I was afraid we were going to be hearing Danny Boy and the like all evening but was pleasantly surprised. I was delighted with the performance. First half was very IRISH but mostly in a contemporary way. Second half was Christmas all the way! The encore was basically another set. I couldn't tell you their names but the bald guy on the right was the best. Very animated. The ramrod straight guy on the left had the most Irish sounding voice. Guy in the middle was, well in the middle. Great back up orchestra!!! I would recommend them to most everyone, with the exception of the young pop crowd. The renovated Beacon Theatre is BEAUTIFUL. But beware, very narrow seats.

It was a truly wonderful show. It was so great to see them together again. The singing was amazing and their warm personalities were so refreshing. Would recommend seeing them all together or at their solo performances. It was so worth the 4.5 hour ride in the snow:) I have seen them many times and they never disappoint!

First of all, I love the Irish Tenors. I have gone to many of their concerts and usually enjoy them. I sat in the first row, right behind the conductor, with a great view of the stage and performers. I love all the Irish songs they sing, but especially enjoyed Anthony Kearns as he sang "Knocknashee" sitting on a stool. He was right in front of me and has the most beautiful voice. Karl Scully sang an old favorite of mine, "The Old Man", which was very touching and showed his vocal range. Finbar Wright also has an amazing voice, and sang "Beautiful Dreamer" to perfection. The venue was very nice, comfortable seats. All in all it was a very enjoyable evening with beautiful voices singing wonderful songs, and a few hi-jinks along the way. The orchestra generally was excellent. There was a standing ovation until they returned with 4 encores, including "Danny Boy". Another standing ovation at the end of the program. The audience really enjoyed the evening.

This was a fantastic concert of favorite Irish tunes as well as wonderful Christmas music. The orchestra was great, and all three of the tenors delighted us with their voices. We surely hope they will come again soon! Our seats were incredible, the sound was awesome and all-in-all a wonderful evening.,

I was exspecting high notes and a huge voice from Anothny Kearns. This was not the case last night. I was very disapointed with his understated performance. The Gounod "Ava" and "O Holy Night" suffered. On the other hand Finbar and Scully were great. Their performances were top notch. They carried the entire concert.

The Irish Tenors were exceptional! The music selection was varied and covered many ranges of emotions. The narration by the Maestro or by one of The Tenors provided wonderful comic counterpoint and was enjoyed by all. This venue is second only to The Fox in acoustics (and a very close second, I might add). There are no "bad" seats in the house and that makes ticket buying very easy. Don't miss a chance to hear these fabulous voices when they're back in Atlanta!

This concert was splendid. We saw them in Atlanta the last time they were here (2002), and this concert, with the new line-up, didn't disappoint in the least!! A mixture of beautiful Irish songs and Christmas favorites, with a trio of voices that takes your breath away. The orchestra was wonderful in their own right too. I can't wait for their next US tour.

Great song selection. A nice mix of seasonal and traditional songs. The tenors did a great job of putting on a very professional and polished performance without compromising the everyday, sing-in-the-pub feel of the Irish genre. I thought the sound was a little over-produced. The quality was studio level, and lacked the live resonance. Overall a great show, fun, family friendly (edited version of "Fairytale of New York"). 2 hours of music and I wasn't ready to leave. Can't wait to see them again in the summer.

The Irish Tenors were really great! Their music touches my spirit! However, for the first part and a portion of the second part of their performance, they really needed to turn up their microphones cause at times they were difficult to hear, even when the orchestra was not playing loudly. About half way through the second part suddenly, they were louder...not sure what happened. Even those around us made the same comment! If it had not been for the sound...I would have given it a 5 star, rather than 4.

Enjoyed the evening. However, we sat next to a woman who insisted on humming and speaking the words to most of the songs. I suggest word be passed prior to an event of this type that patrons did not pay to hear those sitting near them to hum and sing. As an aside, I had to shhhh two woman who were talking loudly during Abba Mania. Seems some leave their good manners outside.

The voices, the song choices, the personalities and the special bond between the "chaps" made it an extra-special/magical evening. The subtle interjections of humor and humorous mannerisms ('crach") were an additional delight. And the focus on Christmas music......both American traditional, Irish, and even "Jamican-style"..... throughout the second act topped off a wonderful and pleasurable evening of entertainment.

We loved the Irish Tenors- the combo of holiday songs and Irish sings was a great mix. We have seen Ronan Tynan in concert a few years back and he was amazing solo and the trio was just the same. The venue could have been better- we actually stood at the back for a better mor comfortable view. The parking wasn't very easy to find- but the show made up for those difficulties

While all of the three tenors have beautiful voices, Ronan Tynan clearly rises above the other two. He is also the source of 95% of the audience interaction. His artics kept the crowd engaged and amused. Wright and kearns stood there like robots most of the time, especially Wright. While you can't take anything away from thier voices, song selection could have been better. The first half of the show was lovely Irish standards, while the second half was all American Christmas carols. While I enjoyed two or three of them, they became tiresome after an hour and I longed to hear what I went there for which was The Irish Tenors singing Irish songs. If you absolutely love Christmas carols and can't get enough of them then you will be delighted and you may add a star or two.

The iconic music and voices of the Irish Tenors was delightful! I wished they would interacted amongst themselves and with the audience more...they seemed a bit too businesslike. The first half of the program was filled with their Irish heritage and was much enjoyed. After intermission they treated the us to several Christmas classics. Personally, understanding their inferred intent to incorporate the Spanish culture into their program--because it was San Antonio--I felt Feliz Navidad was out of place. Also, the jazzy Christmas songs were not what I expected from this reverent trio. I wished they would have interacted with the audience more!

Tenors were wonderful - but I was a bit disappointed with the song selections. I wished for a bit more Irish music and the Christmas selections seemed all wrong for their voices. This is the third time we have seen the Irish Tenors. They are always a great show to see and hear. It seems as if they enjoy the audience as much as the audience enjoys them. We did think there must have been a problem with the audio because they were adjusting their ear pieces quite often. Perhaps the orchestra could be pushed back a little? It seemed very crowded on the stage. It was an excellent show. We will go again.

The Irish Tenors never fail to impress or perform with the highest integrity. The only issue we had was the venue. Resorts room is way too small and the way they seat people is terrible. While many actually LEFT the show, those who were there to enjoy and listen to them perform, the interruptions by people leaving,, walking in the aisles, and talking during the concert was extremely annoying. If you book a concert like this you have to know what the music involves. We go to see them at every chance we possibly can find but they no longer perform as close to us as this. We take every opportunity to attend the concerts and will in the future, just hope they can find a better venue.

A lovely evening of Irish music, some familiar, some not. The NJSO was wonderful, a great sounding group. The conductor was spectacular, seemed to be 'dancing' with the musicians, but not so much as to detract from the Irish Tenors. Finnbar, Anthony and Ronan sounded beautiful, just wish we had a better view of them, as they were off to the other side of the stage. I imagine the setlist changes from performance to performance, but we wished they had sung the entire of Danny Boy, not just a portion of it during the encore. We also wish that they had chatted a bit more between songs....can't go wrong with a good Irish story!

The show was wonderful - from beginning to end. Their first set included traditional Irish ballads. The second set was chock full of traditional Christmas songs with a touch of New Year cheer. They engaged the audience in the chorus rounds, and there were not many in the crowd of 2,000+ who were not singing and clapping. Only one note of criticism: they could have used a bigger venue than the Lynn Auditorium. Most of the attendees were middle age and up, and parking was not conducive for people who had to park a great distance away - especially in December!

This was a very fun concert. The orchestra pretty much worked full time and the tenors rolled in and soloed some songs that showcased their talent, and sang together the most memorable tunes. All of them are well accomplished and fun to listen to.

This was a thoroughly marvelous event. A little bit of classical, a little bit of inspiration, a little bit of Irish, a little bit of Christmas. They were wonderfully entertaining and musically gave us an evening of joy and wonder. We've seen them twice before and would willingly go back again.

Really enjoyed the lovely evening with friends at the newly renovated Saenger Theater. The Saenger is beautiful and the Tenors were the perfect way to start the holiday season. Just the right amount of serious and silly with those guys (they know which is which :).

My husband and I had heard Ronan Tynan in Los Angeles. We were thoroughly impressed with his singing. So we were thrilled when we heard that he would be in New Orleans. We were absolutely delighted with the performance.
