If you closed your eyes you would have thought you were actually at an allmans concert. High energy, engaging, and authentic. Would go again tomorrow.

It was just like listening to the Live at the Fillmore album with headphones, cause they are stunningly accurate to the original sound. But they are more. The music feels fresh and vibrant, their vibe cool and joyous, the band communicative and cohesive. The lead guitars screaming in unison, the duel drum sets pounding like your heart, the harmonica ripping through your soul. The keyboardist sounds raspy like Greg and finesses the keys with passion and authority. The lead guitarist looks a little like Dicky Betts and plays just as effortlessly. The lead singer looks like old man time, but plays like Johnny Winter. Genius, provocative, breathtaking, real musicians. Decided last night new dying wish would be to hear this band just one more time live. My 21 year old son said to me 'bout ten minutes in, "What is this sorcery?" BEST CONCERT I EVER ATTENDED, HANDS DOWN I saw the Allman Brothers Band 20 years ago. These fellows smoked them.

Love going to see this band. They stay true to the original Allman Bros. sound. The lead guitar player is amazingly spot on. If you are an Allman Bros fan, you will appreciate this band.

The musicians were talented and their spirit was high. The one major shortcomings was the vocals. The primary singer was fair enough but the keyboardist couldn't carry a tune much less pay "tribute" to ABB. Same for the mouth harp player. It almost seemed like they flipped a coin to see who would sing a song. Their vocal renditions of "I'm No Angel" and "Hootchie Cootchie Man" were disappointing. If this band found a vocalist with as much talent as the instrument players, they would be a bona fide outfit. That being said, anyone who would get up at Variety and churn it out gets an A for effort. There's nothing like live music.

I never go see cover bands but I made an exception since the Allman Brothers are among my favorite bands ever. Boy am I glad I made the exception. There sets were as close to being at the recording of the Live at the Filmore East records. So glad I went!!!

Live At the Fillmore were really good. I went with a bunch of friends to the show (all huge Allman Brothers fans) and this band was probably the best Allman Brothers tribute band I have ever seen. The venue was great and I would highly recommend seeing them. I hope they come back to RVA again many times. I will be sure to see them again. Only negative is although the drummers were great they should also use a set of bongos for authenticity.
