I love this venue. Puts you so close to the band and prices are very reasonable. Cradle Of Filth is one of my all time favorites and they put on a hell of a show!

Another incredible performance by Dani and crew. Their tour bus broke down and by the time they arrived there was no time for sound check. Technical difficulties and other hurdles couldn't stop C.O.F. from playing a great setlist that spanned 25 years. I've been a fan for 20 years and was once again totally blown away by the quality of their live show. Hope to see them again soon!

I took my boyfriend to this show, he s never been to a metal concert before much less an act like Cradle. I ve been a Cradle fan since I was 15 years old, so I was already psyched. Opening band The Uncured wasn t really jaw dropping. I wasn t terribly impressed, but they did have a decent banter with the crowd. Next up was Jinjer from the Ukraine. I had never heard Jinjer before and was completely blown away. Music was solid mix of metal, djent and hardcore and front woman, Tatiana, really drew me in. Her voice was phenomenal and stage presence was a style all her own. Cradle of Filth put on a fantastic show. Guitarist Richard Shaw stole the show, in my opinion. Watching him have fun and just be silly really allowed the audience to enjoy it along with him. Lindsay Schoolcraft has such a great voice, I can still here it playing in my head. My boyfriend didn t fare too well during the show. The standing for several hours and constant loud music on top of Dani Filth s banshee scream, he wasn t all too pleased. Music aside, these acts are artists that I could watch on mute.
Turisas was awesome! They should of played longer. Crowd sucked. 2 other bands sucked. Didn't stay for Cradle of Filth because they suck. Turisas was 5 stars even though only a few people were rocking out to them. The rest of the show was zero stars.

I have never gotten to see Cradle in person, so I was quite excited to go to this show... I'm not sure if it was the sound at the venue, or just that the band was not feeling up to awesomeness that night, but I was disappointed. I have seen live footage and listened to Cradle's music for years, and I suppose I just expected too much... THANK THE GODS FOR TURISTAS!!! They were AMAZING!!! Before their first song was over I had bought two copies of their album "The Varangian Way." I will drop whatever I'm doing to see Turisas whenever they come around again.

I have been listening to Cradle of FIlth for almost a decade now. I've never had the free time the few times over the years to go see them. I finally did and I will say amazing night. Venue was perfect for any band in my opinion. Cradle was amazing they had a great mosh pit going got to crowd surf a few times, Cradle has reached what seems to be there peak but they do that with every new album. I hope they come back soon.

The show start time clearly stated 8:00. CLEARLY!!! They started the concert a half hour early. I don't know who to blame for this, either the bands did it, or the venue did it, dont know. But many people came to this concert to see the Finnish up-and-coming band Turisas, they even flew in from other parts of the country. The line up was also messed up, they stated Turisas would play second, they played first. I can deal with the misScheduling, whatever. To add insult to injury, we were 10 feet from the stage and my wife, friends, and i could clearely hear eachother (grant it, with some vocal effort) but the sound engineer or whom ever is responsible for the volume clearly Forked up. It was so soft, the sound check guy didn't seem to match vocals, the back-up vocalists was nearly deafening (which is good in a way) while the main vocals are hardly audible. I was very disappointed in the overall quality of the Ballroom this time. I have been there dozens of times, and never did i have such a crappy time. The Bands did phenominal, i was very happy that i made it there early, i would have been super upset if i didn't see Turisas. The Security personal are always the best. They treat us like paying clients, i feel very safe there.

Cradle of Filth was Truly Amazing playing Mostly old music. Going to see my favorite band on my 21st birthday i was excited but a little iffy seeing as dani's voice has faded. But they proved me wrong busting out with the first two songs off Dusk and Her Embrace and pulling it off amazingly! hands down best concert ever!

Every great metal band has great guitar riffs. COF not only have that, they also have extreme theatrics that would make the Vatican crumble and Wagner rise from the dead, only to be put back in the grave. Cradle-style. They recognize that they play in a different LA venue every tour cycle. So the more difficult it is to fill a room (Club Nokia in downtown LA on a tuesday night next to a Justin Beiber event), the more diehard the fans are. And the more COF deliver. They did their hits, each receiving the appropriate emotional response. They did their classic pulverizing numbers to show they still care. For a guitarist Paul Allender who writes such awesome riffs, they didn't play many of the songs that spawned them. I guess darkness and blast beats wins over guitar domination. Dani has so much personality, it's very hard to not fall in love with COF. Even if you don't like "black metal." First you'll laugh, then you'll rock out. Embracing the wickedness like the best Halloween of all time.

I consider the venue a "mere" local joint to host a band of their caliber, power, and notoriety. The stage is small for their show to really sprout leather wings, and the sound system was inconsistent, and at times, unbalanced. The attendance was fair, but this headliner needs, and deserves, to be back at the top; When I saw them at the Fillmore and the Warfield, the crowd was 10X the size, the stage show was alive, the acoustical onslaught was well balanced in its piercing ferocity. That said, ANY venue putting on these heavy-hitters will get my recommendation! Cradle made that venue look good despite all the issues. They were tight, together, and absolutely "ON" in every way.

First COF concert and 6th concert I have gone to. I was supposed to see Linkin Park, but this event was much less expensive, so my parents took me here instead. The concert was amazing! Dani dedicated Nymphetamine to us "senoritas", threw Bud Light at us, enough that some fell on my glasses (which i haven't washed off yet :D), and in the end, the path to the front opened up and I got close enough to reach through the barricade and it was there that Dani looked at me with his filthy white eyes! HE'S AMAZING as is everyone from COF! I loved the show! Though I forgot some of the lyrics and they didn't play a few tracks I wish they would have, it was still one of my most memorable. Glad to have had them as my first concert of 2011. Nice way to start off the yr with something epic!

The Fillmore in Charlotte remains a great place for live music, especially for metal. This was a great line-up of four bands, starting with the local Black Ritual, a fun old-school oriented outfit. Up next was Ne Obliviscaris, whom I did not know, but who play some cool progressive death metal. The band's presentation could be uplifted a bit, so that the two great singers have better visual support. The band's music is very accomplished. Then came the mighty Butcher Babies, who are just totally awesome all the way!!! Don't get fooled by the obvious aspects of their looks, because this is one great band with an incredibly tight sound and an absolutely spectacular show! The Butcher Babies are a must-see and must-experience live band! Black metal veterans Cradle of Filth ended the night. It's not my kind of music, but their presentation was really disappointing. Black metal needs great visuals, and the Cradle did not bring that on this tour. Once again the folks at the Fillmore had a great organization and ran things smoothly. I just wished the security guys at the entrance will be better at getting everybody in a bit more quickly next time.

CoF put on a good show, though the constant blinding strobe lights get annoying after a while. Unfortunately, Turisas was opening and only played 5 songs (2 from their new album) and did not play Rasputin, which was disappointing. CoF also only played one song from Midian and one from Cruelty and the Beast. Turisas sounded great, CoF sounded great, Nachtmystium was good, and Daniel Lioneye was meh. It was cool though got to hang out a bit with Turisas while waiting for CoF to come on. The sound quality was very good at the Norva. Overall a good show, but needed more Turisas.

The atmosphere was amazing and the bands were great. After each band played, most of them came out into the crowd to hangout with the fans. They let the fans take pictures with them and they joked around with people. I did not get to stay until the very end, so I don't know if Cradle of Filth came out into the crowd or not. The only thing I didn't like was the parking. Everything was parking meters. Security staff let you go out to your car one time to feed the meter, but the meters only lasted 2 hours and the concert lasted longer than 4 hours on the meters. The merchandise was very affordable. These guys are great, me and my daughter had a very good time :-) Nobody pushed or tried to knock you out of the way to get up front, everyone was laid back. We all had to take our chains off our Tripps before entering.

This was my 3rd time seeing Cradle of Filth, and as usual, they delivered an outstanding performance. I especially liked their new female addition,Lindsay. Her singing is great and a perfect accompaniment to Dani Filth. Just 1 problem with the tour...the Butcher Babies. The 2 female singers couldn't carry a tune in a bag...even their screaming was off key. Same with the musicians, off key and bad timing. This show was amazing. Despite the unnaturally early start time, Cradle of filth did not disappoint. The opening acts got the crowd pumped up and when Cradle took the stage everyone was ready. Their performance was exactly what you want, in that it brings the music out of your speakers and surrounds you adding a great stage show with vocals that don't fall flat like some other performers when they're outside a studio. We had a whole group to attend with and that made it universally agreed that this is one of the most memorable shows we have ever seen.

Cradle of Filth played a great set and performed flawlessly. The new line up seemed to have been with the band since the beginning. Vocalist Dani Filth performed as powerful as ever. Opening Act Ne Obliviscaris were a very interesting band. I praise them for their unique sounds that gave their music imagery and meaning even without the vocals. The wait for the meet and greet took longer than expected, but once in the venue we got to get our stuff signed and photos. The band is super nice and down to earth. The venue is clean, and accommodating. They played an amazing set. Can't wait til the next time I get to see them!

An Awesome show IMO, they're are back, that's as much as I can say, Saw them 5 years ago in Atlanta and this last show is significantly better than that one, special mention to Ne Obliviscaris for an excellent performance and to the Cradle of FIlth crew, the were so nice to the people that attended the show. Thanks!

I mainly went for Turisas and by the time I got there they were already off the stage. Waste of money for me. COF was ok but I ended up leaving early out of boredom.

I could not get over how Dani Filth could screech throughout the entire concert and still have his vocal cords in tact! Phenomenal performance!!

The whole show was extremely well done! A fine way for this American tour to go out. All of the bands: Turisas, Daniel Lioneye, Nachtmystium, and of course Cradle of Filth performed beyond expectation. They most certainly gave it their all for this tour. Each band gave a completely unforgettable impression. I highly recommend this show to anyone looking for a great time listening to phenomenal music!

These guys are the only reason I went to this show. Simply the best of the bands that appeared, although none of the other bands were really in the same genre of music. Completely worth getting hit in the face and fallen on by crowd surfers that got dropped. =] The only thing I would have changed would be to have Dani's mic turned up a little more. Five stars for Cradle. Maybe half a star for Daniel Lioneye. His voice irritated me after a few songs.

Always enjoy seeing cradle live. I do have to say the either the mic was turned down or dani was losing his voice because I could barely hear him. I still had a amazing time besides that

This was the first time I had seen Cradle of Filth, and it will definitely not be the last. Not only was the show great, the music frickin kicked a$$. Sound was excellent, stage, while small, was well set up and the band seemed to really enjoy firing the crowd up and we reveled in it!

Great sound, great show. The band is more lively than I anticipated, definitely will seek them out their next tour. Did I say the sound/playing was exceptional?
