Great show flawless performance , Daniel Ash kicks ass , a queen on base , and Kevin on the drums is killing it , over all amazing show love it want see it again , a must see for all Daniel Ash, love and rockets, Bauhaus, tones on tail fans.

Wow, nice job. True professionals who changed the path of music like this are always amazing to experience.

Great set list, songs I never thought I would hear live.

Venue was great, drink prices were reasonable. Concert was fantastic, Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins are old favorites. The crowd was very animated and it was over all a great time!

Cannot say enough about this show. It was amazing. Heavily Tones on Tail, but it didn't matter. Daniel Ash was as cool as ever. Kevin Haskins plays beats no one has ever played. And Diva, OMG, gorgeous and talented beyond measure. Few can play bass as well as she can.

Daniel Ash is a legend! Kevin Haskins still looks like a baby faced model! And his daughter owned the bass almost better than her uncle, David J. I only wish more people were fans of their incredible and significant discography.

This is the second year in a row that I've caught the Poptone tour, and it was even better than last year's show which says a lot since last year was AWESOME. Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins, and Diva Dompe have put together an amazing setlist to include a ton of Love and Rockets songs, Tones on Tail, and even a bit of Bauhaus. Kevin Haskins also has a new book about his time in Bauhaus and has been graciously signing copies after the show. If you haven't seen Poptone, grab a ticket and be prepared to go back in time. It's an excellent experience!

The concept of Poptone was a vehicle for Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins to play Tones on Tail material in a live setting. Having only produced one album, and having broken up shortly thereafter (in the early 1980's), many people never got a chance to see Tones on Tail in a live setting, as they only did one brief UK tour, and a US tour that only played small East Coast venues. Ash and Haskins would go on to find greater success with Love & Rockets, alongside bassist David J, all three of whom were previously in the band Bauhaus together (prior to Ash and Haskins forming Tones on Tail.) This was Poptone's second tour in as many years, and sadly, it was lacking spark. Bassist Diva Dompe (daughter of drummer Kevin Haskins) had her volume turned far too low, and missed some of her vocal cues. Ash as well missed a few cues, with Haskins being the most standout member of the ensemble. There were far too many Love & Rockets songs and far too few Tones on Tail songs to really qualify as a Tones on Tail tour, and at least two of the ToT songs didn't really work in a live setting. Perhaps last years' inaugural tour was the way to go with this 'new' group, but I would think the kinks would have been more worked out, not less. However, despite that, if you're a fan of Love & Rockets and/or Tones on Tail, it's a good trip down nostalgia lane.

The whole evening was fantastic. The venue was small, the sound amazing and the band unforgettable. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been to! I especially loved the variety of the music from Bauhaus to Love and Rockets to Tones on Tail, it all sounded great. Don't miss this show!

Was looking forward to the second time around but was left with a underwhelming feeling!!!

I had to go because I knew that I would never see that again. I really never thought that I would hear Tones on Tail live ever. Well I did and it was amazing. The sound was great and they were spot on. Kevin Haskins daughter was phenomenal on bass and I was a little worried about that but she nailed it. There were lots of Love and Rockets songs and lots of Tones on Tail and I was waiting for Slice of Life by Bauhaus because I looove that song. My suggestion to everyone is to clap your head off and hoot and holler when they walk off stage because that Bauhaus didn t come until the 2nd encore. It was amazing and I m so glad I went.

Nice to see these guys live again! I am so glad they played Atlanta and the new Masquerade was very nice. I think the sound at the beginning was a bit muddled, but as the show went on everything seemed to improve dramatically.

Once in a lifetime experience!! If you are a fan of bauhaus, love and rockets, or tones on tail, don t miss this show!!! They may never tour again. And they were amazing!! Ash is on his game. Haskins was incredible! And Diva carried the Haskins gene well!!! Again, if you are a fan, DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!!!

Poptone was excellent! These three fit perfectly together as professional musicians.

Listen, if you loved Love and Rockets and /or tones on tales this is a must see, I ve been waiting 20 years for this chance and it was everything I hoped

Okay - if I didn't know that Daniel Ash was the frontman of this group - I would have walked away amazed. The band was great - sound was great - etc. But knowing that Daniel Ash was right in from of me and did not play any of the mega hits from Love and Rockets was a total let down. No Ball of Confusion, no No New Tale To Tell, no Alive. Saying that - the rest of the show was great. I would have given them 5 stars if they even just played one of those mega hits. I was so disappointed I didn't even buy a concert t-shirt (this is the first show in decades I didn't buy a shirt and I go to a lot). I know that bands want to move on and grow in some fashion but come on - Love and Rockets is nothing to shy away from.

Tones on Tail were my favorite incarnation of the Bauhaus/Tones/ Love and Rockets members - Poptone are guitarist/songwriter/singer Daniel Ash, drummer Kevin Haskins and brilliant young bass player Diva Dompe. Taking the stage under blacklight with "Heartbreak Hotel," they played flawlessly for 90 minutes including mostly Tones songs, a few Love and Rockets, Bowie's "Cracked Actor," and Bauhaus's "Slice of Life." Exceeded my expectations, especially for a crowd of possibly less than 125.

If you have the opportunity to catch this show, don't miss it!
