girlfriend a ring during the concert. I'm very happy to say that this went perfectly as planned, and they played it so clearly as to make the memory just as perfect to hold onto. The rest of the night went beautifully, and the collaboration ending for King for a Day was both energetic and loud, proactive and passionate; just as you might expect of the bands. Overall, I'd give this show a 5/5, and would highly recommend it to anyone on the fence about whether the show might be worth going to.

I normally don't leave reviews, but this concert was so good I feel I must! I'm a 40-something that has fallen love with small indie bands thanks to my daughter who loves the music. All 4 bands in this tour were amazing, and bands I would go see again. Pvris was fantastic, Mallory Knox is one I definitely want to learn more about and get their albums, and Sleeping with Sirens was great. I loved that Kellin talks to the crowd. I read that he often does this and he didn't disappoint! Then came Pierce the Veil\u2026 I have loved going to concerts my entire life, and I am placing Pierce the Veil's live show on the same level as Linkin Park (my #1 favorite band) as far as show quality and sound. I never thought I'd say that about a band other than Linkin Park. PTV was AWESOME. They had so much energy, sounded amazing (I'm very picky about sound), and just put on a fantastic show. Because SWS and PTV were co-headlining, PTV only played 10-11 songs, but I can't wait to see them headline a tour again so I can hear more. They were great and I know for a fact I will see them every time they are in Dallas. It was that good. If you're on the fence about attending a PTV concert, do yourself a favor and just go. You won't be disappointed!

The atmosphere was lively with anticipation before the bands came out and the moment they stepped out, the fan reaction was overwhelming. I have never been to a concert where every single member of the audience knew every song and sang along. The showmanship of the bands were very good as well and kept the audience very well engaged especially Pierce the Veil. Absolutely wonderful.
