I don't think I've ever had so much fun in my life! I recall making fun of my starstruck mother once at a concert, for crying during the first song. Well, times change and Foxy Shazam had me so excited I could barely breathe, let alone stop the tears washing off my eyeliner! The first opener was decent, but the second two opening acts were stellar! Cadaver Dogs put on an energetic rock and roll show, with the drummer channeling Keith Moon so far as style goes. Fun, upbeat music and well-suited to the other groups following. Added enthusiasm came as it revealed that Saturday night was the birthday of the wild man on the drums! Next, we saw Audiomagik. This group impressed the hell out of me and the folks I came with. The music was great, with their singer and frontman receiving a number of jaw-drops from my crew. The band was all over the stage, playing fantastic rock and roll with heart and swagger. Their style was a throwback to the absolute best of late '60s and 70's rock. Their manner on stage screams ROCKSTARS. The crowd had an amazing time, and their sets was the perfect precedent for the Foxy Shazam show yet to come. (Though honestly, you have to be really, really terrific to follow Audiomagik, because most groups would not end up in a favorable comparison) Foxy Shazam is truly an incredible act to watch. Including brass and keys in their energetic rock music, they achieve a highly interesting and complex sound, while always coming off as the most fun you can be having at a live music gig. Their singer has the coolest of cool voices, mixing an almost Broadway style of singing with a few well-placed distorted rock and roll screams that will give you chills. He is engaged with the audience and having a blast with fellow band members. Their keys player crowdsurfs...WITH his keyboard! The trumpet player has the most fluid legs since a young James Brown graced the stage. There is nothing ordinary about this show. I have never seen a band with so much energy and presence, but also phenomenal music to back up the show! It was a treat to see this band, from Ohio playing at the Madison Theatre (OH/KY) when I was home in my native Ohio for the holidays! This really should have been the New Years show because the bands and the crowd partied so hard together, I don't know how any of us could top the experience on New Years Eve. I'd also have to add that the sound for all 4 bands playing was excellent. I'm not sure if each had their own crew, or if sound was run by the Madison Theatre itself, but it was easy to hear each and every instrument and vocal throughout the night. The venue was great, with a balcony upstairs offering comfortable seats, a place for your coats, tables for your drinks, best view in the house, and an upstairs bar. This was one of the best entertainment experiences of my life!

Foxy Shazam! The greatest show you never knew you wanted to see! Foxy always puts on an amazing show! This is my second time seeing them and they kicked ass! I enjoyed every second of it and I was singing along to every song! They even did some of their older stuff which wassurprising! After the show I was able to meet the supporting bands and even Daisy from Foxy Shazam! He was super sweet and talked with me and my friends and signed autographs and took pictures. Foxy Shazam is the best band! <3

I HAVE SEEN THIS BAND 6 TIMES THIS YEAR AND THEIR ENERGY IS LIMITLESS . I SEEN THEM OPEN FOR THE DARKNESS IN PHILLY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND FELL IN LOVE . THIS LAST SHOW @ THE TLA IN PHILLY WAS ALOT OF FUN. I DON'T THINK ERIC NALLY STOOD STILL FOR 10 SECONDS . THE SET WAS GREAT , THO ERIC WAS ALITTLE TOO TALKATIVE FOR SOME PEOPLE , I DIDN'T MIND IT . IF THEY HEAD YOUR WAY PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT - THEY WILL BE HUGE SOMEDAY I CAN SEE IT!! IF YOU SEE ANY OF THE BAND MEMBERS DON'T BE AFRAID TO SAY HELLO - THEY ARE SWEETHEARTS!!

I have made it no secret that i LOVE this band !! I first saw them opening for the Darkness earlier this year and instantly fell in love . The intensity this band has for playing live is so refreshing . Their songs are unique and well crafted like bands long since gone like Queen . I traveled all the way from Philly on a bus to see these guys and was not disappointed . The show was fun , the openers were fun and good and Eric was definitely on with the jokes . My only gripe is no encore , but i was well satisfied with the songs they did play!

I just learned about Foxy Shazam a few months ago and have the chance to see them twice now... the first show was at Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan, and this past Friday was at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Both times they delivered! They're talented, fun and energetic musicians. It's always a pleasure:-) I'd recommend Foxy Shazam to anyone who wants to see a spectacular rock and roll show!

Foxy Shazam is an amazingly talented band. They are fabulous musicians with infinite energy, and give the best live show I have ever seen. I first saw them in Chicago when they opened for The Darkness, and it was such a delight to see them again as headliners, where they had the time to play songs from all three of their most recent albums. Each member is a showman in his own right, yet they all gel beautifully. Catch them if they come to a venue near you--they give their all every night, and you will have an awesome evening of fantastic music.

Best live gig I've seen in a long time! Cigarette eating part was as cool as ever (though, don't think its good for him in the long run). Guys sounded top-notch, and were on their game through the entire set. The stage could've been a bit bigger, because these guys should be given more space to strut around! Totally recommend a Foxy show to anyone, and would definitely see them again the next time they're in town. Cheers!

Foxy Shazam are one of the best live bands I've had the pleasure to see. They are energetic, fun, hilarious, glam. They are professional maniacs. Every single one of those gusy is his own demanding character. There happens so much on stage, that you will miss something, no matter where you look.

This show ROCKED! I would go see it again once a week if I could...no joke. The Bowery Ballroom was a perfect venue for Foxy Shazam. It was intimate, yet big enough for people to feel like they could move around a bit. COME BACK SOON, FOXY!!!

First time at venue. Walked into room and just stood around right side of stage. Was literally like 10 ft away from Sky. Have seen Foxy 3 times so far this yr and every time its just as great as the last. So much energy. So entertaining. Will be seeing them for a 4th time in July.

I saw Foxy Shazam at the Warped Tour after my daughter raved about their show at Lollapallooza. They were amazing and hooked me as a new fan. Got to meet them after the show as they were trolling around the venue. I'm hoping to catch them at this show!

If you want to be absolutely entertained you MUST see this group. Their talent alone is engaging but to see them - it's like rock meets cirque du soliel! Eric's voice is like no other and he just connects with his audience, so entertaining. Alex plays the horn with the force of a hurricane. The lights, the energy the sound is just so unique I'm afraid after seeing them I'd be disappointed seeing anyone else live.

Foxy Shazam was probably the best live act I've ever seen. The venue could use a few changes though. I think they should have been a little tighter with security because there were two girls in front of me who where smoking marijuana the entire show and no one said or did anything. And they shouldn't put up signs that say "complimentary parking" when you have to pay $6 to get out.

Foxy Shazam is someone you NEED to see live. The band has incredible stage presence and you will enjoy every song they play. Some call them a reinvented Queen, but in the end they are their own style and that is how they play. I was disappointed in how long their show was, but it was a CD release party and not meant to be an actually concert. I would recommend everyone to go see him live.

Foxy is one of the greatest shows alive to go and see. The music will blow your mind taking you on a journey through time. Images of Freddy Mercury scream out yet with a twist of true Bohemian lifestyle. The guys take on their own iconic roles to prove that they will be here for along time and will be one of the biggest bands in the world. Bringing pride to the Nati they call home has truly given all of us Ohioans something to brag and boast about. In life you should have a dream list of groups to see live, such as Queen, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and while most of these you can still see touring you must add Foxy to your dream list, trust me you won't regret it.

Great band, who is also a great live band.(rare) They should be playing arenas, but as a fan, I am selfishly glad they still play some smaller venues. Because you can't beat the smaller shows live. But, they truly are a band who is worthy of larger pay checks and fan base.

Saw this show with the Cadaver Dogs and Larry and His Flask; both were killer. I went to the show not knowing either band and they both did excellent. The Foxy Shazam I know and have seen twice before did not appear along with their new album and new sound. It wasn't until after about 30 minutes that they started playing their old material to the band I went to see.

This was my first time, both for seeing Foxy Shazam and for being at the Bowery Ballroom. The space was clean and spacious, I was able to get a front spot. Hearing GONZO live definitely made my life, as well as experiencing the rest of the things that "normally" happen at a Foxy concert (cigarette eating, bass balancing, insane horn and piano playing). It was all simply amazing, also considering that Larry and his Flask were a great opener, they really got the crowd pumped up! Best concert I've experienced so far.

Foxy Shazam gave a great double-set [the entire new album and a 'classic' set] for about 75mins, pulling out all the stops. They continue to exude rock n' roll majesty, playing hard, filling the stage, and not answering for it. Favorite live show.

From opening band to Eric's final cigarette-eating feat, the show was an energetic freak show! Larry and His Flask got the audience going with their insane dance-able punk/bluegrass tunes and really kicked things into high gear when they took their show into the audience! It was like a crazy bizarro hoedown. Foxy did their GONZO album songs in the beginning then went into their past hits (I Like It, Unstoppable, Holy Touch, etc). I was not prepared for the mosh pit that erupted with "Bombs Away." I would say that the crowd ranged from early twenties to sixties and anyone over the age of 30 quickly dispersed to let the maniacs flail around in the middle. That was over pretty quick though, thankfully. There was a lot of dancing and just an electric party atmosphere which really made me feel alive. I needed this. I can't wait for them to come around again.

If you have never seen Foxy Shazam then the next time they are in town drop everything and go see them. For those of you who have seen them before, then you know what I'm talking about. This is the third time I've seen them and honestly, they keep topping themselves each time. This show was the best I'd ever seen them. They are a unique experience live and they did not disappoint this time at all. My sons and I were in the front row and had a great time. By far, one of the best concert experiences in recent memory...Thanks Foxy for keeping rock alive in Cincinnati. Looking forward to many more of your shows!

Many thanks to Foxy Shazam. I am 103 yrs old and since I have been listening to their music I have been rapidly getting younger:). I was most likely one of the oldest fans in the room which was very cool. I grew up when disco ruled and almost lost hope until punk and new wave/alternative hit. Thank goodness for that. Now I am a father and really can't stand anything i hear my kids listening to on the radio which is kind if similar to those lost radio times of my era. In comes Foxy with a fresh active sound, dynamic stage presence, and passion for what they do. I have always loved music and watching these guys have given me a new favorite band. Thanks guys. Keep working hard, have fun, stay true, and I will look forward to personally thanking you sometime soon. Come back to cincy more. Yours in health and rock.

I only looked these guys up about a week before the show since they were one of the openers. I ended up wanting an encore and like these guys just as much, if not more than the headliner. Music is unlike much of anything coming out today and each of the members were non stop fun while on stage. Singer has an unbelievable voice. You can tell the band really feeds off the crowd. I'll pay to see them every time, headlining or not.

Got to see the incredible Foxy Shazam last weekend. Like their music? Go see them. Don't like their music? Go see them anyway. I've seen bands from Jane's Addiction , to Green Day, to the Neon Trees, to Twenty One Pilots. Foxy Shazam put on the most high energy, exciting, straight up rock n roll concert I've ever witnessed. The energy bouncing back between them and the crowd is amazing. Basically, no matter what band member you're looking at, you're missing a different band member doing something similarly awesome. Whether it's Sky White playing keyboard while crowd surfing, Eric Nally eating cigarettes, or anything this amazing band does, I guarantee you'll have a good time.

This was the first time I saw them live and I had always heard they are awesome live. Well, they did not disappoint!! This band has a very eclectic mix of musicians. They truly are unlike anything out there right now. That's why I love them. Very original performance. You can tell they LOVE what they do and they love making music. Some bands "phone it in" but not these guys. Will absolutely see them again. We are lucky to live in a city with great local bands. Love the fact that they're from Cincinnati, but are receiving national attention. Great energy at their show. Next time they play, drop everything and see them!! Excellent venue and great performance! Small enough to meet Nally's dad in the bathroom, large enough to rock out. Drinks were a fair price, I guess.. Met most of the band out after the show. Great group of guys. Enjoyed that they were humble enough to take pictures with my two sisters after a long night. Foxy gets more polished ever time I see them, which will be again. Oh, Lord!

Went to see Foxy at The Madison. Doors were supposed to open at 6:30, didn't open until 7:00. First opener didn't get on until almost 8. 3 sub-par opening acts later, Foxy Shazam gets on stage at almost 11 P.M. We didn't even stay for their whole set because the preceding night had aggravated and exhausted us so much.

For a packed house on Halloween, I expected a much different show. They played for at most 45 minutes and hit about 8 or 9 songs. They have been my favorite band of the past year and I've fallen in love with their self titled album. However, the lead singer spent about the same amount of time talking about a crappy magazine review as he did singing lyrics. He didn't sing half of the lyrics in multiple songs, instead he was running around on stage and jumping off the drums and performing. The band played great and were really fun to watch, the trumpet player (who sings backup) even took over singing a lot when Eric wasn't. I've been to around 50+ shows and seen everything from jazz to heavy metal and even some rap. I love it when a lead singer talks to the crowd, but I've never wanted to singer to shut up and just sing before last night. I wouldn't have cared if he talked so much if he at least sang his own songs. Maybe it was just a weird night, a lame crowd or that's just his style, but the first thing I want to see when I go to a live show is their music. Thank God I got a free ticket for this, $15 was too expensive for what we got. I definitely will give them another shot because their music is so good, but I was disappointed.

What a pleasant surprise to be able to see these guys. I had no previous knowledge of Foxy Shazam. Caught their act at a SLASH concert. Awesome energy! Lead singer is quite a character, running all around, doing somersaults, jumping on the guitarists shoulders. This guy is cross between Freddie Mercury and Bon Scott, and he can still keep in tune while running around. The band is also solid and they put on a good show. Bottom line--FUN, FUN, FUN.
