Saw them in ac. Sorry to say. It s over for village people. Was not entertaining. We stayed. A good 10-15 percent walked out early. Took my kids. We love ymca. It was an experience but would not recommend.

Show was not worth the price of the ticket. Only sang for less than an hour and only the lead singer sings. The other guys just stand behind him. They look more like strippers then entertainers. No energy in the show at all. Waste of time and money

The whole venue was really good. The acrobatic performances before the show was great, kind of like seeing Cirque de Soleil performers. The special treat and surprise was an unannounced performance by Ashanti, excellent performance and great, strong voice. Then, the Village People were great as expected. It was a wonderful New Years Eve Party! However, I did think the costs for drinks was a little too high and having to buy scrips for drinks was cumbersome.

Have been a Village People fan for longer than I care to admit and even have video of "You Can't Stop the Music." However, the group was more of a time machine for me than a rock group. While this actually added to the enjoyment, I fear the Village People have become a one trick pony.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. We thought the Village People were simply fantastic and they put on a great entertaining show. The crowd really got into the show by dancing and singing along with the group. Gloria Gaynor was also fantastic. She may be getting older but she sure can still sing those great old songs and her new songs. We really enjoyed her show and thought her backup band and singers were also great.

The show was a lot of fun. A lot of energy. They only had a few songs that I could remember that made them the hit they were but they sang medleys of other disco era songs. I have to google the group to see which if any of these guys are origionals. There were a few older ladies who had consumed a bit of alcohol that were standing near us by the stage who were quite a distraction. They kept screaming at the guys while they were performing - wanting them to sign an album cover. One even climbed on the stage when the guys finished. It would have been nice to have a security person to maybe encourage them to back off a little.

the VILLAGE PEOPLE put on a very good show. Seating was very bad. had a hard time seeing over taller people at table below us. The after party ticket was a waste of money. The crowd was not controlled. Very disappointing..

My wife and I were surprise that this event was packed, but we also got the after show and we tried to get pictures with the group but not allowed because to many people and the group had to leave but the cowboy stay behind and took a picture with my wife!

Outstanding concert by the Village People. Played all there origional songs and a new one as well. The venue was different sort of like a dinner theatre at the Resorts but overall good seating. After party for Village People was fantastic as well.

I was very impressed with the solid performance that the group gave. Often one does not know what to expect with an oldies group. One wants to hear the nostalgic sounds of yesteryear, but sometimes the groups just can't deliver that. However, these guys were very energetic with their dance moves and they carried their tunes well. It was as if time had not marched on. I found myself singing and wanting to get up and dance like the old days. Anyone looking to catch that true disco beat would not be disappointed with this concert.

Didn't know what to expect from a 70's band - was not disappointed! It was the most fun I've had at a show in a long time. I would go again in a heartbeat. Just wished it was longer!!!! And that they sold T-shirts!!! :) I took my kids (17 & 13) and they had a great time.

First, The Trammps were the opening act and played for about 1/2 hour. I only recognized one or two songs but they sure can dance. Disco Inferno is their well-known song. Then after a short intermission, the Village People played for about 75 minutes. The Village People were fabulous. They had everyone on their feet. They sang all of their songs, plus a new great song. I didn't want it to end. The Village People sure put on a tremendous concert! I am giving it 5 stars because of the Village People. Could have done better with a different opening act though.

Having the legendary Tramps to open the show was a welcomed appetizer! The Village People were in rare form. Their choreography & energy was stupendous and on point! I can't believe that 36 years later, after buying..my then..2 year old son every Village People record, that I finally get a chance to see them perform. I took my daughter who is 30 years old and she partied the night away! What a way to celebrate my 63rd birthday!

I was surprised that there was no opening act to get things warmed up. Big fan of 70s music and have seen the Village People several times in the past. I felt that the venue (while very beautiful) did not lend itself to the party like atmosphere that you expect with the Village People. I was disappointed overall with the show but would go again to see the group in a different setting or with other acts. Tickets were overpriced for just 75 minutes of show.

This was the worst concert I have ever seen. There was NO band!!! It was VERY short!!! It sucked! Not worth $50.00. Maybe $5.00 at the most. Very disappointing. The best part of the concert was the company I was with.

For the sixth time in my life, I saw the Village People live and the show was great! The guys are loaded with energy still after all these years. The favorites were there - "Macho Man," "San Francisco/Hollywood," "Go West," "In The Navy," and, course, the ubiquitous "YMCA." There's nothing like hearing those old favorites and watching the choreography! We also heard "Can't Stop The Music" from their classic movie of the same name. David Hodo's compilation "Trash Disco" is always fun and the VP added several other groups' music including "You Take My Breath Away" to their show. The show was a little different this time because it didn't open with the Grand Funk Railroad hit "We're An American Band" that I was expecting. No doubt, though, the hour and a half show is worth seeing over and over again!

the village people rocked prim arena they had great harmonys they made sure everyone had a great time! This was my 7th time seeing them in concert and like wine they get better as the years go by.My only slight disapointment was that there are only 2 orginal members I know groups change and all but was sad that david hodo was no longer with the guys not that his replacement was'nt good but still I was looking forward in seeing him still up there other than that as I metioned they rocked was very happy that they did the song from thier god awwful guilty pleasure movie cant stop the music that was a nice treat and had fun doing ymca song with the guys onstage over all it was a fun great concert

I know that the group disbanded decades ago. However, they brought back Victor Willis, an original from the 70s. He tried to pull it together, but the show lasted only 60 minutes (no curtain call). It wasn't horrible but lacked enthusiasm and connection to the audience. Not a great experience overall.

Rent a doorman didn t have a clue. Ticket holders were sent everywhere to check in. People cutting in line. Tickets said 10PM. It was closer to 10:45. Minimal about of songs and out of the event by 12:10. Expensive poorly run event. Bad experience. Afraid to attend another event.

I had gotten tix then sorta regretted it. Nobody wanted to go. And I admit I thought it was gonna be cheesy. But to my surprise it was fantastic. The TRAMPS were vocally on point... rose Royce were great... sister sledge (even though Debbie was missing) was great and played a full set with a band (the only act with a band) and really to my biggest surprise the village people were Great! I saw them like 20 yrs ago and they still got it! Overall it was a really great show..3 hours of nonstop fun

You can never get tired of the Village People. Their music will live on. I'm not sure if they have any of the original members left but with the exception of one of them, they are very entertaining. They sing all of their big hits and several other covers. Their opener, by the Brothers Johnson, Stomp was great. It was an older crowd which probably justified an afternoon show. The crowd was mostly calm for most of the show. But the Village People urged everyone to get up for the last two songs. It was nice to see the group finally willing to party. Of course YMCA was the last song and they taught us the proper way to spell out the letters.

Show was about what I expected. They sing all of your favorites and throw in a couple of oldies but goodies. The guys are full of energy and dance the entire time. Have to say I was shocked by the demographics of the fans. I'm 49 and was by far the youngest fan there. Only issue I had and its minor at best was the length of the show. 1 hour and 15 min. I got a lot in an hour but for todays ticket prices, need to have a little bit longer show. Overall very fun and these guys thanked their fans numerous times, would see them again in a heart beat.

my 2nd time to see the VP and what an experience. All the moves the hits and fun. Very enjoyable. Special VIP show with dinner meet and greet and pic. The guys were very nice. At the end of the show the Indian (original member) gave my daughter a feather. They ran through all the hits a couple of covers (doobie brothers listen to the music) played for about 1 hr 25 minutes. Fun fun fun. All performed with prerecorded music. Cool that there are still 2 original members in the band
