Arnold Classic

This was my first Arnold expo and I was extremely surprised with how nice and willing to talk everyone was. Lots of free samples and items. Overall a great experience. Will be visiting next year.

If you're into fitness, then the Arnold Sports Festival is the place to be at. They have a wife range of stuff for everyone. I had so much fun and i got a lot of free stuff

The Classic was amazing. Huge crowds excellent opportunity to meet and greet with big names. Fantastic time. VIP should get more perks but we got in 30 minutes early. Parking was expensive~ and cops ticked cabs picking us up. Overall I would not miss a chance to go! Value was ok. Fun time for guys and girls that like the gym life.

It was an amazing event!!! My favorite part was meeting Jamie Eason-- what a beautiful and kind woman!

The Arnold was awesome again this year! What a treat to see Sylvester Stallone come and support the sports! I would like to recommend expanding the expo area. Too many people to be able to stop and talk to the exhibitors.

My husband and I had the honor and pleasure of being at the party with 8-X Ms. Olympia Lenda Murray and her wonderful husband Urel McGill! I also had an opportunity to meet some of the Women's Pro Bodybuiliders and to enjoy the wonderful food that was provided in thr VIP section of the LC Pavillion! We danced and had a great time!! I even took a picture of Arnold...I could not get too close...body guards..but that was o.k....I was in the VIP section with THE ARNOLD and MS. Olympia!! What more could a girl ask for!!!!

Everything was excellent and fun. Thea athletes, shows and expos were great. The only negative was the "Party with the pro's" event, after the Arnold Classic. It was in an not so great place, but the worst thing was that at the door they led the athletes and "VIP's" to one area and the common folk to another. So from where I was I could see some of the athletes in their separate section. That was about it. They should rename it to "Party near the Pros" or something like that.

Event has grown so large that it is difficult to plan for specific areas of interest. The website only provided general information. Even the printed materrial that was handed out with the expo was generic and inadequate. For example: on Saturday the broshure provided indetified "Amature Men's and Woman's Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure finals. from 10:00- 1pm". Was it too much trouble to identify when specifically each of these 3 were scheduled? It's unlikely that most people care about all 3. Need to do a better job of providing useful (Rather than generic) information.

Thought the show was incredible, the only placing i didnt agree with was branch warren taking third. After just placing second in the olympia I thought he brought the same package and somehow got third. Phil heath looks good but brance was deserving of a second place spot and arguable the title. Kai brought his best though and won it all. What a great night at my first arnold classic!

Anyone young or old, athletes and sports or fitness fans alike I recomend attending the Arnold Classic at least once. Amazing spectacle, very family friendly well put together, lots of chances to meet very recognizable names in the fitness world

Best that I have seen I saw both the prejuding and the Main event in the evening. I had a Super night at Vetterans Memorial stage and the prejuding was as good as it can get thanks

This event was a lot of fun, very informative and entertaining. The events were a blast to watch and the vendors at the booths were helpful, friendly and provided gereat tips and products. Seeing the stars was a treat and they were accessible and willing to talk to everyone. Columbus is a great town with lots to do and good places to eat. Very clean and user friendly.

the show was well organized, started at 7pm and was over at midnight, large facility, with food and beverages and you where allowed to bring it inside. They kept a good pace and things moved along. the judging was excellent and the overall winner in bikini, chady dunmore was smoking hot, fit but not too tone like a figure competitor, her bathing suit was incredible, hair, makeup and skin where flawless! good luck to her in the future.

The Arnold sports festival was awesome. I went to the "EXPO" for 2 days about 4 hours each day. It was great to get a ton of free magazines, books, merchandise, autographs and especially free samples of supplements. I liked to talk to a few bodybuilders and get pictures signed etc. The only problem with the expo is the overcrowding. There are a ton of people walking around in the expo and some lines to see jay cutler were super long.

This event was fantastic. I just got into the whole bodybuilding scene and it was the first event I have ever been to. I was blown away. It was amazing I got to meet so many of the people I look up to. Fantastic.

Pure awsomeness, that's all there is to say. Got to see a lot of celebrities and got a lot of free stuff.

The Arnold has grown in popularity which is a good thing for fitness but has become too large trying to incorperate too much without growing to meet the demand, Been going for several years and this will be the last time I will attend the Arnold because it has just turned into an over crowded mad house not worth the 11 hour drive from KC and $1000 I spend in attending, Sorry Arnie but it's just not worth it anymore, would rather stay at my gym and lift!

Although it was crowded the Arnold Expo was awesome. The vendors were all so nice and very willing to talk and get pictures with you. The lines for the celebs could have been better organized but I still got to meet a few and I was within 6ft of Arnold at one point that was so cool. I would recommend to anybody that is interested in fitness or bodybuilding to go. Jarrod, Dustin and I had a lot of fun.

It Was Awesome This year!! The crowds were Big On all three days and for the most part were Courteous and moved along the isles well. The High lights for me were The MHP booth and cage and the Animal Pak Cage some awesome lifting on both. As well as the Amateur Strongman Contest.

There is no other show like this. There is actually TOO much to do! Best people-watching on the planet, too.

Do not miss out on 2019. For the bargain price of getting in, you get your chance of plenty of T-shirts, muscle powder samples, etc. At 3 days for $40 + fees, you pay less than you would going to a store when you work all the free items you can get from the exhibitors. Over at VPX Bang, they were giving away the energy drinks by the case if you were many of the lucky in the crowd during the event. Out at the store, you pay a good number of dollar for a case. You do not even have to tell the fans in the jammed packed convention center that they should buy tickets next year. They already have it on their schedule to go back.

If you haven't been to the Arnold Sports Festival it's totally worth going to. It is definitely a bucket item list event!

My son and I have enjoyed attending this event for the last two years. It s held in an intimate, scaled-back version of the grand ballroom where many people bring with them their Sunday coffee. The winners of the weekends main events are informally interviewed in this relaxed setting and the easy conversation is always engaging and interesting. It culminates with Arnold himself sitting in, for usually and hour, and talking with the atheletes and the audience. It s a truly great way to wind down the Classic weekend!

Whether you are into sports, fitness in general, or just a humble couch potato, you must make time to visit the classic some year. There are 78 sports in progress for you to view with an opportunity to watch top athletes from all over the world. My son and I are annual visitors and enjoy watching the body building, and physique events, but our real passion is the world strongman competition. Impossible to describe in words what it is like seeing these guys do the seemingly impossible.

The Sports festival was as awesome as ever. Lots of product to sample. My only complaint: the isles were narrow and at times hard to navigate.

This event was awesome! Seeing all of the greats in one place was incredible and inspiring. I highly recommend.

I went down on the Saturday of the festival and arrived 30 minutes after it opened. It was impossible to move right out the gate. The venue is large but there are so many venders and so many people that it makes it feel so tiny. Do not go if you are claustrophobic, hate being touched by strangers, or do not like to smell the body odor of other people. Also, if you go to see the competitions, it is nearly impossible to see the stage. You are forced to stand and watch from TV screens even though you are only 75' away from where the stage is. However, there are a lot of free things being handed out so you definitely make up the cost of the ticket in free t-shirts and protein powder.

It a amazing event to go to. Would do it again but spend 2 days.

As usual the martial arts events had lags and delays where nothing was happening. Most were local level and average ability. Shuttle buses between the convention center and fairgrounds were adequate though the lines were long.

Way too many people! Crowds were crazy. Unable to see many of the booths because there were so many people and the lines were too long. Would have liked to see more.

Title says it all!!! This isn t what it once was..... This used to be like trick or treat for adults. You could go down to the expo and pick up tons of free swag. Shirts, shaker cups, samples from the big supplement companies, but also try new stuff from up and coming companies. I don t mind going down and buying items at a discount, but the fact of the matter is, most of the companies aren t even selling items... And if they are, they are charging as much as my local supplement shop..... All in all. It s still a fun time. More so for hanging with a few friends, taking in a ton of people watching and getting some good lunch afterwards!

Spent the better part of Saturday at The Arnold Sports Festival with my family. SUPER crowded, loud (in the Expo itself), but worth every minute. Parking close was $$ but worth not walking a mile in the cold! Very organized, professional venue, great staff, great security presence from various uniformed (and probably plainclothes) Law Enforcement personnel. Great day!

I go to this every year. There is so much going on that it is impossible to see everything.

I flew in and out on Saturday with a friend from Chicago. We both enjoyed it alot, however, it was just too crowded. I'm sure it was a fire hazard. There were so many people you could not walk freely. Literally, you could only take a couple steps at a time to navigate around the hall. We took 2 steps then stopped for a few seconds, because the people ahead stopped and others are trying to come down same aisle you're going up. My friend kept getting overheated, so we had to step outside the convention center hall so she could get some air. And, what should have been a 30 second walk to the exit, took 5 to 10 minutes. Imagine if there was an emergency? That part was awful. Otherwise, the shows, vendors, and overall program was nice. Please consider a much larger space or moving the several stages to other rooms within the convention center. Walking shoulder to shoulder with people you don't know and you have no where else to move is not pleasant.

The expo was great! It was nice to be so close to the athletes and they were all very friendly. My only negative was it was so crowded. You literally could barely walk and the lines for some booths were so long you didn't know where it started or ended. Plus the line to get in when the doors open was ridiculous. The finals on Saturday night was a blast. I loved the bodybuilding guys when they walked in to the audience. Makes it more personal and friendly. I would recommend this but tell people to go on Friday or Sunday to the expo, Saturday is too crowded.

The Fitness Expo at the Columbus Convention Center features many different merchants and vendors in the areas of exercise, diet, nutrition, health and body building supplements, as well as many others. There are also various athletic competitions taking place during the course of the three day event. I always have a great time; would recommend attending to anybody!

Gymnastics meet Friday night...still charge same price and we can t get into the venue by the time we are done. Can t get in the venue early due to school. Why can t there be a seperate charge for Friday night gymnastics ??

Completely unorganized! We arrived at 8:30 am as the schedule listed with check in starting at 8am. Demo Teams were scheduled to compete at 10am. They did not compete until after 2pm! During that time our son was called into the holding area for his forms competition. He was unable to be in the arena during the judging with his teammates from his Demo Team. Alot of time was wasted in the holding area as the competitors were not broken into division prior to that time. Which again is poor planning. All of this information was submitted during registration. The amount of stress this added and waste of time is completely avoidable with proper planning. Students put alot of time and effort into their training and should compete in an organized appealing area. Also, the operation of the sound equipment was terrible. Obviously, no one checked this prior to event. We were very disappointed.

Don't go on Saturday. Too crowded to get around. Much more manageable on Sunday and scored a lot of supplement samples.

Before I purchased the ticket I did some research.The website had mentioned that at this event it'll be the weekend's Only opportunity to "engage" with Arnold so I was excited. I couldn't sleep much the night before and in my head I rehearsed what I'd say to Arnold and the other Champions at the event. Breakfast with the Champions. Well, half the Champions weren't there at 9:30am and by 10:30 they went on stage for the interview. I decided to jump in line for Kai Greene. Spent there 50 minutes just to be 10th in line and than it was over. I didn't get to meet one person that counts. Not to mention that there wasn't any opportunity for anyone to meet Arnold. It must be taken off the website. This was my first time travelling there and spend 3 seconds with people I look up to and inspire me. There just wasn't given enough time to meet people.Some fortunate people did. In the next years coming I'll be looking at the video on youtube for free :) I drove 14 hours to be there and meet people as I was told I would. Some people flew in, I can't imagine how disappointed they are. I'm sad. It was a privilege to see the guys on stage being interviewed, but again, it's free on youtube the next day. 30 year Anniversary, so if this was the biggest opportunity to meet any Champions, than I'm out :(

I thought this was a great event. That s great for kids and adults. Lots of great things to see and do. The best part about it I have to say is the Brazilian jujitsu grappling. I will definitely go again and take my daughter with me.

I have been wanting to go to this event for years!! My expectations were definitely met, however it was extremely crowded. Perhaps, a larger venue would be a good idea to accommodate the crowds.

This was a great venue for this event. Lots of different areas to check out. Only complaint would be that they should cap the number of attendees. It can get quite crowded during the weekend.

I got lots of free samples which def paid for ticket. Only downside is the lines and disorganized lines. Don't know when it ends or starts. Needs someone to direct people at the booths. Quest had people doing that and it worked really well. Overall great expo.

It was so awesome! The crowd was explosive! It was a very exciting moment in my life!

We went with 2 kids (6 and 4) was little scared after reading reviews that kids will be bored... they had a blast!!! Kids Expo had so much to do for them that they wanted to go there every day. Yes, it was crowded especially on Saturday, so if you want to watch particular event you need to come early to get place closer to the stage. We saw Arnold Schwarzenegger couple times that was a Bonus :) Shuttles were available every 5-15 min no long wait . Suggestion- park at Ohio expo center for 8$ and take shuttle to Convention center will save money and time looking for parking.Overall looking forward to next year and kids want to go again !!!

Went with a couple buddies from work. We had a great time. Would recommend going for great supplement deals and tons of pictures with celebs from the industry.

There were more things to do than even possible in 4 days. Never a dull moment. So many free samples from vendors. I will be back next year

Love seeing all of the vendors and people who really care about health and fitness.

This venue was a very small and quaint atmosphere. After fighting crowds for two days in the Expo, it was nice to be in an atmosphere of quiet and calm. Our two teenage boys really liked seeing Arnold up close. It would have been nice if he had stood up and faced the crowd a little more, rather than sitting in a chair the whole time, so that we could have gotten a few good pics. Arnold only stayed for about 45 minutes. It would have been nice to have known the line-up of other body builders who were going to appear. After Arnold left, we left, so I'm not sure what we missed. It was definitely worth $25/seat.

EVERYONE SUCH GO NEXT YEAR. IT WAS THE BEST EVENT I HAVE BEEN TOO SINCE LAST YEAR. YOU CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE EITHER. ARNOLD CLASSIC IS THE BEST FOR ANYONE AT ALL AGES.

This event is always amazing, but Saturdays are the worse. You cannot move and this year after attending 8yrs I left the expo and when back to the hotel. If you are a fitness person there isn't other event like this in the world were you will see your favorite fitness person in just about any sport, this is what Arnold has spend over 40yrs to accomplish. Friday and Sunday are the best time because Saturday is crushing. If you do attend on Saturday make sure you're there early in line to grab some goodies leave then come back around 3p.m. because everyone is so sick of the crowd that they leave. But where can you pay $12 or $15 to an expo and get hundreds or even thousands of dollars of supplements and clothing for free. Where else can you try to see over 18,000 Athletes from 80 different countries compete for the honor of being the best in there sport and not all of it is for money or metal but just for the love of there sport and to say they represent for theirs. And has a Plus you may even bump into a celebrity or two.

I can't imagine not attending this invent being VIP. Just being able to go to the expo half an hour before they open the doors for everyone else is worth the VIP tickets to me. Then there's the meet and greet event.

First time I went and enjoyed every moment. Not only were the booths were nice, other spectators were friendly too.

The long lines over crowded isles and fear of snow on Sunday made this event one to not be forgotten. I went to this event with high hopes and eager expectations. Could barely move and if you stood in one line to meet a hero, that was pretty much your entire day down the drain. All products were expensive and "on sale" however knowing that i got my product from asf2014 made it worth it. I had more horrible moments than great ones but the great ones i did have WERE GREAT! Overall I have mixed feelings about this event. Debating on next year. We'll just have to see how things go over the next year.

We had a great time. If you wait just outside long enough, you can meet some odd the body builders.

The Arnold Classic 2014 was just awesome!!!!! The Expo was incredible. So many things to watch and so many booths to check out. Had a great time. Loved seeing all the bodybuilders that I read about in magazines in person.

The Arnold was a great experience and the Expo was amazing. It's like trick or treating for anyone who loves fitness. Make sure you bring an empty bag to carry as most booths are giving out free samples and you will find the best prices of the year here.

This was my 4th consecutive year attending this event. It's always an awesome time! What makes it awesome for me is that you're around health conscious people. Some are pro competitors, amatures, and those seeking to achieve this status. They are willing to share their success and give you advice and tips. Last year I bought the VIP package. The biggest advantage for me was being able to talk to the pro's and take pictures with them without standing in long lines or paying for their photo. It amazes me that so much muscle can be packed into the Expo and everyone is calm and having a good time. If you need motivation to get or stay healthy this is fantastic way to boost you. I thoroughly enjoy both the women's and men's competition on Friday and Saturday night. It's something you should definitely experience if you're into fitness and bodybuilding.

First time attending "the Arnold". Was definitely worth the trip from Dayton, Ohio. I plan to attend next year.

Getting to see some big names on stage in full form! Nothing like it! My recommendation: Just get the cheapest tickets you can and fill empty seats when you get there. When I bought my tickets it was probably 80% sold out, but the night of the show, the seats were MAYBE filled 40%.

Awesome 25th anniversary finals night and the Expo was jumping with stars and excitment

WOW!! That was a great show! We had the VIP tickets and it was well worth it! Especially at the 'Meet & Greet. We actually got to meet Branch Warren. A very humble guy and a super star. I even got pictures with him! Also met 'Big Ronnie Coleman'. What a nice gentlemen he was. We had some laughs! Ava Cowan was a sweetheart, among other bodybuilders. What a great group of wonderful people with such passion for fitness,bodybuilding and life itself! It was just great to meet these people in person. Not only that, when we were at the Expo, we even seen the likes of Frank Zane and Charles Glass! Unbelievable! We also got to go to the training seminar to see Arnold talk and also interviewed by Bob Chicarelli. We had a great time there just listening to Arnold talk. He was very inspiiring. I'LL BE BACK'

This by far was the greatest event of a life time...i met so many celebs it was off the hook...i got new goals in my life and since being there lost 120 pounds by tweaking a few things i was doing wrong... i bought alot and got alot of supplements to try mostly all natural stuff...not a roid freak at all and never would suggest anyone do that, but it is your body and what you put into it will react how you want it to i have gigs of pictures and the models all i can say is wow...i got a better understanding of what builders have to go throw on a daily basis...i will never say it is easy again...2013 i will be on that stage myself... meeting rob and dana bailey and getting my shirt signed...cynthia gonzalez is the bomb, christina nac was a big inspiration to me, ,,,and tricia from ergogenix was also a very big help to me...love aftermath and ergo pump...to supps i can't be with out in my regiment...muscle assualt...enough said...the ladies are awesome there...and what can i say i am a quest bar junkie

The event is a very good event to attend for any fitness buff. Just be prepared to fight against a crowd

First time at the event. Was everything I expected and more. Was in front row for amateur bodybuilding and strongman events. Watched a work record squat. Was within 20 feet of Arnold and met several legendary bodybuilders. My only complaint was the shoulder to shoulder crowds in the expo, but I was not surprised by it at all. Lots of beautiful women on hand as well!

I have only gone once before to the Arnold Classic, and even then when i was younger and didnt really know what i was doing, i still had the most unbelievable time i could have hoped for! Now being older and more knowledgeable, it almost brings me to tears due to the fact that I had the chance that so few get, to meet idols, heros, and timeless icons! I met them, talked to them, got pictures with them, and not to mention autographs! I am saying now that it is one of my highest priorities to go to the Classic, I have recommended it to almost all of my friends, and I will continue to do so, because once they go for the first time, they'll want to go every year after, just as I did!

If you are in any way interested in or involved in the fitness/sports industry, this is a must. I am in the military and drove up to Columbus from Florida in order to go to the Arnold! I didn't get to go to the show, but the REAL fun is the EXPO! You get to meet all the inspirational and awe inspiring fitness stars of today and even some of the greats from yesterday. If you are especially lucky, you'll at least catch a glimpse of the man himself...ARNOLD! If this isn't incentive enough to go, then maybe the tons of free samples of the latest and greatest fitness products and supplements are! I had to make 3 trips out to the car to deposit all the free stuff I got and couldn't carry anymore! What's more is that it is only $15 to get in! It is an awesome and really inspiring experience. As soon as you leave, all you want to do is go workout! Unforgettable! Absolutely recommended! Great time guaranteed!

Was hoping to meet Arnold,maybe an autograph. Also thought there would be more bodybuilders there. This was my first time at ask Arnold.

The classic is just what it is..... a crowded, unorganized mess. If you know that going into it, you can have a good time and enjoy the experience. However, this year we figured purchasing the VIP would make it more enjoyable. How wrong we were. Other than 20 minutes (what it ends up being after the VIP line starts moving) early entrance into the expo, you get no parking, no T shirt, no seats or anything special at party with the pro's and your seats for the shows are good, but not worth what they charge for the VIP. They sell you on breakfast with Arnold the next day which is essentially a panel and you sit in the crowd auditorium style. Breakfast by the way is coffee. I'm pretty sure for all the advertised "pro" time I saw none. At the party with the pro's (which was a baby shower/rave/high school reunion/zumba class) we waited until 1230 and the pros still hadn't showed up and we had taken all we could. We still had to stand in line for wrist bands each day as well. Look up the definition of VIP Arnold, this wasn't it.

Phenomenal event to attend if your into fitness or even thinking about getting fit. Best bang for your buck. Great motivation and entertaining.

The Arnold classic is a great way to spend a weekend for anyone who has any interest in the fitness world. From CrossFit to bodybuilding to rowing to chess. There are a lot of activities and going ons here and it s a time that you won t soon forget.

This event is a great annual event for any fitness aficionados. My group of my gym friends went for the went and loved it. We saw world records be broken, stocked up on our supplements and fitness gear, got free samples of products to try, and took photos with our favorite strongmen. It was an unforgettable weekend and I ll be going every year I can from now on.

Will definitely be going again. Loved going to the Arnold.

Took my daughter to the Kids Expo and it was great, we both had fun and meeting Patrick Schwarzenegger was awesome!!!

The Arnold was a great experience. I got to see some incredible feats of strength, meet some Pro strongmen and bodybuilders, and generally get to see all the new gadgets in the fitness industry. However, the exhibit hall was always very crowded. Some lines to get into some of the booths were 1.5 hours long and at peak times it was hard to even walk from one side of the hall to the other.

The venue had alot of space.Very informative and entertaining .Not a great event for kids.Parking filled quick my family parked down the street about 3 miles away and paid $20.However, it was a great event and I will be attending next year.

This was a great venue for this festival. The convention center is huge and provides easy access to restrooms, which is especially great due to the number of people who attend. Sometimes it gets very crowded and becomes hard to navigate the area, but overall it was a fun experience.

This was the first year that I ve attended The Arnold Classic, and I had the time of my life! If you re a fitness fanatic, this event is a must-see!! The event itself was well-organized, and I got to meet a lot of amazing people! I m already planning my trip for next year!

Love the atmosphere! This event is a must go! From the people to all the events inside the venue, it was amazing.

If you like fitness and exercise do not miss the Arnold. They had yoga, lifting, Zumba and even belly dance fitness. The martial arts was superb. Wrestling was great.

I went on a Saturday. Fun experience, but it gets too crowded pretty quick. Expect to wait at least 30m-60m in line to grab supplements & 60m+ if you want to meet someone that is advertised. Overall, it's a good time if you don't mind the crowd.

I only wish it wasn t so crowded , otherwise the event is awesome .

My son participated in the 2018 Martial Arts Competition. Though he won gold medals, we will not come back. The event was extremely poorly planned. We spent hours and hours waiting for our turn. They kept moving us around and no one seemed to know what s going on. The judges were not officiating properly. I would give a zero if I could.

We were there primarily for the strength sports but there are almost 80 different sports represented. This was the 30th year but my first time going and I'm sorry I missed the other years. All the big names in your sport are there and accessible to the fans. Lots of vendors. I'll definitely be an every year attendee.

The Columbus Convention Center was a great venue. The Arnold Expo was very crowded. It was so crowded, in fact, that there were times we could barely move. We waited an hour and a half at many booths. We all agreed that we would go back again if there were one third of the people there. The best part of the day was meeting the biggest names in CrossFit at the Rogue booth.

Enjoyed the competitions. However, the body painting, while amazing and well done, didn t need to be on the main stage. Has nothing to do with working out and training. Seemed inappropriate.
