Bob was a trip as expected. Venue was very nice. Easy to park and get in. Since show was not sold out they upgraded everyone to free for all seating and we got to sit closer which was awesome. Even sitting towards the back of the main section we were still close enough to see very clearly. Sound was good. He really interacted with the crowd a lot and made it a bit more personal which is great for someone as famous as he is. After all, he has been in the biz forever and knows pretty much everyone in Hollywood lol. Id recommend this venue for everyone. The last show I saw there was over 10 years ago (Brad Sherwood and Colin Mockery from Whose Line is It Anyway) and it was just as nice and well kept as the first experience.

I am a big Bob Saget fan. My kids grew up with Full House as I am sure millions of families also did. For those fans who loved Full House and do not know Bob Saget's material, well let's just say it's not for the faint at heart, in other words HE's FILTHY!!! But he is also very funny and makes himself very endearing to the audience. It was fun and he interacts with the audience a lot. He's not a stand- up and just tell jokes kind of comedian. It's almost like watching a cousin ( a very dirty cousin ) perform. So if you can't take dirty humor, and I mean really dirty humor, it's not for you. But if you can take it from a guy who delivers it with a smile and seems to love his audience, you will love him too! BTW he got two standing ovations!

The show was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. It just wasn't clear where to wait on line outside (different lines if you have tickets, will-call, etc., but they're not labelled).

We were very disappointed with the show. There was no real comedy in it, maybe one or two things but that was about it. We won't go to another one of his shows, sorry.

Opening act was wayyy better. anyone know who that was? Saget seemed too random/preplanned and tried way too hard. Just cause you throw cusses and random thoughts together doesn't make it funny.

My boyfriend and I LOVED the show. Tickets were not that expensive and he was totally worth it. There was a lot of obnoxious people in the crowd; but he was good at playing it off and not getting too pissed. lol I would have threw my mic at them. He was amazing, and I can't wait to see him and his openning act again next time their back!

if you are into midget jokes, and gay jokes, then you will love him. I on the other hand was expecting more out of it. He did a good job of using people in the crowd but all he had was just gay porn jokes, after a while it wasnt really funny anymore. I thought that his opening act of Ryan something was a much better comedian. Even the people sitting behind me who i guess had gone to many of his shows said that this is not one of the better shows of his that they had been on. so i guess it was good.. but i would not go see him again.

I was in Dallas visiting my daughter recently (November 2009) and decided to see Bob Saget at the House of Blues. The ticket price was right. The House of Blues in Dallas is a nice venue, a bit different that the House of Blues in Chicago. I did enjoy the House of Blues, Bob Saget was another story. Although Bob Saget uses foul language and the sort, that did not bother me a bit. My problem with him was that he is not that funny! He is an unrefined comic with no routine. He's got some sort of A.D.D. type of routine that is hard to even follow. He just babbles and babbles and babbles. Don't waste your money or your time seeing Bob Saget...anywhere.

I won't lie. When I saw that Bob Saget was coming to Dallas, I immediately got tickets. I had never seen his comedy show before, and I had only heard good things. Plus, let's face it... he's Bob Saget. Needless to say, I wasn't the most impressed by his show. While he was funny at times, people seemed to love him more because he was Bob Saget rather than him being funny or on point. His comedy style borders on ADHD kid telling you their life story, with frantic and disjointed words. And the audience ate it up. But I don't think that it's for the jokes or the funny stories, but for his clout. While I'm glad that I had the experience, I couldn't say that I would go to another one of his shows. He did have funny moments, and it was great that he interacted with the crowd... but sometimes it was just too much. But hey, what works for him is what's important, and he seems to be doing well enough.

I would give it a half star if I could. My friend and I were very disappointed in his show. I am not easily offended, so the crude humor did not bother me. However, it just was not very funny. The opening act was funnier than him and that is not saying much. He is very AD/HD in his delivery and none of his jokes really have a punch line. It was like he was trying too hard to be funny. His pop culture references were outdated as well. Titanic? Really? Come on, that was 12 years ago. To sum up his show, he makes a lot of jokes about Full House and his Mr. Mom persona, talks a lot about sex, he overuses the tems "dick" and "gay", and his guitar song was not funny at all---even threw in some fart jokes here.

Ryan Stout was funny & the perfect introduction and warm up for Bob Saget. Bob was great - interacting with the audience (several throughout the night).. loved his ability to be all over the page & make you feel "almost" uncomfortable at times while you are belly laughing about how wrong the underlying joke truly was. Fantastic show & will definitely see him again next time he's in the area.

Take out the profanity and crudeness and you are left with nothing remotely clever or funny. Take out the profanity and crudeness and all that was said was that he had knee surgery three weeks ago, and he couldn't even turn that into something funny.

Bob Saget is disgusting. And I mean that in a good way. His pace is exhausting, and his interaction with the crowd is spontaneous and effective. Above all, he is funny. That would have been a great show in a conventional venue. However, I will NEVER go to the House of Blues for a comedy show again. There were so many people talking, like they were in a bar, which of course they were. I also admit to hating standing for a show. The only show I would see at the HOB is a loud rock and roll show, where the music drowns out the pinheads.

Bob Saget relied heavily on references to Full House and AFV. His act was not very scripted, his jokes were all over the place; lacking structure. If you want to just hear a lot of random perverted comments, then this is the show for you. I my self have seen most major comedians and Bob Saget was a little boring, but overall still a very funny show if you like his style of humor.

The show was great the only reason I could not give it 5 stars was due to the drunk woman behind me whose constant shrill was louder than the speakers 15 feet away. She spent most of the show screaming out things to try and get Bob's attention.

Opening act was funny. Bob S was as I expected. Funny, entertaining but not someone I'd have to see again. Unfortunately there was a very intoxicated attendee seated next to me and my GF. He was annoying all around him at the hightops in the rear. After asking him to be chill in a nice way, he continued to speak loudly and then make threats about how he was going t sucker punch me. Employees of the venue should have been more perceptive to the problem.

Saget's routine was pretty good. He was really good at repartee with the audience. The only negative was he closed his show with several songs he wrote which really dragged out the ending. Could have cut 15 or 20 minutes off the end. A couple of songs would have been enough.

I thought this was a great show and would highly recommend seeing Bob as it was vulgar, funny, entertaining and everything else you would ask for. I would just be weary of where you sit at the performance. There's some drunk/annoying/belligerent people in the crowd who keep talking and yelling constantly during the performance and make it very difficult to hear and enjoy it.

. Didnt feel like money well spent.), No variety of different jokes, the entire show was based on one subject.(except opening act) It got tiring of hearing one topic from him in 25 different ways , (as per say). You can only here so much about something for a duration of a show and then it loses its attention span.

At 1st it was difficult to get the mental picture of the wholesome Danny Taner, Bob Saget's character as the father on Full House. In spite of that he was absolutely hilarious! Not nearly as raunchy as I had heard or expected. There were many instances where I was LOL or practically ROFL!

My fiancé usually falls asleep at shows but not this time! When Mr. Saget walked out onto the stage the audience greeted him warmly and he didn't disappoint. There were some "dirty" jokes, etc but not to the extreme. He walked the fine line between titillating and bawdy. Completely charmed and taken by his act. Of note: His opening act featured a young man whose comedy was refreshingly witty.

This was as disappointing as comedy can get. 60% of the show was Bob doing improve audience work, which is the lowest form of stand up. 30% of the show was recycled material from his 2007 special 'That Aint Right.' When I openly called him out on it, he made some completely unrelated joke and continued doing old material. If you go, just know you're throwing away your money for nothing. I had built this up just too big in my head I guess. We were a group of 6. Leaving we all agreed his act was a 7 or 8. Don't get me wrong he was great. He made it very personable. His memories about Cleveland were fun, almost like you were friends. I have great respect for the guy and he was fantastic at connecting with the audience. He was the kind of guy you would like to sit down and have a beer with. So here was the problem... His stories were long. It took a lot to get to the end (if there was one). You found your mind wondering off, thinking about something else rather than following along with him. I wouldn't go see him again, but if he were in town and wanted to go out to dinner, I'm all in!

Bob Saget is a lazy comedienne. Without the audience heckling him and yelling stuff out he would have no act. It's like he waits for it so he can engage with the fake banter and make fun of audience members. We love seeing comedy, and don't mind raunchy. But it has to be smart, and funny. This was teenage humor where every punchline was a sex act as in "and then I f'd her". At 60+ years of age it just doesn't work for him. We see 10-15 comedy shows a year at least and it's the first time we ever walked out on one.

Bob Saget is an excellent comedian. He talks about his life, his television and movie work, and makes all of these corny jokes to really move the audience. I always liked Bob Saget as an actor and it was nice to see him in person. Just a warning that Bob is very vulgar and his comedy may not be for everyone. Just a warning. But if you don't mind vulgarity, go see him. You will not be disappointed.

This isn't smart humor but Bob Saget humor at its best. If you expected to see Danny Tanner or the Americas Funniest Home Videos host then this show may not be for you. Saget takes you on a stroll through his brain that is rude and crude and not recommended for those who are offended easily. He's demented, but he's awesome. If you're scared of vulgarity, don't go.

Bob Saget was great! Raunchy & hilarious. He even broke up an argument between two drunk women. True professional.

I enjoyed the opener, Rahn Hortman more than I thought I would. Bob Saget was funny, more middle school boy dirty jokes...definitely worth going!

Bob Saget was crude and profane which would have been fine had it been funny, but it wasn't. We left have way through the show. There were people laughing, but I attribute most of that to vast amounts of alcohol. Simply, he was the second worst comedian I have ever seen live.

I loved seeing Bob Saget; it was so wonderful. Especially to see someone who was so innocent and like a father figure on television turn that around into very inappropriate but hilarious humor. As he came out he said, "Looks like we have a full- nope, not going to say it!" He does such a wonderful job of involving his audience and shaming hecklers. He is just so witty that never once did he hesitate or forget where he was going with a story. Definitely my favorite comedy show that I've seen, it was unforgettable and I will see him every single time he is in town from now on!

Focused a little bit too much on interacting/making fun of a couple people in the crowd instead of sticking with the material. Not the A game, probably a B-, C+ performance.

Bob Saget had his usual material, but he used the audience for entertainment and was just overall funny! The show did not feel too short, as it does with some comedians, and he kept us entertained the entire show!

The show was largely a dumbed down and boring version of comedian-crowd banter, but not the funny kind. Bob Saget just went back and forth with a handful of people who continually shouted "Full House" or "Bob Saget." A few interactions would be fine- but he just went back and forth- over and over again... getting interrupted during other interruptions. It was 40 minutes into the show and I seriously wondered: does he have ANY actual material? He sang a cutesy song about a nursing home- ok. And had a few short gags... but the rest was filler with LAME crowd chatter. In his defense, the crowd was drunk and many seemed more interested in hearing their own voice as they yelled out to interrupt him.

He is touring on Zero material. Total waste of money, he should be embarrassed. We stayed for 45 minutes waiting for him to tell a joke but he just kept yelling "Full House" and yelling his own name, seriously. We walked out. Do not pay him money for this.

Poor Bob. Having to CONSTANTLY deal with morons in the crowd shouting out "Full House" or one liners he has said as an actor really diminishes the show. He was on the stage for about an hour give or take, and spent probably 80% of the show verbally wrestling with these people.
