Denis Leary

I wasn't sure what to expect with this show. Didn't realize it wasn't a stand up when I purchased tickets. I have always thought he was pretty funny. Would recommend. Also since I bought tickets from ticket master I never printed them out (as I use my smart phone) so I also didn't realize he gave every ticket holder a copy of his book. Also had question answer session at the end.

My husband and I enjoyed the show. Lots of funny stories about friends, classmates and colleagues.

If you like to laugh like never before, this is a show for you

This show is not for the easily offended, and you will be offended by something sometime during the performance. That said, I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time. Denis Leary starts the show, and it seems like the most profane PowerPoint meeting I'll ever attend. Great material. He then introduces in turn the four other comedians, two whose names I don't remember (my apologies, but they did appear on Rescue Me), Lenny Clarke (who looks great physically but has one warped sense of humor), and Adam Ferrara, who was the best surprise of the evening for me. Damn, that dude is funny, and his line about men being "mildly retarded" (according to women) is now part of my family's vocabulary.

A well performed stand-up comedy that left every member of the audience laughing untill their stomachs hurt. Excellently done. If you get a chance to see, do it!

My wife and I truly enjoyed the evening with the Rescue Me Comedy Tour 2 entertainers. It was more than I had expected. Many long and good laughs.

Denis Leary is super entertaining, but so was everyone else that performed at the show. The band was awesome and the entire show was just well worth the pain I am feeling now for missing my bedtime and drinking way too much beer. Tour more! I love you guys! Can't wait for the new season of Rescue Me!

This was the funniest 2 1/2 hours I have spent in a long time. The show flowed so well and there were no down moments, no intermissions! A solid performance from all the team. I never knew these guys were this funny! Watch out if you get squeemish around vulgar language though!

Awesome show even with Leary a little under the weather. Band was very tight. Place rocked.

Leary and all the other guys were hysterical. Heard Tony V for the 1st time and he's a riot. Great comedy show, great way to promote the tv series, and great way to raise money for Leary's firefighters fund. Lots of cool stuff in the silent auction.

Show was fantastic! Funny, perverted, sick and twisted. Just how I like my comedy. Band was great and the music was hysterical. The photo op and freebies just added to the night. Amazed at how much the firefighter foundation has raised and all that it has accomplished since it began. Can't wait for season to start on Rescue Me.

What an amazing show. It was nonstop laughter and all for a great cause. You couldn't ask for better!!

This was the best comedy experience I've had in a long time! We laughed our butts off! Loved the format and variety of the show, the musical interludes, and every single comedian knocked it out of the park. Appreciated that Mr. Leary made a point of letting the audience know that it was, in a way, a shameless promotion for the new season of "Rescue Me" just in case anyone was confused and was put off by the initial montage - as he said, a much better way to promote the show than the normal PR tour. And many thanks for the great work that Mr. Leary and his foundation are doing for firefighters!

It was great to have the headliner Denis get up and start the show and you can see the entire gang is a close crew. We were in stitches the entire time.

Denis was at the top of his form. I'd love to meet each of his three dogs (even the gay one).

The show was AWESOME. My seats were up close and I was so excited to see Denis Leary in person, I think he is a comedic genius. It felt like the show ended too soon, I wanted it to keep going longer! I loved the way it was a mixture of comedy, music, and special guests. Robert Kelly was HILARIOUS! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. And since "Rescue Me" is one of my favorite TV shows, it was so cool to see Lenny in person. I can't believe he lost so much weight, he looked great! Plus a portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit the Leary Firefighters Foundation, which is wonderful. Thank you so much for coming to Albany Denis!!!!!

Great show, you will leave with your face and sides hurting from laughing so hard! Have followed Leary for about 20 years and it was amazing to see him live, no disappointments at all!

What a great night! Denis was hilarious and his friends that also performed kept me laughing! I brought my oldest daughter (she is a HUGE Denis fan) and I don't think she stopped laughing or smiling until we got home! GREAT show all around!!

Denis was absolutely on fire from the outset tonight. His ranting was at a level I have not seen since Lock n Load, I loved it. I brought my fiance and daughter and we loved every minute of it. I have seen him twice and he is worth every penny I spent. Enablers are tour ready and the Rehab Horns were great.

Denis Leary was so entertaining and he came on strong which we liked. He and all the other comedians with his show were fantastic and so funny! My husband and I have followed his many shows- The Job-Rescue Me-etc. and many of his movies. This show ran for 2 1/2 hours of full non-stop laughs and entertainment. Thumbs WAY up!!!!

Denis Leary was in perfect form...we didn't stop laughing from the time he came on stage until the last song closer. The supporting acts were perfectly timed - not too long - and were very entertaining. I loved the show.

Denis Leary is a First Class entertainer. He brought a full band and 4 other nationally booked comics that could each demand the price of admission for their own shows. In other words my tickets were worth 5 times more than I paid for them.. I would gladly catch him again the next time he comes around.

Very good show! It was worth the money and the fact it was for charity was even better. It was a good length--I thought it would be shorter because a lot of comedy shows are. My favorite performer was Kenny Rogerson. My only complaint was that the music was too loud when Denis was singing. I couldn't make out the words when they weren't on the screen. I find that true of pretty much all the concerts there. I wish they would turn down the amps for the instruments so that I could actually hear the singer and the words. I don't understand why it has to be that loud. It totally ruins the concert. I went to see Bare Naked Ladies at the Mullins Center and that was probably the best concert I've seen (and heard) because the volume was at a comfortable level. C'mon Mohegan, turn it down some!

Denis Leary and his fellow Rescue Me guests were non-stop entertainment. They clearly love making people laugh and they are all very talented at it. It was an added bonus that the money raised goes to the Leary Fire Fighter Foundation. Don't hesitate, attending this show is a definite must do.

This show was so funny. I don't even understand how anyone could give it a negative review. I went with my husband and one of our friends. We all loved it!!! Denis Leary was so funny, as was everyone else in the show. When we left the show we commented on how our cheaks hurt from laughing so much!! I highly recomend getting tickets to this if they're still available.

I saw that Denis was coming and I had to get tickets. He did not disappoint. when I found out he was with the guys from the show "Rescue Me" it was even better! I love Lenny Clark. I would see Denis again anytime.

Crap seats nose bleed to high and I used the link sent to me as a promotion. Thinking they would be good seats. They were crap andade me look bad on front of mtvfriend for buying such shit seats.

Dennis Leary was awesome. We had 6 friends come witht us and they all loved him. Have seen him before and would see him any time he is in the area. Laughed so hard the whole show.

I was late and couldn't find parking right away so I was agitated. The show itself was amazing, I love Denis Leary and the other comics were excellent as well, especially Kevin Rogerson!

The show was excellent. All of the performers did a fabulous job. Not for people offended by foul language or non-PC jokes.

Denis leary was not that funny never mind the other 2 guys I never heard of. Lenny Clarke was good as usual but the show needed more of him. Denis needs to keep his political views out, it just makes his show worse .

Dennis was a riot. Sharing stories of growing up in his 12 year catholic prison system. Playing hockey and early days of comedy in Boston. He said f@ck a lot so beware uf you have delicate sensitivities

The Denis Leary experience was superb from the minute we arrived outside the theater, it was organized and efficient... Leary came on at almost exactly 7pm (thank GOD there was NO warm-up talent, I pay for the headliner, spare me the attempt to "warm up" the crowd, we don't need it! Ever!) and he was at his best...intelligent, hilarious and a level of class rarely found in a comic who curses as much as he does! Love it when Denis comes home... Do not remember the writer's name from Letterman who was iinterviewing him, but they were obviously friends, have great chemistry, so the format worked out very well...the fact that we received Denis' book was SUCH a major bonus. AND...my wallet and car key fell out of my coat pocket unbeknownst to me, had to go back and forth TWICE to retrieve them, because I had no idea when I went back to get my wallet the first time, that my car key had fallen out also! Wilbur personnel were so helpful and patient...luckily, both were under the seat exactly where I thought they would be... Always a pleasure doing business with the Wilbur, we'll be back to see Trevor Noah in February! My best, SueJ

I was seated on the floor, toward the rear exits. Seats were stools, and surprising not uncomfortable. Sound was loud enough and could clearly see Denis on the stage. I think next time I would try and get a little closer though

Sunday night at Boston's best comedy venue (Wilber theatre) Dennis Leary was interviewed by Steve Schiff for two hilarious hours promoting his latest book (Why we don't suck). The free style forum led to a comic overview of Leary's career as well as his interaction over the years with other Boston comic legends. The Q&A with the audience had the crowd howling with laughter and Leary had to be dragged off the stage as he was clearly loving the interaction. Great night out...

He's my favorite comedian. Loved that he took questions from the audience. could have done without the host so that Denis could have done more of the talking. Overall a fun night.

Denis Leary is one of my favorite all around people. His stories were funny and colorful and I enjoyed every minute of it. People were allowed to ask questions and he interacted with audience and made every feel comfortable. Great night out!

It was a conversation between Denis and his author. The show was very SLOW moving and not even funny!! There was entirely TOO MUCH CURSING!! Then it turned into a long talk about their experiences with Larry David and then of course to politics. I hope the day comes (SOON) when entertainers realize we go to see them to escape from politics. Good luck Denis.

This show was sooo funny! We laughed so hard it literally hurt! Could barely breathe from laughing so hard! Would recommend it to anyone who is a Leary fan! Worth every penny and then some.....

I've been to see this tour each year for 3 years in a row. First year was great. Last year was amazingly funny - just an awesome show. This year... I don't know since I don't want to bash the performers but... there was just a huge disconnect with the crowd. Like the audience went to the wrong show. Several of the performers noted the absence of a connection with the crowd. One even asked "am I speaking French?" when nobody responded to him. Leary's jokes seemed off... previous years it was Octomom or the Pope- kinda funny subjects. This year - Casey Anthony. Except there isn't much that's very funny about that situation. So there were plenty of duct tape jokes and filicide jokes. It felt to me Leary probably saw the direction this was going but had no other material to fall back on. Adam, who closed up the night before the final songs, had the best material. So much better than his previous years work (anyone remember the fiancé ring size story?). He was the single best part of the night. Leary's famous final song which he has used to close all 3 shows I've seen, the AXXhole song (which I have known since my high school days in the early 90s) was met with blank stares by nearly everyone in the floor seats. No singing along or cheering or anything. Just faces that looked like they were watching a movie they didn't understand. It really left a bad taste in my mouth as I felt the crowd was just not into this show. Overall I love Leary and all that he has done over the years, both for charity and his own work, but this show was a disappointment to me because I know for sure he can do much better.

Great show, very topical from Casey Anthony to 10 minutes on the Albany duckboats, his gay dog. 3 othetr comedians split an hour, 290 minutes each with Lenny Clarke closing. Started a little after 7 done at 9:30! Great show, laughed the whole time.

Saw Denis last year and the show was hysterical. This year it seemed Denis was a bit off his game and short on material. Some of the show was funny, but it didn't compare to last year's show. Comedians Adam & Kenny were great.

Denis Leary and his entourage put on a tight, well rehearsed show that delivered good entertainment. My only regret is that he did not stop for even a second outside the Palace to do a quick meet and greet.

For one, its Denis Leary. That should be enough. Really, how could you go wrong? He was great on his own, then he brought his friends out. My wife and I loved every minute! The best show I have seen in a long time. Wish I could do it all over again.

Denis Leary, Lenny Clarke, Chris Phillips, Adam Roth and the band put on a great show. Other 2 comedians were not as entertaining. One went too far with his mesogynistic barbs.This was my first time seeing Leary live.

2 1/2 hours straight of music and comedy. No intermission, just full on comedy.

I am not a fan of watching or listening to comedians... I purchased the tickets for my husband who LOOOVES Denis. I have to say that I laughed more than he did!! The whole show was absolutely fantastic!!!

Nothing like the recordings Denis leary puts out. Just a bunch of very loud and crude jokes. The sound setup was terrible. I could not hear what was being said or sung most of the time.

Denis Leary and Friends was the best show I have seen in a long time. I would see them again. I never stopped laughing and continued on the way home thinking about the show. The only thing that would of made it better would of been a meet and great. Other than that it was a perfect night.

The show was excellent!!! All of the comics were on point and everyone had a great time. Unfortunately the theater forgot to turn on the air conditioning until everyone had already been seated. As a result, the AC did not kick in until more than halfway through the show.

denis leary was great! wish i could have enjoyed myself, however there was no air conditioner and it was extremely hot. I would never pay to see anything at town hall again, i couldnt even fully enjoy myself because it was so uncomfortable.

The show was excellent. Denis Leary was very funny as was his first guest comedian. However, the theatre was so hot we had to leave in the middle of the performance. There was no airconditioning in the building and it was unbearable in the balcony.

One word - juvenile. I get it, you don't like the Catholic Church. That humor only goes so far. And with the amount of potty humor and swearing, it's a perfect show for a 12-year-old boy.

My husband and I love Rescue Me and denis Leary. We loved Denis, but thought that Whitney Cummings ended up being the star of the show! I have seriously never laughed so hard in my entire life. I was sobbing. This show has a nice variety of entertainment and I like how it was broken up into music and a number of comedy acts. Great show!

This was the first time I saw Dennis and I was surprised at how crass he is on stage. (I have followed and love his show, Rescue Me) I thought Adam Ferrara was so,so and enjoyed the female comedienne more than Adam. Lenny Clarke wasworth waiting for - enjoyed him the most!

This show is not for the faint-hearted. The Denis Leary we know from TV talk-shows and the FX program 'Rescue Me' is mild-mannered in comparison to the knock-down/drag-out hilarity of his frank discussion of topics like drug side-effects, political figures, and contemporary sexual relations. We roared throughout the show and the musical numbers like 'Douche-Bag'. I would recommend this show to all who can laugh at themselves as the post-Baby-Boom generation loses the blush of youth.

The show was great! It kept us laughing and entertained, as it did the rest of the crowd. There were some controversial topics covered and some colorful language so best to leave the kids at home. It's also not for people who take offense easily. But if you like comedy and come with an open mind you will like this! The show was about 2 1/2 hours long and there was no intermission. Many people had to make a bathroom run part way through and had to miss part of the show, so plan ahead!

Denis was funny as ever. Whitney was 1 funny lady. Lenny had me laughing my ass of as well. GREAT SHOW!

This was the greatest comedy/music show I have ever seen. Along with Leary, (who was incredible and sang BOTH "Traditional Irish Folk Song" and "Asshole") there was Whitney Cummings and Lenny Clarke. They were both fantastic as well. While I don't agree with all of Clarkes political beliefs, he says them in such a great way you can't help but laugh. Cummings is not only one of the funniest new comics working today, she is really hot. Leary had tons of new material and it was all fantastic. It was an all around great comic experience.

Rescue Me Tour 2 was absolutely fantastic!! SO glad they chose to come to MPLS this year! Denis Leary rocked it, Whitney Cummings was absolutely hilarious!!!! Lenny Clarke was pretty funny but Adam Ferrara was not there. His replacement was ok but the show STILL rocked! Got to love Rescue Me!!!

From the moment it started-hilarious, entertaining and totally worth every penny spent on tickets. 2+ hours of non stop laughing, Denis Leary is a true host and showman and has assembled a great group of comedians to make you forget worries and day to day life for a few hours. This was a great show.

Adam Ferrara did not perform and no one mentioned why. Most of the comedy was base and lude. I was expecting more intelligent comedy. Denis performed five songs with a band. The songs' lyrics were mostly obscenities. Overall, I was disappointed.
