Brian Culbertson

Brian Culbertson and his band and guest singers were phenomenal and gave their hearts and souls into an amazing performance. Nothing second-class about this off-strip performance that had first class performance and production to rival anything on the Vegas Strip. Aliante's Access Showroom is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole overall experience was of great fun and enjoyment.

Unbelievable talent on show with a concert with Brian Culbertson. Awesome music and energy. I can t miss performance!

What can I say about Brian Culbertson. His show was his best yet. The concert was worth the trip to Vegas. Can t wait to see him again.

I have been so fortunate to have seen Brian Culbertson several times in different venues and I will continue to attend events where he performs. This Christmas show was absolutely wonderful and I was able to enjoy it with members of my family - who now understand my passion for jazz and Brian Culbertson's musical stylings. Michael Lington surprised me, because I have only heard a few of his pieces, but he was just as entertaining, and he has such a charming personality. This show was a great start to our upcoming holidays. Brian Culbertson and Michael Lington were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!

Brian as always was fantastic. Coupled with Michael the night was unforgettable. Whenever I see Brian play I am just hypnotized. I hear nothing but him playing either the piano, which I love, or the trumpet. He is fierce in every sense of the word.

The concert was a jam. Brian is one of the most talented musicians today. I've never experienced the tickling of the ivories as I did tonight at the Soulful Christmas concert at BB Kings in NYC.. He feels his music and boy does he play it from the soul. It was a great way to start the holiday season.

What a great talent!!!! He put's on such a great show--talented musician and a true entertainer!!! I loved the smaller more intimate venue! His band and specal guest were phenomenal as well!

He was engaging with our audience, playful with his stellar band members and ohhhhhhhh so passionate with his instruments!!! He had 3 distinct sets, all represented by The Colors of Love (Silver, Red, & Blue). He wore a different color sequence jacket to represent the mood of his music he was about to play. His technical elements added something uniquely special to this experience. There is something undoubtedly gifted about this man!! I have had the pleasure to witness/experience his concerts multiple times now. He NEVER disappoints!!! If he is coming to a city near you, GO SEE HIM FOR YOURSELF!!! For years I've been trying to see BC in concert, but the stars or karma or fate wouldn't allow it. Finally with some fancy footwork and shuffling of priorities I was able to get to see this amazing artist perform live and he did not disappoint. One of the best all time shows I've ever witnessed. I can't recommend going to see any of his live performances. You will not be sorry you did it.

Brian Culbertson gave an amazing performance. It was soulful and intimate. I did not want the concert to end. This show is a must see for all the jazz music lovers. You won't be disappointed.

Very few can put on a show with the energy and entertainment value of Brian Culbertson! This was my second time seeing him and I will see him over and over again when he is in the area. How he can sustain the enthusiasm I will never know, but he is well worth the money. I have seen many shows and his is at the top!

I saw Brianl last year at the HJF. I was amazed. I went to Birchmere because I had to know was he really that good or was in a zone. At Birchmere He did not disappoint. Image a mad Sciencetist in his lab. He was making music. From one instrument to another. I am still amazed. What a show. Two of my sisters went with me. That is our topic of conversation. I throughly enjoyed the show. Brian is a master at entertaining.

I am still on cloud 9. I can never get enough and I got a rose. I stuck it in my flower pot with my other flowers.

This was the best show I ve seen of his. I was so elated with this show.

Went to the Brian Culbertson venue this last weekend and it was amazing I love his music everybody was up and dancing there were funny moments a lot of funk music being played Brian is a master on the keyboards among other instruments we even saw Sinbad and a few local singers join in some songs and I would highly recommend this concert with Brian

Brian knows how to hold a crowd. Sadly not everybody knows this. It was not a sold out crowd which baffles me. He always finds a way to make his concerts different from the last. I have seen Brian 6 times and there is always a twist; never the same songs in the same order, blah, blah, blah. If you want a regurgitation of his studio albums, you won't get it. He brought a regular piano with him and he played many tunes from Colors of Love and finally dedicated one to Michelle, his wife. After the concert, he came out and signed cd's. after playing for over 2 hours and then he takes the time to meet his fans. One fan brought a microphone to be signed ((Mike from Blu Monsoon, a jazz trio). Brian asked Mike to stick around so they could talk after the line of people was gone. Front row, pit seats were excellent. up front and intimate. he'll be back in 2020 and so will i.

Although I was extremely disappointed with the venue, the Brian Culbertson "Colors of Love" tour is amazing. Brian never disappoints. It was my third time seeing him perform live and he NEVER disappoints. His musical talent is superior and he puts on a great show. He performed for over 2 hours...you definitely get your money's worth. I HIGHLY recommend him and will see him every time he's in my area - even if I have to go back to Sony Hall (which was too cramped for my liking). I prefer B.B.King's, where the show was originally scheduled to be held, but the venue was changed a few days prior to the show.

There are no words suitable for the talent of this performer. Magnificent show, wonderful to meet in person. Just a out and out amazingly talented and pleasant individual. I d recommend attending his show at least once in your life.

Brian amazes me with his talent and shows. This show incorporated technology with guest artist joining him on the screens. The shows get better every time.

Excellent set list and execution. Brian performed some of his best hits and kept the crowd rocking for two hours.

Brian brought his A++++ game to this production. He was on fire backed up by some incredibly talented musicians. He incorporated some visual elements that enhanced the entire experience. In the end, though it was Brian at his Roland keyboard and then the grand piano (with a little T-bone thrown in) that made for an unforgettable two hours. Outstanding!

I absolutely love Brian s showmanship. I ve seen him several times and I ve never been disappointed. The venue seats were very tight, my 6 4 husband was so cramped he had to get up and stand for half the show.

One great artist and even better live. Don't pass this one by. The sound, band and stage show was excellent. A must see!

I saw Brian Culbertson and George Clinton with Parliament at the Rose Music Center in Huber Heights, OH. Brian was AMAZING, as always. The crowd was on their feet most of the set. It was a great concert. Brian truly brought the funk! I give him 5 stars!!! Everything went down hill after that. Intermission was supposed to be about 20 min. Nearly a hour after Brian left the stage, George finally took the stage. I give them 1/2 star. The sound was HORRIBLE!!!!! There was a lot of reverberation, low vocals, unnecessary booms, high pitches.... You could hardly hear any of the song lyrics. Although it didn't matter, George didn't sing much. He cued the audience to sing. I think it is time for George and Parliament to put down the mics and retire. Most of the audience left, including myself, after their third song. I highly recommend going to see Brian Culbertson anytime he is near your location. Don't waste your time or money going to see George Clinton and Parliament. You will be disappointed. Listen to their songs on CD instead. You'll have a better time.

Brian is exceptional. Phenomenal performer, great entertainer. I would not hesitate to see Brian again, again and again.

Brian Culberston is not only one of the most amazingly talented artists, but is also a fan friendly guy who takes time out for his fans! The Venue was perfect and draws a mature crowd of fans with the same love for music. I will definitely be back!

Brian was OUTSTANDING again. If you want to dance! If you want to be entertained! If you want to watch GREAT musicians! Then this is the CONCERT! The venue is FABULOUS! Brian also signed autographs and took photos with his fans.

I have mixed feelings about this event. I LOVE Brian Culbertson and his portion of the show was the bomb as usual! He should have been the main event and gone last. Not sure why that wasn't the case. No disrespect to George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, but that portion of the show was kind of a train wreck. The sound was horrible, you couldn't hear the vocals and it pretty much just sounded like noise. I stuck around out of respect for the great music they are responsible for and that I have truly enjoyed all my life. But I would have much rather had two hours of just Brian Culbertson! He is who I paid to see. Now about the venue. The Rose Center is nice and all but I've seen two shows there now and the acoustics are not great at all. The bass drowns out all of the rest of the instruments and especially vocals. I'm not sure if it's the metal roof or the placement of the speakers or what, but they need to consider doing something to make the acoustics better in that place. I MUCH more prefer The Fraze and I hope my favorites like Boney James and Brian Culbertson and others consider going back to the Fraze next time in Dayton. And to be honest George Clinton and friends may have sounded better there too... not sure, but maybe.

I've been in love with Brian since the 90's when I first came across some of his Jazz recordings on WCLK. But his FUNK! Tour concert at the ASO was amazing and the best time I've had in a while at a concert! Growing up with funk in the 70's was fun, but revisting it via Brian's covers and his new contributions to the genre was the best. It was great to step out of the stress of recent events and into a time of re-funk-a-fication! Thanks to B and his band! Can't wait til the next show rolls around to Atlanta

The best concert I've been to in a long time. The setting was very intimate and the audience was super engaged. I would go to see him in this setting anytime. PHENOMENAL concert.

My hubby and I went to see Brian Culbertson for our Valentine's Day celebration. It was a perfect evening with fabulous entertainment. Brian Culbertson was amazing. This is a must see show.

Everything about this concert was flawless!! The talent that Brian Culbertson surrounds himself with is superb! The sound balance, the light show - everything about this show was beyond our expectations! It was so nice to be in a smaller venue where you could see and enjoy everything happening on the stage.

The entire show was really great. I had a good time. Only part i didn't like was when they stopped a group in mid song. (Robert Glasper Experiment). I could tell that he was upset about it. Other than that it was a really great show.

All of the artist that performed were very professional and extremely talented. Eric Benet's voice was strong and soulful. He sounded even better live. Brian Culbertson was by far my favorite. I've seen him perform several times. He is ALWAYS a joy to watch and a pleasure to listen to. He is truly the definition a musician. #lovedit

Although I've listened to Brian's music for years, I had no idea his Live performances were so extrodinary ! My Wife and I both felt this was our best show ever at Chene Park and we've been attending shows there for 21 years. Great Venue with Great People !!

Enjoyed the show very much! I met Brian Culbertson on the Smooth Jazz Cruise Oct. 2013 to Mexico. I wanted to come and enjoy his music live again, I brought a friend with me and she will never be the same. It was her first Live Jazz performance. She loved it, also.

From soft rock to smooth Jazz, Brian Culbertson is the man. His band is wonderful and all blend to give a very memorable performance.

The show was spectacular and Brian put on a performance to remember. He is a truly gifted musician.

Did not know what to expect, had tickets to two previous shows at Alliante that I was unable to make. Quirky was one of my first impressions to his delivery and interaction with audience. I most enjoy the old & current love songs but audience reaction to those were minimal compared to the funk style. Use of Sinbad video very entertaining. 2 hour performance, who does that but Chicago?!

A true showman who never disappoints. His show is dynamic and keeps the audience on their feet

This was our second time seeing Brian perform and both at the Aliante Casino. His new music is great although I am a bigger fan of his Funk songs from the last album. If you haven't seen him live you must go to a show.

CAN I SCORE HIM A 1,000? I had a rough time I Vegas but if I had known this concert was going to cure all of that I would have brushed off all my frustrations. I just love Brian, his love for music and his sweet personality. I had front row seats and it was so worth it. I was being silly, grabbed Brian's leg and begged him not to leave the stage and he was so gracious.

Brian Culberson never disappoints. He is extremely gifted, talented, and a highly skilled musician. He seems very genuine and personable. We attend his concert whenever he comes to H town. My husband and I both enjoy his concerts and are considering seeing him again, in another state, while he's on tour. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!! Can't wait for his Houston return.

Brian Culbertson's performance was fun, rhythmic, energetic and took you from the quiet introspection of just he and his piano (e.g. Michelle's theme") to the "everybody on your feet" energy of 70's funk classics and all his music from the 90's to his latest album. Avery Sunshine opening for him was a bonus, with a phenomenal voice and style that was beautiful to hear. We definitely got our money's worth with this show, and would definitely love to see him again at his Chicago mini jazz festival in September.

Brian is an awesome performer. He is so talented by not only making the piano and keyboard sing but he can play it backwards!! He also can play the trombone beautifully. He had some visual effects with singers and Sinbad that was hilarious. Brian performed for 2 hours after the opening act of Avery Sunshine. A must see concert!!

Can't get enough of Brian Culberson:-) The show was awesome, fantastic!, and high energy! In my opinion, he is the best jazz entertainer and we would come back to see him time and time again. Avery Sunshine did a great job as well!

My first time. My 17 year old son is a huge fan and Brian is an inspiration to him in his music. My son plays piano also. We can t wait until he comes back again. What an AMAZING show. Avery Sunshine done an exceptional job also. I will be looking for her if she has a concert also.

Having seen Brian twice before i expected a great show. Had to leave, the bass was painful and vibrated us to extreme. The lyrics as a result were unintelligible. Sad . Same for warm up act. Go back to McFarland auditorium at SMU.

From the moment Brian stepped on to the stage until the finale, I was completely taken in by his masterful performance. He owns the keys!!. And if that is not enough, he plays the trombone and drums! What a performer, performance. This show is not to be missed! Avery Sunshine was fantastic. She is very energetic. I absolutely love her!!!

If you love jazz music or love live music performance, this is the artist to see. Brian connects with his audience very well and keeps the show exciting. His talent is such that once you hear him play you will recognise his music whenever you hear it sight unseen. He also involves other great musicians and singer in his shows and lets them showcase their talent as well. This is one artist that I will never miss seeing if at all possible. Haven't missed a show for 4 years running and never will god willing. I have enjoyed each and everyone each more than the one before. I highly recommend you make it a point to see him at least once and you will be hooked forever. :-)

I m a big fan of Avery Sunshine who opened the show. Man.... What a VOICE and great stage presence! Brian and his band were FANTASTIC!! Loved the staging and they performed for at least 90 minutes. Well worth attending. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I see him everytime he is in Detroit! Highly recomend anyone who enjoys smooth jazz and some R & B funk to check him out. Never a disapointment!!
