AS Roma

Awesome! Loved the atmosphere. Loved the game. Roma was very good. I think we were out manned. Of course, our guys only practiced together once!

Had a blast. Guys need to play together in some scrimmages first,

atmosphere wasawsome great event all around it would be little better if all star could have made game out of it

Well, the Italian team was wonderful to watch and it was fun seeing so many great MLS players on the same team. I hated that someone else was sitting in our regular season ticket seats and that we weren't given first choice of those tickets early in the season. I didn't like that we spent as much as we did on our tickets as I didn't think they were better than our regular season tickets. I was expecting better seats. (I realize this was an MLS event, not necessarily a Sporting KC event.) Proud that the game was in KC...some of the pregame was a little lame....half time fireworks were awesome but we were glad we weren't on the East side getting all that smoke in our faces!

Kansas City put on another great event. We couldn't help it if our boys were beat by a team that had been practicing together for years! It waa fun seeing the wait staff in suit and tails serving Lobster, Champagne, Oysters Rockefeller, ect. But DON"Y try the Macaroni and Lobster!!! Awful!!

Excellent atmosphere for high level soccer game. Great stadium.

MLS All-Star showed that they need to prepare more to play against these teams.

We were disappointed in the pregame and half time entertainment. The pregame was confusing. What was the meaning of the little girls with the long ribbons? And why not invite a great KC band, perhaps The Elders to entertain at half time? We see fireworks every week. For $85 it would be nice to see something unique to KC. The game was not as exciting as a typical MLS game. Roma was fun to watch though. What a team!

The game was an excellent contest between the best of MLS and AS Roma of Italy. The festivities were excellent and the quality on the field was very entertaining. Highly recommend any soccer fan to attend any future MLS All Star Game.

If you have a chance to go to any All Star game, take it. It has a great atmosphere. The different events, fans and cheering was awesome. Once in a lifetime event I would not miss. The game itself was OK. All stars played against a team that always plays together. Not surprised we lost. Still enjoyable to watch. Especially when the coach found the right guys to play together in the last 20 minutes. Absolutely would go again if given the opportunity.

Wow did AS Roma look good, this gives MLS great training footage. To be fair, its extremely difficult to bring a group of players together in a very short time and expect them to beat one of the best teams in Serie A. This should really be a review of the overall MLS All Star Game experience. Which I say cheers to MLS for picking opponents that have International appeal. There where many AS Roma fans, that probably have not been to Sporting Park, this game brought them out. Sporting Park is a great stadium, and the experience fans have is first class. And I thought Bradley looked really good, which from a US National team fan point of view was fun to watch!

This was a great event that was so organized, and put together so well.Definitely puts the KC Sporting field on the map as well as Kansas City. The events held before the game on the parking lot across from the field were wonderful. The pregame event was great, atmosphere, people all of it was worth the money. I am so fortunate to have been able to take my daughter who just soaked it all in, and enjoyed the afternoon and evening. I keep telling people how much fun it was. Would do it again!! Yay for Kansas City!!!!

Great show!!!!! Halftime fireworks were a little much though

Good event. The weeks events schedule was lacking. No single place you could find events. Had to rely on others telling you or do constant searches. The event was great for our soccer community.

The event was outstanding. The working staff was helpful. The extra's provided and the entertainment provided was amazing. Pre-game show was fun. Participating in the pre-game stunts was a first for me and I enjoyed being a part of entertaining thousands of others in the stands and hundreds of thousands watching on TV.

Had a great time at the stadium. It certainly was a fun spectacle. But the MLS looked like a high school team against Roma. It was embarrassing. Maybe they need to spend more time practicing with each other before the game.

Awesome experience. Kansas city knows how to do soccer!

KC did this up right they definitely want to have more major soccer events and it showed at every turn of the day. Good job #skcnation.

This event and entire week was amazing. A lot of fun at all the concerts and pregame events leading up to the actual all star game. Met and hung out with a lot of sporting players!

The opportunity to see all the best and favorite soccer players playing as a team was great. Then you add to that all the other activities all week long the entire experience was just grand. Meets and greets of players was a positive plus to MLS and shows the rest of area that Soccer HAS ARRIVED and is here to STAY!

The crowd seemed to enjoy the game and I hope it gets more people interested in MLS games. I thought the All Star team played well considering they had only one or two days to practice together against a team who plays together all season. I really enjoyed seeing Preki and Tony Meola as well as other former Wizards players who were in the Kansas City area during the week prior to the game. I think having the All Star game at Sporting Park gave everyone a chance to see what a great "home" Sporting Kansas City has here.

We saw a world class football club demonstrate a whole level and style of play that was just a notch above the MLS. I think we could see though that we have the talent here to compete on that level. If our All Stars played together on a regular basis, that game would have been exceptionally competitive and the outcome would likely have been a 1-1 tie with a Classico shoot-out to determine the winner. I was very proud of Kansas City as a host site. The hospitality and the facilities were excellent. The Pre-match events in the parking lot area across the street were superb with many stars and dignitaries of the sport to meet and greet, both past legends and present heroes. Nice job, MLS! The free Oklahoma Joe's Barbecue tent was awesome!

the venue, fan fest, week before, pre game, and half time were the best. AS Roma were great. MLS all stars did not play as a team.

Everything was first class, great event! I just wish we would have scored more.

Best thing of the night was watching AS Roma play... really excellent in all aspects of the game. MLS guys looked asleep at the wheel. Disappointing play by our guys (a few exceptions). The pre-game show was OK, but seemed amateurish (kids running around with banners, gymnasts hanging from balloons) and the pace was too SLOW. Also,way too many fireworks... seemed to have lots of low quality fireworks and made up for it by blasting too many of them.... pointless. Neon Trees singer butchered the national anthem... his alleged star power was wasted on a nasal, awkward rendition of the patriotic song. Most of the other feel-good events in the pre-game were standard fare at all Sporting KC games... kids, vets, disabilities, etc.... all good and worthy, but in danger of being overplayed, cloying and patronizing. Sporting needs a more mature hand planning and executing these events. But still love the team!

Nothing special about the game, they were supposed to have special food up and down the aisles but we saw one cotton candy and one lemonade vendor and we were in the second highest price seats.

KC was shining in all its glory. it as a spectacular event. Can't wait until the All Stars come the next time!

Great game. Stadium is great. Not a bad seat in the stadium. Wishes tours had been available day after game.
