Army Black Knights Football

It was AWESOME! Not just because NAVY won, but because the excitement of the game and the passion of the midshipman and cadets.

I had good seats I could see the hole field. It was a hard Hittin game

My sister is a plebe at the USNA SO I made the trip down to see here in the band and cheer on Navy! The Pre-game ceremonies were a real spectacle, security took over an hour to get through but it was well worth the wait. There were flyovers by both F-18 jets and apache Helicopters. The Sec of Defense, Vice Pres, and Obama himself were there and the prisoner exchange was pretty cool as well. I was so pumped for the game and then it started. haha and they were both pretty bad, Im pretty sure there was only 1 pass in the entire 1st qrt. The skill level was lacking but because they were evenly matched it made for an exciting game in which Navy was able to pull it out right at the end to make it 10 in a row for the midshipmen! Half time was also pretty exciting! I would recommend this game to any one who loves their country or football!

This event was overpriced with limited seating available via Yankee Ticketmaster site. Upon gametime, too many empty seats in better areas to justify cost of these tickets in section 407a. Should have allowed ticket holders to move down into vacant areas at half time at least.

Although the Army - Rutgers game was competitive the event was better than the game. The weather was perfect and it was different seeing the stadium for football. I sat in sec 431 which offered a great view for football

Watching the Army vs Rutgers football game at Yankee stadium was a great experience. The stadium was beautiful, especially watching the moon rise over the stadium.The weather was perfect ,couldn't have asked for a better experience. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe connected to the stadium. Food was great. Loved watching the West Point Cadets. Everything was first class with Army as the home team, too bad they didn't win.

I loved being at Yankee stadium and visiting monument park before the game. I also love the pageantry and glorious feel of the day. The fact that Rutgers won made it even better. Leaving the parking lot was pretty bad though. Once we were out...the drive over the GWB was fine. Parking was $45, which is ridiculous for a college football

It was a great game. We had excellent seats - high up, but right on the fifty yard line, so we saw everything. The new Yankee Stadium is well designed. The only bad part - Army had a huge, loud screen that provided very partisan coverage of the game and all kinds of Army and military propaganda. They even continued to broadcast very loudly during Rutgers cheers, completely drowning out the cheerleaders.

I really enjoyed this game. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is a football fan. I enjoyed watching this game. I am a Yankee fan and to see the field transformed was astonishing. Go see a game at Yankee stadium. You will be glad you went

Yankee stadium is a great place to go see a football game. Public transportation, food and beverage service, good sightlines and video sreen and scoreboad. Some trouble with the grass in front of the erstwhile home plate area though. It messed up the field goal and extra point kickers. The tickets were marketed to me on line. I wish you had told me which side was Army fans and which side was Rutgers fans. I sat on the Army side, but I am a Rutgers alum, plus I'm a Navy man to boot!

Good seat, good game, a lot of side activities. Yankees stadium is beautiful, the event staff was very helpful. The only thing that concern me was the parking. There's no parking around the stadium, we park about 5 blocks away, in the parking lot, we not sure it's legit. And we paid $58 for it, more expensive than the ticket.

Game wasn't all that exciting but environment was fun, especially for a Yankees and college football fan. Stadium was next to empty, so seat prices seemed a bit outrageous. Went to this game so I could decide which seats to buy for upcoming Pinstripe Bowl. Field crew had some serious issues with the grass (not turf) field. Overall good experience

A close exciting game. The final score does not indicate how close the game was, Rutgers scored twice late in the 4th quarter.

The game in its self was a good game and it was def a fun time... But I bought the most expensive seats (front row on the 30) thinking they would be good. WRONG. I couldnt even really see the field. I watched most of it from the screens showing the game. I got a great view of the cheerleaders but thats not why i spent $110 on each ticket. I should have bought the cheaper higher tickets. They were def better seats.

This was over priced for a school event Which was evident by the half empty stadium.

Spent a lot of money on what I thought were good seats only to find out at the game that the seats were horrible. We were too close to the field at Yankee stadium for a football game, which should not have even been an option to buy. A section over had tarps on the seats, which probably was because the view was horrible. Couldn't view the game on the field and had to watch it on the jumbotron the entire game.

I didn't have high expectations. I was seriously wrong. Great game

It was an exciting game. These seats are over looked but they are perfect for football and must be great at a baseball game!

College Football at Yankee Stadium. This is my second time at a college game both in November at Yankee Stadium. I am an Army fan. The spirit at this game in this venue was awesome. Yankee Stadium is a great venue..YES ,I am a Yankee fan. Love seeing the cadets especially so close to Veterans Day. I met great people . All Stadium staff was helpful & courteous. Hopefully I ll return next fall to see the November Classic at YS.

I paid for second level seating and send my customers to the game. The Yankees told me that they had reserved the second level for me but my customers could not get those seats and sat in the seats assigned. Those seats where not what I purchased. I want a refund.

It's been a long time since I had the opportunity to see an Army football game! I invited my son form NYC (He's a UConn graduate) to meet me at the game for a good old father/son time to get together at the house that Ruth built to watch UConn dismantle the cadets. Boy, were we wrong! I should have know by pregame UConn Alumni event @ Billy's cafe that there was much more to this game than a football game. We didn't expect to see River Ave & 161st street to be a swarming sea of cadet grey & black that eventually transformed into a never ending march into the Yankee Stadium Bleacher section, where the cadets "stood & cheered" the entire game! WOW, what a sight to see,and what a good feeling to know that our future military leaders have such spirit and enthusiasm. It was only fitting the Army would "seal the deal" by taking an interception back 99 yards just when UConn looked like it was going to tie the game up. As a UConn season ticket holder for 15 years, I had not witnessed the crowd and student support, enthusiasm and passion as I did watching the Army pregame festivities, that included three paratroopers landing on the 50 yard line. We had no clue that the Army pregame pride and energy was only a precursor to a great UConn/Army halftime presentation, only surpassed by Army's high powered triple option, not to be denied victory over a supposedly superior opponent. This will not be my last Army football game. the spirit, enthusiasm, passion exhibited by the cadets and Army supporters was worth the price of admission alone! Can't wait to see a game at West Point!

I was seated next to the Weast Point band. Unbearable. I could not stay in my seat.

Bought the seats 6 rows up from field. Only thing we saw was the backs of the sideline players. I wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks for these seats. We had to watch the whole game from the screen. Literally couldn't see one play from those seats.

Cool to see FB at Yankee Stadium. Amazing ballpark and venue. Walk from train station was well lit and safe. Lots of cops. Only negative are the criminal high price gouging for food and drink. Shame on you Steinbrenner Family!

This was our second year in a row seeing the Army/Navy Game. It is quite a spectacular sight. All of the bands, cadets and midshipmen that come onto the field look amazing! One of the highlights for me is when the drum-lines battle before the game. I absolutely love it! Then this year the Blue Angels and the Army helicopters were able to do their fly-over. This happened while the theme song from Rocky was playing on the big screen. An incredible experience!!

This was by far the best sporting event I ever attended.Despite the snow,which added to the football atmosphere,the pomp and ceremony of the whole event was greatThough Apache hericopters are special,nothing beats the fly over by the Navy's Blue Angles. GO NAVY-BEAT ARMY

Had a great time ,4th yr in a row, and first time experienced by my daughters. Pre-game in parking lot tailgating was windy & chilly,but up in our seats wasnt' bad at all,especially for Dec. Great time had by us all with all the great fans,and better yet,the scoreboard:Navy 27 Army 21!

This was my first Army -Navy football game. I never realized it was SO much more than just a game. From the March On to the fly overs to the inductions this was a celebration of tradition and a realization of the sacrifice our armed services make to protect, defend and serve our country to keep all of us safe! Everyone should go at least once!

First time ever the Army Navy game has come to DC - and I wish it would be played here annually. Amazing game and great experience full of patriotism at a great stadium.

Great game! Army almost pulled off the win. Took our fathers to the game. Checked it off the bucket list.

Gret game, great seats, cold and windy weather. Ridiculous restroom lines, particularly for VIP Club Level seating on the 45 yard line! One less item on my Bucket List.

Ordered club level seats. I had never been to FedEx before. Seats were on the 35 yd line. By dumb luck, our seats were on the sunny side of the field. We spent the first half with our jackets off. We saw folks on the shady side all bundled up looking cold.

This was the closest and most exciting game between these 2 teams that we've seen in years. What a tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces.

Great Venue this yr. Long day, but a lot of fun to watch these two rival teams compete. A little cold-see if we can do something about that next yr? Watched a lot of the game from the club section, which was really nice!

A completely and thouroughly enjoyable experience. Every sports fan should experience an Army/Navy football game for the sheer love of the game.

Game and festivities were awesome. Fed Ex field parking is troublesome but expected. The stadium isnt the best but our club level seatswith access to the bars and restaurants were great. Much needed as it got cold when the sun went down!

The Army Rutgers game at Yankee Stadium was Great!. My friend and his son, and my two sons and I all had a great time. The New Yankee Stadium is a great place to see a football game.

Completely enjoyed the game. Went with a Rutgers grad, but sat in Army section. It was a great game. Had some young teens with us and they enjoyed it also. Every army football game is an amazing experience.

a great experience...army is a bit boring on offense they should have won! field got beat up too. metro north not coordinated on this day...... unaware of game i think conductors all messed up. yankee stadium great venue for football went to pinstripe bowl last year will go again this year hint: ticket prices too high buy cheap next time then move down to expensive seats that no one buys (don't tell nobody)
