The Ten Tenors

I have attended hundreds of concerts (true, I was in "the business") and understand the difference between below average, average, above average, and off the charts - Most concerts are average or above average while a few truly suck. Very few are off the charts - trust me when I tell you that the Ten Tenors was so far off the charts that a new rating category should be invented just for them. And please, those of your who associate the word "tenor" with opera or classical music or anything else stuffy and boring...forget your definition of the word, and be prepared to to create a whole new dictionary just to describe what they are - for they are unlike any musical event I have ever seen. They are able to blend raw talent, years of classic voice training, humor, and charisma into an evening of never-ending surprise and wonder - and don't forget some pretty clever choreography for a bunch of left-footed opera tenors. The entire evening was Magic -from the opening arias (from Figaro and other operas that I cannot name) to the finale of Silent Night, the audience was repeatedly on their feet and cheering (the familiar sounds of the opera house - BRAVO - regularly pierced the darkness - but were often in tribute to such things as the clever rendition of Madonna's "Like a Virgin"). From 50's Doo-Wop to 80's "Whatever the heck that was" with ample holiday songs and a few well-know arias to appease even the stuffiest opera fan, they covered an amazing variety of music - and, despite not having an orchestra behind then (a trio of able musicians, one of whom fortunately handled the computer "sample" quite well) they were able to handle the incredible diversity of styles with grace - though it would have been icing on the cake to actually have had some strings on stage - and certainly there seemed enough audience, spending top dollar for tix, to warrant the expense - but even with that one criticism, they earned an A+ in my book.

My wife and I, enjoy good music and theater. By good music, I mean Andrea Bocelli, Celtic Women, Ten Tenor, John Denver, Plicado Domingo, and many others we have had the good fortune to see live on stage. Its hard to say, who we like the most, there all so great. I can tell you the Ten Tenors rank at the top of our list with the best, many of which are international famous. We would highly recommend the Ten Tenors to our friends, and will be back to see them again in the near future.

Truly amazing! I'm involved in over 200 Productions every year, and this was one of the few times I had to get out to see a good show and support the RPO.... We were treated to a stellar performance - on stage and from the production crew... LD especially had his cues DOWN. What a great show not to miss next time there is an opportunity.!

Thought the whole show was very well done. There was a good mix of classical opera and contemporary stuff. The "highbrow" numbers were still approachable enough that my wife, not a lover of classical music, still loved it.

The Ten Tenors put on a fantastic show. They have incredible talent and are handsome too. I loved it when they put their own spin on the songs and showcased their abilities. Truly worth seeing. I would go again in a heart beat!

I decided to branch out my horizons and picked this show. I thought it was great. Very upbeat and exciting!

This group was AMAZING!! They started with classic opera and moved into rock seamlessly. If you weren't singing along, you were tapping your feet or drying your eyes! The next time they come through Atlanta, I'll take the entire family.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. These ten guys are very talented and entertaining.

This was an ecletic show of music by 10 talented young men from Australia. It was fast moving, entertaining and delightful for the eyes and ears. They sang opera, show tunes and classics. My husband and I would see it again.

I have seen The Tenors four times and each time they were great. I do wish they had played more older stuff, but the new music was as good. They Fox Atlanta was a nice venue, but parking was hard to find even with prepaid.

Absolutely the best concert I have seen in ages!!!! They were all talented,charming and unforgetable. In fact my friends and I are going to Macon in November to see them perform there.

These guys are always amazing. We saw them several years ago at their first Atlanta concert and will not miss them whwnever they are here. Thier concerts are truly one of the most enjoyable evenings in a theater you can have anywhere. Their repertoire is so varied it dosen't matter what music genre you enjoy, you will get it from these Ten Tenors. Their showmanship and musicality are wonderful. We could not believe the number of empty seats at the Fox. They deserve much better marketing. Highly reccommend the Ten Tenors.

Went with my husband (we are both in our mid-forties) and two stepsons (ages 10 and 12) and everybody just loved it! Variety of music was wonderful and personality and talent of each individual performer really shone through.

They all sang beautifully and gave me chills. The whole show was very entertaining and very funny at times. They all have amazing voices. It is a must see!!

Absolutely one of the best performances seen. They were so personable and they re singing was magnificent. Would love to see them perform again and again!!!

This Australian ensemble was amazingly talented. They passionately performed traditional Christmas carols as well as a sampling of other songs to everyone s enjoyment. It is evident that they love what they do and the audience loves them back!

The show was very good. They sang Christmas songs plus a jersey boys piece the theatre is a great place to see a show no bad seat and for s good price

I could listen to these guys sing all day! I liked that they added in some other songs with their Christmas mix. They clearly love what they do and they do it so well! I hope they return - I'll be the first in line for tickets!

Have listened to the Ten Tenors since 2014. Always disappointed when I received emails of upcoming tour dates and they were always in Europe, the West or Mid Coasts but never the East Coast. It was by chance that five days before their performance I heard the an announcement on TV that they were appearing in Ocean City MD. Immediately called my sister (she's a big fan too) to find out if she wanted a ticket.. S'he did. I've been to many concerts and what impressed me the most, beside their performance, was (1) anything that was sold the entire profits went to St Jude's Hospital for Children and (2) After performing over two hours these fine men came down to the lobby to sign CDs that people bought. I only hope they come back soon.

Aside from a short intermission, they performed for 2 1/2 hours! Terrific selection of songs both Christmas and general genre, WELL PERFORMED! If they were somewhere close by, we'd go see them AGAIN! GREAT VENUE, WONDERFUL SONGS, SPECTACULAR EVENT & NIGHT! Well worth it!!!

Just what we needed to get in the holiday spirit. Energetic, fun, and an over two hour show!

They were remarkable and I felt like I was at Broadway. I would definitely purchase tickets sgain to see them and invite friends!

The whole family including our 11 year old daughter had a great time. Ten tenors had great voices, good repertoire, and were very amusing as well. Such a nice Australian Xmas treat!

If you have the chance to see The Ten Tenors, do not miss it. They sing and perform a great variety of songs from Jersey Boys, Queen, and holiday favorites. Every one of the ten tenors has a spectacular voice. You do not want to miss them.

This was more than a Christmas show. They included other tunes as well. The choreography added to the evening's enjoyment. I think I started a yearly tradition.

At the start of the show the 10 tenors said they would keep singing as long as we kept applauding. We did and they did as well. Great variety of music- loved the diva medley.

I hadn't heard of the Ten Tenors before they came to town. The draw for me was the Damonte Ranch High School Lunch Choir opening for them. And I was hoping for good things from the main event. Beautiful sound, every singer was strong, sonorous, and entertaining. They talked just enough between numbers, and were funny. My wife and I especially enjoyed the Spanish and Italian pieces. We don't buy a lot of CDs anymore, but we made sure to get two of their recordings on the way out.

Fantastic! Must See! Bring your adult friends and family! Drive as far as you must!

Very poor choice of songs. Generally very little harmony they sing same melody line in chorus. Wasn t upbeat and there was a lack audience interaction. The Four Seasons melody was fun but not enough of that to carry show. Spend your night seeing Staight No Chaser for an enjoyable evening.

What a versatile and amazing group of singers...everything from classical opera to Lady Gaga...they do it all with style and great talent...each and every one of them. Don't miss an opportunity to see them perform. Absolutely loved it!!

The Ten Tenors were amazing. My first time seeing them but hope it's not the last. The Jersey Boys medley, Hallelujah, and Imagine were just some of my favorites.

The Ten Tenors show on Saturday was an exceptional show of talent and musical artistry. Listening to the wonders these men made with their voices was amazing. And I cannot let their musical accompaniment go without notice. The three musicians were fantastic. The guitarist made his instrument sing with a willowy airiness and wanton passion. Great show and highly recommended,

The preview for the show had the mates singing opera. Their show was 80% pop and rock which all sounded the same after the first few songs. More a cappella would have been nice too!

This was an excellent performance. It is too bad we do not hear much about this group. Their harmony is beautiful. They put on a very creative show also. The variety of music is excellent, it covers all ages.

What an ensemble of beautiful voices!! They're song choices were superb. They song a lot of contemporary songs which, for my taste, made the event even more entertaining. Would highly recommend for groups of all ages. A very tasteful presentation.

We enjoyed the Tenors so much. The show was beyond our expectations. Great music from classics to the Jersey Boys - and done with such enthusiasm. It amazed us that at the very end of the show, the men were still so animated and lively. I've already recommended it to anyone to be on the lookout for them.

Had front row center seats and just enjoyed the concert so much. These tenors are just wonderful. Saw them 10 years ago and will see them again anytime. Don't miss it.

Didn't know what to expect but this was a truly great concert. Everyone in our group loved them. The venue was beautiful and just the right size. Sound was great.

I had never heard of Ten Tenors before. I bought the tix simply because it was a Christmas show. I was expecting to be disappointed. I was not! The guys were great! Very talented! I highly recommend seeing them. Very friendly and personable after the show, too. They all signed the CD I bought after the show.

I enjoyed the evening. They had terrific variety in song choices and used the variations in their own voices to great effect.

Friends, my husband, and I attended this past Sunday, and wow! what a show! The harmonies, the blend of voices, what a great experience. I can't recommend this group highly enough.

The 10 Tenors is a FANTASTIC & very deversified band & great for all age groups!

What a purely delightful entertaining show by ten super talented young men. The music was from all genres and each song was delivered differently featuring soloists, duets and trios. It kept me at the edge of my seat enjoying each musical interlude. Pleasantly surprised at Bohemian Rhapsody and the Diva presentation. Ran out during the intermission to pick up the Christmas CD. The Christmas melodies were religious and secular and I enjoyed them all. For me, it's always nice to hear songs relating to the religious meaning of Christmas as well as the holly jolly songs. Wow!.

The Ten Tenors were fabulous! I didn't know anything about them, was going because it was a billed as a Holiday Concert. As soon as they stepped on stage I was captivated. They can do it all! They have a new fan in me, I can't wait to see them again and yes, we did buy the CD, all proceeds going to St. Judes. How can you not love these guys?

absolutely fabulous. we were singing along with them whooping and shouting - at their request if we so desired. i felt like I had just been to see 10 Broadway musicals. Harmonies were terrific. showmanship excellent. they even joined us in lobby after the show.

The Ten Tenors are always wonderful but the great Broadway music made the evening even more magical than previous concerts.

So happy to have gone - worth every penny. Highly recommend going!

My sister & I purchased these tickets as a Mother's Day present for our mother. We had a great time! Our mom is 84 and she was singing along with all the Broadway tunes. So fun to see her enjoy herself. These men are extremely talented and the camaraderie among them was heartfelt. You could tell they truly loved what they were doing. Unfortunately, there were many seats empty. This venue is a great place to see a show. To all of those who missed this show, you missed a good one. Next time they're in town, go & see them. You won't be disappointed!

What a totally enjoyable performance! Great voices, great personalities, great showmanship, fabulous harmonizing. I can't say enough good things about this group. Their song choices were wonderful.

Great blended sound. Lots of variety within the Broadway musical theme. Great choreography and personal interaction with the audience. Unfortunately, 99% of the audience was 60 and older. Where were the young people? The Ten Tenors of Australia are young and I was amazed that young adults are not aware of them. Have seen them twice now and each show was completely different but great! If you're 25-55, you missed a great show!

The Ten Tenors were excellent. The variety of song selection was wonderful and the choreography was fun and well placed. Enjoyed the comments between songs was informative and fun. They seem to enjoy what they were doing which made the show much more enjoyable for those attending, a full house.

As a classically trained singer, I'm pretty critical, so I was worried that I might not enjoy a bunch of solo singers attempt Broadway songs in group singing-style. This concert was much better than I'd anticipated. I was grinning the whole time as the guys have so much fun on stage. A few songs were absolutely gorgeous as they tightened up their vibratos and really fine-tuned the harmonies. The song choices covered a great variety of show tune eras. The only song I didn't enjoy was "When You Walk Through a Storm". Everything else enhanced and uplifted my heart for beautiful singing!

Close harmonies doing memorable loved show tunes and a few other favorites. All were strong and the group was very tight on cut offs, consonants, and artistic interpretation. Thoroughly entertaining.

The music was crisp, their showmanship was befitting their classy act. This is a must see for anyone who enjoys music.

The voices were amazing as was the choreography for ten. Was unfamiliar with two of the songs but appreciated them. Relaxed stage presence while being totally professional .

An amazing compilation of familiar hits, from Broadway to classic oldies. As always, perfect harmony, with great solo parts throughout. Amplification was a little excessive, but overall a great, memorable experience.

The Ten Tenors was wonderful; well-known music sung beautifully.

Loved the show, but it seemed ill-suited to the venue. The sound was so loud as to be a distraction--if not painful. Similarly, the orchestra was a distraction--the sound tended to overwhelm the voices instead of simply enhancing and providing a suitable setting for them. In the end, the selection of music was the most pleasing feature of the program. The introductions of the sets and songs by the individual tenors were fun and informative. But the choreography was somewhat gimmicky, as was the presentation of TEN Tenors. Interestingly, my husband and I independently reached the same conclusion: ten was too many! Why not three, or five, or seven? I suspect we might have felt differently if we had seen the show in a larger arena.

It was very entertaining and the singing was fantastic. The choice of songs was terrific and the ten tenors display many skills besides their voices.

Probably the best show we have yet attended at DPAC! Marvelous voices with a huge range, full of energy and enthusiasm... Great fun hearing so many familiar songs, even singing along! The backdrops reflecting the song themes made it even better... Outstanding performance, the total package!!!

About 1/3 of the songs were very somber - the audience clearly appreciated the livelier songs more.
